Great view, delicious food and excellent service!

It was a perfect end to our vacation on Lake Constance. Friendly staff and delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere. I enjoyed the regional cuisine, which, in my opinion, was not at all old-fashioned but rather pleasantly contemporary.

Very tasty salads and tender gnocchi, highly recommended!

We went to Häfele by Sommerfeld with our family for dinner and spent a wonderful summer evening on the waterfront terrace. Despite a short notice reservation, we managed to get a table for eight. The service was very attentive, friendly, and humorous. We highly recommend the salmon, char, and burger 🍔; they were all delicious. The waterfront ambiance invites you to linger. The value for money is absolutely excellent. We're happy to award it five stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

You sit right by the water and the marina, which is very nice. The restrooms could be a bit cleaner. The food is a bit overpriced for what you get. For example, five tiny potatoes with a spoonful of spinach served with a large sea bream. The taste was okay. The service was extremely attentive and friendly.

It's peak season, and the men and women have closed the terrace, on Sundays, during the holidays!?!? Anyone who doesn't need to welcome guests can do so without us; there are other restaurants nearby that want to make money. It's a shame, but if you don't want to, you have a choice 😥 Thanks for your quick response. The weather was dry and there would have been guests on the terrace, but motorcyclists are apparently not welcome; their waitress directed us to the terrace, which was temporarily cordoned off. As I said, what a shame. Apparently, there was no cake, and coffee alone wasn't what we were looking for.

I stayed in Immenstaad for one night to watch the Swiss fireworks display. I was given a seat in the covered outdoor area, as requested, without having to wait. I only have one criticism: The staff was so friendly and attentive, and the food so excellent, that I'll have a hard time choosing another restaurant in Immenstaad in the future. I felt comfortable and well looked after.

The food was abysmal. We were a group and were really looking forward to it. The meat and fish were like shoe soles, the vegetables were still half-frozen, and the rice was as hard as pebbles. Furthermore, the service staff was extremely unmotivated. We definitely won't be back and won't recommend it to anyone.

No service in the afternoon. Only at the counter. Okay. But no dessert available, and ordering online is too complicated, and data protection leaves a lot to be desired.

We hosted our wedding dinner here – if we could give more stars, we would! Top-notch food, superb, first-class service, something you'd hardly find these days. And then there's this wonderful ambiance right on the lake! We, along with all our guests, will definitely be back! There's something for every taste, and the cocktails are highly recommended!

It's sad what the restaurant has become. Before the change of management, it was always well to very busy. Now the front area is a self-service area with a mediocre selection, and the tables are only cleared and cleaned sporadically. None of the old staff are there anymore (I'm not surprised; I would switch immediately with this "concept"). Receipts for drinks consumed aren't automatically issued either. Conclusion: Top location, but the concept doesn't meet the needs of the customers. I definitely don't need it anymore.

We came from Greece and were truly impressed. Delicious German cuisine, excellent service and friendly staff. We appreciated the attention to detail, like having separate cutlery for each course. The location is stunning, right by the lake. For a moment, you feel like you’re looking at the sea. A beautiful place with flavors that are absolutely worth it. Highly recommended

We highly recommend this restaurant; we were there with our two children, 4 and 2. Everything was delicious, great quality, good service, and delicious drinks. The bread and oil that come with it are also very good. We highly recommend it.

No, not a recommendation. The star stands for "There are no 0-star ratings." After a bike ride, we sat on the terrace despite the cloudy sky. (Restaurant / not a self-service area) The waitress who approached us ignored us without a word. After being ignored for another 15 minutes, we left the place. They don't seem to have any need to sell food and drinks there.

No, guests on the terrace are not noticed by the staff.

The food was simply outstanding – prepared with great attention to detail, creatively presented, and an absolute delight. Each course was a small work of art. The ambiance is also something very special: stylish, modern, yet cozy. You feel welcome from the very first moment. The service was attentive, warm, and professional – just the right mix. A place where you'll be pampered. We'll definitely be back!

