Redo XXL Ketzin in Ketzin/Havel

Very friendly service and good food! The food also consisted of fresh ingredients.

There are exactly 2 shortcomings in this beautiful Redo XXL... and those are the toilets.

A week ago, eight of us went to this rustic restaurant. There are two large barrels in the outdoor area, in which you can certainly dine comfortably with eight people. The food was very good, big compliments to the chef! The service was also first class. Considering that Leon had to serve all the guests alone, it worked really well. Furthermore, given how stressful that day was, he was very friendly and accommodating. Other restaurants with multiple waiters don't even come close to achieving this. We would be happy to come back, even though the journey is very long for us (100 km).

Ate the XXL schnitzel. The schnitzel was super tasty, nice and crispy and not tough. The service was very nice. The toilets are a little small though. All in all, great again!

We ate here today with 8 people and were extremely surprised by this cozy atmosphere. From the BIG royal platter with asparagus, super delicious asparagus soup! We were just as enthusiastic about the wine and schnitzel as we were about the super friendly service from Leon. All that remains to be said is - KEEP IT UP!!! And we'll definitely be back!!!

Were here for the 2nd time today. It was crazy again. The service was great. The quality was outstanding and we don't need to talk about the portion 😅. All in all it was very satisfactory. I have a clear recommendation. We'll be back. Greetings ✌️.

We came to the restaurant by chance because we stayed one night at the nearby campsite...what can I say, it was the best thing that could have happened to us. The menu was MEGA, you could sit outside and inside and the service was BOMBASTIC!!! I myself come from a gastronomic family and therefore know that it is not easy to find staff (good staff)...everything seems to be right in this restaurant because you could tell that everyone had fun...super friendly, helpful and very considerate!!! Our spare ribs and the schnitzel were absolutely delicious. To our waiter, a huge thank you...you saved our evening. Greetings from Justus and our dog Nala

Even 1 star too much. Reserved for 4 people, got a table for 2, then also near the toilets and in the entrance area with the door open and 13 degrees. When I asked for another suitable table, I only received the answer “No, you see what’s going on”. No effort, no further questions - after 10 minutes we received the card, after 15 minutes we left.

I ate here for the first time today, the food came incredibly quickly and was delicious. The employees understand customer service 100% and are very fond of children, which is not a given today, unfortunately. I'd love to come back. ♡

Spontaneously and for the first time, the two of us set off for Ketzin. Actually only inspired by the consistently good reviews for RedoXXL and, - a friend from Berlin once said: ..." go there, it's cool ... ". That's exactly what it was! Good food, nice cozy atmosphere and staff who obviously enjoy working there. Nice idea for event gastronomy, good idea for a family highlight!

Absolutely not, I ordered and ate a small portion, but had to pay for a large portion because another table paid for mine. Absolute scam!!

Apart from the fact that the schnitzel was a bit too greasy, the fries (now handmade), the wild garlic sauce and the sour cream are extremely delicious!!! Fries very crispy but not dry! Freshly made sour cream! Wild garlic sauce is really cool!!! A mixture of hollondaise and fresh wild garlic ❤️ Meat variations are correspondingly well cooked. Our waiter was personable and accommodating. We were a fairly large group and despite the staff shortage, which was communicated via telephone communication from Redo, we neither had to wait for food nor did we die of thirst! The interaction was still friendly, relaxed and structured! We look forward to the next time and say thank you for the wonderful time with you!

Despite the restaurant being fully booked, a way was found so that we could spontaneously have dinner. The service was super nice, the food was perhaps a bit much...as it should be in an XXL restaurant and very tasty. We'll be back, next time with a reservation.

