Restaurant ANGELA im Ringhotel Winzerhof in Rauenberg

We had reserved a table at the Winzerhof today for our daughter's first day at school at 1 p.m. Unfortunately, this special day was seriously marred by the service. Even though we had a reservation, we had to wait a long time. The waiter even explained to us that he wasn't actually allowed to assign us a table—that had to be done by someone else, who wasn't there at the time. Eventually, we were seated. Meanwhile, the waitress, who introduced herself as the boss, ran frantically and hysterically through the dining room. When we asked for a recommendation, she simply held out the menu and said, "It says everything there." When we ordered, we initially only wanted to order the children's appetizers and main courses, since we adults hadn't decided yet. However, she insisted on ordering everything together immediately—without any understanding of our request. The drinks were also problematic: A Lillet wasn't available, so instead, I was given a wild fruit drink based on her recommendation. However, this was so strong that I felt dizzy. When I mentioned this, all I got was a rude reply: "I made it myself." Nevertheless, she insisted on leaving the drink instead of offering an alternative. Along with it came an apple spritzer, which was served in a large size instead of the small one we ordered. When my husband asked why we were being treated so rudely, we were even accused of harassing them. In the end, they literally said: "If you don't like it, please leave our house." To be treated like this on such an important day with three children was very disappointing for us. We stopped eating after the appetizers. What's particularly sad is that we will now have very bad memories of this special day. One thing is for sure: We will never return here again.

The Winzerhof restaurant has many advantages: The rooms are divided into separate dining rooms, creating a cozy atmosphere. The server was very attentive and informed us about the daily special. The food arrived very quickly, which speaks volumes about the excellent preparation. My salmon dish was very tasty. I personally found the pasta a bit too soft, but perhaps that's intentional. The prices for the dishes are consistently a bit higher, but still within reason, and you'll be sufficiently filling. The Winzerhof is definitely recommended.

It was super delicious and really nice. A little more expensive, of course, as expected, but definitely worth it.

Today we had lunch with five people at the Winzerhof and were happy: delicious, service, atmosphere. Sure, it has its price, but men also have to do it and women do too.

Winzerhof Stuben are a real gem! Beautifully located, with a wonderful atmosphere that immediately invites you to linger. Everything is very cozy and lovingly furnished - you feel welcome from the first moment. The service was extremely friendly, attentive and warm - exactly as you would expect. The food? Simply excellent! Every course was a delight, with fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned and wonderfully presented. A place to which you would like to return. Absolute recommendation!

We had made reservations for 11 people at Christmas. Due to illness, we were “only” there with 10 people. Already during the main course and during the meal, the person making the reservation was confronted with the chair fee (for the only empty seat at the table) of €30. With only one empty seat at the table and an otherwise completely full restaurant, the sudden opening of the chair fee seemed very strange. So our group at the table lost the desire for a possible dessert, which is why the dessert menu was unfortunately politely rejected. Self-imposed house rules or not, in a restaurant of your stature it would certainly have been appropriate to show a little more tact. The food was nonetheless good, but unfortunately we probably won't be back any time soon due to the promotion mentioned.

We celebrated a big birthday here. The food was extremely good in quality and quantity. Polite and nice conditions.

We were invited there for a birthday. Due to the number of people we had an extra room at the back of the restaurant. The service was very courteous and greeted everyone personally with a glass of champagne. When serving the individual courses, the children were taken into consideration and were served first. In addition, the previously discussed wishes of vegetarians and gluten-free eaters were addressed and asked for again and then served in a targeted manner. Despite the large group size, all courses were served quickly and at the same time. The host ordered a classic buffet with schnitzel, spaetzle and other regional dishes. My wife's vegetarian dish was particularly noteworthy. She was very enthusiastic about the composition and especially the size of the dish. But there were no complaints about the taste of the buffet either; on the contrary, it met expectations. Based on the last visit and also the experiences from other visits, this restaurant can be recommended without reservation.

