I can't remember the last time I ate so badly. I had a veggie box. It was a plate with - pay attention to the order - totally over-salted fries, on top of it coleslaw, on top of it a whatever patty, on top of it a yellow salad dressing or whatever it was supposed to be, on top of that a few slices of radishes and rolls of spring onions. The fries were, surprise surprise, totally soggy, the rest was drowning in the yellow sauce. I paid 12.99 euros for it. If I had just eaten the money in coins, at least it would have been crispy... Oh yes: there is one star for the clean toilets. You can no longer automatically expect that for one euro. I'm glad I can continue driving straight away. Addition: In the to-go area there are sandwiches and sandwiches that looked good. I would have preferred it, but unfortunately I saw it too late.

Disaster/parking situation! Gas station doesn't have a bockwurst with a roll! It's just an emergency stop for me in the future!

1 currywurst without curry just ketchup with any spice and roll for 6.99 euros is an absolute disgrace!!!!! The sausage itself was inferior with no taste!!! 1 star for the bun because that was the best thing about this currywurst!!! Rastätte Wetterau should perhaps put a little more effort into selecting staff...the toilet lady sits in the entrance and charges €1 per visit to the toilet. Of course without a Sanifair voucher or anything similar. This will add up to a few euros over the course of the day, which will probably go nicely into your own pocket. In the end, no one can control it. Maybe the responsible customs office should take a look. And if you put down less, you will be insulted in Russian. Then it's hardly surprising that people all vote for AFD.

Normal highway gas station/rest stop. As usual, parking spaces are completely overcrowded with tons of trucks. As a car driver with a trailer, you cannot take a break because all spaces, including normal car parking spaces, are blocked by trucks.

The man at the checkout comes across like a bad-tempered bouncer. The food, here Penne Bolognese, is reminiscent of cafeteria food of the kind you don't want to remember. Half-cooked, lukewarm. The tables are sticky and dirty. After half an hour, the cashier comes and replaces the cart with the trays, which the customers have diligently filled with dirty dishes. As he passes by, he walks over a neighboring table with his bare hand to at least wipe the coarse dirt onto the floor. Since the restaurant was busy at this time (1:00 p.m.), proper cleaning of the tables would have been more than appropriate.

The outdoor area is an imposition in my opinion, it's dirty here, there are defects and barrier tape everywhere, it doesn't inspire confidence, a mini shop like a gas station and next to it a kind of self-service restaurant without a lot of choice, it's a real shame given the number of parking spaces, there are also no playground, everything was closed or dismantled, in any case there was nothing to be found.

This was the dirtiest rest stop I have ever seen. The parking lots were very dirty and the trash cans were overflowing. The fact that I had to pay to use the absolutely filthy toilet was a disgrace. It cannot be excused by the fact that the rest area was extremely busy because there were no cleaning staff on site. Only the access machine worked. But that's how people here understand how to take advantage of the guests' distress. PS: Please also note my positive reviews of other rest areas.
