Rathaus Kebap in Kempten (Allgäu)

Das ist unser Lieblingsrestaurant, wenn wir in Kempten sind. Da ich sehr wählerisch bin und nicht überall essen kann, war ich von der großen Auswahl an Gerichten, dem leckeren Essen, der Hygiene, dem aufmerksamen Service und der Freundlichkeit des Personals absolut begeistert. Vielen Dank für alles! ✨

Mein Besuch am RathausKebab in Kempten war leider enttäuschend. Das Personal war unfreundlich, und es gab ständig Probleme bei kleinen Wünschen, zum Beispiel bei Änderungen am Döner oder Salat. Sie waren genervt und haben oft gesagt, dass manche Wünsche nicht gehen. Auch das Essen war nicht gut: Das Fleisch hat nicht geschmeckt, und insgesamt war es kein gutes Erlebnis. Auch die Hygiene ließ zu wünschen übrig. Die Sauberkeit war nicht auf dem Niveau, das man erwarten würde Ich würde diesen Dönerladen nicht weiterempfehlen

Also wenn ich mein essen kalt haben will sag ich dass das nächste mal also für knapp 50€ etwas sehr enttäuschend

Dönermann hat unlustigen Witz erzählt und der Döner war mittelmäßig man kann Straße weiter laufen und ist beim besten Döner in Kempten (Masters)

Der Döner ist leider enorm von der Qualität und dem Geschmack gesunken. Die Mitarbeiter die den Laden seit ein paar Monaten schmeißen, hören beim bestellen nicht richtig zu und Belegen den Döner/Dürüm falsch (Soße nur an einer Stelle im Dürüm und nicht sinnvoll verteilt u.s.w. und nein ich war allein im Landen und es war nichts los). Leider kann ich hier keinen Döner mehr holen da er jedes Mal noch schlechter wird. Sehr schade, hab früher sehr gern den Döner gegessen.

Sehr schlechter servic sehr unsympathisch ich habe ohne zwiebl bestellt er tut zwiebl der arme. Mach Witze die nicht lustig sind, und esse Katastrophe schmeckt nicht KOMMT NICHT HIER HER!!

Wenn wir in Kempten sind, gehen wir gerne zum Essen hierhin. Das Essen hat uns bisher immer geschmeckt, egal ob der Klassiker Döner, ein gemischter Teller von den Mittagssachen und auch anderes. Die Auswahl ist sehr gut. Das Personal ist immer höflich, arbeitet zügig und sauber. Auf Kundenwünsche wird stets eingegangen. Die Preise sind fair und angemessen. Wir sind sehr zufrieden. Danke.

War irgendwann mal gut, aber nicht mehr. Das Fleisch war das unappetitlichste was ich seit langem gesehen habe, wirklich komplett knorplig und gefühlt teils noch roh. Auch ein Freund meinte sein Döner schmeckt komisch. Ich würde das nichtmal mehr essen wenn mir jemand die 8€ dafür geben würde, ohne Übertreibung.

Der Döner war mittelmäßig. Der Service war sehr nett. Der Laden insgesamt relativ schmuddelig, auf den Tischen und am Boden lagen viele Essensreste

Sehr solider döner! Saftiges Fleisch und gute Soßen! Portionen sind sehr gut und vernünftige Preise gibt's auch noch! Es fehlt so ein kleines bisschen die Krossheit im Brot aber ansonsten gibt es nichts zu beanstanden! Immer wieder gerne!

Der Service war freundlich, was den teueren Preis (9€ für einen Dürüm) und die schlechte Qualität des Fleisches leider nicht gut macht. Schade, denn früher war der Döner echt gut...

Der Rathaus Döner war früher echt recht solide, mittlerweile ist die Qualität v.a. die des Fleisches aber echt eine absolute Katastrophe. Nicht mehr zu empfehlen! Holt euch euren Döner lieber woanders. Das Team war uns gegenüber sehr freundlich, aber das rettet bei der Qualität leider nichts.

Fleisch trocken, schon länger aufgeschnitten. Brot trocken.

