Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr lecker – man merkt sofort die gute Qualität und die Sorgfalt, mit der die Gerichte zubereitet werden. Das Ambiente ist angenehm, ein Ort, an dem man sich direkt wohlfühlt und gerne etwas länger bleibt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das zuvorkommende und sehr freundliche Personal, das den Besuch rundum angenehm macht und dem Restaurant eine herzliche Atmosphäre verleiht.

Ein wirklich nettes Lokal mit wahnsinnig nettem Personal. Zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Das Essen wirklich gut und große Portionen. Man sitzt, wenn es warm ist, gut im Schatten. Sehr gerne wieder

Ein Steak für 34,- Euro, auf einen kalten Teller zu servieren, damit die Hälfte abgekühlt verspeist werden muss, ist ein schlechter "Steak-House-Witz"! Ich habe den kalten Teller aber mal nicht fotografiert, so wie es die Pommes-Fraktion hier immer und immer wieder in allen Pommes-Positionen mit Begeisterung macht!

Heute Mittag war ich mit meiner Frau dort, jedoch nur bis zum Eingang. Dort stand ein Schild mit dem Inhalt das nur die Debitkarte oder Barzahlung akzeptiert wird, jedoch keinerlei andere Zahlungsmethoden wie Kreditkarten, Google Pay oder ähnlich. Das steht im Widerspruch zu Google Maps wohin ich dann dies auch gemeldet habe. Wir haben dann im El Paso in Oberhausen sehr gut gegessen. Kleiner Nachtrag: Wir sind 5 Ehepaare aus Oberhausen - Klosterhardt und Duisburg - Duissern. Wir treffen uns alle zwei Wochen zu einem Mittagessen und suchen gerade eine Gastronomie die ungefähr in der Mitte liegt. Dieses Restaurant liegt in der Mitte und hat durch die Zahlungsmethoden etwas verpasst.

Ich habe hier während meines Radurlaubs zu Mittag gegessen. Die Mittagskarte war gut und das Essen köstlich. Als Vorspeise gab es eine Suppe gratis. Der Service war sehr angenehm: freundlich und aufmerksam. Wenn dieses Restaurant in meiner Nähe wäre, würde ich viel öfter dort essen.

Was für ein wunderbares kulinarisches Erlebnis! Alles war hervorragend: das Essen, der Service, das Ambiente, die Präsentation und sogar das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Schon bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir von Melissa, der Inhaberin, herzlich empfangen und fühlten uns als Gäste wirklich wertgeschätzt. Sie ist unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und professionell. Das gesamte Personal war ebenso herzlich und bot uns während unseres gesamten Besuchs einen exzellenten Service. Wir begannen mit gegrillter Peperoni, serviert mit einer köstlichen Knoblauchsauce, und einem fantastischen Ziegenkäsegericht mit einer einfach außergewöhnlichen Mangosauce. Als Hauptgang wählte ich Lamm, während mein Partner den Garnelensalat genoss. Jedes Gericht war wunderschön angerichtet, mit viel Liebe zubereitet und absolut köstlich. Das Restaurant selbst ist charmant und bietet einen herrlichen Blick auf den Park, der eine entspannte und angenehme Atmosphäre schafft. Das Geschirr, die Präsentation und die Liebe zum Detail trugen zusätzlich zu diesem besonderen Erlebnis bei. Wir verließen das Restaurant rundum zufrieden und sehr beeindruckt. Es ist selten, dass man ein Lokal findet, in dem Essen, Service, Ambiente und Preis so perfekt harmonieren. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder, und nächstes Mal mache ich unbedingt Fotos, denn dieses Restaurant hat sie wirklich verdient. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Ein sehr gemütliches Restaurant mit wirklich zuvorkommendem und aufmerksamen Personal! Das Essen ist geschmacklich zufriedenstellend und mehr als ausreichend, leider waren sowohl der Fisch als auch die Beilagen nur lauwarm, zum Teil schon kalt auf dem Teller , ebenso die Beilagen und verschiedene Fleischstücke. Daher überlegen wir, dieses Restaurant noch einmal zu besuchen...wir mögen keine kalten Warmspeisen! Schade!

