This is a small but very cozy, bright restaurant, just like home. The waiters were excellent, the drinks and food were excellent, and even a complimentary Greek aperitif (alcoholic drink) was offered to our guests. And even our children got aperitifs in small glasses, non-alcoholic of course. It was very nice and set the mood. I loved everything, thank you, and we were greeted with a smile at the door and immediately shown to a table. In a place like this, you always want to leave a tip, which we did.

Disastrous birthday meal – warm drink, raw meat, zero service! We went here as a family for a birthday dinner and had one of the worst dining experiences ever. At first, everything seemed promising – they even provided a vase for the birthday bouquet, which we thought was nice. But after that, things went rapidly downhill. The wine we ordered was served warm, with the excuse that there were no ice cubes. The same thing happened with the Aperol – also warm and without ice. My meal was the only one that arrived first – just the meat, without any side dishes. It took about 15 minutes for everyone's meals to arrive, and my fries arrived last, when the meat was already cold. After the first few bites, it turned out that a large portion was burnt on the outside and still raw on the inside – absolutely inedible. The dish was returned. Another 15 minutes later – the place was almost empty by then – a new portion arrived. In the meantime, three other family members had already pushed their food aside because it was also extremely bad. The "fresh" portion was no better: almost entirely white bacon, raw meat again, and soggy fries. This is simply unacceptable at a birthday dinner. Even though the chef was present, no attempt was made to talk, no apology was offered, nothing. We've never been treated so poorly or served so poorly. For us, one thing is clear: absolutely not recommended.

We've been customers there for years, enjoyed getting food there, or rather, eating there, but today it was "beyond words!" We had reserved a table, the customer service wasn't particularly busy, and despite the season, the food was poorly prepared. And some of it had to be returned. The service isn't to blame; they just have to cover the chef's fuss!! It's a shame, because the food was fantastic the week before!

The service was friendly and courteous. The food was very tasty. The gyro could have been a bit crispier, but it tasted great. There was even a delicious dessert, ouzo, and a free schnapps for kids.

Unfortunately, the service was poor. We waited 1.5 hours for the food. Then we got the wrong one. The food was average at best. Every other Greek restaurant in Eutin is better.

Today, five of us as a family went to this "restaurant." Even though people came after us, we honestly waited 1.5 hours for our food, while those who came after us got their food before us. According to the waiter himself, who looked like he hadn't slept in at least three days, all the people in groups of two or three get their food before us so that others can follow quickly. The food was okay, but unfortunately, I can't give the service a negative star. When we ordered, the waiter was holding a cellphone-like device that vibrated louder than my nonexistent girlfriend's toy whenever we ordered. Not a recommendation :)

So what's going on? I called the day before yesterday and they said we're not delivering today. Just now I called again and they said we're not delivering today either. Then you shouldn't offer delivery. And if the delivery person is sick, you'll have to find someone to help.

The food, although only the lunch menu, was very good, very filling, and tasty. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful, and a bowl of water for our dog was included with the menu. The restroom was a bit difficult for me, as a wheelchair user with limited mobility, to reach. Nevertheless, it was adequate inside. If you can still walk reasonably well, everything is doable. Overall, our stay was memorable and we would repeat it again at the next opportunity. I definitely recommend it.

Acropolis is and remains simply the best Greek in the area! The food is always delicious, the portions are large and even extra requests are no problem. The price-performance ratio is simply right here. The service is always friendly and courteous. We always like to come back.

The food was very tasty, the service was very nice, the portions were not excessive but absolutely sufficient. The reservation went well BUT you should probably work on not giving the guests the feeling that they have to hurry. We weren't quite seated yet when the question of drinks came up. My husband had just put down the cutlery and the plate had already been cleared away. We felt a bit rushed and therefore didn't ask whether there was dessert on the menu.