Yesterday we spontaneously drove to the Redo restaurant. Of course we didn't reserve a table, but the staff looked for a way and found it... Great service, super nice and friendly I would be happy to reserve a table again :-)

As Ketzin residents, we are regular guests, great & super delicious food, very cozy, as always courteous & great service from a young lady (sorry, name unknown) despite the stress, always a smile on our face and today, as the icing on the cake, the super friendly welcome & service from newcomer Leon. That made today's visit perfect, as did the short small talk with him. Stay as you are Leon and please stay with the XXL heretic. Of course we will be back and with that in mind...G.I.G. I was there on March 2nd. I was a guest at the restaurant in Ketzin and unfortunately not satisfied with the service. There were five of us there, including two children - one of them three years old. According to the advertising and the menu, children up to the age of seven eat free on Sundays, but we were still charged for the “Witwe Bolte” including juice. In addition, a mushroom cream sauce was listed on the bill, which we never received. Another problem was that we didn't get the bill until we asked - we had already paid at that point, which is why I didn't notice the errors until later. Of course you rely on the staff, but such discrepancies are annoying. Unfortunately, I also had similar experiences with the service on previous visits to Ketzin. However, I would like to emphasize that the food was very good - there is nothing wrong here. I hope that the service will improve in the future, because I generally enjoy visiting the restaurant.

Not only is the food juicy, but also the prices. The map is a bit confusing. And I hope the "proverb" from the toilet you can tell the kitchen doesn't apply here. The sanitary facilities are more reminiscent of a snack bar or a corner bar. You should have saved the money for the selfie/memory and camera monitor. The crowning glory is that with a reservation you would only have 2 hours, so the next reservation would have the table. Despite the argument that you were generating sales (6 adults), you had to go. So wait about 1 hour for the food, eat, pay...forfeit... The matter was left out because apparently no other guests showed up. Otherwise, we would of course have liked to free up the space and end the rest of the happy evening somewhere else and save a lot in the process ;P Overall, well P.s. Other guests driving by were immediately rejected due to reservations, even though the restaurant was not close to 50% capacity and in conversations with the service staff it was clear that the reservation was already 60 minutes overdue anyway Too bad

We've been to Redo several times. It's ups and downs. Yesterday the food was mostly excellent. Unfortunately, the steak was “too well done” even though it was ordered medium. The rest of the food was super good. The service was actually very nice and gave good advice. But there is a star deduction in the B grade. As far as we know, there was no notice that card payment was not possible (not one of the 6 people noticed it). And in general, in a restaurant where an XXL portion can cost a good 50 EUR, it is absurd if card payment is not possible. Two important details were unfortunately ignored. We had a “birthday child” with us. It's a shame that there is no attention, congratulations or anything like that. Especially since it is specifically mentioned on the store's map. It was also ignored that the bill was higher than 100 EUR and that you should actually have received a voucher for that. But overall we were full and it was tasty.

The food was really great, the portions were generous and extremely tasty. The service was courteous and very friendly. The ambience itself is okay, a little small and outdated. The toilets should also get an upgrade and were very narrow. But overall great would come again.

We always enjoy eating there as a group. Last time there were unfortunately small problems with our reservation, but a solution was quickly found, an apology was made and the evening could continue without any problems. The food was great as always, the staff, despite the stress, were friendly and humorous as always.

My friend and I were there on Saturday. It was the first time for me, my friend had been there several times. So I can say that the food was very tasty and plentiful. :D I have one tiny comment: next time I would pound the schnitzel a little thinner. :) The food also arrived very quickly. The service was friendly and patient as we needed a little time to decide what to eat. :) What I really complain about is the furnishings there, which are very outdated and really need to be renewed. The toilets and toilets also urgently deserve a new coat of paint and a few more toilets while good.

Very spontaneously, we tried to get a table with 6 people on a Saturday afternoon. Very friendly and helpful, it actually worked. Simply wonderful up to this point. When we arrived at the restaurant we received a very friendly welcome and the service continued just as friendly. The food came quickly and was very, very good. There is absolutely nothing to complain about, just super friendly service all around. We'd love to come back, but next time it won't be so spontaneous. Thank you

We were there yesterday with 7 people. The restaurant was full but we were still greeted warmly and shown to our table. Despite a reservation error, we got a nice table and were served quickly and very friendly. There are no long waiting times for food here. We had the XXL schnitzel with side dishes for everyone and various sauces. It was very tasty. The friendly service is also worth highlighting.

Called on Wednesday for an appointment on Saturday February 22, 2025 for 17 people, the new operations manager did everything he could to make it possible, called me back about an hour later and told me that he could manage it. GIG!!! The restaurant is furnished in the style of an older inn and therefore promises a very cozy atmosphere. My buddy and I were served by the new location manager Leon. He was more than friendly and was always available for a quick chat despite the busyness. Our food was brought to our table quickly and tasted excellent. The Redo in Ketzin is a clear recommendation and I will definitely come back.