Es ist schwer nachvollziehbar, dass ein Laden mit Frühstückszeiten von 7:00 bis 12:00 Uhr wirbt, die Türen jedoch verschlossen sind, obwohl Personal sichtbar anwesend ist. Ebenso irritierend ist, dass offenbar niemand es für nötig hält, kurz mitzuteilen, dass aktuell kein Frühstück angeboten wird. Das wirkt unkoordiniert und wenig serviceorientiert. Der Döner selbst ist solide und geschmacklich in Ordnung. Positiv ist außerdem, dass es abends nahezu die einzige Möglichkeit ist, in diesem Ort noch halbwegs vernünftig essen zu gehen. Unterm Strich: akzeptables Essen, aber deutliche Defizite in Organisation und Kommunikation. Deshalb insgesamt 3 von 5 Sterne

Wir sind auf der Durchreise zu fällig am Dönermann vorbei gekommen. Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall von der Autobahn einen Abstecher zum Döner zu machen. Der Laden ist erstklassig. Geräumige und clean nicht zu vergleichen mit den Hans und Franz Dönern an jedem Hauseck. Der Döner war geschmacklich auch top. Hat uns nicht vom Hocker gehauen, war aber solide stabil. Die Auswahl auch von verschiedenen Gerichten ist hervorragend. Auf jeden Fall Empfehlenswert 🥙

Ich wurde sehr freundlich bedient. Baklava und Cay waren lecker. Ein Stückchen zum Probieren gab es gratis dazu. Danke, gerne wieder.

We had two doner kebabs with an ayran for a total of €17.50 (€8 per doner, €1.50 for the ayran). The doner used to be really delicious here, but this time it was a huge disappointment. The meat tasted like typical industrial doner meat – bland and barely recognizable as real doner in terms of texture. The only good things were the somewhat tasty flatbread and the salad, which was okay. Overall, it's a real shame how the quality has declined. Unfortunately, this was my last time there.

It's generally tasty and pleasant, but the portions are getting smaller and smaller... So little sauce that it barely covers half the portion, less meat/filling than before, and yet still very expensive. It's no wonder I hardly ever see anyone there when I'm there...

Very disappointing! I bought a kebab here and was totally shocked to find a piece of a metal dishwashing sponge in my kebab! It's absolutely disgusting and dangerous. I can't recommend it to anyone. Unfortunately, hygiene doesn't seem to be a priority here.

Wow, so delicious and well-made, and visually appealing too. We went here from our hotel based on the numerous reviews, and we were really impressed by the delicious food. It's obviously appreciated by so many people, as it's so popular.

On the positive side, the service is extremely fast and the kebabs are tasty, but the fries are a disaster because they're made of salt and are inedible. Furthermore, the restrooms are in dire need of renovation.

My friends and I got a doner kebab box for €8.50, and it only contained fries and meat, no salad or anything else. I don't think it's okay, because we only got a small box with just meat, fries, and sauce. Doner kebab boxes usually come with salad on top. The service was really unfriendly; there was no smile or friendly voice, which is what restaurants should have. The atmosphere was okay. The food was okay, but the price wasn't worth it.

A solid, reliable kebab shop in the city center. Addendum: Unfortunately, I have to revise this slightly. The kebabs have declined considerably recently. The quality was never top-notch, but the opening hours and prices made up for it. Unfortunately, it's now significantly more expensive, and the opening hours have been significantly reduced.

This store has poor service. There aren't many products, and it doesn't accept card payments, even though there's a sticker indicating that you can pay by debit card.

I personally didn't like the food; I just didn't think the meat was right for a kebab. The service was very good and fast, but the restaurant wasn't very clean, and the restrooms weren't very clean either, as were the faucets.

I would almost say that it is one of the best kebab shops in the whole of Allgäu

Delicious, good value for money, large portions. Fast service, seating outside and inside on two levels. Only the women's restroom needs some renovation.

While the portions and outdoor seating are satisfactory, the cleanliness of the restrooms needs improvement.

Unfortunately, the kebab is very spartan. We didn't notice any difference between the large and small kebabs, except for the price.

Diarrhea from kebabs. I got diarrhea shortly after eating it at lunch. I also had stomach cramps that lasted until the evening. I strongly advise against consuming it.

When we're there, this is our number 1 kebab.

Quality is okay. But you wouldn't pay €9 for a Dürum, even in Augsburg or Munich. Completely overpriced!

Food was tasteless really really really bad , the toilets was dirty and there was no soap also the second time I went to the toilet there was no paper towels to dry my hands that I’ve only washed with water

Very good and generous portions, and the price/performance ratio is really justified. The only criticism is the women's restroom; it would be nice to install new, lockable doors.

