Consistently top-quality food and drinks for years. Always very friendly and attentive service. The quality of the food is significantly higher than that of restaurants with similar offerings. The appetizer selection is extensive, and there's something for every taste among the main courses as well. Everything is always fresh, absolutely delicious, and the portions, especially when combined with an appetizer, are perfectly adequate even if you're quite hungry. The ambiance is truly lovely and relaxed, and the outdoor area, with its lush greenery, is very pleasant even on hot days.

By far the worst restaurant I've ever experienced. The food was a disgrace: The "schnitzel" consisted of a wafer-thin piece of meat with a thick coating of breadcrumbs, served in cardboard boxes – even though we were eating in. It came with just a few fries and a bland, pre-packaged salad with no dressing. The mayonnaise was spoiled and inedible. As if that weren't bad enough, payment was only possible in cash – card payments were categorically refused. We didn't receive a proper bill either. When paying, there was also an attempt to charge us more than we actually ordered. This restaurant is a disaster in every respect – from the quality of the food to its integrity. Due to their payment practices and the lack of an invoice, I will be reporting this incident to the tax office. Absolutely not recommended!

We've been here several times and were not disappointed. The service was extremely friendly and the food was consistently delicious. We'd love to come back.

Really good food and very attentive and courteous service

We were here for work. The food is really delicious, but unfortunately, we felt a bit neglected when it came to the drinks service. We were left with too much to drink for too long; otherwise, we would have definitely had a bit more. I can't say much about the surroundings; it's right next to the train tracks. I thought it was okay. But I'll definitely come back for a bit, as there are still a few dishes on the menu that I'd like to try. This review will be updated if necessary.

The food is delicious. The outdoor location can be quite noisy at times because there's a bus stop behind the partition.

Es ist sehr teuer und ich hatte danach noch mehr Hunger. Die Speise war ein flacher Teller mit fast nur Joghurt für ca. 16€. Ich konnte meinen Augen nicht trauen. Pide kostet fast 20€, beim Döner gibt es diese für 9€ und der Rest ist noch teurer. Für Reisgerichte Preise bei denen man beim guten Italiener schon ein Steak bekommt. Ich fühle mich abgezockt.

We spontaneously went there today because of the good reviews. We had three different dishes, all of which were beautifully presented and delicious. The Cacic (tzatziki) is exceptionally good. The Aperol is also excellent. Friendly service. The prices are normal and, in my opinion, reasonable for the quality. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Very delicious food. Especially the platter with vegetables, potatoes, grilled tomatoes, and, depending on your preference, beef, lamb, chicken, stuffed vine leaves, or mushrooms. For dessert, we love the yogurt with honey and walnuts, accompanied by a Turkish mocha. The seating in the Old Train Station is also very comfortable.

Were there twice. Interior is nicely designed. On the outside you could at least make an effort. A lot of unkempt looks unloving. Food was good. Can't complain. Service takes too long. 1 service outside, but staff inside sits around bored. Toilets could also use a bit more TLC. Looks very superficially cleaned. Floors are not clean... I'll definitely come back again, but then I'll be sitting indoors again.

Hi, Recently what I eat here. The taste was okay, but there is still room for improvement. I was a bit disappointed with this bread with cheese gratin. Somehow it was just soggy. The service is OK.

We were here on Saturday evening. The food is really tasty, the starter platters are rich and the main courses were also sumptuous. Price-wise it was okay too.

The food is quite good, but not special either! Unfortunately very meat-heavy and there are a lot of good Turkish vegetable dishes missing!

The taste of the dishes was nothing special. The service was too slow and didn't know the numbers that were in front of the dishes on the menu, which led to confusion. I don't need to eat there again.

In my opinion, one of the best Turkish Restaurants in Germany. Great dishes. The Manti is the best! Great service and they are extremely consistent in Quality. Unfortunately I don‘t live in Linden, otherwise I would eat herring more often.

Very nicely decorated restaurant. The dishes were simply phenomenally delicious. The lamb was on point!! The side dishes were great. The vegetables were seasoned very tasty. The onion salad was simply brilliant, even though I'm not an onion fan. My wife's chicken was exactly as it should be. Nice and juicy, not dry. The dessert, yoghurt with honey and sesame/walnuts, was top+++. The service was very courteous, attentive and super friendly. We will definitely come back as soon as possible.

