Restaurant Artemis - Der Grieche für Kenner in Lengerich

Ich bin zufällig auf dieses Restaurant gestoßen, als ich vorbeikam, und wow!! Ich habe hier köstlich gegessen und werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, auch wenn ich dafür einen kleinen Umweg in Kauf nehmen muss 👍😋

Immer wieder ein Erlebnis hier zu essen. Meine Frau und ich waren wieder mal hoch zufrieden mit Essen, Personal und Ambiente. Alles wie immer sehr gut. 😊👍

Super freundlicher Service. Sehr leckeres Essen. Wenn wir nicht ais Köln kämen, wären wir da häufiger. Nur leider zu viel, aber Einpacken der Reste gehörte auch zum Service.

Essen ist immer hervorragend, leider wird sich nicht an die angegebene Abholzeiten gehalten. Beispiel es wird gesagt 20min und man ist passend da und muss nochmal mindestens 20min warten. Einfach am Telefon sagen dauert 40min und gut ist.

Was für ein fantastisches Restaurant! Ich habe köstlich gegessen und mich nett mit Stefan über Fußball unterhalten ⚽️🤣. Die Atmosphäre war sehr freundlich, ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder! Absolut empfehlenswert!

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Vorab gab es ein Ouzo und Brot mit Dip vom Haus. Zum Essen gab es ein gemischten Salat, anstatt nur Krautsalat. Wir sind mehr als satt geworden. Das Ambiente ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Am schlimmsten sind aber die Papageien. Die sind einfach nur laut! Das nette junge Team hat zum Schluss etwas nachgelassen

Waren zum ersten, aber nicht zum letzten Mal dort. Es ist wirklich schön, Ambiente, Einrichtung und der gesamte Service sehr freundlich. Man fühlt sich willkommen. Das Essen sehr gut, mein Mann hatte Steak, das so gebraten war, wie er wollte und ich hatte zartes Lamm . Es wird sogar vorweg noch ein Amuse--Guele gereicht in Form von Brot mit Knoblauch Dip. Eine winzig kleine Sache : Ich als Teletrinker, vielleicht trinken bei Ihnen nicht so viele Gäste Tee, ist die Teesorte. Lord Nelson, wissen wir wo es den gibt und ist nicht schön und ich sage, das haben sie nicht nötig. Ansonsten ein schöner Abend Vielen Dank

We ended up here quite by chance and definitely didn't regret it. A cozy atmosphere, friendly, quick, and attentive service, and on top of that, incredibly delicious food. We immediately made a reservation for Christmas and will definitely come back again before then. Unfortunately, the Christmas dinner was a complete disaster. First, there was a reduced menu, even though we had been told that wasn't the case. Then it was so incredibly cold in the dining room that we were sitting there in our winter jackets. After asking several times, we were told that the heating was broken and that they couldn't reach the landlord. Unfortunately, they didn't even offer us a discount, so we decided to leave. What a shame, we were looking forward to a nice evening with friends. Unfortunately, it wasn't like this.

Moin, im ersten Moment etwas skeptisch gewesen allerdings wurden wir positiv überrascht. Das Essen war genau so gut wie der Service. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Preis-Leistung passt. Portion ist sehr gut & man wird Saat. Man bekommen im Vorfeld Brot + Dip + Ouzo. Danach einen gemischten kleinen Krautsalat. Die Kegelbahn unten macht auch viel Spaß. Personal ist freundlich & zuvorkommende. Immer wieder gern :)

The food was very good with fairly large portions. The service was friendly and attentive. The parrots can be a bit noisy at times, but that's also a good thing.

Highly recommended!!! My parents invited me here for dinner. We received a very friendly welcome and were able to choose a table. I couldn't really appreciate the charm of the restaurant from the outside, but as soon as I walked in, I immediately felt at home. It's beautifully designed and reminiscent of Greece, simply perfect for a Greek restaurant. The waiter himself always had a smile on his face and was extremely friendly and personable. The service was very good; he regularly asked if we needed anything else and if everything was to our satisfaction. The food was delicious and the portions were just right. All in all, this restaurant was the absolutely perfect choice for us. I would definitely eat here again if I'm ever in the area again.

