We ended up in this restaurant based on the voucher book. We said this before paying, but it was not accepted for flimsy reasons, and if you canceled you would have to pay twice to the tax office. We got the food after 1 1/2 hours, tables that came after us were already ready, probably regular guests. My girlfriend ordered a souflaki plate, a small skewer with some rice, definitely too expensive for 18 euros. The appetizer we ordered was forgotten. The dessert also had strawberries instead of raspberries etc. in the ice cream. The boss was unfriendly and arrogant. The waiter was super friendly and embarrassed by his boss' behavior. Another no go was to shout at your staff in front of guests... and you didn't have to understand the language. Never again in this restaurant. It's a shame because it was great with the previous owner

We (6 adults) ended up in this restaurant for the first time today because of the voucher book. The drinks came pretty quickly, which unfortunately cannot be said about the food. 3 tables that came after us received their food earlier than us. About 1 hour for the starter and another half hour later the main courses arrived. I had a Crete plate for around €17, which was definitely too expensive for the portion that came. 4 of us ordered dessert, well what can I say, 2 of them weren't what we ordered. Stracciatella cups with eggnog became vanilla ice cream with nothing and hot raspberry ice cream became ice cream with strawberries. When I paid, the hammer came. We said we have 3 coupon books. The boss then explained to us that we should have said this earlier because he can no longer accept the vouchers. He also explained to us that he cannot cancel the invoice because otherwise he would have to pay the tax office twice. To top it all off, he told us that he would cancel our desserts and that we would get them for free. Ah yes. You can cancel the dessert and you don't have to pay, but that's not possible for the main course?! funny! We then also paid for the desserts. He then said that he would accept the vouchers the next time we came. Conclusion: Once and never again. The boss could learn a lesson from his employees when it comes to friendliness.

Unfortunately, the quality has declined since the change of tenant. The order was taken late and the overall impression was a bit disorganized. The food was quite ok, sometimes it could have been a little warmer.

It used to be better, but unfortunately it has deteriorated recently! Price performance is no longer okay for me! Ambiance is now getting old!

As always, happy with everything, have been regular guests for over 10 years and have nothing to complain about. Service left a lot to be desired, we were ignored the whole evening, my companion didn't have anything to drink for over an hour and wasn't even asked if he wanted anything, the food arrived relatively cold after 45 minutes. When I paid, I voiced my criticism but was met with disinterest because people seem to prefer standing outside smoking instead of serving customers.

Those were the days when the former boss Christos was still there. And Nico had everything under control. Unfortunately, this is history. The food was richer & better at that time

We had different dishes. All portions were very generous and we could hardly finish it. One star deducted because we waited over an hour for our food.

We ordered food there to take home... When we got home, it was a big horror. The salad didn't taste like anything, no dressing, nothing at all...well, you can still accept that, I thought. My son had fries with calamari...the fries were all undercooked, half raw and cold...absolutely disgusting There was a large piece of Zewa mixed into his salad...that was absolutely amazing...I've never experienced anything like that in my life. I had gyros with metaxa sauce and fried potatoes...I only ate 5 bites of it because the meat had a strange aftertaste and then I finally forgot about the food. Conclusion: I have never had such absolutely bad food served with Zewa.

SUPER DELICIOUS - GREAT SERVICE - EXCELLENT AMBIENCE As a native of Nuremberg who was visiting Osterhofen, I went to the Aphrodite restaurant with my family. It was a pleasure. I like to eat dolmadakia as an appetizer. I've never found them as tasty as they are here. The sauce alone in which the stuffed grape leaves lay was a dream. But the dishes presented were all perfect, it couldn't be better. The fish platter in particular is the main prize. The very friendly service staff should also be highlighted. The Amphrodite is a place to feel good and enjoy. When I'm in Osterhofen again (hopefully soon), this Greek restaurant will be my first choice.

Big disappointment compared to its predecessor! Service was not satisfactory, I was there with my family, unfortunately it wasn't particularly child-friendly either, we had to wait too long for the food, we also ordered starters, and then after a while they served us everything at once (starter, salad and main course all at once together) had hardly any space on the table and food was only so-so, very annoying!