The food: You have to hunt for meat no matter what you order, and it's absolutely overpriced. The restroom facilities at every train station couldn't be better. Thanks, never again...

The absolute worst kebab in the world. I'd been looking forward to this kebab for two years, but unfortunately, the quality is no longer the same. I recommend going a few doors down, where you'll get the same quality as usual.

The food is okay, but hygiene is unfortunately a real problem. There's a door missing from the women's restroom, and there's more broken than whole in the men's restroom. The food itself is good, but if the sanitary conditions are so bad, I don't even want to know about the hygiene during the food.

Had very strange meat in the kebabs. Was it like small chopped beef?! (Much smaller than gyros) It was dark, tough and didn't taste good... they were small pieces that were completely over-seasoned (just salty) and left me thirsty all night. If there are two types of meat, as you read here from time to time, then why aren't you asked? Be careful when it says “with everything”, think straight away about which sauce you want (even if you don’t know beforehand which one is available). That’s why I ended up with a curry sauce that I didn’t want But I thought the question was about vegetable content) Sorry, the kebab didn't work at all

Prices are set as you please! I ordered just meat with garlic sauce twice for 5 euros each! Today a portion of meat with sauce for 10 euros! It's unbelievable how people get ripped off there!

My interpretation might be this. A bit expensive compared to other places. But they fill the plate too much. It's reaching the tipping point, I suggest you be careful while eating it. But overall 4.5⭐️ 👍🏻

The only place anyone who misses to eat döner kebab in Türkiye should go is the meat doner kebabs, the employees are amazing, they are very friendly, by the way, I recommend you to try the rice pudding and its eclairs.

Today we had two Lamacun with meat and cheese. The taste was actually good, but unfortunately you had to look for the meat. As I was preparing it, I thought to myself, "Isn't it embarrassing for them to use so little meat?" It's a shame, given the double-digit euro range. We will probably go to the competition in the future. Half a handful of meat is just outrageous.

Unfriendly staff. Even though I bought over 10 euros, they didn't want to accept the card with the excuse that the card machine was broken. I think the customer needs to be informed beforehand, not after the order is ready. This was my second time there and I won't be coming back.

We always like to come here to eat the kebab plate when we are in Kempten. Unfortunately, the portions have become smaller and the quality is no longer what it used to be. I read the bad reviews today and couldn't understand it. But when I was there again today after a long time, I unfortunately have to agree with the negative reviews. The meat and the fries were so greasy that it was simply inedible and we left half the plate behind. It was a real shame, otherwise the food was always Great. Will go to another kebab in the future. Maybe the quality will return to what it used to be at some point.

Doner kebab used to be always top there, but unfortunately not anymore. Bread is still okay, meat is extremely salty and only the fat is dripping out. Far too many onions in the kebab, unfortunately the high price of 8 euros doesn't fit here at all. Very unfortunate

It used to be really good... The last few times the meat had little taste and the portions are often very small for the price. The quality of the meat is simply not what it used to be. The kebab plate is filled with lots of fries and salad, with just a little meat on top. Since the store is based on the self-service concept, you can really expect more for the price. If neither the quantity, nor the quality, nor the price is right, then something is seriously wrong. I always enjoyed coming. If the situation changes, the review will be updated.

Incredible disappointments I would pay a maximum of 10 cents for these humiliating kebabs. The meat half cold not nearly crispy I thought I'd bite into some raw tofu if I could 0 ⭐️

Worst kebab than I have ever eaten. Meat is soaked in fat, almost no sauce on the kebab even though I ordered with extra sauce. A disaster in terms of taste. We tried it twice because the kebabs there were once good and we thought we might have had a bad day, but no, the kebabs are just a disaster there.

Unfortunately now one of the worst kebabs. It used to be really good. No sauce on the kebab, even though it was ordered with a lot of sauce. Meat just fatty and tasteless. Bread also greasy and dry. Hardly any content in the thing, no idea how anyone is supposed to get enough It was definitely the last time!!