Went here today for two beers, very nice atmosphere, right on the harbor and lake. Service very nice and good. If there is anything negative to say, purely from my personal perspective, it is that I collect wheat glasses and wanted to buy two glasses. One costs €3.5 in the brewery shop. The boss wanted to sell me one for €5, even though he probably got it cheaper than me from the brewery. 🤷‍♂️ Otherwise everything 👍👍👍

Beautiful atmosphere, right on beautiful Lake Constance and a seasonal menu. We tested the lunch menu as well as the regular menu and every dish was really great. Simply delicious. The lovely waitress also responded directly to requests for changes. Staff was very friendly and on the ball. We would love to come back.

Waited an hour, unfortunately no food came; at least not for us. Many plates went past us to other tables, even if these guests came after us. Despite asking, only reassuring words came. We then left the restaurant after being announced. Nobody was interested in that either. After a successful day, a very annoying visit that we will definitely not repeat. We then ended up at the Gasthaus Adler, where we received a very friendly welcome. Delicious food was there after 25 minutes and we didn't have to sleep hungry. PS: Yesterday we were at Heinzler am See. Great service, great food.

We came late around 9pm but they kept the kitchen open for us and we enjoyed a wonderful dinner with seasonal wild garlic sauces and butter. Good choice of local wines. Very nice service. Thank you!

We were there on October 3rd. there at half past midnight 🕧 (i.e. on the night of the 2nd to 3rd) because we had just arrived and had to go for a short walk with the dog. To our surprise, the Häfele was still busy. We weren't turned away, on the contrary: we received a very nice welcome and were served two long drinks, even though according to the opening times on Google the restaurant should have been open since 10:30 p.m. As it turned out, there was a cocktail evening beforehand, which ended up lasting longer. We went home at half past one in the morning 🤪 Thank you @Team Häfele again for the nice start to the night! ☺

We were there for brunch today (Sunday, March 16, 2025). The location is super nice, right next to the marina. Beautiful view of the lake, discreetly but beautifully furnished, and the service is simply incredibly good! Thanks to Jeremiah. Super professional, attentive and polite! The food was excellent and beautifully prepared. All in all, a really nice morning in perfect surroundings. We'd love to come back.

Food was okay. Price wise also okay. Ambience was very nice. The restaurant was modernly spread over two floors. Located directly on the water or on the jetty of Immenstaad. Parking situation in front of the restaurant is difficult, but there are some parking spaces above “in front of the mini roundabout” that are marked on the ground.

Fantastic food in an amazing location on the shore of Lake Constance next to the marina and close to the summer ferry jetty that makes it easy to get to by boat or bus if you're not driving. We had a fantastic welcome from Jerry & Marco who give great service and are so nice and friendly with incredible English. The local wine is superb and the food is so good. Try the local Swabian dishes like the pumpkin soup and venison and you won't be disappointed. Perfect for any celebration, business dinner, romantic meal and al fresco in the summer with fantastic cocktails in the garden. Highly recommended.

We have been going to Immenstaad for many years. This year we were also in Immenstaad in May and of course in the Häfele by Sommerfeld, the most beautiful place in Immenstaad, wonderful view of the lake and the mountains. This year there is a new tenant, Mr. Sommerfeld. We are very enthusiastic about him and his team, very friendly and accommodating. It's a lot of fun with such a great team! The food is outstanding! We also like to just sit on the terrace and drink a delicious beer and enjoy the view. Our dog Moritz also really enjoyed it and was warmly welcomed too. We are looking forward to a stay at the Häfele by Sommerfeld on beautiful Lake Constance soon! Petra, Max and of course Moritz!

Very nice restaurant located right on the water. Service was very great, food was very tasty. The menu is manageable, but everyone will find something to suit their taste. There is also a children's menu. Prices are absolutely fine. Be sure to reserve in advance, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to get a seat.

