Very tasty sausage, nice conversations with the employee. When the Bulli is there, the eye has something beautiful to observe.

Currywurst is good and solid. However, people are used to something different from the Ruhr area.

Very unfriendly. Even though there's still plenty of chicken left, I'm sent away. The explanation is that I just have to leave. I'll stay away from the restaurant in the future, too.

The Gasthof Kaup, formerly Jägerklause, has been part of our family since we were children our lives. Thanks to the redesigned kitchen, the offerings have adapted to the times. However, the focus remains on schnitzel in different variations. The terrace is a dream in the early evening when the sun is shining.

Everything was great. I've been there three times and have been very satisfied each time. I'll go there next time I'm in the area. I can recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Never again from this restaurant!! Please read to the end. We had lunch at the restaurant with seven people on Saturday. The room was nice and bright but very cold. The menu arrived quickly, and we were served drinks attentively and friendly. We ordered seven starters and seven main courses. The starter was served promptly. Everything about the starter was excellent: the tomato soup was delicious, and the baked feta cheese was divine. The onion soup was also very good, although a few fewer croutons would have been beneficial. The main courses were unfortunately less satisfactory. The onion roast beef and the fillet pots were cooked thoroughly, and the spinach in the pike-perch fillet was very garlicky. The vegetables we ordered separately, apart from the carrots, were unfortunately very mushy and flavorless. The Swiss schnitzel wasn't breaded, although the menu stated otherwise. It was also cooked far too dry. The cordon bleu was rolled into a croquette, like the Swiss schnitzel. (Let's leave the creative aspect aside). Due to its compactness, it was still raw and cold in the middle after frying. My complaint was immediately and kindly handled. I received a new portion without any problems, but with the same problem. I was no longer hungry at that point. Unfortunately, the ice cream in the dessert had many large crystals, otherwise the dessert was fine. _Update_My parents wanted to eat there, as they had often done before, and initially reserved a table by phone with a lady who said they were still on vacation at the time. Surprised, my mother hung up and was called back shortly after by the owner, who told them they weren't on vacation and that he would reserve the table. When my parents arrived at the door with their guests on their birthday, it was locked. An alternative solution was no longer possible due to time constraints, and my mother was very disappointed and sad because she had never been ripped off like that before. I could think of more harsh words for the gentleman, but that's another story!!!
