Everything was great - would definitely come again!

Great restaurant with incredibly good food. The waitresses are very friendly and accommodating. We sat outside and really enjoyed our visit.

We went there for lunch after our daughter's first day of school. Despite it being busy and the servers having their hands full, we got our food at the same time, and everyone was super friendly. It was delicious, and everyone was very happy with their meal.

We had a very good meal that evening. I would definitely make a reservation; the rustic atmosphere suits the building. The staff is extremely careful to ensure that you don't overstay. We received a reservation confirmation via email from 6:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m., which was fortunate, as we were supposed to have our espresso immediately at 7:15 p.m. because there wasn't much time left. Luckily, I still had the email, and everything was resolved to our satisfaction. A lovely evening.

Very well organized, and all our requests were taken into account. We had previously been to the Hexenturm for lunch at our class reunion (ages 89-92, with wheelchairs and walkers), and we will continue to enjoy it again as often as possible. Krista Jüptner-Ebnet

It was a great dining experience. The environment was antique and the decoration was exquisite. The dishes were cooked to perfection and the saltiness and lightness were excellent. The service was excellent and I will come again.

Unfortunately, the place is a bit lackluster, and the staff is overwhelmed. The chef isn't keeping up with the quality either; my schnitzel was burnt. The potato salad was good, but unfortunately a bit light for the price. Plus points for the fact that kids get free spaetzle with sauce. The gravy, however, tastes strongly of MSG. If they pay their staff a little better, they'll definitely attract more customers.

The food was delicious. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was pleasant and cozy. Highly recommended. You can dine both indoors and outdoors. We sat inside, and the decor is very nice.

We had a very good, down-to-earth meal here, and at a fair price. The young lady's excellent service deserves special mention. It started to rain during our visit, but we were lucky and got the last available table inside. Shortly afterward, the sun shone again, and even though the restaurant was completely full, they prepared a table outside for us, allowing us to switch without any problems. The food arrived quickly and was delicious—we'd be happy to come back.

My husband and I had the two vegan dishes (vegetables in peanut sauce and spinach dumplings with pine butter). Highly recommended! Very efficient service; it was perfect for us. Our friends had the vegetable Maultaschen and the Kässpätzle and were also very satisfied.

We went to eat on our first day of vacation in Germany. The food was quite good, with only one complaint that deducted a star: the crispy chicken in the salad, which was fried with the same amount of salt as the fish, and it was noticeable. The schnitzel was very good, and the Swabian Trilogy dish: Kässpätzle, Krautkrapfen, and Maultasche was also delicious. The waitress was very attentive and friendly, and the place was charming, with a terrace and few people considering the beautiful weather. I recommend it.

Once again, a fantastic stay at the Hexenturm. We'll definitely be back.

The service was really great. Despite being sick, it was very fast, friendly, and well-organized. The food was unfortunately rather mediocre. Some of it was very fatty (fish with potatoes, as well as the gnocchi) and only tasted okay. On the other hand, the pork fillet with wild mushrooms and spaetzle was very good. The ambiance is more like an old inn, which it actually is. It's not really luxurious or anything, to be honest. But it's still historic! We were last here about 30 years ago, and we're back now. Nothing has changed at all about the location. I don't know if the prices are justified, but they're probably not.

We came to the restaurant at the Hexenturm based on a recommendation. It's definitely a good idea to make a reservation in advance. The service staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty, but the main courses were manageable in terms of quantity. Even so, we were still satisfied with a dessert. The dining room is quite loud, which makes it difficult to hold a conversation.

It's always nice to eat there; the selection is plentiful and the menu always features seasonal specials. Reservations are always recommended, as there are usually few tables available at short notice.

We really liked it, we unexpectedly found it on a quiet street, we were attracted by the cozy bustle inside, and we were not mistaken! Cozy, private, the food is delicious!

I got the menu quickly, and it took almost 30 minutes for me to order. Another 30 minutes passed before the food arrived. Waiting almost an hour for food is pretty awful. At least the food was good and plentiful, and the server was friendly; he just could have been a bit more present.

The roast beef with onions is simply great!

The food was a bit tasteless despite the wild mushrooms. A splash of vinegar or more seasoning would have improved the dish. The portion was also a bit small, but with a side salad, it was filling. The dessert was delicious but didn't live up to the description given by the wait staff. Therefore, I'm giving it 3 stars, with room for improvement.

As I sat down, at 8:20 pm, they immediately rush to tell you that the kitchen closes at 9 pm (they had also written it to me via email, when booking). Little flexibility, a bit typical around here unfortunately.

