We had lunch on Sunday and had a great time! The place was very busy but they were nice and we were lucky that, just before the kitchen closed, a table became free. The waitress (I think Jasmine) was super kind and recommended some typical dishes that were right for us. we took the typical soup with meat broth and striped pancakes and two meat dishes (beef and pork) all delicious at a very honest price. Advised! Thank you 🤩

Ich war vor 20 Jahren schon mal da und habe das Restaurant jetzt "neu" für uns entdeckt. Wir müssen zwar immer ein wenig Autofahren, um es zu besuchen, aber das ist es definitiv wert. Es stimmt alles. Der Service ist ausgesprochen nett und zuvorkommend, das Essen ausgezeichnet. Und offen gesagt, stimmt auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Leider wissen dies auch andere Gäste und eine Reservierung ist nötig. Spontan würde ich mich nicht "trauen" hinzufahren. Dementsprechend empfiehlt es sich im Vorab zu reservieren. Wobei dies auch ziemlich unkompliziert (sogar am gleichen Tag) via Email geht. Die Antwort kommt sehr zügig und dann steht dem gemütlichen Abendessen nichts mehr im Weg.

Tras llevar varios días comiendo en Alemania y teniendo en cuenta la escasa variedad culinaria que tienen este pequeño y coqueto restaurante fue una agradabilísima sorpresa en la que nos atendieron estupendamente: amabilidad y rapidez y en la que la comida se salía de lo habitual.Una ensalada con fruta exquisita y muy bien aliñada, una crema de calabaza especiada muy rica y que con el frío reconfortó ppr completo y unas albóndigas de espinacas fabulosas.El pollo empanado también muy reseñable.Platos de cantidades grandes.Postres muy ricos.Y precio dentro de lo normal en Alemania.El ambiente es muy cálido y familiar.

All three had roast pork, beautifully prepared - unfortunately without a crust and only lukewarm. As already described in the previous reviews, the dumplings tasted like ready-made dumplings. Red cabbage was ok. Service very nice and accommodating.

The restaurant is a very good one. The food was very tasty. Smoked salmon with rösti was a bit spicy but tasty. The only problem; The restaurant is not barrier-free. A good restaurant like this should actually have at least one simple portable ramp.

Thanks a million for the lovely evening! You made it possible for 8 people to get a table at relatively short notice. Our Italian guests were amazed by the food and atmosphere. Despite the many other guests, great service, so friendly (asked twice if everything was ok). It was nice to show Italians that things can be friendly, tasty and beautiful in Bavaria ;o) Even after the kitchen closed, we got a Kaiserschmarrn, which was also super good. Your duck is always amazing! Thanks again, please stay that way and see you soon!

Rustic, Christmas atmosphere. Very friendly service and fantastic Swabian food (I'm Swabian). Recipes from grandma's times with cakes, potato sausages (Baunzen). Very good onion roast, tender venison goulash and vegetarians were not left out either. Great drinks menu with homemade lemonade creations! And our dogs were also welcomed very nicely. An all around successful birthday meal!!!!

Ambiance is extremely nice and standardized, decorated for Christmas. Food was super tasty, well prepared. The lady in service clearly wasn't in the mood, only said the bare minimum and swore behind the counter. Unfortunately, this greatly diminished the dining experience. Still happy again!

The meat was bad! I mean it tasted like spoiled meat. Steak was from a bad cut of meat with zero fat and burned and with no flavour. Even with reserving a table our table was not cleaned and had to wait 10-15mins to get seated. Food looks good but tastes bad(i mean the meat was spoiled) never going back.

The food was excellent!!! Despite the crowded restaurant, the food came to us quickly and the waitress still had a smile for us. I can't understand other reviews because I eat here often and there have never been any reasons for complaint. Edit: The duck today was fantastic The best "onion roast" I have ever eaten!!!!

An extremely beautiful ambience in the middle of the historic old town of Landsberg. Excellent service and very tasty dishes. My favorite was the deer goulash. I can only recommend it. Keep it up!

The food (onion roast and venison goulash) was excellent, beautifully prepared and very tasty. The service is very friendly, fast and attentive.

A very good meal, steak with homemade croquettes and roast pork with 2 dumplings were great.

An event company (Genuss Marathon) organized the reservation for the restaurant. This was new for the service staff, but did not cause any complications. We had a 3 course menu. Consisting of Maultaschen soup, roast pork with potato dumplings and red cabbage, apple fritters with vanilla ice cream. Beforehand there was a greeting from the kitchen. The beef soup was spicy and went well with the Maultaschen. The portion of roast pork was plentiful, the sauce rich and well seasoned. Roast pork and dumplings tasted excellent, strong and well seasoned, the potato dumplings had a firm consistency and had a potato aroma. The apple fritters were crispy on the outside with caramelized cinnamon sugar and went well with the cold vanilla ice cream. The service staff was super friendly, quick and you felt like you were in good hands with her. All in all a great, successful evening. Only recommended.

I had a rump steak with cognac sauce cooked rare (Englisch). At €36 it tasted just as good as a €150 cut. Fantastic.

At the weekend we had dinner with the whole family, everyone had something different to eat, everyone was extremely satisfied, it was just great what the girls did.