Attractive interior design with a lot of train station atmosphere. Seems very comfortable. The kitchen is good and not too heavy. In the transitional period there is sometimes not enough heating - so dress warmly and then go and have a delicious meal! The service is very good and friendly. Plenty of parking spaces at the house. E-charging station around the corner.

Leckeres Essen, schöner Gastraum und Biergarten (ein Bahnhof eben)

Schönes Lokal mit türkischer Küche. Gutes Essen, angemessene Portionen, Das Lokal befindet sich direkt am Bahnhof. Gelegentlich halten dort auch Züge aus dem Nahverkehr. Das Lokal ist Ebenerdig und auch für Menschen mit Rollator oder Rollstuhlfahrer gut erreichbar. Die Stühle im Gartenbereich sind groß genug für etwas mehr Fülle und bequem zu sitzen. Parkplätze befinden sich genau vor der Tür ( Park&ride)oder öffentliche um die Ecke herum. Wir waren an einem Freitagabend da, der Andrang der Gäste hielt sich in Grenzen aber es waren immer Gäste im Gartenbereich anwesend. Schade war, dass wir bereits um 21.30 Uhr aus dem Lokal gekehrt wurden.

Ich bin begeistert! Seit 13 Jahren lebe ich in Gießen und kannte dieses Lokal gar nicht. Innen total urig, super Service und mega Essen! Absolut zu empfehlen, wir kommen in jeden Fall (öfters) wieder!

Einfach nur hervorragend. Wir waren zum zweite mal in dem Restaurant und haben uns von vorn bis hinten perfekt aufgehoben gefühlt. Sehr leckeres Essen und wirklich liebevoll angerichtet. Auch der Service war perfekt. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend, wir kommen wieder.

Ich war am Wochenende im Restaurant Alter Bahnhof. Sehr nette Personal,gemütliche Atmosfäre und lekeres Essen. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder hier kommen und kann es nur weiterempfehlen.

Manchmal mag ich hier die Bewertungen, so hatten wir heute Abend überlegt essen zu gehen und dank der Bewertung von Christine war die Wahl dann direkt auf den Bahnhof in Linden gefallen. Das im ehemaligen Bahnhofgebäude befindliche Restaurant, direkt am Bahnhof, überzeugt nicht nur durch liebevolles Ambiente (Bahnschienen als Tischbeine oder Zugleuchten), sondern auch durch freundlichen Service und vor allem eine tolle Auswahl an türkischen abwechslungsreichen Gerichten. Als kleinen Auftakt hatten wir eine kalte Vorspeisenplatte "KARIŞIK SOĞUK MEZE", die wir gemeinsam mit warmem Fladenbrot gereicht bekommen haben. Besonders der scharf gewürzte Joghurt, aber auch die Cacik haben es uns angetan und waren ein schöner Auftakt zum Essen. Als Hauptgerichte hatten wir Kizartma (vegetariesch)gefüllte Weinblätter mit wunderbar weichen Auberginen, Zucchini und Kartoffelscheiben und es war überhaupt kein Problem Paprika weg zu lassen. Aber auch die KUZU GÜVEÇ gemeinsam mit Reis konnten mit Kartoffeln, Auberginen und Lammstückchen mich sehr überzeugen. Die Küche und der Service sorgen für einen wunderschönen Abend und für einen guten Geschmack. Vielleicht vermögen es ja die Fotos ein wenig vom guten Eindruck des Abends mitzugeben. Bezahlung ist per EC-Karte oder Bargeld möglich und wenn es etwas wärmer ist, kann auch im Garten sich wunderbar aufgehalten werden. Bisher kannte ich dies eher durch Computerstammtisch, aber auch zu zweit ist hier ein schöner Abend zu verbringen.

Essen hat sehr lange gedauert. Portionen sehr überschaubar. Relativ teuer.

Ich finde es lecker. Auf Sonderwünsche wir eingegangen und das Essen wird mit Sorgfalt zubereitet und serviert. Eine Empfehlung!

Sehr gemütlich, ruhig und zeitgleich auch wie in Vergangenheit, wie in Harry Potter Film, wenn die Züge vorbei fahren. Essen und Trinken sehr gut 👍 ich kann nur weiter empfehlen.

