We had a great meal here for a good price, more than enough, and above all, delicious! It was a weekday, so very quiet. Unfortunately, there was no view.

We were there for dinner. The food was delicious and we'd be happy to come back.

My husband and I ate dinner at the restaurant twice during our lakeside vacation. The service was very friendly, and we immediately felt very welcome. The food was also truly delicious, and the prices were absolutely reasonable. We thoroughly enjoyed it. We didn't have to wait long for either the drinks or the food; it was served very quickly :-) We can highly recommend the restaurant.

We visited the restaurant on our second-to-last day of camping. The food was very good, and the portions were just right. 😊👍 The friendly, approachable chef even came out of the kitchen and asked about his guests' well-being. Hospitality is a top priority here. The decor is very nice and cozy. They also have a suckling pig day, fresh from the grill 😊 For us, the lakeside restaurant is a MUST on our next vacation!! 😊 Many thanks to the entire team. PS: Unfortunately, I forgot the main course because I was so hungry...😂😅 They had cabbage rolls, and they were amazing 🤤

True yesterday everything was great there except we had to wait over 15 minutes until we were served but otherwise everything was good

We were there with seven people, one toddler, and four dogs. We received a warm welcome and sat outside in a covered beer garden. Everything was very cozy. Everyone enjoyed the food, and the prices were reasonable. There's also a small sand play area with a seesaw and swings. All in all, we were very satisfied and can recommend it. After dinner, we took a walk around the lake.

We went to the restaurant for lunch. The service was excellent, we didn't have to wait long for the food, and it was plentiful and delicious.

We had reserved a table for a confirmation ceremony. When we arrived, a beer garden table was set out for us, with no decorations or tablecloths. Despite complaining to the manager, we were rudely turned away. Even though we had mentioned that we had a dog with us, we were seated in the entrance area, where people kept walking past the table. The dog's barking led to complaints from other people, which the manager didn't care about. For eight people, there was only one menu on a piece of paper—drinks didn't arrive until after the meal. The food was halfway decent, the lettuce was brown and only roughly separated from the tough stalks. Never again! What a shame! The location was good and the staff were very helpful, but the manager was abysmal, and the food was at best average and the prices were high.

On June 14, as a guest at the Bayerwald Resort campsite, I walked to the lakeside restaurant for dinner. The waitress initially told me that only drinks could be served due to a wedding party. That was a bit disappointing at first, but understandable. I then ordered a wheat beer and enjoyed it in peace. When I wanted to order a second beer, I was surprised: The very friendly waitress informed me that I could order something to eat after all. She was really flexible and accommodating! The food I received was delicious; it's great to see how the team here strives to satisfy every guest, even at a large event like a wedding. Overall, a very positive experience and a clear recommendation for the lakeside restaurant, even if you just drop in spontaneously!

Very friendly. The order is taken very quickly. The food is ready quickly. The food is very tasty, the portions are generous, and the price is very reasonable. I can only give it 5 stars. I am very satisfied. I have been there many times, even though I'm from North Rhine-Westphalia. But I've always been satisfied. I can only recommend it. I'm looking forward to the next time.

We had lunch, stayed overnight, and had breakfast there. We received a friendly welcome, and the food was delicious and freshly prepared. The room was spacious, with comfortable beds. The location on the lake is wonderful. Everything was perfect! Highly recommended.

Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday while passing through. We didn't have a reservation, which wasn't a problem. The service was very, very friendly. I had a delicious chicken breast salad.

Absolutely “not” recommended!!!!! We had dinner with 13 people on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. It took a while until one of the ladies went to the table to pick up the drinks. Then it took some time until we could order the food. Warm food continuously until 8 p.m. After asking how long it would be open for, the answer came, actually until 11 p.m. but today only until 10 p.m. because some groups are coming tomorrow. The taste of the food was... ok! Gypsy schnitzel was a huge portion compared to the other dishes and very good, as were the fries. Everything else was ok but only lukewarm. In between we had to take care of drinks ourselves because no one came. When asked if there was still ice cream....yes, just right!!!! At 10 p.m. we were cashed in and goodbye... Well, what else can you say about that, catastrophe. Never again.......

After a motorcycle dedication with an exit, we were greeted rather sparsely (the organizer had announced in advance that around 100 motorcycles would be coming.) The beer garden was not opened and you were not allowed to sit in it. Conclusion... if you don't want it, you already have it It's a shame because the event was very well organized.

After a long hike, we stopped at the restaurant by the lake. We were greeted very friendly. We were in the mood for a small snack, not a big lunch. So we were able to order from the small evening menu (from 5 p.m.) at two p.m. That wasn't a problem. The order came quickly and freshly prepared. You could tell that it wasn't a pre-packaged product from a "can". We were treated quickly, courteously and very friendly. We can definitely recommend this restaurant. We were on vacation in the area.

