Delicious food, incredibly friendly service, even though the guys were really stressed...would gladly come again!

We were there for the first time today – and certainly not the last. The menu is huge. The food is delicious. The portions are generous. The "side salad" is a soup bowl full of green salad, carrots, olives, tomatoes, cucumber, and a delicious cocktail sauce. Two meat dishes, two appetizers, and two drinks: under €60. The service was quick and incredibly friendly. There were only two staff members working today due to illness – and the restaurant was packed! Service was fast and relaxed at the table. They always had a friendly word for the customers. The atmosphere was cozy. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and the food! ♥️

Very, very nice Greeks, so what's inside is what it says on the tin. (The last time we were at a pizzeria was run by an Indian)... The two brothers are very welcoming, nice, and friendly, and they show genuine gratitude when tipping, which isn't common practice these days. The food was delicious, very finely seasoned, and there was plenty of it, and the meat was very good quality. I'm not a fan of fries, but here I constantly have to steal some from my husband's plate. The wait was short, and the wine recommendation was also excellent. They are now one of our top 5 in Saarland!

26 years later, I found the same atmosphere, the same level, the three of us had a good time, you won't leave with an empty stomach =)

Lovely ambiance. Very friendly and attentive staff. Great value for money and delicious food that's ready quickly. The staff is also very child-friendly. The kids' ouzo was also very popular. ✌️ So everything was perfect, nothing to complain about. 👌

Absolutely perfect, picturesque and soothing atmosphere, diversity of dishes, refined flavors, fast and polite service. Servers make the effort to speak the language of foreign customers (France in this case) and are not too intrusive during the meal. Parking on the side of the building, free. Close to the border, it is well worth it; I recommend 🥗🍔

Quite old room with old furniture, unclean toilet, no nearby parking space. The food isn't bad but too simple. I ate there because I was invited but sorry for myself I would never go there.

Too much noise, because of an extremely noisy child who was screaming at the top of his lungs. Unfortunately, no one intervened, especially not the parents... What a lack of manners.

I recently had the opportunity to visit the Akropolis restaurant in Lauterbach and would like to share my consistently positive impressions. As soon as I entered the restaurant, I was struck by the pleasant ambiance. Stylishly furnished, well-maintained, and with a touch of traditional Greek atmosphere. The rooms are clean, well-lit, and inviting. The service was extremely friendly, attentive, and professional. The waiters took time for recommendations and were flexible in accommodating special requests. The wait times between ordering and serving were absolutely reasonable. The menu selection is diverse and offers something for every taste, from classic Greek dishes to diverse specialties. The quality of the food was outstanding: freshly prepared, balanced in flavor, and attractively presented. The excellent value for money is particularly noteworthy. The drinks selection was also well-stocked and rounded off the overall experience positively. Overall, I can wholeheartedly recommend the Akropolis restaurant in Geislautern, both for a cozy dinner with an intimate group and for special occasions. In the end it was so good that I started working there as a temp. 5 out of 5 stars.

A great experience! Efficient and super-friendly servers, and the food is good and plentiful. There's a good selection on the menu. All the dishes met our expectations.

We were here for the first time today and we are really impressed. The food was very tasty and plentiful. We had several starters and main courses and enjoyed everything very much. The service was also very friendly and accommodating and also responded to spontaneous requests. We definitely recommend the restaurant and will definitely come back.

We came without a reservation, were greeted very friendly and served quickly. The food is very good and the portions are large. There was a "children's schnapps" as an ouzo alternative for our son, which made him very happy. We found the service to be excellent!!! Despite there being a few guests, the waiting time was short. All in all a successful visit. Thank you!

This is no longer the restaurant before covid.. Damage !!! 😢 Back to Greek this evening. The restaurant has changed tables and chairs, which gives it a little facelift. Hearty meal, good and hot. The improvement is very appreciable.

Fairly basic cuisine, not bad but it lacks finishing, seasoning and presentation. The decor also needs to be refreshed.