Schöne Lage mit viel Grün und einer angenehm schattigen Terrasse. Die Bestuhlung ist gemütlich und das Ambiente grundsätzlich sehr einladend. Allerdings könnte der Außenbereich an einigen Stellen etwas mehr Pflege vertragen. Die großen Sonnenschirme erfüllen zwar ihren Zweck hervorragend, wirkten aber deutlich verschmutzt. Auf den Schirmen waren Moos und starke Verschmutzungen zu erkennen, sodass sie wesentlich dunkler aussahen, als sie ursprünglich einmal gewesen sein dürften. Das Essen war geschmacklich gut, insbesondere die Saucen haben uns überzeugt. Die Portionen hätten für unseren Geschmack allerdings etwas großzügiger ausfallen können. Ein Gericht hatte leider eine Beilage, die nicht gelungen war. Die Kartoffeln mit Spinat waren sehr wässrig, sodass sich die Flüssigkeit auf dem Teller sammelte und dadurch auch viel Geschmack verloren ging. Als wir darauf freundlich hingewiesen wurden, reagierte die junge Kellnerin sehr professionell, aufmerksam und kundenorientiert. Sie nahm die Rückmeldung ernst und bot sogar einen Kaffee als kleine Entschädigung an. Dafür ein ausdrückliches Lob. Leider wurde dieser positive Eindruck durch einen anderen Mitarbeiter getrübt. Nachdem die Rückmeldung zum Essen gegeben wurde, machte dieser sich hörbar gegenüber Gästen am Nachbartisch darüber lustig. Kritik am Essen kann natürlich vorkommen und sollte professionell aufgenommen werden. Über Gäste zu sprechen oder sie indirekt bloßzustellen, während diese noch am Nebentisch sitzen, ist aus unserer Sicht jedoch unangebracht und hat für unnötig schlechte Stimmung gesorgt. Insgesamt hatten wir einen überwiegend angenehmen Aufenthalt mit gutem Essen und einer sehr engagierten Kellnerin. Mit etwas mehr Pflege im Außenbereich und einem professionelleren Umgang mit Gästefeedback wäre deutlich mehr drin.

also alles in diesen laden ist einfach nur dreckig die mitarbeiter sind unhöflich und können kaum deutsch habe mir spaghetti napoli geholt und es schmeck als würde ich aus einer dose futtern genau so sieht es auch aus nicht emphelenswert der kaff kriegt von mir leider nur 1 stern außerdem benutzen sie als wasser natürlich auch das schlechteste unzwar das gerolsteiner glaube ich würde lieber leitungswasser trinken als so einen suff

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, am 1. April habe ich bei Ihnen im Ruhrpark Essen bestellt und abgeholt. In dem dazugehörigen Beilagensalat befand sich zu meinem großen Entsetzen ein metallischer Fremdkörper, konkret die Mutter einer Schraube. Ein solcher Vorfall stellt nicht nur einen erheblichen Mangel dar, sondern auch ein potenzielles Gesundheitsrisiko. Ich habe Sie daraufhin telefonisch kontaktiert, um den Vorfall zu melden. Leider beschränkte sich Ihre Reaktion lediglich auf eine kurze Entschuldigung, ohne weitere Klärung oder Entgegenkommen. VG

Waren heute mit der Familie hier und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Essen war sehr gut, die Bedienung (Melissa, herzlichen Dank) war sehr aufmerksam und hat uns bestens versorgt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Was für eine familiäre Gemütlichkeit! Klar, es ist kein Sternerestaurant, aber das ist auch gar nicht nötig. Eine kleine, aber sehr gute Auswahl an immer leckeren Speisen wird gepaart mit einer sehr außergewöhnlichen Atmosphäre in einer Art Vintage Stil. Dennoch nicht "alt" oder bieder. Ob eben mal schnell für eine kleine, preiswerte Mahlzeit oder ob ein Festessen mit seinen Mitarbeitern (so wie bei mir), es lohnt sich immer! Das Personal zeigt sich als Gast verbunden und ist stets aufmerksam, selbst wenn das Restaurant überfüllt ist. Perfekt!