Very tasty food with very generous portions at a fair price. The waiters are all very nice, friendly, and accommodating. It's a shame we ate here while on vacation and the restaurant isn't closer to home. We would definitely go there more often.

Unfortunately, our meal was a complete failure. Only the fries on the gyro plate were edible. The gyro was a collection of lumps of fat and tendons, and the little halfway edible meat was at least burnt at the ends and black as coal. I haven't sent back meat in a long time (especially when I was as hungry as I was that evening)... but this was inedible. Unfortunately, even after I pointed it out, there was no response from the kitchen. Too bad... a chef should have that much backbone. The (very) young waitress tried hard, but was overwhelmed even with the (very) few guests. You need a seasoned employee as a role model, otherwise you'll burn the young man out. The "Chef Salad* my wife had was "Made by Chef Can Opener," a large pile of coleslaw with carrot salad and beets... all "fresh" from a can, plus three leaves of lettuce from Aldi and a cheap ready-made salad dressing. The hard-working but losing young man still received a tip, but as a small tip... Guests who have already ordered their meal don't need the daily special as a surprise... Guests enjoy mayo with their fries and drinks with their meal... not afterward. There's definitely a lot of room for improvement here.

The food is excellent, the service fantastic! A+ We try to come every week. Our Sunday highlight. Usually table 4 ;) PS: Calamari + gyro with tzatziki for €30 is a completely justified price. You're not a snack bar, but a restaurant! And even then, they'd probably charge that price. You offer excellent value for money, which is a benefit for your guests!! Friendly service, pleasant atmosphere, but unfortunately the food wasn't what we expected from the reviews. We'll try it again anyway.

I went there spontaneously and got a table. The service was excellent and the food delicious. The bread and dip were fantastic.

We ate there on our first wedding anniversary and had the two-person platter. Excellent value for money, and the service was super friendly. We'd love to come back.

The quality of the food has declined significantly. We were there with three people, and everyone was disappointed. The parrots were sometimes very loud.

Sorry for this review, but bifteki isn't done the same way. Here, two pork meatballs split in half, with a few pieces of cow's milk feta and tomato pieces in between. Connoisseurs say the Greeks do it differently...

I ate there with two friends over the weekend, and I have to say I didn't like the food. The meat wasn't cooked all the way through and had a slightly off flavor. I didn't think much of it at first, but later that evening, I had a stomach ache. The service was also a bit lackluster. The restroom in the restaurant smelled unhygienic. Once, never again...

Absolutely fantastic, delicious food. Friendly staff, only the parking spaces are a bit unsightly. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed! I had a Zeus with gyro and steak! The gyro was very, very dry, and so was the pork steak! The gyro felt like it hadn't been freshly cut, but rather just warmed up! The pork steak was also very dry and underseasoned! The side salad was just a run-of-the-mill salad with no flair. It's a shame the quality just wasn't up to scratch!

A very good restaurant, we got a seat spontaneously, quiet, relaxed, attentive staff, delicious food. I recommend a visit and if I'm in the area again I'll definitely stop by again myself.

This Greek keeps his promises. We were greeted in a very friendly manner. The greeting from the kitchen was a good start. Our plate for two would easily be enough for three. Each type of meat had its own flavor, was well fried and tender. The two sauces - Metaxa and sheep's cheese - are also recommended. The only problem for us is that we have to drive 7 hours to get here. 😍

It was super tasty, relaxed atmosphere and super friendly service. Here someone can cook and, above all, they enjoy cooking. 👌

Good food in a nice atmosphere, quiet, music in the background is subtle!

There were two of us with our dog and we felt very comfortable. The parrot was a little restless at first, but after the boss spoke to him he was as pious as a lamb. The food was delicious and plentiful at a normal price for today. We received a greeting from the kitchen bread with tzatziki and two ouzo and before we left again two more. The owners are very nice and gave us tips on what we could do in the beautiful Teklenburger Land. Thank you Klaus and Zita.

There were 11 of us registered for dinner and everyone ordered individually from the large selection in the restaurant. After a reasonable waiting time, the food came to everyone at the same time and was to the satisfaction of all guests in terms of appearance and taste. The young waitresses were quick, competent and polite. Since this is the second time we've experienced this, here's a big compliment!