The food was 1. way too greasy and 2. it didn't taste very good. The first time I was there and that was also the last time. I had a severe stomach ache while eating it and ended up hanging upside down on the toilet at home. Absolutely no recommendation for this restaurant!

Very pleasant atmosphere, staff very friendly and food was good.

I reserved a table for one person on Saturday for Sunday around 12 p.m., I arrived and the boss placed me at a table for two, so far no problem. Next to me a table for 12 people but a group of 15 people arrives, the boss makes me move so that the group can take their seats. These people booked for 15 but he made me move without asking my opinion. Conclusion with him a customer is not considered like the others, so no tip and I will not come back. In addition, the invoices are more than doubtful. TO FLEE

Personal sehr freundlich, Essen sehr gut und reichhaltig. Wenn man nicht alles essen kann, bekommt man eine Verpackung damit man den Rest mitnehmen kann. Finde ich super dieser Service. Preise für die Qualität angemessen.

Accueil très sympa, personnel faisant des efforts pour parler anglais ou français, très appréciable Cuisine copieuse et goutue et un très bon rapport qualité prix, nous reviendrons. Mention spéciale pour le galaktoboureko, un plaisir en fin de repas ❤️

Wir waren mit unserer Familie zum Weihnachtsessen dort, mit 3 Kindern. Die Mitarbeiter waren top, sogar als einem Kind ein Teller herunterfiel und kaputt ging wurde sehr verständnissvoll und lieb reagiert. Sieht man nicht oft, dafür Danke! Auch auf die Bedürfnisse wurde eingegangen, so bekamen wir auf Nachfrage extra kleine Gabeln für die Kids. Das Essen war super lecker, der Geschmack vom Fleisch hervorragend! Preis/Leistung definitiv top. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt wir kommen sicher wieder, das Restaurant ist ein echter Geheimtipp :)

Leckeres Essen und besonders große Portionen. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr freundlich. Bei den Gerichten gibt es viel Auswahl auf der Karte. Sehr zu empfehlen!!!

Wir haben das 3 Jahr in Folge unsere Weihnachtsfeier hier gefeiert. Essen schmeckt sehr lecker und ist reichlich. Ambiente ist gemütlich und der Service lässt keine Wünsche offen. Einziges Manko, wofür das Restaurant aber nichts kann: Es gibt keine Verbindung zur Außenwelt..... kein Netz/Datennetz ....[kann ja auch ein Vorteil sein, wenn man ruhig essen möchte]

Le meilleur restaurant grec du saarland !!

Le restaurant est dans son jus depuis 1990.Rien n'a changé, ça se dégrade grave, dommage, Je pense qu'il est temps de changer de restaurant grec.

Manque un peu de musique grecque en fond sinon très bien manger et patron super sympa

Ich hatte 5 Lammkoteletts mit wenig Knochen. Sehr fein und ich war danach auch satt. Meine Frau hatte Bifteki, war eher vom Aussehen ein Rahmschnitzel. Das war nichts besonderes und hatte kein Geschmack. Die Bedienung war sehr schnell und sehr nett.

Kann man ohne weiteres Empfehlen. 👍

Un très bon restaurant avec des plats traditionnels grecs je vous recommande le plat spécial avec côte d'agneau boulettes de porc et gyros crudités c'est excellent attention prévoyez d'avoir une grande faim!

Restaurant moyen, le plat était relativement bien présenté et il était bon, le service n'était pas à la hauteur il a fallu plusieurs fois demandé pour être servi et il manquait toujours quelques choses, l'ambiance n'était pas au top non plus on était 8 et on a été installé sur deux tables de 4 de hauteur différentes ce n'est pas agréable, je ne vous le recommande pas,

Excellent restaurant nous sommes retournés après 10 ans, toujours aussi bon et toujours autant dans l'assiette.

Wir waren letztes Wochenende dort essen, mein Partner war hier schon einige Male und hat ihn für ein Familienessen empfohlen. Super leckeres Essen, im Vergleich große Portionen und ein angemessener Preis. Hier würde ich definitiv wieder herkommen. Der Service ist super und es wird auf Wünsche eingegangen.