Recommended! The kebab was lavishly topped, served warm and extremely tasty! The curry note in the sauce was a successful change in taste :)

Ich verstehe nicht wie man jedes mal so verkacken kann was Döner und Dürüm angeht. Man wird zwar gefragt wie man ihn haben will, aber jedes mal wird man komplett ignoriert. Dazu vergessen sie die Soße obwohl ich immer dazu sage "mit allen Soßen bitte", ist ihnen egal. Sie sagen zwar dreist "hab ich schon" obwohl man ja mitbekommen hat, und sehen kann, dass da nichts drauf ist. Das Fleisch ist unter aller Sau, wirklich ekelig und sehr schlechte Qualität. Ich war jetzt schon 15 mal dort, weil jeder sagt der Döner sei der beste in Kempten und ich mir dachte probiers halt nochmal, doch jedes mal bekomme ich einen jämmerlichen Haufen knorpeliges "Fleisch", das sich nicht zerkauen lässt, mit laschem Salat eingewickelt in einem übertrieben fetten Fladen, der beim bloßen Anblick auseinanderzufallen droht. Das alles staubtrocken mit geschmackloser Soße - sofern man trotz fragen überhaupt Soße rein bekommt. Es kotzt mich mittlerweile dermaßen an, wie man so was räudiges als "bester Döner" verkaufen kann. Und dazu noch überteuert für einen Döner, den man so nicht mal wollte, und der ungenießbar ist. Da gibt man dem Laden so viele Chancen, und dennoch jedes mal so eine Enttäuschung.

I'm actually not a kebab fan. In this case it's very neat.

The beef kebab is okay but no longer outstanding as it was two to three years ago. Some of the furnishings are completely destroyed and you can hardly sit on the furniture. The toilet facilities are completely destroyed. You can hardly wash your hands there anymore because the tap is only connected to one pipe and there is no paper. But the most disgusting thing is that the entire staff goes to the men's toilet and definitely doesn't wash their hands afterwards!!! I sat there next to the toilet for over half an hour - I felt really sick afterwards!

Lamacun with salad could have been seasoned better.

Worst service ever. I don't understand what criteria the staff is selected😕 One employee looked at me as if I were an insect under his shoe, another openly made fun of me. When I placed my order, he deliberately repeated my words in a mocking tone and laughed in my face. And as he handed me the order he looked at me again with that condescending grin, I wanted to throw the order back at him to wipe that stupid smile off his face. I won't go there again and won't recommend the place to anyone because of the staff. During the entire time, perhaps only one or two employees looked at me kindly, or at least respectfully. I always came in a good mood because I was looking forward to the food, but I always left disappointed and even the food seemed to taste less good because of it. It is important to mention that I am not alone with my opinion, many of my friends have experienced the same unfriendly treatment and share my opinion. They don't like the behavior of the staff either. I think it's high time to train the staff to show basic kindness and respect towards customers. If that doesn't work, you should replace the team completely

Delicious kebab with layered meat, rich plates, enough space to sit, nice staff. Gladly again👍🏼 Our vegetarians weren't disappointed either.

Unfortunately, I've had mostly bad experiences here. During the day it's ok, not the best kebab in Kempten but it's edible. They throw the kebabs and vegetables on the bread, they just work without passion and unfortunately that's how it tastes. At night they assume that everyone is drunk and sometimes treat the customers really badly. They get the second star because they are unfortunately the only shop open at night, but they don't deserve it.

So from what was once the best kebab to the worst, in my opinion, in the city. We had on October 18th. Got kebab again after a long time there. No more. Almost no sauce, little salad, rather fat-filled rolls. No... I would have preferred to spend those 8 euros in a decent restaurant

Both the kebab and the kebab box taste very good, and the falafel kebab is also highly recommended. You definitely have to try the special sauce too. Recently there has been a small kebab, cheaper and great in size.

The Dürum was ok, but unfortunately nothing special in taste. There are significantly better kebabs/dürum in Kempten. And at €9 for a Dürum it's really expensive for what you get.

We don't normally give negative reviews, but unfortunately in this case we do. This week we bought 2 kebabs for a whopping 17.00 euros. We find that quite proud. The bread was rock hard on the edge, you had to look for the indefinable meat in the mush of the cabbage, the sauce looked like curry sauce and was rather bland in taste. Anyway, we felt so sick afterwards that we thought we had gotten food poisoning.

The food is delicious, the taste is sufficient, and the portions are large. Even though they don't speak German, the staff still tries their best to help introduce and order the food. The atmosphere is very good.

We stopped by late in the evening. We had meatballs with bread and doner kebab served. Even though it was self service, they served us themselves. Friendly team, thank you