Das Restaurant, das ich besucht habe, verdient definitiv eine 5-Sterne-Bewertung. Die Atmosphäre war sehr angenehm und einladend, das Personal war äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam und das Essen war außergewöhnlich lecker. Das Menü bot eine große Auswahl an köstlichen Gerichten, von Vorspeisen über Hauptspeisen bis hin zu Desserts. Die Zutaten waren frisch und von hoher Qualität und die Präsentation der Gerichte war einfach fantastisch. Ich war besonders von der Kreativität und Originalität der Gerichte beeindruckt. Jeder Bissen war eine Geschmacksexplosion und ich konnte die Sorgfalt und Leidenschaft spüren, die in jedes Gericht gesteckt wurde. Alles in allem war es ein fantastisches Erlebnis und ich kann dieses Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen. Wenn Sie auf der Suche nach exquisitem Essen, gutem Service und einer einladenden Atmosphäre sind, dann ist hier der richtige Ort für Sie.

Suuuper tolles und leckeres Essen. Türkische Speisen im alten Bahnhof von Linden. Die Räume in den alten Gebäude sind liebevoll gestaltet und mit zeitgenössischen Bahnutensilien dekoriert. Die türkischen Speisen ein Genuss zu einem vernünftigen Preis Leistung Verhältnis. Sehr freundlicher Service und wirklich empfehlenswert!

Schön eingerichtetes Lokal. Freundliche Bedienung. Es wurde netterweise auch ein Foto von unserer Gruppe gemacht. Zufahrt etwas schlecht zu finden/sehen - vor allem, wenn es schon dunkel ist. Da am Bahnhof gelegen, hört man halt die vorbeifahrenden Züge.

Zum Glück gibt es hier noch ein richtig türkisches Restaurant mit souveräner freundlicher Bedienung und guter Küche

Ein tolles Restaurant. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr urig - sehr passend eingerichtet, man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an Speisen, das Essen ist frisch und schmeckt hervorragend. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Ich freue mich auf den nächsten Besuch.

Das Essen ist handwerkliche okay bis gut, auf keinen Fall lieblos oder einfallslos. Es sind auch ein paar ausgefallenere Sachen dabei. Geschmacklich hat es mich nicht ganz abgeholt. Preislich in Anbetracht der Portionsgröße absolut nicht zu beanstanden. Die brandheißen Teller sind ungewöhnlich und tatsächlich ziemlich schmerzhaft.

Wir waren heute wieder am Bahnhof in Linden und würden nicht enttäuscht. Alle Speisen waren sehr lecker. Was es alles gab seht ihr auf meinen Bildern.

Die Einrichtung ist originell und nett gestaltet. Der Service ist sehr freundlich. Das Essen schmeckte lecker, war aber im Verhältnis zum Preis zu wenig. Sicher ist es der aktuellen Lage geschuldet, aber trotzdem schade, wenn das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis so gar nicht passt.

Das Essen war lecker, der Service war gut. Die Sitzbänke sind allerdings mehr als in die Jahre gekommen und sollten schnellstens einen neuen Bezug bekommen.

In angenehmer Atmosphäre gute Küche genießen, so war der Plan. Wir waren abends dort, der Biergarten war gut besucht, drinnen saß niemand (unser Eindruck). Die freundliche Bedienung nahm die Bestellung entgegen, vier Vorspeisen und vier Hauptspeisen. Nach gut einer Stunde fragten wir nach dem Verbleib der Vorspeisen. Nach Nachfrage in der Küche: 10 Minuten.... aus denen fast 30 wurden. Dafür waren dann zwei Vorspeisen nur lauwarm. Nach einer weiteren guten halben bis Dreiviertel Stunde kamen dann die Hauptspeisen. Wir waren durch das warten schon fast satt, so dass wir zwei Gerichte mit nach Hause genommen haben. Auf die Wartezeit angesprochen kam vom Chef des Hauses die Aussage, dass es in der Küche Probleme gebe. Ein Hinweis vorher wäre besser gewesen - oder ist das Problem dort normal? Sehr schade.... daher leider nur befriedigend....

Wir waren spontan in das Restaurant eingekehrt nach einem Einkauf in Giessen. Das Restaurant liegt etwas versteckt und Ortsunkundige sollte sich nicht scheuen in die Sackgasse zu fahren :-). Das Ambiente ist sehr nett gemacht und es erwartet einen ein netter und sehr freundlicher Service. Tolle Türkische und ein paar Griechische Gerichte stehen auf der Karte. Gute und endlich mal auch wirklich Türkische Gerichte, sehr gut abgeschmeckt, nicht überwürzt und frisch zubereitet. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, vor allem auch die ruhige Atmosphäre (natürlich fährt auch ab und zu ein Zug vorbei 😎). Auch gut geeignet für kleinere Feiern. Wir kommen jedenfalls wieder 👍