The food tasted wonderful. Large portions as you would expect. Service and staff were really nice, friendly and with a lot of humor.

The four of us + baby were there yesterday spontaneously. Even though we hadn't made a reservation, we were even offered a place in one of the heated seating barrels. Really great atmosphere! (Although perhaps a radio or music would fit in well). The baby food that was brought along was heated to the right temperature. The food was ready quickly and the bell buttons allow you to call a waiter if necessary. Thank you very much, we would love to come back!

We were warmly welcomed today by the very committed operations manager Leon Schröder, who moved to Potsdam from the Ruhr area. Absolutely friendly and attentive, you immediately sense his great passion for gastronomy. The drinks were quickly brought to the table and the food we ordered didn't take long to arrive. Our children loved the Jägerschnitzel, pasta with tomato sauce and the Hungarian goulash and would like to come back soon. Us adults also really enjoyed it. The sometimes very impressive portion sizes made your eyes wide open - if your stomach is too small, you can pack the “leftover” yourself and take it to go. Funny special feature: there is an “order button” on the table through which the service receives information via a smartwatch, so that they can arrive even quicker with a smile on their face. :-) We can recommend this restaurant without reservation and would be happy to come back!

Everything is better Yes, we haven't been to the redo for a long time and now it was that time again. At the beginning we were warmly greeted by the boss. I think it's very nice and unfortunately it's not that common these days. Then we went to the real reason, food. We were informed about the food and chose a wine to go with it. Everything came to our table after a reasonable amount of time. Quality very good and tasty. Even for me with a not so huge stomach, I found something on the menu, and the size of the dish is variable. And it's great that there's also home cooking! Interesting outside, the barrel. A small barrel for a cozy get-together. Let's take a closer look. What I didn't like was that it was quite cold and the furniture was functional but could be spruced up. So again at any time, even if you don't need the 1 kilo schnitzel to be happy.

Hello, five of us ate there today, the food didn't take too long to arrive and was delicious. The schnitzel was awesome 600g I'm not a bad eater but I couldn't manage that with the mountain of fries we took the rest with us it's no problem there are enough paper plates. The appetizer, the garlic bread and the ice cream afterwards were just awesome. We will definitely be making further visits. Thumbs up 👍

Even though the store was full of guests and there were only two people on staff, we waited 7 minutes for the order, 12 minutes for the drinks and 15 minutes for the food, so it couldn't be quicker. The food was very good and, above all, hot. The furniture is getting a bit old. But the kitchen and service really did a good job, chapeau ‼️‼️

Unfortunately I can't rate the food, but the service is perfect. Due to temporary technical problems, a call was made to Potsdam on our behalf.

My friends and I wanted to have dinner with you today at Redo XXL in Ketzin. I called beforehand and asked for a table, the employee seemed very stressed on the phone and said yes, just come over, said done. So we drove from Brandenburg an der Havel to Ketzin (40 minute drive) only to be told there was no space available. We were then offered a reserved seat, but the reservation came a few minutes later. Now we're on the way home, hungry, and upset. It's a shame that it didn't work out. However, the employee offered to wait at the bar with a drink on the house until a table became available. However, we are hungry now and have left accordingly.

A cute inn in the middle of a residential area. The food was very tasty, of course in XXL but there was material to take away. Price-wise, it's also completely okay. The two service guys were also very nice and friendly. Gladly again, but let's digest it first. But definitely worth a visit and an attraction if you like food experiences.

The boss “Redo” should stop by here more often. Things used to be better when he was here regularly. We were there on Friday evening, there wasn't much going on, but we still waited a long time for the drinks to arrive. Likewise until we could order our food. And after dinner we would have liked to have another beer. The portions are huge, the quality is mediocre. Lots of fat, little protein for the muscles, no fresh vegetables or fruit. Toilets like 25 years ago. The parking spaces are difficult to access and too few due to road construction work. But there are enough on the street. The price was high at €47 per person. Each of us had three drinks, an XL meal and a digestive.
