Was für ein schönes Restaurant! Man taucht richtig in die griechische Atmosphäre ein. Der Service ist sehr freundlich. Und das Essen erst! Wir hatten Nummer 70: Gyros, Souvlaki, Steak und Biftaki. Es war köstlich. Ich habe schon oft Gyros gegessen, aber dieses hier war definitiv eines der besten. Vielen Dank! Wer weiß, vielleicht kommen wir ja mal wieder in die Gegend. Kamen gegen neun abends noch zufällig hereingestolpert, wurden super freundlich empfangen. Die Einrichtung ist warm und stilvoll. Uns wurde zur Karte bereits Ouzo angeboten und wir wurden auf neue Gerichte hingewiesen. Auch der deutliche Hinweis am Eingang auf fehlende Kartenzahlungsoptionen wurde von uns positiv empfunden. Das Essen war lecker obwohl etwas wenig gewürzt für meinen Geschmack, die Portionen waren üppig und wir mussten auch nicht lange warten. Zum Abschluss haben wir beim Chef persönlich bezahlt und uns wurde von Inhaber die Hand geschüttelt, auch eine Seltenheit in Restaurants inzwischen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die Vorspeisen waren sehr gut, aber die Hauptgänge konnten nicht punkten. Schlabberige fade Calamari, versalzenes Gyros. Das geht besser. Der Service war allerdings sehr freundlich!

Salat nicht angemacht, kaltes Essen, Kalamari zäh wie gummi. Kleine Portionen mittlerweile. Was echt mega is ist das Zazitiki, zumindest für mich. Am besten frisch alles zubereiten wäre eine Lösung. Wir waren vor ein paar Wochen dort zum essen und waren sehr positiv überrascht. Super Service,sehr freundlich alle . Unsere zwei verschiedenen Essen waren sehr lecker und sehr reichlich. Wir können es nur empfehlen und wir kommen wieder.

Das Gyros war leider sehr fettig und teilweise grade nur so durch. Hätte krosser sein dürfen. Das Suvlaki war sehr dünn, trocken und dadurch kaum Geschmack. Auch die Würzung des Essens war sehr mau. Alles in allem leider kein so gelungener Abend. Im Wintergarten war es sehr kalt und unangenehm dort zu essen.

Die telefonische Reservierung klappte trotz anfänglicher Verständigungsprobleme sehr stressfrei. Das etwas in die Jahre gekommene Lokal ist übersichtlich. Leider zog auf unserem Tisch sehr kalte Luft durch, sodass man unangenehm kalte Beine bekam. Das Personal ist durchweg freundlich und schon fast zu schnell, kaum gesessen und Karten aufgeschlagen, schon ganze Bestellung aufnehmen wollen ist wie ich finde fast zu schnell, jedoch zwischendurch aufmerksames Personal man konnte Wünsche schnell anbringen. Mein Essen war nicht heiß eher lauwarm und für meinen Geschmack etwas zu salzig.

Ohne Reservierung standen wir gestern Abend im Restaurant. Wir wurden auf die Möglichkeit im Wintergarten zu essen hingewiesen. Das haben wir gerne angenommen. Es gab einen tollen Service und gutes Essen. Das empfehle ich gern weiter.

Leider kein angenehmer Besuch. Wir wurden sehr schnell nach der Bestellung gefragt, obwohl wir die Speisekarte kaum gesehen hatten, und fühlten uns dadurch bedrängt. Im Lokal war es kalt und zugig, der Service wirkte aufsässig. Das Essen kam zwar schnell, war aber zu salzig. Auch die Sauberkeit, besonders auf den Toiletten, ließ zu wünschen übrig.

War positiv überrascht, kamen an einem Dienstag Abend gegen 21:00 Uhr an und wurden sofort herzlichst mit einem Ouzo empfangen. Gerichte alle sehr schmackhaft und auch von den Portionen her völlig ausreichend. Preise absolut im Rahmen. Rundum gelungener Abend.