A restaurant that is directly attached to the hotel, but can also be visited independently! Eating there is perfect - very tasty - with a constantly changing menu! The staff is very friendly and always very informative with the daily additional dishes! The rooms are very clean and always beautifully decorated! 5 stars that I'm happy to give!

Very tasty food and very nice staff

I went here as a date with my girlfriend. Had the lamb chop and the schnitzel. If you want something upscale with top service but also want to be full from the food, this is the place for you. Very polite waiter. Keep it up

We were here again for dinner after many years. Been a dream. All the dishes we had were very tasty. Plus an appetizer, fantastic.

A really nice atmosphere and excellent service awaited us here. The staff was very friendly and hard-working, the restaurant was full of guests with various requests, but that didn't stop the smiles and a few nice words. We had a good selection of dishes (including seasonal specialties) and a large selection of wine to choose from. The staff has very good knowledge and can therefore recommend which food goes well with which wine. Everything convinced us. We'll definitely be back!

Great place serving authentic german dishes that a tasteful and neatly put together. The service is very friendly and accommodating. Good indoor and outdoor seating makes for a comfortable setting. Dog friendly for the outside area and serving some good local wines.

A very special fall height! After we had already had a very good meal at the Winzerhof Stuben on another occasion, we were delighted to be invited to the Winzerhof for our birthday. What awaited us could be called funny if it weren't for the bill that our hosts had to pay. At first we received a very cold welcome and were sent to the rooms without a greeting. Then the drinks took a long time to arrive; an elderberry spritzer was only possible on the third attempt. However, the assistant did her best and our waitress also tried her best. However, we have no idea why the staff were under so much stress. At least it wasn't busy. To eat the food, the boss appeared, walked around the table, closed the windows, which were wide open due to the heat, visibly annoyed, ignored the knocked-over decorative items on the window sill, as well as our hosts' request that the windows remain open. This was followed by a brief reference to the daily menu, my husband made a small joke, so that the invited party fell silent and one after the other announced their meal wishes like intimidated first graders. When the food was served we were very surprised. Because the children were served carelessly and very unevenly prepared schnitzel with French fries, which Hans luckily even served with ketchup or mayonnaise. My dish, which definitely made me want sophisticated regional home cooking on the menu, turned out to be over-seasoned and very darkly fried. Why didn't I make my displeasure clear on site? Firstly, in order not to offend my hosts, who care very much about satisfied guests; Secondly, the service staff were already under pressure without my intervention. Thirdly, the boss did not give us the impression that she was concerned about our well-being. YOLO - We had a great time on the drive home, because our host doesn't have cloth napkins, but it tastes home-style, unpretentious and people are happy to tip... It's unlikely that that was the case this time at the Winzerhof

Great atmosphere on the beautiful terrace. Ms. Bock served us excellently, very attentive service! Thanks again. Main courses are delicious, regional and down-to-earth, but with that certain “extra”. Great selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. The homemade ice cream is a great ending! As a native of Rauenberg, I actually go there far too rarely. Gladly again soon ☺️❤️

A down-to-earth inn with very good regional cuisine. The food is tasty, the portions are filling, and the service is attentive and friendly. The proximity to the A6 is perfect for a lunch break.

Food, service... Everything is perfect

We were a group and the meat eaters were happy. The vegetarian dishes still have a lot of room for improvement. The vegetables fried to death and very greasy. Schupfnudel with fried brokoli and cabbage. It wasn't on the index but rather king oyster mushrooms that you could look for with a magnifying glass. The fried onions and crackers in the soup also tasted unpleasantly of frying fat. Unfortunately the salad was a bit limp. The service from the two gentlemen also needs improvement because they were forgetful and snippy and unwilling to respect the guest's wishes. The cheese spaetzle was only ordered after clear words. We've been eating these, even if they're not always on the menu, in this restaurant for four decades. It's no big deal for a chef when melted spaetzle is on the menu anyway. The restaurant was very well attended and I hope that the decades of good quality will not suffer due to the large number of visitors! Otherwise we felt very comfortable.