Flexible and very friendly staff. The food was great. Even if you initially think that it could be a little more, in retrospect the portions are actually just right. Super cozy facility. The only “criticism” is that it was a bit loud. But well, it's well received and is therefore well attended. I've been here several times now and will probably stop by again in the future when I'm in the area again.

My husband and I had dinner here. I chose the restaurant because there were really good reviews online. Unfortunately I can't confirm that. My husband had roast pork, dumplings and red cabbage. The roast tasted like it had been warmed up and was only lukewarm. The dumplings tasted like finished goods. The red cabbage was okay and hot too. I had a Swabian trilogy and it consisted of: Kässpätzle, Maultaschen, cabbage donuts with gravy and fried onions. The cabbage donut tasted good and was warm enough, but the rest was just lukewarm. I also complained about that and got my plate back shortly afterwards. I liked the Maultaschen, but the cheese spaetzle was terrible. By warming up a piece of cardboard and the fried onions (I assume they were in the microwave) became tough as leather. I put them aside. The gravy tasted like a finished product. The side salad that I ordered also tasted very strongly of vinegar. A lady at the next table also shared this opinion. I can't explain the good reviews. In any case, we didn't like it. The waitress (a very young girl) tried hard and was very friendly, but not an expert. Because when we paid, the plates "from the kitchen" were still on the table. The rooms are very comfortable and the tables were beautifully set. My tip would be to put about a third of the dishes on the menu, but prepare them fresh.

Everything was great, the service was very attentive and friendly, the food was very tasty, the restaurant was as you would imagine a restaurant in Bavaria. We felt comfortable.

We had dinner there for the first time today with 7 people; we had reserved otherwise we wouldn't have been able to get a seat. The service was very courteous, fast, the drinks were at the table very quickly with a small greeting from the kitchen, the main course was delivered fairly promptly for everyone, top quality and at the end there was a Kaiserschmarrn which was also very good, all in all Top address in Landsberg where you can highly recommend. Awesome experience in a very cozy restaurant. We had appetizers and main dishes as a group of four and got really fresh self-made dishes! Not often you can get nowadays such good quality for that price. Enjoyed also the wonderful friendly service! Can very much recommend for a dinner in Landsberg!

We had planned to go to another restaurant but that was full so ended up here. So happy it turned out that way. The food is delicious. Good choice of traditional German dishes and others I don’t think are traditionally German but executed brilliantly. You also get a free bread basket with spread to start which is a nice touch. I had a pasta dish with chicken and Gorgonzola sauce and it was so tasty. I wish I had had time to go back and eat here again as it was great.

The meat was very good, everything else was unfortunately more for the Hex' Sauces were diluted 1:20 with water…

As tourists for the first time in Landsberg am Lech, we decided on the Hexenturm and were super satisfied. As an information, it is best to reserve in advance as it is very busy. Service young, dynamic and friendly. Great food, something for everyone. Highly recommended, would love to come back.

Gemütliche Atmosphäre eine Straße vom Touristen-Hotspot entfernt. Zwei Top Bedingungen haben persönlich, freundlich und kompetent den vollen Betrieb bestens gerockt. Essen (Schwäbischer Traum für 2 Personen) war lecker und ausreichend mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Absolut empfehlenswert ! DANKE FÜR DEN TOLLEN SERVICE VON EUCH. Gerne wieder !

Average food, wasps everywhere and no one cares to put a simple citronella candle to try and keep them away (anywhere in germany), the waitress was just not made to work with people ..barely spoke, no eye contact, confused...not a great experience

We took some very good and tender strips of meat, the only flaw was the sauce on the potatoes. Discreet service as the waitress only spoke in German.

A fantastic and delicious visit from start to finish! We were there with 6 people. Allgäu steak with Baunzen was flawless and incredibly tasty. Pasta with gorgonzola cream sauce was delicious and creamy. Tafelspitz was also very good. Spaetzle is very good and Swabian Trilogy was also delicious, but the cabbage donuts were a bit spicy. The service lady was nice, funny and attentive. Ambiance is very nice. We have been there several times and will continue to do so more often. The restaurant is one of the best in the Landsberg area.

The Swabian roast was served with delicious fried potatoes upon request, even though these were not on the menu. A great restaurant, very small and nice behind the main street. I had pork fillet with a very tasty chanterelle sauce. When we asked, it wasn't a problem to get some more of the sauce. The food here is really tasty in a very nice atmosphere with super friendly staff.

Unfortunately the food didn't live up to the reviews. A very simple mixed salad without any sophistication. There wasn't any bread that would have to be freshly baked and that would take 10 minutes. A pity

Fett Kaiserschmarrn was one of the best I've ever eaten. The two main courses were also excellently prepared.

Das Essen war nicht mein Geschmack, habe ich auch zum ersten Mal gegessen. Beim Bezahlen in bar, wurde die Bedienung ungehalten und gab mir mein Trinkgeld zurück, da nicht ausreichend. Unangemessenes Verhalten und nie wieder.

Very nice location with nice staff. However, the food wasn't quite my cup of tea. The boiled beef was very tasty - but unfortunately the horseradish sauce was not. I found them boring and hardly tasted any horseradish. In my opinion, simply fresh “horseradish” would be a better choice instead of the sauce. What's great is that kids under 7 can get spaetzle with sauce free of charge.

We were there with 3 children. Excelent local meal, "snitzel" and fries for children. Nice personal. 100% recomended.