It's the best Greek restaurant I've ever been to, and the cleanest. The owner and staff are the best. Even though they're incredibly busy, they're always helpful and attentive to our every need. The glass and the Paulaner beer I received were ice-cold, just as they should be. And at the end, they always offer you yogurt and ouzo. Absolutely the best restaurant. I recommend it to everyone.

Wir waren über längere Zeit Stammkunden, werden künftig aber eher von weiteren Besuchen absehen. Der Service ist weiterhin sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, der Chef aufmerksam. Ouzo ist gut, daran gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Leider haben Qualität und Portionsgröße des Essens in letzter Zeit deutlich nachgelassen – zuerst beim Abholen, inzwischen auch im Restaurant. Die Preise waren schon zuvor im oberen Bereich, stehen nun aber nicht mehr im angemessenen Verhältnis zur Leistung. Die Vorspeisen sind geschmacklich sehr gut, jedoch deutlich überteuert. Der Beilagensalat zum Hauptgericht fällt sehr klein aus. Zudem ist Tzatziki nicht bei allen Gerichten sinnvoll inkludiert, was aus unserer Sicht unnötig zusätzliche Kosten verursacht. Der Tzatziki ist zwar gut, rechtfertigt den Aufpreis jedoch nicht. Die Nachspeisen sind durchschnittlich, wirken eher wie Fertigprodukte und sind mengenmäßig ebenfalls schwach im Verhältnis zum Preis. Die Sanitäranlagen kommen sichtbar in die Jahre. Die Terrasse ist eng bestuhlt, teilweise schlecht repariert und überträgt unangenehme Bewegungen auf die Stühle. Zusätzlich besteht ein deutliches Fliegenproblem, nicht nur im Außenbereich, sondern auch im Innenraum, das offenbar nicht aktiv angegangen wird. Ausschlaggebend für die Abwertung von früher 4–5 Sternen auf jetzt 3 Sterne war unter anderem das überbackene Gyros: Dieses wird inzwischen mit Paprika ergänzt, wirkt dadurch gestreckt, ist insgesamt aber trotzdem weniger geworden. Bei den weiterhin hohen Preisen empfinden wir das als grenzwertig – zumal das Restaurant nicht schlecht besucht ist und dies aus unserer Sicht nicht notwendig wäre. Insgesamt kein schlechtes Restaurant, aktuell aber kein stimmiges Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ------ Sachliche Klarstellung zur Inhaberantwort Einige Punkte aus Ihrer Antwort greifen Aspekte auf, die so nicht Gegenstand unserer Bewertung waren oder verkürzt dargestellt werden. Dazu folgende Klarstellung: Sanitäranlagen Wir haben keine mangelnde Sauberkeit behauptet. Kritisiert wurde der Zustand: defekte Seifenspender (ersetzt durch Beistellseife), nicht funktionsfähige Papierspender mit lose aufgelegtem Papier, abgeplatzte/rostige Abflüsse, verkratzte WC-Trennwände und gesprungene Fliesen. Einordnung Wir waren keine langjährigen, aber hochfrequente Gäste. Die Bewertung beschreibt konkret erlebte Veränderungen und stellt keine Unterstellung dar. Wir waren mit der Familie (9 Personen)zum essen da, es war wie immer sehr lecker und das Ambiente ist sehr schön und die Bedienung sehr freundlich, man bekam beim verlassen sogar die Türe geöffnet. Also sehr zu empfehlen 👍

Das Essen war hervorragend und der Service einwandfrei. Der Inhaber war sehr freundlich und spendierte Ouzo. Die Gerichte waren reichlich und wir hatten viel Spaß mit Tanz und Getränken. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Wir waren enttäuscht, da das Essen nicht, wie in der Karte angegeben, serviert wurde. Der Schafskäse aus dem Ofen war statt mit Peperoni und Tomaten mit Paprika und Tomaten belegt. Der Fleischspiess war nicht mit Schafskäse überbacken (es war Gouda) und zudem war eine Tomatensosse unter dem Käse. Das Gericht wird in der Karte ohne Sosse angegeben. Bei den Peperoni mit Knoblauchsosse musste man die Sosse suchen…