After our visit to the beach🏖 in Haffkrug and on the last day of our vacation😔, we wanted to have dinner in a Greek restaurant at the end. We decided on the "Akropolis" in Eutin.😃We were not disappointed and were very satisfied with the service. The Greek ambience convinced us. We felt comfortable and we will definitely come here more often.🍟🥓🥗🍷The food was simply very tasty. A good Greek wine is also a must...🍷Yes mas...A good tip, if you like eating Greek.😀😋

You need time. Waiting 1h20min for food is unacceptable. We were about to pay and leave. Presumably the out-of-house meals were produced first. Considering the price, the dishes are relatively small and clear. The farmer's salad was drowned in vinegar. We will definitely not repeat this visit - what a shame!

Our regular Greek for years and with good reason! You feel welcome every time. No matter whether on site or on the phone - you will always, always, receive a warm welcome! For years the restaurant was located on Voßplatz, then on Weidestraße and now on Lübecker Straße. No matter the location - always top! Even if something isn't perfect - you speak up and a solution will be found! The dishes are always very tasty. You can tell that attention is still paid to quality here. In the many decades that we have been satisfied guests there, we never once had the feeling that the food was not fresh. Requests are taken into account. The quantity of our main course is so large that the two of us can eat it and be full. But you can also make the dish on your own - as long as you want to leave something left for “later” ;) The price-performance is excellent. We have already tested all the other Greek restaurants in and around Eutin - none can hold a candle to Aktopolis! It's not without reason that this restaurant has been around for so many decades. Thank you for the delicious food and the super nice team that always spreads a good mood :)

We wanted to pick up food after the agreed time. Unfortunately it was forgotten and still had to be prepared. We were not informed about this but were told that it would only take a minute. During this time, many dishes were sent from the kitchen to the guests. When we asked the boss about it, he took over and said it was the chef's fault. No hospitality. So I had to write it.

We were there with friends on March 21, 2024 to end our vacation. Never again!!!!Such a disappointment. From the burnt gyros, tough dry meat, sour and disgusting rice and then the unappetizing so-called salad buffet. The first sight we saw when we entered was that there was a huge private toy (plane) on two tables. It must have belonged to the owner...but we can't say for sure. First order of drinks and coffee. We were told that the coffee machine was broken, great. Drinks came quickly. Then we wanted to pay and the waiter asked if we liked it. The four of us said no and also commented on it. I returned all of my food. Should be fillet with mushrooms. It was two thin, tough pieces of meat with an indefinable watery sauce and a baked potato... And then the bill came, I had to pay in full even though I hadn't eaten my food. I didn't want to spoil our last evening together and that's the only reason I didn't make a fuss. Our friends also had to pay the full price despite complaints. No apology or compensation from the owner, we have never experienced anything like that. This restaurant will never see us again!!

Good location, nice service plus a decent portion of food!

Table reserved for 8 people. There was enough space for about 6 people. It smells strongly of drains there. You can smell clearly through the wall at the table in the corner. A starter was forgotten, the backrest on the wall is broken and loose. The food was flawless and delicious. All in all, I wouldn't eat here again.

Flawless!!!! Super nice welcome and service, the food was extremely tasty. I'm really not a fan of fries, but they were absolutely fantastic as a side dish. Price performance really top, 2 people, 2 reasonable main courses, including salad buffet, plenty of ouzo, 2 beers and a dessert for €49, - it couldn't be more... We'd love to come back.

What was offered there was an absolute disgrace. 1 hour wait even though the restaurant was only half full. The food that was then brought was cold. When we complained about this, the friendliness was over. Since we were no longer hungry and gave the food back, we asked for the bill, which came very quickly. And the absolute shame is that we had to pay for a main course in full, but we didn't eat anything. Very disgraceful!!!! We will avoid this location. One star is actually too many

We had dinner here. First the reservation couldn't be found, then the wrong food was brought and finally we waited half an hour for coffee. That's definitely better. The food was okay, except for the Metaxa sauce that was a little too stretched.

Very tasty food. The gyros meat was of very good quality (juicy but crispy). The ambience is nice, including Greek, antique-looking, cut-open vases with glass bottom inserts. The service was quick, the food and drinks came quickly. It worked for us without a reservation, but it could be helpful.