Wir kommen schon seit Jahren jedes Jahr zur Weihnachtszeit nach Deutschland. Das ist mit Abstand das beste Restaurant, das wir in den letzten 15 Jahren bei meinen Deutschlandbesuchen besucht haben. Sehr günstige Preise im Vergleich zur hohen Qualität des Essens und dem guten Service. Wenn wir wieder in der Nähe von Deutschland sind, kommen wir ganz sicher wieder! Ein großartiges Restaurant. Mein Sohn hat dort seine Kommunion im mai gefeiert. Wir waren dort mit ca 12 Personen und 4 Kindern. Das Personal war sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend. Sogar der Tisch wurde mit unserer deko fertig gemacht, welche wir einen Tag vorher dorthin gebracht hatten. Das Essen war schnell fertig, frisch, lecker. Preislich völlig in Ordnung. Mit Kindern absolut empfehlenswert, da dort alle sehr Kinder freundlich sind und auch der Ruhrpark mit Spielplätzen und Park direkt zu erreichen ist, sobald man das Restaurant verlässt. Direkt angrenzend. Wirklich empfehlenswert!! :)

Essen ist lecker, Service gut, nur 3 Punkte weil man nur mit EC- Karte bezahlen kann. Also keine Debitkarte, die viele Banken mittlerweile rausgeben. Absolut nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Der nächste Bankautomat ist 30 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Wissen wir jetzt.

Tolles Lokal mit sehr freundlichen Personal. Ambiente sehr gelungen. Im angrenzenden Park kann man anschließend spazieren gehen. Das Essen ist reichhaltig und vom Preis Leistung Verhältnis her absolut zu empfehlen. Parkmöglichkeiten in Lokalnähe eher schwierig.

Lecker Filet Steak Etwas kleiner hätte gereicht Beilagen waren gut und ausreichend Kellner war aufmerksam jedoch nicht aufdringlich Plätze sind bequem mit ausreichend Abstand zum neben Tisch Leider wird nach dem Essen ein Schnaps vom Kellner gebracht und ich musste ihn mehrmals ablehnen In der heutigen Zeit sollte akzeptiert werden dass man keinen Alkohol trinken möchte !

Went out for dinner again. It was delicious once more. The staff is very friendly. In the summer, you can sit on the large terrace and it's wonderful.

The food was okay, arrived fairly quickly, and the prices and portions were reasonable. The waiters were either overwhelmed (even though they weren't full) or uninterested. If you're not quick enough, you don't get new drinks or anything like that... which is a shame.

There were 10 of us there. The food was okay. Some weren't entirely satisfied with the prices they had seen and the portions. The on-site prices were higher than advertised online. This shouldn't be the case. The ambiance was very dim in terms of lighting. That might be fine for a meal for two, but not for a conversation with several people overhead. The waiter could have asked for drinks more often. The beer garden outside made an inviting impression, which certainly has a certain flair at a different time of year with warmer and nicer weather. The food itself was good and rounds out the overall rating with a "good." For a "very good," the portions should be a bit larger, and the salad plates should not be only half-filled.

Friendly service, large terrace with sun protection

I'd say "so-so." The table for 14 people was definitely too cramped for me, and a private party in the middle of the restaurant is something you can enjoy, but you don't have to. Looking at the prices on the menu, I have to say I expected more for the money. A sinewy beef steak with a huge pile of mushy roast potatoes. The lamb was very good, but that was it. The service staff came by every now and then to ask for more drinks, but without much enthusiasm, and orders were rarely complete; something was usually forgotten. The restaurant offers little space for movement, with poorly visible steps. I stumbled trying to hold on and grabbed the tips of the decorative metal grilles, which I found completely pointless and even rather dangerous in that spot. Conclusion: at these prices, more needs to be done.