Long wait at the entrance and until we were served. The service staff bickered in front of the guests. The food was quite good, but unfortunately nothing special for the price. There was a dominant ingredient in each dish that wasn't listed. It smelled strongly of a dishwasher, especially at the end.

Sehr angenehmes Ambiente. Gute Auswahl von Speisen und Weinen. Mir fehlte beim Rostbraten eine Gemüsebeilage. Das Fleisch war optimal, die Spätzle auch. Die beigefügten Maultaschen waren schon etwas trocken. Wären auch nicht notwendig gewesen. Aber etwas Salat oder Gemüse würde das Gericht runder machen. Insgesamt 5 Punkte...

Ihre regionale Küche ist eine Fusion aus zeitgenössischer und moderner Anpassung an jede Jahreszeit und umfasst saisonales Gemüse, das Fleisch, Fisch, Geflügel und Wild begleitet. Oder kann als Hauptgericht für diejenigen gegessen werden, die ein vegetarisches oder veganes Essen bevorzugen. Sogar das bescheidene Schnitzel ist zart und lecker. Their regional cuisine is a fusion of contemporary and modern adapting to every season, incorporates seasonal vegetables acommpanying meat, fish poultry and game. Or can be eaten as the main dish for those who prefer a vegetarian or vegan dining. Even the humble schnitzel is tender and tasty. Their salads are excellent with light flavorful vinaigrettes that enhanced the taste. Al enhanced by the beautiful surroundings when able to enjoy outside dining.

Sehr lecker, freundlicher und dezent zurückhaltender Service. Preise leicht gehobenes Niveau, entspricht aber definitiv der Qualität der Gerichte. Ausreichend Freiraum am Tisch, nicht zu eng gestellt. Parkplätze ausreichend vorhanden (kostenlos).

Einige Teile des Angebots sind gut bis sehr gut. Aber es gibt leider auch viel Schatten. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht. Die Seniorchefin lebt vor, wie man Kunden nicht behandelt. Das Angebot aus Sicht des Kunden zu sehen ist ihr nicht möglich. Auch ein anderes Paar, das das Restaurant besuchte, wurde desinformiert anstatt betreut. Man bezahlt Spitzenpreise und sitzt dann im Billiglokal (man bestellt die Winzerhofstuben und bekommt die Winzerstube), darf sich dann teilweise den Wein selber einschenken (Preis: Faktor 3-4!!! auf Internetpreise). Die Speisen waren teilweise lauwarm und durchschnittlich, teilweise auch gut bis sehr gut. Ein Teil der Bestellung kam erst nach Reklamation. Fazit: Prinzipiell akzeptabel, aber für das besondere Erlebnis, passend zu den Preisen, wird es für manche Kunden enttäuschend sein. Es ist erstaunlich wie viele positiven Bewertungen es gibt.

Ein großer Hotel-Gasthof mit sehr schönem Ambiente und einer herrlichen überdachten Terrasse, so dass man im Sommer auch bei wechselhaftem Wetter bedenkenlos im Freien speisen kann. Das Essen war vorzüglich und die Portionen reichlich. Als Tipp für Senioren oder bei kleinem Hunger: man bekommt auch halbe Portionen. Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Was die Preisgestaltung anbelangt: für die gebotene Qualität isst und trinkt man hier preisgünstig. Eine absolute Empfehlung.

Sind kurzfristig eigentlich nur auf ein Gläschen Wein hin geradelt. Nachher war es dann doch ein Glas mehr und dazu noch ein paar Kleinigkeiten zum Essen 😉 Obwohl es mehr als voll war sind alle mega freundlich und entspannt gewesen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Super Service, keine Beanstandungen

Das Essen war sehr gut, der Preis gerechtfertigt und das Ambiente auf der Terrasse schön. Das Einzige, was den Besuch etwas getrübt war eine Fliegeninvasion, als wir das Essen serviert bekommen haben.