Bier & Wasser kommt aus Petflaschen . (Vermutlich Aldi/ Lidl) Selbst gesehen und schmeckt auch so. Wein ?? Ich hoffe nicht auch aus Tetrapack. Preis aber natütlich im oberen Bereich. Souvlaki ist hauchdünn ....zu dünn Kinderschnitzel war nicht gut. ALLE Kindergerichte über 10 € . Viel zu teuer. Portionen im Allgemeinen nicht besonders groß. Positiv: Quzo gibts noch vor und nach dem Essen. Freundliches Personal . AMBIENTE SCHÖN. Modern

Wir waren an Silvester dort. Vorspeisen teilweise sehr teuer und z.B. Vorspeisenteller ohne Brot serviert. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis in Schieflage, für den Preis sind die Portionen doch relativ klein. Wir waren das letzte Mal vor 2 Jahren dort, leider hat die Qualität stark nachgelassen. Letztendlich hat sich im Gyros meines Sohnes ein langes Haar versteckt. Da er es nicht gesehen und dadurch im Mund hatte, war ihm der Appetit danach vergangen. Wir haben es beiden Servicekräften mitgeteilt. Leider kam nur lapidar " Entschuldigung" - das war es. Kein Preisnachlass oder ein Getränk etc. auf Kosten des Hauses. Wir werden das Restaurant daher nie wieder besuchen.

An exceptionally good Greek restaurant in Bad Kötzting, with excellent food quality and selection, friendly service, good value for money, and a great atmosphere – we always love coming back.

The gyros, topped with cheese, was served in less than 10 minutes. The gyros was dry and stale, and the food was lukewarm. It's a shame that you can't even get freshly prepared food.

The food was okay, but a bit bland for my taste, and the gyros could have been cooked a little longer. Otherwise, the atmosphere was nice and the selection was good.

The food was good, although the salad was a bit too sweet for my taste, but that's a matter of personal preference. The staff were all friendly and attentive. Dogs are allowed, which I think is great, but we would have preferred a table at the side with our dog, rather than in the middle of the room. I'm deducting one star because leftover food was simply wrapped in aluminum foil – for example, gyros along with fries, tzatziki, and calamari. Styrofoam packaging would have been much more practical.

The food was delicious. The restaurant is cozy and quiet despite the large number of guests. We were able to bring our dog inside. We'd be happy to come back if we're in the area.

We were looking for a restaurant because the food at the hotel was so bad. We ended up here, and it was delicious. The service was courteous. If we lived nearby, we would definitely come here more often.

Stopped here while passing through. The atmosphere was very pleasant, not kitschy. We ordered tzatziki for our starter. A waiter brought bread in a basket. The tzatziki was then served on platters by another waiter. When he saw that we already had bread in a basket, he took the bread that was on the tzatziki plates from the plates at the table and took it back with him. The tzatziki tasted quite good. We wanted to order moussaka, but there wasn't any, arguing that it was the day before the restaurant closed and no new one had been prepared yet. Instead, we had meatballs with mustard, garlic, and tomato sauce, a pan dish. Since no side dish was provided, we ordered baked potatoes. The potatoes were halved small jacket potatoes, unseasoned, boiled rather than baked, but with balsamic dressing. The side dish alone costs 5 euros. The meatballs were tasteless, and the sauce was awful. So, all in all, a complete disappointment. We also had a salad with salmon. I liked the salmon: it was hidden under a lettuce leaf. It was a child's portion of salad and a mini piece of salmon for about €13.50. We also had grilled meat, which was dry and tough. This was by far the worst meal I've ever had at a Greek restaurant.