We absolutely love coming here; the food is always good. We usually have the steak platter, schnitzel, pork fillet, or salmon. You always get bread, salad, or soup first. The service has been very friendly and competent for the past few months. Back then, it was sometimes a bit inconsistent.

We've been enjoying eating at Ruhrpark for a long time. Things have been different for the past 3-4 weeks. Our very nice waitress is no longer there. She always served us very well and entertained us. When we asked questions, she gave us strange, untrue answers. Now we're without her.

We held our daughter's communion here and were very pleased. Soup, salad, meat and vegetable platters were all fantastic and beautifully presented, as always. And last but not least, there was delicious ice cream with whipped cream and hot cherries 🍒... it brought back childhood memories. The service was prompt, and every individual request was met. They put a lot of effort into serving their guests. The food is relatively expensive, and the portions aren't always adequate. The interior is furnished with tables and chairs at the most, which sometimes makes it a bit cramped and noticeably too warm. The terrace is very nice, and the location right next to the Ruhrpark is fantastic.

Very good value for money! Affordable lunch menu! Very friendly service! Good, tasty portions. Side dish changes are no problem! There was nothing to complain about. Tasteful, comfortable atmosphere! We'll be happy to stop by again on our next visit to Oberhausen (we're from Dortmund!)

Had dinner in the Ruhrpark today after a long time. I can't recommend this restaurant more. Rude, even went to the counter to order drinks. The food was burnt, fried potatoes were swimming in fat. Therefore I can't even give it one star.

The best restaurant in the area. Everything is fresh, prepared quickly and very tasty. We even received free soups and salads on the holiday. Very nice and quick service. So it's a must have 💯

Service was good. So definitely don't eat it Should be worked on, the fried potatoes were very fatty. They really tried to get me new ones, but they weren't as bad as before, but still not much better. I had steak with it and it was okay, but I've eaten better... we're really disappointed and will never go there again. Service was really very good so they really made an effort but it doesn't change the fact that the food really wasn't good. So come on, there's really a step up

Restaurant am Ruhrpark – Unfortunately a disappointing development! We were loyal customers at the Restaurant am Ruhrpark for decades and always appreciated the cozy atmosphere and the good food. But unfortunately we have to realize that some things have changed for the worse. First of all, the prices have risen significantly, which in itself would not be unusual if the quality was still good. But unfortunately the exact opposite happened: the quality of the food decreased massively. A striking example are the croquettes, which used to be a highlight - they now come from a different manufacturer and no longer taste as good. In the worst case scenario, the croquettes were even served to us frozen in the middle, which is absolutely unacceptable. Even the cevapcici, which were once tender and spicy, now only consist of cheap pressed meat that no longer corresponds to the original taste at all. Despite multiple tips and the patience we have shown the restaurant over the past few months, nothing has changed. The quality remains at a disappointing level and we have now decided to turn away from this restaurant. There is now a new location nearby that does much better in terms of both price and quality. It's a shame that a restaurant with such a long tradition and loyal customer base loses out in this way. Unfortunately, we can no longer recommend the Restaurant am Ruhrpark.

When we go out to eat, we usually go here. The atmosphere is great, the staff is extremely friendly and the food is always excellent.

Update 24 great liver for lunch with plenty of liver, mixed onions and fried potatoes! 23 years ago I cycled past many times over the years and stopped in for lunch for the first time today! The beer garden was just being prepared for the summer but two tables were already ready! Very nice and friendly service! Plenty of choice for lunch! Good price-performance ratio, I decided on redfish with a great basil sauce! And everything came to the table hot and the fish was fresh and not a frozen product! Also very cozy inside, nice atmosphere, really cozy! See you soon! Then I took the liver with fried potatoes, it looked very good with all the braised onions!

Traditional Balkan restaurant. The service is quick and ordering goes smoothly. A little more creativity with vegetarian dishes would be desirable. The food was very tasty. Unfortunately, we got a table in the winter garden and there was a bit of a draft coming through the windows. Several guests had to eat in jackets. Unfortunately, it was so cold in the restaurant that we won't be visiting the restaurant again until summer.

