Overpriced convenience food, unfriendly service, and just weird people there. Go somewhere else.

"The best days are over!" There's no other way to describe the situation at this place... Service was very mediocre, and the quality of the food was sometimes poor; the trout, for example, was still raw! They use a lot of ready-made products, like canned red cabbage and packet sauces. I don't need to go to a "restaurant" for that, and I won't go to them again!

A very beautiful spot. Very good and friendly service. Drinks were nice and cold, and the food was delicious and hot. The animals there are incredibly relaxed. Thank you for the friendly service and a lovely evening.

We've always really enjoyed eating there. Home-style cooking at a fair price. Unfortunately, you can only pay with cash. But today we were very offended. The restaurant itself says: Kitchen closes at 8:30 p.m. This isn't stated anywhere online. We were there at 8:15 p.m. and were told they had no more food because the kitchen was cleaning up. You're supposed to get your food there within ten minutes. We had to leave. What a shame. Please stick to the times.

The animals are really great, but the service is amazing. We were there 3 years ago and have completely forgotten what kind of people run around there. I have never experienced such rudeness in my life. I asked nicely for a menu and she snapped at me and said "it says so right there, you have to order and the menus are in there too". Wow, I thought to myself, that's why I didn't really want to go there, but it was my girlfriend's birthday and she couldn't say no. We'd lost our food. Five minutes later an elderly couple was sitting on the other side ordering something to eat. I thought I was in the wrong movie. Really, just awful. The service there was running around with a flap, really horrible. My daughter rode over to us on an old tricycle and the waitress's husband told my daughter "only ride back there". There's no room at all or we just go in circles. Then we asked if we could have a peacock feather? No, says the man, picking up several and saying, "You can buy some inside." We go in and want to buy one for our daughter. The hunchbacked waitress says, "We don't have any right now." I don't recommend anyone go there.

I always remember it being great. But the schnitzel I ate is better and quicker at almost every snack bar.

It's actually very nice here. A table reservation is advisable. Now for the food. The only drawback: the potatoes were cold, the sauerkraut didn't look appetizing and I didn't like it either. The pork knuckle was amazing, hot and tender as butter. Now for the absolute highlight: a slice of tomato? Leave it out, folks! Homemade schnitzel, fresh mushrooms, OK fries. The prices are unbeatable. A few small improvements to the presentation and paying attention to the temperature, and I'd happily give it full marks. A tip for the service: don't ask for drinks until you've looked at the menu. It's also commendable that you offer senior citizen portions. We'll be back again and then we'll maybe give it five.

We were there with two small children and made a long detour just to see the farm. The food was okay, but unfortunately, all the side dishes were canned. The ambiance was rustic and designed to be nice for the kids. The reception and service were beyond unfriendly. Every question was met with a dismissive response. Unfortunately, nothing is explained about the petting zoo; we only learned from other friendly guests that you can buy animal food and go inside the zoo. We weren't convinced.

The food is delicious and homemade. All at fair prices. Beforehand, pet the donkeys outside, and enjoy my favorite Czech beer (St. Jaro) with your meal. I always enjoy coming here. 👍

I can definitely recommend it. You do have to wait quite a while to order food (drinks were served very quickly, however), but the delicious food makes up for it. It would be nice if the items on the board outside could also be found on the menu inside. ;)

A lovely little farm with a petting zoo. There's hardly any cell reception, so you can eat in peace and quiet, and the prices are completely reasonable for the food. There's a playground, and parking is free.

I would give 0 stars. I don't know the last time I ate something so bad. Beans and red cabbage from a jar, along with unappetizing meat and mud dumplings...that something like that is still sold anywhere, the whole thing for 23€! Incredible. You feel sorry for the animal that it was processed into something like this. Condition doesn't feel like doing her job at all, and the furnishings are from the 80s. The good reviews are a mystery to me.

Simply the most honest meal I've had in a restaurant in a long time. Reminds me of “Sunday’s at Grandma’s”. With a portion of apple strudel, vanilla ice cream and icing, even a slightly larger eater will be full in the end. Nobody goes home poor here either.