The food was lukewarm, and the rice and salad had nothing to do with Greek food. The salad came before the drinks. I don't recommend it because the price-performance ratio is completely out of sync. Once, never again.

In my opinion, this is the best Greek food in the entire area. The gyro and tiramisu are especially delicious!

The interior was nice, but we were outside, but the wooden floorboards were loose, and the floor was sinking because of the staff. I had chicken breast with fries for 15 euros, way too little, for a child's portion, yes, but not for a man. The side salad was a joke, and the white bread was gone. The plates were damaged. Not recommended. My wife had calamari, which was watery.

Not recommended!! Waiters were overwhelmed, even with a small number of guests. Some of the food was undercooked, some was burnt. Cheap salad dressing, rice with tomato paste/ketchup. The excuse given was that the kitchen staff was sick and the mother was working alone in the kitchen. Shortly afterward, the restaurant filled up, and the food arrived in seconds!!??!

This restaurant deserves to be noticed. The entire ambiance is high-quality and tasteful. The food is excellent. The service is always attentive and friendly. Here, you are still noticed and appreciated as a guest. Now for Dustin's final one-star review. I was also a guest that evening. The entire beer garden was packed. There were also about seven occupied tables inside. It was hot. Even at 8 p.m. it was still 27 degrees. Well, it was obvious to all the guests that there were only two men in service. They tried to please everyone. There was someone shouting from every corner...! Despite that, everyone remained friendly. There was often an ouzo if things took too long. Now, back to that one-star review. It's embarrassing. No one has time anymore. Everyone wants to be served immediately and first. You could see that the service was doing everything they could. If I, as a guest, want to have a pleasant evening, I'll take my time. Harsh ranting isn't appropriate here and now. This guest should go to a fast-food restaurant, where he can order impersonally at a counter and get his bags immediately. Oh my gosh, think about it. We also had to wait a bit, but were rewarded with excellent food and a free shot of schnapps. At this Greek restaurant, every minute of waiting is worth it. Thanks for the lovely evening.

Unfortunately, the bar was completely resistant to criticism. Instead of accepting it with gratitude, the response was "Everyone has different tastes." That's true in principle, but when you get several non-carbonated spritzers, non-alcoholic wheat beer instead of regular beer, completely tasteless food instead of flavorful, watered-down salad, and over-fried scampi, then perhaps you should take the criticism of all your guests into consideration. You'd probably have more of them on Saturday evenings.

From the moment you enter the restaurant, you receive a very friendly welcome, and the service is consistently excellent throughout your visit. The restaurant itself combines modern and traditional styles with typical Greek decor. It's cozy and very beautiful. The food arrived quickly (fresh!) and was delicious, generously portioned, and absolutely reasonably priced. I highly recommend a visit!

We arrived at 1:45 p.m. and the restaurant closes at 2:30 p.m. Everyone was exceptionally friendly, the food was beautifully presented on bamboo boards (not like many Greek restaurants!) and of excellent quality - only the salad dressing was tasty but not very Greek... The price/performance ratio and service were excellent, and I would definitely recommend it.

I would have liked to give it 5 stars, but one thing bothered me personally. Perhaps you can improve it in the future. The oil and vinegar baskets were dirty, the vinegar was empty, there was no salt, and the pepper shaker didn't work. Everything was so perfect, and this little detail is ignored. I didn't know that tzatziki was served without side dishes, but according to the waitress, that's the norm here! Apparently, if you order tzatziki as a starter, you get it with your main course. It's just that you sit for 10 minutes before you get a menu. Then they take your drinks, but not your food, with the comment that it might take a while because there's a group of 20 people there. Staff were inattentive and sometimes lacked German. They completely ran out of lamb for the sake of convenience. Once and never again. I haven't experienced anything like that in the Bavarian Forest, but also not outside, for a long time! What I also forgot about not accepting credit cards is that you can't pay by credit card, which is written on a small handwritten note at the entrance. I also saw this for the first time in Germany, but it fits with everything mentioned above.