Nice place, but at peak times it takes 1 hour for the main course to arrive. Card payment is only possible with a cash card and not with Visa or MC as is usual today. If you pay in cash, the waiter silently rounds the tip up. If you want to eat in peace, you should avoid the restaurant, because there is a parrot living in the dining room!

New Year's Eve with a beer breakdown by the service staff. Skirt and blouse wet, evening reorganized (we were passing through). Compensation was unacceptable, no insight. Too bad. The screaming parrot was also annoying.

I have to say that the Greek has unfortunately lost its shine. I used to love being there and really liked it. Unfortunately, it's no longer what it used to be. Ambience is getting old. Tried a burger once and it was bad. Bun was partly black, otherwise good. Fries didn't work at all. I know various chip shops that do it better. Unfortunately it's no longer what it used to be. Bowling alley is okay. Wasn't there recently because of the burger incident.

Always worth a visit. It is cooked with love and as a guest you simply feel at home. It's not without reason that we haven't come back for years.

A nice Greek restaurant with friendly service and good cuisine.

An insult to the palate. “Artemis - Greek food - the Greek for connoisseurs”. A look at the menu is surprising. The house recommendations are Italian-style dishes. Why you have to “top” a coleslaw with an additional dressing still remains a mystery to me. When the main course was brought out I was shocked by the sight. The meat had neither color from the roast nor roasted aromas. It looked like the meat had been seared very briefly and then continued cooking in the microwave. The meat was completely unseasoned. Even the salt and pepper shakers provided on the table couldn't help anymore. A Bifteki was ordered filled. The filling was a piece of tomato, feta and peppers. They didn't bother to cut the filling into small pieces and add parsley to it. By now everyone should know that unnecessary decorations with an orange and a piece of melon should not be added to a dish. So overall, someone there clearly missed their job.

Considered a good restaurant, we first went there for bowling, then we ate, most were happy with the food, unfortunately my dish got cold quickly because the plates weren't preheated, salad and cold dishes were still ok, but a cold gyro or pork steak I don't like it after all, it's a shame, for the price of €18.50 I can expect something like that not to happen!

We came here quite early on a Friday evening without a reservation and ordered beef liver (with fried potatoes instead of the designated rice) and the Artemis plate. The beef liver was very tender and tasty, although we were later surprised when we saw the bill that we had to pay an additional €2 for the fried potatoes. We had actually canceled the rice that came with it. The Artemis plate consisted of a pork medallion, two small lamb fillets and a small but thick beef steak and tzatziki. Both dishes were accompanied by a lavish salad. Everything was error-free, but nothing special. As a starter we had very tasty filled dumplings and gratinated farmer's bread with garlic. This was extremely powerful, after which you were actually already full. Drinks include a non-alcoholic Hefeweizen and an apple spritzer. The atmosphere is great, you feel comfortable. The one new waitress was a bit inexperienced (the apple spritzer from the bottle wasn't opened and poured), but that'll work out. All of the staff were very friendly and unobtrusive. In total we spent a little over €60 on it, which is quite okay.

This restaurant is absolutely top class👍👍👍. The service and operation is great. The staff is friendly, helpful and if you need to improvise, there is no hesitation💪😊. The cuisine offers a selection that goes far beyond the well-known Greek dishes. We have already tried a lot of the dishes on the menu and are always impressed by the taste and the attention to detail when preparing the dishes. We give you full marks here👍👍.

Can't understand the positive reviews. The service was unprofessional, the salad was mostly not freshly prepared, the fries were the worst we have ever been served in a restaurant, and we had to wait well over an hour for our food, even though not all the tables were occupied on Saturday.