The restaurant is located at the Immenstaad marina. It has a large terrace with outside seating. Inside there is seating on the ground floor and first floor. In front of the restaurant there is a park with a playground for children. There is regional cuisine, fish, meat, and vegetarian. The order is taken quickly and the drinks are brought to the table promptly. The preparation of the dishes takes some time, but the wait is well worth it. The food is freshly prepared and very attractively garnished. The food tastes very good. The service is very friendly and attentive. The furnishings are modern and very attractive. The sanitary facilities are very clean.

We went to Häfele for lunch today. The location is incredibly beautiful, the service was perfect during our stay and the food was a dream. According to the season, there were pumpkin spaetzle, we had them once as cheese spaetzle and as a side dish with the onion roast. Both outstanding, country house kitchen the way you want it. Everything in a nice atmosphere and nice and attentive service.

We were so looking forward to this evening on August 31, 2024. The menu promised a lot. We were captivated by the high standards that the restaurant sets for itself. I had the fish plate with loup de mer | from the recommendation card Pike perch fillet | Shrimp | herbs | Olive oil | Tossed vegetables | Triplets selected. A great dish when it comes to the plate through culinary craftsmanship. First impression, everything was swimming in oil. On top is the sea bass, hidden underneath are four individual parts of a fish. The fillets had a thick crust and could not be removed from the skin. Dry as straw, absolutely fried to death. When I complained, a new plate was brought. The fish was just as dry. Glassy and juicy is something else. The prawns were also dry and completely tasteless. Some vegetables are still hard. A poor quality fish dish was made from good quality. My wife chose the Viennese veal schnitzel. A partially browned, dry schnitzel was served. Tastes just like breading. No one needs this food. We come from Saarland and are perhaps spoiled by the restaurants in Saarland and nearby France and know what good food tastes like. In order to fulfill your own requirements, you have to practice a lot at Häfele or it's better not to go there.

The location is unbeatable! Unfortunately the food is disappointing. The location is divided into two parts: - The bistro with self-collection has a limited menu, but the food quality is acceptable, although long waiting times can be expected. - Unfortunately, the food inside is pretty bad and absolutely not appropriate for the prices.

Wir hatten uns so auf diesen Abend gefreut. Die Speisekarte versprach viel. Wir ließen uns von dem hohen Anspruch, den sich das Restaurant selbst gibt, einfangen. Ich hatte mir von der Empfehlungskarte den Fischteller mit Loup de mer | Zanderfilet | Garnele | Kräuter | Olivenöl | Schwenkgemüse | Drillinge ausgesucht. Ein tolles Gericht, wenn es dann auch durch kulinarisches Handwerk auf den Teller kommt. Erster Eindruck, alles schwamm in Öl. Obenauf der Wolfsbarsch, darunter versteckt vier Einzelteile eines Fisches. Die Filets wiesen eine dicke Kruste auf und ließen sich nicht von der Haut lösen. Trocken wie Stroh, absolut totgebraten. Auf meine Reklamation hin brachte man einen neuen Teller. Der Fisch war genauso trocken. Glasig und saftig ist was anderes. Die Garnelen ebenfalls trocken und völlig geschmacklos. Gemüse teilweise noch hart. Aus guter Qualität wurde ein schlechtes Fischgericht zubereitet. Meine Frau hatte sich für das Wiener Kalbsschnitzel entschieden. Serviert wurde ein teilweise gebräuntes, trockenes Schnitzes. Geschmack nur nach Panade. Dieses Essen braucht kein Mensch. Wir kommen aus dem Saarland und sind vielleicht durch die Restaurants im nahen Frankreich verwöhnt und wissen wie gutes Essen schmeckt. Um den eigenen Anspruch zu erfüllen muss man beim Häfele noch viel üben oder geht als Gast besser nicht hin.

I don't see why we should come back - the dishes were okay, but "nothing to write home about" and not exactly cheap either, the service needs improvement, and the target group seems to be singles, childless couples and well-off pensioners rather than families.