Were there yesterday, we were shown very friendly to our table, everything was great. The starters were really tasty and I can highly recommend the garlic bread. The main course, however, was really not that good. I wanted to treat myself to chicken breast in Metaxa sauce, unfortunately the sauce was really, really bad. The consistency was like water, and the taste was also very poor, unseasoned and bland. The fries that came with it weren't the best either, but I don't think that's a bad thing as long as the rest was good. Therefore only this review. The rest was really ok but the main course really disappointed me.

It is a Greek restaurant as you know it, but the menu also includes vegetarian and pescatarian dishes. The service was friendly, but not quite as attentive as I would have liked, so when I ordered the food I asked them to leave something out that was on the plate and the espresso was ignored. There was more on the house than was necessary for my taste, but my companions also diligently carried my rations, Ken. Price-performance ratio was appropriate. Already recommended if you ignore the small mistakes.

Sehr gutes Essen. Wir waren mit vier Personen hier und von der Vorspeise über den Hauptgang bis zum Dessert alles gut.

Kleiner aber feiner Grieche, Essen sehr schmackhaft , leider kein großer Außenbereich, nur wenige Tische vor dem Restaurant und direkt an der Kreuzung

Tisch bestellt gehabt und nach 45 Minuten gegangen. Wenn kein Tisch für eine Kleingruppe verfügbar ist, darf das gerne frühzeitig kommuniziert werden!

Das Niveau von einem Besuch Anfang dieses Jahres wurde nicht erreicht. Das Essen war nicht wircklich heiß und das Salatbuffet eher bescheiden. Einen Cappuccino nach dem Essen war nicht erhältlich.

Ein durchschnittlicher Grieche in Eutin

Nachdem wir letztes mal ein überaus tolles Essen hatten, war gestern unser Gyros ungenießbar! Ich verstehe nicht wieso man so verbranntes Essen überhaupt raus gibt!? Ich hatte noch lange danach so einen bitteren Geschmack im Mund, das auch das restliche Essen einfach nicht mehr geschmeckt hat! Mega enttäuscht 😞

Jedzenie przypalone i gorzkie, na 4 porcje z Mittagsmenu czekaliśmy ponad 40 minut mimo, że w restauracji było tylko 3 innych klientów. Porcje raczej małe. Ceny przystępne, dużo miejsca, duży parking, możliwość płatności kartą. Właściciel na nasze uwagi co do jedzenia uniósł się i był opryskliwy. NIE polecam!!!

Es war voll an diesem Abend, der Service hat sich wirklich bemüht! Insgesamt fand ich es echt laut im Restaurant! Das Essen war früher mal besser, vielleicht lag es einfach am Tag!

Sehr netter kleiner, gemütlicher Laden mit zwei wirklich sympathischen Eigentümern (wie ich annehme). Essen, wie immer beim Griechen, gut und sehr reichlich. Schönes Highlight... Salat gibt's nicht gereicht, sondern kann sich permanent vom Buffet selber geholt werden.

Sind dort gegen 18:00 ohne Reservierung angekommen, wurden direkt am Eingang freundlich vom Personal empfangen. Trotz einiger Reservierungen bekamen wir einen Tisch und wurden auch prompt am Tisch bedient. Die Preise sind gemessen an der Qualität und Quantität der Speisen absolut in Ordnung. Das Ambiente ist dezent und nicht überladen. Sauberkeit/Hygiene im Gast/Barbereich ist mir nichts negatives aufgefallen. Die Salatbar ist offen, bedeutet nach Bestellung kann man sich dort selbst etwas zusammenstellen. Die Speisen waren sehr lecker und auch optisch schön angerichtet (s. Fotos) Kleiner Wermutstropfen, die Sanitärräume (nicht schmutzig) aber sehr klein, verwinkelt gebaut und einiges an Putzmitteln dort sichtbar gelagert. Da ich allerdings primär zum Essen in ein Restaurant gehe kein Stern Abzug aber erwähnenswert. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Abend in guter Atmosphäre, mit gutem Essen, sehr freundlichem Personal, kann ich vorbehaltlos empfehlen! Der Mittagstisch ist sehr zu empfehlen, Preis ist Top, man kann sich einen Salat vom Buffett nehmen und die Portionen sind sehr ordentlich. Geschmacklich fand ich den Gyros auch gut, daher auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung.