Restaurant in a beautiful location by the lake. Actually more of a tavern than a restaurant (home cooking). I'm not normally a fan of "home cooking" as it's usually heavy on meat and not a lot of vegetables, but the chef really knows what he's doing. All three dishes were very tasty. We are open to special requests for both food and drinks. Very customer friendly. If it's about eating delicious, home-style food, we'll be happy to come back. By the way, the staff was very friendly (although only self-service in the outdoor area) and the prices seemed fair to us. What we were very surprised about: coffee and cake are not on the menu.

The location is really nice. The restaurant, actually, is too. Only the dining room isn't so nice. The food came quickly. Unfortunately, there were two things that really bothered us. The vegetable lasagna was cold, soggy from the salad dressing, and completely mushy. My son got a children's schnitzel. The waitress spilled the fries and ketchup on the plate when she placed it down... then she seriously put the fries back on the plate with her hand. That's unacceptable. Once and never again.

Restaurant by the lake looks very appealing from the outside. The beer garden is definitely nice in summer. The interior could use an update and seems rather cool. We were pleasantly surprised by the food, the schnitzel was really very good.

You are rushed to order (you haven't even sat down yet) and the large hall is rather uncomfortable and loud when it is full. Friendly criticism (when asked whether everything was right!) is not taken into account and is dismissed in an unfriendly way. But the food itself was okay!

We spontaneously decided to go there for lunch on Sunday. Even though everything was full, we got a table after a short wait. Food was good, really recommended. A little tip, you should make a reservation on Sunday.

I had the pike perch fillet and found it very tasty. I actually went there for Brizza, but it wasn't available in the beer garden and there was a party inside. The service was well staffed and always quick. Due to the opening times and location, it was the best option for me during my Freyung vacation

I was back in the restaurant today after years. Since they have one of the best gypsy schnitzels here, I ordered that as always. It tasted like A. and F. No taste, no spice, no spiciness. The potato salad was definitely not homemade! Fries were doughy, not crispy!! The waitress was totally overwhelmed. After eating half the plate because I was hungry, I paid the bill. I later found out that the old owner is no longer there. Can't recommend this place more!!

The food is sumptuous and very tasty. I had the Bavarian sausage salad and the gourmet pan (see pictures). Our great service was incredibly friendly and took a lot of time... special requests from the children were simply accepted. The restaurant is nice and big and quaint, exactly what I was hoping for. The outdoor area is also largely covered. There is also a small playground.

Wonderful outdoor area, some with a roof and the lake as an ambience. The food was very good and a nice portion. The restaurant is worth a visit and a short walk around the lake (approx. 20 minutes). There is a lot to see around the lake!

A nice restaurant by the lake, perfect for a detour on a motorcycle tour. I bought an ice cream sundae that tasted delicious, the service was very friendly, but accidentally deducted €10 from me, which I only noticed afterwards. But I still give it 5 stars, it can happen to anyone.😂

Unfortunately I have to revoke my 5 star rating from last year. The onion roast for over €22 was very flimsy and the sauce wasn't good. The cordon bleu was okay. The service is bottom drawer. There was pollen everywhere, obviously at this time of year, but the fact that you don't even wipe the table even though you asked for it and then gasp stupidly because we used napkins to clean it is incomprehensible to me. If you understood German, we wouldn't have had to have something returned three times. We told the young lady 3 times that we wanted to pay, thank you again for ignoring her. So we'll look for another restaurant.

We went outside for lunch on a Sunday. Luckily we had reserved, otherwise it would have been a bit difficult to get a seat outside. The menu is clear, but everyone should find something for themselves. The staff is very friendly and really has a lot to do as the restaurant has a lot of seating. Only the 20 minute wait for two pieces of cake and a cappuccino was a bit long. But like I said, there was really a lot going on. We found the atmosphere with the many old farm decorations very cozy and appealing. The food was plentiful at very fair prices and tasted delicious. Special requests were also fulfilled. We will definitely come back.

Were there for dinner. Roast onion and loin with garlic. The food came within 5 minutes. At first glance it was nothing special. The onion roast was nothing special. The loin was two schnitzels with ready-made sauce. Unfortunately not edible and almost cold. My husband then had diarrhea half the night. Very disappointed 😞

Liebe s Restorount in Erlauzwiesel bei Waldkirchen - haben heute bei Ihnen ein Event an %igen Natur im Glas Beco Obstwerkstatt durchgeführt. Eure Köstlichkeiten von echtem in der Region gezüchtetes gebratenem Fleisch sowie hausgemachten Nudeln und Spätzle war für uns ein unvergessliches Gaumenschmausen. Wir haben hiermit ein Speiselokal gefunden wo wir gern hinfahren obwohl wir 1/1/2 h entfernt sind.

The restaurant is comfortably furnished at the front, but the partition wall didn't really fit. A foil to match the ambience would make the whole thing more harmonious.
