Restaurant Akropolis in Bad Kötzting

We quickly decided to have lunch in Acropolis. It was well attended, we didn't reserve a table but still managed to get a seat. However, it was pointed out that the food took a little longer, but it wasn't a problem for us. The staff had a lot of stress, but despite all of this they managed it well. It took a while for our food to arrive but we knew it. Thanks for the kindness.

The restaurant did not meet our expectations. The starters (garlic bread and pepperoni) were good. The ouzo wasn't cold. The moussaka tasted overcooked and bland and was still cold inside. After the complaint I got my plate back, the edge was dirty with (I hope it was flour) (you can see in the photos). It was then even more overcooked than before. The waiter apologized briefly and kindly for the cold food, but nothing else came from the restaurant. Maybe a second ouzo at room temperature? What struck us negatively were the cutlery pockets. On the one hand, I find things very unhygienic (every guest touches them) and on the other hand, they were broken (photo). Something like that shouldn't go to the guest. In one of the photos you can see gyros gratinated with tomato rice and a large chipped spot in the plate. In my opinion no guest should receive something like that either. Our table was dirty on the edge (photo). When paying we expressed our criticism to the waitress, It wasn't until we left the restaurant that I received a short, verbal apology. There are two stars for the starters, the friendly, somewhat overwhelmed-looking young waiter and the ambience of the restaurant - modern, but still reminiscent of Greece.

We were here for the first time. And will DEFINITELY come back. Clear recommendation. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly. Promptly there when you need something. The food was fresh and delicious. The portions are sufficiently large. Ate in a very relaxed atmosphere on the terrace. Price-performance ratio 1 with*.

This location is unbearable. Please let Lidl do this. The previous Edeka was also better. The market manager from Zentgrafenstrasse doesn't get any order here. It's the worst Aldi I know!!!

Went there spontaneously yesterday at a slightly later hour and were immediately warmly welcomed and served. We had our drinks quickly and the food came quickly too. The young waiter was particularly hard-working and of course there was a generous tip. I can only recommend this place again at any time

Chaotic... Drinks were a long time coming. Bread was missing for the starter. Salad bland and watery. Main course... fries completely without salt. 2nd round of drinks was completely forgotten. When we paid the bill we were accused of fraud because the lady couldn't count.

I was there for dinner. The atmosphere is very nice and in summer you can sit outside on a small terrace. Unfortunately the food is modest. I had the Samos plate with king prawns, baked calamari and tomato rice and garlic bread as a starter. The garlic bread had almost no garlic and was not crispy at all, as was the calamari, not a hint of crunch, just bland and greasy. Instead of at least two king prawns (the menu said plural, I would have expected several) I had a single prawn and it was anything but big. The portion of tomato rice was also embarrassingly small. All this for a price of €25 is really disappointing. What should be highlighted, however, is the extremely friendly and attentive service, the waiter sincerely wishes everyone a good appetite and you feel very comfortable. If the food worked, the restaurant would be great! A pity!

If you want to spend a nice evening with excellent food, a clean atmosphere, friendly service and a host who makes you feel welcome, then you've come to the right place! The meat is not fried to death, always juicy and well seasoned. The calamari is tender, the mixed platters are top notch! There's always an ouzo on the house...or two...sometimes three or four...! Sometimes ice cream or yogurt! Greek music in the background, always a little short vacation for us. EFKARISTO, thank you for the incredibly beautiful evenings👍🍻🍽 Well, some time has passed. The restaurant has now been beautifully redesigned. Original Greek decoration and seating. Tip top clean. Always! A lot has also been done outside. Olive trees, beautifully lit in the evening. The food was great. That's why the guests became more and more...! The staff stayed. Now you have to wait a bit. Understandable. Nevertheless, the quality did not decrease. What a handful of service and kitchen does here is top! So please understand that there will be a bit of a wait. It is worth. We love coming here and have never been disappointed. Thanks. Went here spontaneously for lunch today. The order came quickly, the staff were very attentive and friendly. It tasted excellent and was a very large portion (I had gyros with plenty of cheese gratinated). Before that there was a small salad. Nice ambience. Delicious food. The staff is very attentive and polite. Unfortunately there was only one shrimp in the starter, even though the menu said “shrimp”. Unfortunately there was no bread/baguette with the eggplant salad. Unfortunately had to request again. The main course wasn't enough in quantity but tasted delicious.

What a beautiful Greek restaurant with such a friendly staff. Our waiter Andreii was excellent, very attentive and friendly. I ordered green beans and they were very good and also a small house salad. My husband got the moussaka and it was absolutely delicious 😋. We would definitely go back for more moussaka. Our friends were very happy with theirs and got the gyro plate; it looked so delicious and her partner got a mixed grill and raved about the scampi. We were greeted with a complimentary ouzo upon arrival and got a second complimentary ouzo after dessert. We got the tiramisu which came with a scoop of vanilla and was a good size potion to split. Our friends got the chocolate moose and kept saying how delicious it was. We will return next year when we are back going to the Aquacor.

That was an experience, we had a great evening. We were warmly welcomed and the food + dessert were very good and tasty. The waitress Andrii was so nice, attentive and accommodating, it's so nice to go out for an evening again and feel so comfortable. We were so valued as guests! Can only recommend the restaurant. For anyone who likes to eat well, it's just the thing. I often go there myself as the atmosphere and service is very, very good. I always rave about the food, to be able to do something like that is simply phenomenal. The owners greet and say goodbye to every customer. The obligatory ouzo is offered to you free of charge at every opportunity. Keep it up 👍

We didn't get any ouzo as a welcome or when paying. All the other guests in the restaurant do. I won't recommend the restaurant and won't be coming back.

Starten wir mit dem absoluten Highlight. Der Service war umwerfend. Persönlich uns herzlich. So selten erlebt. Herzlichen Dank hierfür. Erste Abzüge für die Vorspeise. Überbacken Schafskäse mit Preiselbeeren. Beides Convinience und nicht überzeugend. Die Lammhaxe mit Auberginen und Feta war solide leider war das Fleisch sehr trocken bis hart und ließ sich nur schwer vom Knochen lösen. Der Schweinefilet Spieß mit Tomaten Reis hingegen in Ordnung. Positiv zu erwähnen bleibt das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis. Wir kommen wieder.

Wir waren letzten Samstag im Restaurant Akropolis. Es war wieder ein richtig tolles Erlebnis. Wir hatten zu viert Vorspeise, Hauptgang, Dessert und zahlreiche Ouzos. Alles war sehr liebevoll zubereitet und schmeckte überragend... vor allem die Schokalatina. Dieses Dessert hat es mir angetan, so dass ich jederzeit gerne wieder zum Wiederholungstäter werde. Darüber hinaus ist der Service sehr, sehr, sehr positiv hervorzuheben. Die Restaurantbetreiber sind alle äußerst zuvorkommend und besonders bei dem jungen Kellner fühlten wir uns gut aufgehoben. Hinzuzufügen ist, dass wir echte Kenner verschiedenster Griechenrestaurant sind, weil wir seit Jahren bei allen Griechen in Regensburg und Umgebung, Straubing, Bogen, Deggendorf, Schwandorf, Cham und den kleineren Ortschaften dazwischen waren. Das Restaurant Akropolis in Bad Kötzting besuchten wir dieses Jahr zum fünften Mal. Es gehört zu den Top 5 im Umkreis von 70 km. Liebes Akropolisteam, wir kommen gerne wieder und lassen uns von Euch verwöhnen.