Big disappointment, because according to the internet as of June 1st, 2024, the lunch menu was v. Which is currently inside until Saturday. Without any notice on the door, in the dining room or on the internet, when we asked about the lunch menu we were told: “It's no longer available on Saturdays; only v. The. until Fri.! Instead of paying €9, we paid an incredible €17.50 for the same meal (normal price). That was more than annoying!!!!!!!!

Very friendly staff, good food, on-site parking. Actually our favorite Greek :-) Unfortunately I was disappointed today because, according to the homepage, the lunch menu is valid Tuesday to Saturday. When we came on Saturday lunchtime there was only the normal menu. This should urgently be updated on the homepage. Otherwise we would have come during the week. A pity! Paid double the price for the same meal.

Tipped himself if you hadn't said anything. The squid rings are from Lidl. The glasses were dirty, but the most appetizing thing was the squashed flies in the curtains.

So we really enjoyed it there today. We are actually from Munich/Feldkirchen and only visit Osterhofen every now and then. But when we are here, a visit to Aphrodite is a must. The service was excellent and warm. The food was, as always, very good. The medallions are super tender, the fries are exactly as they should be. My glass of rose was really well filled and tasted medium dry. Just the way I like it and ordered it. And it is simply beautifully located in the middle of Osterhofen next to a stream. In my opinion the most beautiful restaurant garden in town. I can't understand the previous bad reviews. Sometimes it may be the fault of the guests if the service and, as a result, the food do not meet the high expectations of a voucher visit. My husband and I will definitely be back. Even without a voucher booklet!

We became aware of this Greek restaurant through the voucher book. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere in the restaurant is not the most modern, but it was neat and clean. The food was brought to the table hot and it was all very good. We had various dishes of pepperoni, onion soup, feta for starters. Gyros, souvlaki, calamari, mixed platters as the main course. The portions were large. Everything went smoothly when paying and the two vouchers were already deducted from the invoice. We'll definitely be back 😊

We came here based on a recommendation. The restaurant is cozy but I have to say that we were neither really satisfied with the service (apart from a single waiter) nor with the food. We had a farmer's souvlaki where the meat was poorly seasoned and overcooked and a Metaxa Gyros that wasn't gratinated with cheese but was swimming in cheese sauce. The side salad was OK. Too much convenience for my opinion. The service was unsatisfactory (except for one waiter) and we didn't really feel welcome.

Ended up here because of the voucher book. So all in all it's a mediocre restaurant. The food was ok, we had grilled pepperoni as a starter, these were nicely served, tasted very good like Knofi, but were much too salty. The main course, gyro calamari and Poseidon plate were so-so. I didn't like the calamari and tasted like stale fat. The gyros tasted like a frozen pan gyrps. The Metaxa sauce from the Poseidon plate only tasted like cream and cheese and was very, very powerful. By the way, the minced meat was meat patties that tasted like they came from a plastic package. All drowned in thick sauce and baked with lots of cheese, you couldn't taste anything from Metaxa. The portions are large, but the quality you get doesn't justify the price you pay. In my opinion, not a good Greek restaurant . The service was nice and quick, but we didn't even ask for another drink. The food came almost too quickly, the starter came after a few minutes and shortly afterwards the main course arrived. We were in the restaurant in about 40 minutes from coming in to leaving. All in all, I would not visit this location again nor would I recommend it to others.

Das, was das Restaurant vor noch einem Jahr war, ist es leider nicht mehr. Die Pommes waren hart und trocken. Der Geschmack des Essens generell nicht mehr so gut, sowie die Qualität vom Fleisch unterirdisch ist. Dafür wurden sie teurer. Schlecht deutsch sprechendes Personal. Natürlich wurde die Qualität der Pommes angesprochen, jedoch wurde in keinster Weise darauf reagiert. Weder von der Rechnung genommen, noch ein Cappuccino aufs Haus. Die guten Kellner von noch vor ein paar Monaten gibt es nicht mehr! Service ist bei 1 von 5 Sternen. Essen 2 Sterne von 5. Wohlfühlfaktor 2 von 5. Was einst unser Stammlokal war, ist es nicht mehr. Oft gingen wir nach dem Spätdienst noch hin. Mittlerweile kann mans echt vergessen! Seit Cristos nicht mehr drinnen ist und auch die Kellner die man immer kannte, ist es nur noch ein schäbiger Laden. Die dürfen an ihrem Service und ihrer Qualität arbeiten, sonst geht der Laden den Bach runter. Wir waren zuletzt an einem Freitag Abend. Die Bude war leer. Für einen Freitag im November. Wirklich beschämend, sollte jedoch zum Nachdenken anregen.