Actually I was always satisfied, but the last two orders (out of home) were a disaster!! The tzatziki was totally watery and sour! The meat was tough and tasted strange. Either there is someone new in the kitchen who doesn't feel like it or has no idea what was going on! I liked the gyro plate even better in the chip shop in Ladbergen! So for the money go to Rhodes Restaurant next time! I'm shocked

Griechisches Restaurant mit sehr angenehmem Ambiente und überwiegend sehr freundlichem Personal. Neben den üblichen griechischen Speisen sind hier auch diverse Burger und Schnitzel im Angebot. Alles immer sehr lecker. Etwas störend, aber für Kinder auch spannend sind die beiden Papageien, die hier in einer Voliere gehalten werden. Die krächzen schon mal zwischendurch auch etwas lauter, sind aber nett anzusehen. Die vier Kegelbahnen sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen und könnten eine Renovierung vertragen. Hier hat das Ambiente dann etwas nachgelassen, aber für einen netten Kegelabend allemal ausreichend. Die Parksituation vor dem Haus ist schon mal etwas schwierig, wenn das Besucheraufkommen zu den üblichen Stoßzeiten etwas höher ist. Da muss man dann einen möglichen Ausweichparkplatz suchen.

Ein typisches Restaurant wie man einen Griechen kennt. Sehr leckeres Essen, Personal wirklich zuvorkommend und nett. 4 Kegelbahnen sind in dem unscheinbar kleinen Restaurant. Das Ambiente ist im Restaurant selbst sehr schön. Ambiente der Kegelbahnen könnte moderner sein... Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Feier gehabt, kommen gerne wieder. Danke

Heute waren wir das erste Mal im Artemis. Das war der Knaller. Sowohl die Gyrosvariationen als auch das Hähnchenfleisch in Metaxasauce waren einfach ein Gedicht. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis passt absolut. Überaus freundliche Mitarbeiter und ein gemütliches Ambiente runden den Gesamteindruck ab. Hier kommen wir gerne wieder und werden es auch weiterempfehlen. 😊👍

Mindestens 5 Sterne! Wir haben dort einen super schönen Abend verbracht! Das Essen war hervorragend und das Restaurant ist nur weiterzuempfehlen! Die Familie steht mit Herz und Seele dahinter und das schmeckt man auch! Ganz liebe Grüße und bis zum nächsten Mal!

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant, mit leckeren griechischen Spezialitäten, zur Vorspeise gibt es Brot mit Soße und zwei eiskalte uzos aufs Haus. Wir waren nach einer Wanderung im teuto dort um die Kraftreserven wieder zu füllen. Weiterhin konnte man in Laufentfernung dass auto laden, sehr praktisch!

Niestety nie próbowałem jedzenia, ale miła obsługa, świetne piwo i bardzo ładna restauracja. Panie z obsługi mówią również w języku polskim 😃😃

Hier habe ich 2x Gyros mit Metaxasauce und Käse überbacken. Hierzu gibt es noch Pommes, Tzatziki und einen Salat. Würde ich immer wieder bestellen vielen Dank es war sehr lecker Danke

Großes Restaurant mit leckerem Essen. Es wurde SEHR viel Wert auf Sonderwünsche gelegt. Danke nochmal. Dass das Restaurant an der Hauptstraße liegt und draußen sitzen daher nur "semi" ist, dafür kann ich keinen Stern abziehen.

Essen war total lecker habe mein Gericht bisschen geändert was ich haben wollte und es wurde gemacht ohne Probleme der Service war sehr nett und lustig drauf was mir sehr gefallen hat werde auf alle fälle wieder mal mit meine Frau dort hinfahren

Das Lokal wirkt im ersten Moment etwas altbacken, ist aber urig und gemütlich. Das essen war sehr gut. Reichlich, mit frischen Zutaten und modern angerichtet Sollten wir noch mal in Lotte Urlaub machen, kommen wir sehr gerne noch mal vorbei. Die Bedienung war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.

Mega lecker, nicht nur das Essen, sondern auch der Ouzo! Leckeres Brot mit Knoblauchdip als Vorspeise, Ambiente schön, Personal super freundlich. Dazu nicht zu teuer - wir kommen gerne wieder :)

Für mich war die Sonderkarte direkt am Tisch sehr interessant. Ich hatte den "griechischen" Burger Artemis. Eine empfehlenswerte Erfahrung, wenn man es mit dem griechischen nicht ganz so ernst nimmt und gerne etwas aus beiden Welten (Burger und Gyros) genießen möchte. Auch das entsprechende Schnitzel auf der Karte sah sehr gut aus.

Hier gibt es das beste Gyros der Stadt und für alle Berliner, dass hier hat nichts mit dem Schmuddel Artemis in Berlin zu tun. 👍