Review: The food was overall disappointing. The preparation seemed very simple and careless - there were no pieces of vegetables as a side dish. The gyro was unusually thick cut and not particularly tasty. The rice was extremely fatty, which made the dish even more unappetizing. Actually I should have let it go back. Conclusion: Once and never again.

Was in this restaurant for the first time. Very nice, clean facility. Cozy. My roasted salmon salad was like a child's portion. I've never had so little salmon on a salad. For this price... it's a shame.

Very delicious food. I haven't had a gyro like this in ages; it was absolutely delicious. I had a lamb shank myself. It was fantastic with eggplant and feta cheese. The tzatziki was really steamy. It was an all-around successful evening.

The service was really good, very friendly and polite. Top! We ordered a grilled platter, the liver was very dry, and the meat was generally grilled to death, so everything was dry except for the bifteki, which was a real shame. Unfortunately, card payments aren't accepted.

After a long time, I went to a restaurant with my husband to eat again. We always like to go to Greek places. For the first time since the owners took over this restaurant, we think it's nice and cozy. The service is incredibly friendly and you feel very comfortable. What struck us negatively this time was the industrially packaged sliced ​​bread that you get in bags in the supermarket. When I go out to eat and want to enjoy it, it just doesn't fit into the picture. For the same money you can get cheap baguettes in supermarkets or you can make your own. The fried ready-made Pitta and the balsamic dressing are similarly unpleasant. You have such a beautiful location there, you are so hospitable and personable, if such details were simply fresh and homemade or at least a little higher quality than these ready-made products, we would love to come much more often!

Recommendation: instead of fries (too many anyway) a few grilled potatoes or fried potatoes etc. Fries are for snack bars and kebab stalls. The portions are extremely large, perhaps the potatoes instead of fries make them a little smaller. Otherwise everything is very nice.

It was my sister's birthday and the waiters put on a complete show with champagne, ice cream, candles, music... It was great! The food was also very good! We would love to come back!

Be sure to reserve. We were surprised. It is a large, very well-attended Greek restaurant in Bad Kötzing. We had reserved with a dachshund and got a great table where not everyone had to walk past. The food was excellent, the quantity was almost unbearable. As expected, the dessert was fantastic and was twice as big as we know from Munich. The two of us did it. Since the restaurant was full, the really fast and friendly staff had a lot to do. Everyone should be aware that you have to wait a bit.

We quickly decided to have lunch in Acropolis. It was well attended, we didn't reserve a table but still managed to get a seat. However, it was pointed out that the food took a little longer, but it wasn't a problem for us. The staff had a lot of stress, but despite all of this they managed it well. It took a while for our food to arrive but we knew it. Thanks for the kindness.

Starter was burnt and main course so-so

The most modern Greek restaurant I've ever seen, wow

The restaurant did not meet our expectations. The starters (garlic bread and pepperoni) were good. The ouzo wasn't cold. The moussaka tasted overcooked and bland and was still cold inside. After the complaint I got my plate back, the edge was dirty with (I hope it was flour) (you can see in the photos). It was then even more overcooked than before. The waiter apologized briefly and kindly for the cold food, but nothing else came from the restaurant. Maybe a second ouzo at room temperature? What struck us negatively were the cutlery pockets. On the one hand, I find things very unhygienic (every guest touches them) and on the other hand, they were broken (photo). Something like that shouldn't go to the guest. In one of the photos you can see gyros gratinated with tomato rice and a large chipped spot in the plate. In my opinion no guest should receive something like that either. Our table was dirty on the edge (photo). When paying we expressed our criticism to the waitress, It wasn't until we left the restaurant that I received a short, verbal apology. There are two stars for the starters, the friendly, somewhat overwhelmed-looking young waiter and the ambience of the restaurant - modern, but still reminiscent of Greece.