Once and NEVER again. Were there on February 15, 2025 with a large group of people. The fireplace room was reserved. Anyone who thinks or expects that it is cozy and warm there when it is snowy and cold has been proven wrong. The room was and cold. The fireplace was just a cold "decoration" (it wasn't heated). The request for more heat was rejected. Service overwhelmed. Instead of the dish we ordered, the wrong one was brought once. By the time the right thing came, everyone else had finished eating. In addition, you can't help but get the impression that the roulades are a warmed-up ready meal. All in all: NOT recommended!

We have now been there twice including an overnight stay. There is honest, very tasty home cooking. The rooms are very clean and the beds are very comfortable. In short: we feel very comfortable there and will come back. Price-performance ratio is worth more than 10 stars for us today. Thanks to the entire team.

If you like it rustic and love very good Prussian cuisine, this is the right place for you! My favorite: blood sausage and liver sausage.

Beer was very good and, at less than 5 euros for half a liter, cheap for today's times. Schnitzel was also tasty, whether it was ready-made or not. Fried potatoes, egg and mushrooms were also good. The question is whether bean salad needs to be served with every meal. What didn't work at all was the completely overcooked red cabbage. Because of the low prices there are still 4 stars.

Great, inexpensive restaurant in the middle of a small zoo. Great for the kids! The food is wonderfully prepared and very reasonably priced. Recommendation! Small criticism: instead of a greeting, we were always asked first if we wanted to eat something. The innkeepers are probably afraid that people will only come because of the animals. But that shouldn't stop you from greeting guests nicely.

We really enjoy eating there. Prices are ok. There are inexpensive dishes and more expensive ones. We ate for €11.80 (blood sausage) and €13.80 (schnitzel with fried egg). We'd love to come back.

Our visit on August 17, 2024 was terrible. We actually wanted to eat. Unfriendly staff in private outfits (guest or staff) served sparkling water and warm Hefeweizen instead of still water, despite a note on the waiter's pad. You should look for the table yourself and have the table number in mind. “We would take a look at the map” - you can get it at the front - it was cleared away like on the campsite 4 plates were simply stacked on top of each other at the table and in front of the guest Carrying technique equals 0 😂😂😂 Refa is not a training job for nothing It took 3 years for us and this was the last time for the 3rd time in 2 years! Ps. The food at the other tables looked good! Your answer to bring the staff yourself is an impertinence. We are a gastro couple with 4 businesses and wanted to spend half our day off with them. It's not about upscale gastronomy, we already knew where we were. A good day, a please, a thank you and appropriate work clothes can be expected in a restaurant or do you work in the kitchen in a jogging suit? You don't feel welcome or invited, you should work on that in a repressive manner, in this context your self-reflection and your complaint management speak for themselves. At the entrance you are greeted with “this is a restaurant and you should order food and drink”. I still understand that, even if it was phrased unkindly. But when you order food and drink and take out the water bottle for the "mini" and then you're asked to put it back in (at 30 degrees), it becomes ridiculous. It didn't just happen to us... If you didn't use the mayo and ketchup that came with your meal, you're welcome to take it with you, but you'll be charged extra. What if I had eaten it there? It's a shame, I haven't experienced anything so unfriendly in a long time. Despite animals, we won't go there anymore.

We were there yesterday on a recommendation to eat ice cream in the summer temperatures and let the children run around in the playground. There are also animals there that you can admire and perhaps even pet. Unfortunately we weren't there for 10 minutes. On the farm, 20 meters from the rabbit hutch, a dead wild boar was just skinned! This was traumatic for my children!! We quickly left and spent the rest of the day calming and distracting the children. Thanks for the “great” trip. I think that such a cruel reality does not belong in a place like this, where small children and children want to have fun. This came without any warning. You could tell from the parents' faces that it wasn't worth seeing and belongs where families with children are the target group. I can't say anything about the food. The one on the other plates looked good. Service could not be found or contacted regarding this situation. We were there for the first and last time

Waren am 25.12.zum Weihnachtsessen es gab 3 Menüs.alle so um die 30€ wir waren zu 4 hatten 1 mal Fisch und 3 mal Gänsebraten leider war die Gänsebrust mehr als Tod gebraten und der Fisch auch .Schade wir waren schon öfter da zum essen da war immer alles ok.Für 135€ für uns alle hätte ich mehr erwartet.Schade.