Sehr freundliche, höfliche, professionelle Kellner, die ihr Handwerk als Wirte verstehen! Und zwar alle dort. Egal was mal isst, es ist immer ein Traum. Sie sind bemüht, einen immer Willkommen zu heißen. Man tauscht gern sein Geld hier gegen Nahrungsmittel und Getränke. War nicht das erste Mal und nicht das letzte Mal!

Essen wirklich gut und auch viel👍 Service freundlich und bemüht. Ambiente etwas "verlebt" aber ok. Wir gehn gerne hin, Preis - Leistung ist ok, da beim xy-Teller sowohl ein Salatteller als auch Zsaziki dabei sind (heute nicht mehr überall so....). Lachs auf alle Fälle eine Empfehlung 😉

Das Essen ist wirklich super! Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Punktabzug gibt es leider, da einfach oft etwas vergessen wird, wenn man etwas (zb Trinken) nachbestellt. Das ist tatsächlich nicht nur einmal passiert.

Ist unser absoluter Lieblingsgrieche seit Jahren. Wir nehmen sogar immer extra 75km einfache Strecke in kauf. Absolute Empfehlung.

Essen war wie immer gut. Leider lässt der Service sehr zu wünschen übrig. Hatte ein schmutziges Weinglas mit Lippenstiftrückständen bekommen, welches der Kellner nach meinem Bitten kommentarlos mit einem Bierglas austauschte. Auf eine Entschuldigung habe ich vergebens gewartet. Mein Vater hat statt eines dunklen Weißbiers ein alkoholfreies bekommen. Wir waren öfter da aber dieser Besuch war für uns der Letzte.

Das Essen ist gut. Das Personal sehr nett. Eine Wartezeit von über 1,5 Std bis zur Vorspeise ist allerdings auch für Samstagabend deutlich zu lange.

Warm echt nicht sonderlich begeistert. Bei den einzelnen Gerichten sind keine Allergene aufgelistet (bin Glutenintollerant) und auf Nachfrage bekommt man keine Aussage oder in irgendeiner Form Hilfe. Der Küchenchef ist zwar rausgekommen und meinte er würde beim Zubereiten darauf achten, dass es nicht mit Mehl in Berührung kommt, aber glaube nicht, dass er wirklich wusste, was Gluten ist. Konnte /wollte uns auch keiner sagen, ob und in welchen Gerichten Gluten drin ist. Habe mich nicht aufgenommen gefühlt und mehr so als wäre ich nur ein Problem. Habe auch einige Tage vor unserem Besuch per E-Mail bzgl. Allergene und Gluten angefragt, habe aber keine Antwort bekommen. Das Essen an sich war gut, wer aber auf irgendwas allergisch ist, hat es auf jeden Fall nicht angenehm dort.

Sehr empfehlenswertes griechisches Restaurant. Die angebotenen Speisen sind durchweg alle sehr lecker. Man kann vor Ort essen oder die Speisen mitnehmen. Die Angestellten sind besonders nett. Leider ist das Ambiente nicht unser Geschmack - aber ich empfehle einfach mal selbst vorbeizuschauen - es lohnt sich auf alle Fälle.

Service war eine Katastrophe. Kleine Portion gyros war genauso viel wie ein normales gyros. Man sitzt die ganze zeit mit einem leeren Glas da, wenn man selber nichts sagt. Bestellungen werden vergessen

Im vergleich zum letzten Besuch hat die Qualität nachgelassen . Als Beilage haben wir einen kleinen Salat bekommen - es war wirklich klein ! etwa drei Blätter von Feldsalat , zwei Scheiben Gurke und nicht mal viertel Tomate alles mit paar Spritzer Balsamico verfeinert. Metaxasoße war viel zu dünn und schmeckte auch nicht nach Metaxasoße. Portionen waren eher klein .

Essen war ausgezeichnet! Gibt nichts zu meckern! Bedienung sollte mal nachdenken ob es nicht besser wäre etwas freundlicher zu sein ! Ansonsten war es ok !