I was there on Whit Monday and the waitress was just not in the mood. And I thought, okay, everyone has a bad day sometimes. When I gave her a good tip and didn't even get a grumpy thank you, coupled with the truly mediocre food (my knuckles are out!), that was enough for me. I often write on Maps, "Someone must have been having a bad day, you have to understand that, because of stress, underpayment, etc." This time, however, it was extreme. They were doing well there, though. Maybe someone got sick. Whatever. I wouldn't go there again.

Very friendly staff, the food is prepared with love and is very good in terms of quality and taste. The portions are generous enough to fill you up. All of this makes for satisfied guests who are happy to return. Keep it up!

As a coeliac I have to eat gluten free: absolutely no problem in this lovely pub restaurant. The servers were knowledeable and able to advise what I could eat and what I should avoid. The food for our entire group was excellent - highly recommended.

Restaurant in a quiet location, with the possibility of eating outside during the warmer months. The internal rooms are also well-kept, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The menu with a typical Swabian imprint, try it. The beer is also excellent and the service is kind. Prices are average.

Very friendly service. The atmosphere was as always. Quite cozy, clean, and tidy. Even though everything has gotten more expensive, I think that at €35 per person, the food should be more than just okay. The quantity didn't match the price, but it was good. I expected more in terms of taste. The meat was dry, and the croquettes were soggy.

Review: Good food with minor service issues – Am Hexenturm, Lech am Landsberg The two of us dined at the restaurant "Am Hexenturm – Weinstube und Restaurant" and enjoyed an evening of excellent cuisine in a stylish, cozy atmosphere. Culinary The food was exquisite – both in terms of taste and presentation. The dishes were freshly prepared, lovingly presented, and reflected the high quality of the cuisine. Particularly noteworthy are the regional influences and the well-curated wine list, which rounded off the culinary experience. Service Unfortunately, the service at our table didn't quite match the quality of the kitchen. The server assigned to us was rarely at our table, resulting in waiting times. Fortunately, another server made a great effort to compensate for this – friendly, attentive, and with an eye for detail. Her efforts significantly improved the overall impression and are to be highly commended. Conclusion A visit is definitely worthwhile for gourmets who value good food and a charming ambiance. The service wasn't consistently consistent in our case, but this was largely compensated for by the dedication of a colleague. We hope for consistently better service on our next visit – because the food was definitely worth it!

Unfortunately a disappointment for my taste. It's not the waitresses' fault. They are friendly, courteous and quick. It's nice to sit outside and the atmosphere is great. My criticism is directed at the kitchen and the process, otherwise things would be different. First I ordered an aperitif. In my opinion this means that you want to enjoy it first and only then get your food. However: The aperitif came from the kitchen together with the greeting. That's still okay. However, the main course arrived without me finishing my aperitif. The waiter and kitchen need to coordinate better. This also means that the food was warmed up. Otherwise it wouldn't have been on my table after a few minutes. It may be old fashioned, but when I go to a restaurant I don't expect warmed up food. It's too expensive for that. And unfortunately it wasn't even really hot yet. When I told the waitress this while clearing up, she immediately responded correctly and offered me an espresso. Only it wasn't hot either. But it wouldn't have helped, because it wasn't a real espresso - as it should be. The food itself was overall so-so. The Maultaschen were small, dry and filled in a way I didn't expect. The cheese spaetzle is okay, but not a spicy cheese either. And this cheese mixture was, in my opinion, extended. The cabbage wrap was okay. The prices would be okay if the rest were also the same. For me it wasn't like that. Another word about payment: you can pay by card, which is not always the case in Germany. But apparently the device does not accept cards from direct banks. Mine didn't work and the waitress said that it was the same with other direct banks. Here you should simply change provider. Then that's just annoying. Not everyone has a second card with them to pay.

Schwerpunkt des Restaurants ist die Schwäbische Küche, deshalb die Schwäbische Trilogie bestellt. Leider enttäuschend: Der Krautkrapfen war ein feste Teigscheibe mit viel Teig und wenig Kraut, die Käsespätzle waren sehr weich und nicht hausgemacht, die Maultasche mit einer geschmacksneutralen Masse gefüllt die überwiegend aus Semmelbrösel bestand.

Been here again, didn't regret it. The cabbage donuts were great. And the non-alcoholic wheat beer is now drinkable. Thanks also for the nice service.

Conclusion: If you are looking for good food, warm service and a unique ambience, you should definitely visit the Hexenturm in Landsberg. A clear recommendation!