Anyone who likes quantity instead of class will be satisfied. Nobody actually needs sauces from a bucket. The result was stomach problems. Never again.

We were very happy with the food, the ambience and the service. The food was very tasty and the portion sizes were really good. Great atmosphere, not too loud in the restaurant even though it is busy. We can definitely recommend it and we come back often. It is a bit warm due to the heaters, so you shouldn't dress too thickly. But that is not a negative point.

Unfortunately you are forced to order drinks here!!! Otherwise you will be ostracized!!! The service is outrageous!!!

Were there as part of a birthday party. It was delicious so far. Unfortunately my friend's salmon wasn't cooked through and some of it was still raw inside. The son's iced chocolate turned out to be iced coffee. Still, it had been a nice evening. Went there a second time for a birthday party. This time everything worked well (no fish was ordered this time)

The food was really very good. The restaurant also looks very nice inside. Cozy. However, it was very full on Saturday evening and 2 (or 3?) people in service were simply not enough. The two/three were friendly and in a good mood, but they weren't at our table too often to ask for drinks. It was also incredibly warm in there.

Schnitzel fried for too long, fries were OK, but completely without salt, dressing wasn't my thing. Communication was not optimal. A smile would not have been the minimum from any point of view. Some people seem to like the restaurant, unfortunately it's not for me.

Nothing is homemade here, the cevapcici is more reminiscent of a frikandel, the schnitzel is typically from a bag from the metro! The dip in advance with bread is reminiscent of the good spring quark from the package. The prices are far too high for that. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

It was our first time eating there. We found it mega mega delicious. And we'll definitely be back... We thought the starter soup and salad were so incredibly great... The waitresses were very, very friendly and tried very hard. Thanks for that.

The three of us ate here and found it very tasty. The service came very quickly and was very friendly. We had a seat outside on the terrace which was a good choice given the nice weather. Our food was also very tasty. However, the side salad could have been a little “fresher”. It tasted a bit dried out, as if salads had been prepared in advance so that you could get them out quicker. The ambience inside is divided into two parts. If you come in from the terrace it looks Mediterranean, if you look into the other restaurant area it seems a bit older. I think this is still being renovated as the Mediterranean area and the toilets looked newly renovated. So I think the older part will also get a refresh. Our conclusion from today is that we will definitely come here again because we liked and enjoyed it.

I specially ordered without pork and still get bacon in my meal I had to pay 6 euros extra because I wanted it without pork and still received pieces of bacon. Not even an apology, my old meat was put on the new plate instead of giving me another dish.

The Restaurant am Ruhrpark...I have to admit, I have lived in Alstaden since 1984, a 10-minute walk from the restaurant, but in all these years I have never stopped by there. And it wasn't even planned to stop there on this Saturday 3 weeks ago, as I was actually on foot with my extremely nice companion on the way to the Ruhr dike. Since we could still hear voices and see the light as we walked past the back entrance, the beer garden, we decided at short notice to have a drink there. As a matter of decency, we returned to enter the restaurant through the main entrance. And then the drama began. I have never experienced anything like this anywhere in 48 years. An employee immediately ran towards us and asked "What do you want?", we replied politely and friendly that we would like to have something to drink and whether that was too late (it was around 11 p.m. and there were around 10 guests sitting outside at the table). . She took our order rather reluctantly and we sat down at a table in the beer garden. The waitress brought our drinks and wanted to collect immediately because they were actually already closed, "but because of them," pointing to the other guests, "that's not possible." Up until then it was "just" not very hospitable, but from then on it became...just bold. When my companion, who was also irritated, asked, the employee complained loudly that "they don't want to go there." Our bill was €7.80 for the two drinks, which I wanted to pay €8 due to the non-existent, unfriendly service. The waitress then said "10 euros, OK?" as if she hadn't heard me. I replied "No, 8 euros.", this time a little more firmly.
