Very tasty ramen. You rarely get it this good outside of Japan! The appetizers were also great, highly recommended!

The decor is cozy and stylish, and the service is very attentive. I immediately felt comfortable.

There are 3 vegan ramen that are perfectly okay but also not the best ramen ever. If you're looking for ramen and haven't been here before, it's definitely worth a visit.

I tried the Veggie Tantan Ramen – simply fantastic! The broth was flavorful and the portion was just right.

Ramen 1974 surprises with quality and taste. I had the Kuki Wakame and then Veggie Shoyu – both highly recommended!

Kimchi and Moyatan as a starter – spicy but super tasty! If you want authentic Japanese food, this is the right place for you.

The service was great! Friendly, quick and attentive. Plus a hot plate of Shoyu Ramen – perfect for the evening.

Eating is OK, you get full. But nothing special.

A great restaurant, with very good ramen, the curry is also really good ☺️ we happened to stop by at lunchtime and really enjoyed it, great decor, great prices and a manageable selection of dishes where no one is left out ☺️ I would recommend it to all of my friends (even those who haven't had much to do with Eastern cuisine) 🩷

We ate ramen, gyoza and cucumber sticks and were very impressed! An open kitchen gave us a good feeling. The store was very busy but everyone was super friendly. I would come again.

The tuna was too salty, and the oolong was disgusting. I'm not even sure I got oolong. My friends ordered the same drink, but theirs tasted different. I regret spending my money here.

I ordered miso ramen and kimchi. The kimchi didn't look that good, but it was very delicious. Considering that it's German, the miso ramen wasn't bad, but the lighting in the store was too dark.

Very nice restaurant with calm music, beautiful interior design and phenomenal food. We were there at lunchtime and had the restaurant almost to ourselves. There are tables by the window from which you can directly observe the goings-on on the streets of the new town. The food is prepared quickly and tastes incredibly good. TLDR: simply recommended

Entry is open until 2:30 p.m. at lunchtime, we were there around 2 p.m. and basically had the restaurant to ourselves. There are tables by the window from which you can directly observe the goings-on on the streets of the new town. All in all, simply recommended.

We took a “to-go” frame with us here. We have never eaten such delicious ramen before. We were actually already full of a mega Mexican, but since it was our last evening in Dresden we didn't want to miss out on it either. Super tasty and definitely not a disappointment. Highly recommended and always happy.

Super, super cute restaurant, always decorated as if you were sitting outside in Japan. Despite the relatively small location, there are enough places. The food is super delicious and there is also something for vegetarians. The portions are generous, so you'll definitely be full

Delicious ramen in a rustic Japanese setting!

Very small and cramped, you don't get your own table (despite trying to reserve for two people in advance, which was rejected and dismissed with "just come over, it's fine"). So privacy isn't quite there. Food is okay, prices too. The ambience is authentic and lovingly designed.

If you like it, okay. But there is definitely better ramen out there. Ambiance has come down. A toilet where you can be watched is not possible. You can hear knocking noises etc. from the kitchen. Beer crates as table legs. I ask you... clean, dusting would be appropriate. It's a shame, but I won't come back.

Urigea Restaurant with classic dishes and friendly service.

The food was an absolute disaster! The noodles were far too soft, the meat was tough, the toppings (egg and cabbage) were cold, and the oolong tea was incredibly bitter and undrinkable. The staff didn't respond to criticism and the price was completely inappropriate for the quality. We are very shocked at this point and hope this is an unpleasant exception.

The ramens were Instagram worthy in presentation, but other than that, they were quite bland with the broth missing depth and flavor. Quite overpriced at 14 -15€ each. The service was OK, but not very friendly. Also, the waitress speaks either German or Vietnamese and doesn't speak or understand English, so get your translator app ready for communication.

I visited here wondering what German ramen was like. This time I had the soy sauce ramen for 13.5€ (currently just under 2200 yen). The soup was soy sauce-based and had a good dashi flavor, and was a little sweeter than the Japanese soup. The menma, komatsuna, soft-boiled eggs, and chopped green onions are the same as in Japan. The noodles were medium-thick noodles with a slightly firm texture that went well with the soup and were delicious till the end. This is the only ramen I ate in Europe this time, so I can only compare it with Japanese ramen, but I don't think it would be strange if this was served in Japan. It was delicious.

Cool atmosphere feels like your in Japan, ramen is good, we tried the miso and tonkotsu ramen, the pork in the tonkotsu was delicious! Good price to quality ratio. Would come back. Only thing service is slightly slow and they are busy as they only had one server. Would recommend :)

Honestly shocked by all the reviews saying the ramen is authentic… the tonkatsu flavor profile was totally off and tasted more fishy than pork-like. It was like a Chinese-Vietnamese fusion rather than Japanese. The only positive was the amount of pork. They also forgot our gyoza.

Super tasty, everything freshly prepared, nice staff. We were there twice in a row and would love to come back.

I would prefer to give it 6 stars. A very nicely decorated restaurant and the food was fantastic. It's best to sit at the counter. You almost feel like you're in a real ramen restaurant.

A special place in a special city... If you love Asian simplicity and cheapness, this is the right place for you. We were there as a group of 9 and got a rustic square table with a reservation... just perfect for us. The food is simple, but you feel like you're in Asia...you don't have to guess what it's supposed to taste like...it's well seasoned...but not overly seasoned. We had the curry and a bowl. If you want to criticize: Why are some ingredients cold? Pak choy and snow peas can also be served warm...but they weren't. We had a nice evening there in a location that we hadn't expected there...and were very satisfied!

I ate tonkotsu and it was very tasty! This is my recommendation 🫰 Also a very atmospheric establishment, it was nice to sit by the window.

Very friendly staff and quick service. We first had the typical “mouth pockets” and frames. I have Tonkotsu and wasn't very fond of it. The chicken/miso ramen my companion gave me, however, tasted great. I will also order next time. The ambience is of course not really comparable to a cozy restaurant and is certainly not ideal for long stays (based on previous comments), but I think that's not necessarily the basic idea here either, it's about quick and good food and not about partying for several hours upholstered furniture. I found the furniture and the dishes authentic, we'll be back. Update 11/2024: had Shoyu frames this time, it was okay. Then there was a frame with spicy minced pork (tantan?), which was actually quite good! Usual friendly service!

Mientras que el nombre ( 1974 ) y el interior sugieren un restaurante tradicional japonés, la comida y la actitud de los empleados es lamentablemente sólo otro restaurante intercambiable de estilo asiático. Esto es una verdadera pena, no solo porque los lugares japoneses auténticos asustan en Dresde, sino también porque el lugar pretende ser diferente.

Los japoneses se horrorizarían si comieran aquí. Tomé ramen tonkastu y gyoza. Tenía mejor gyoza empaquetada que compré en la tienda de comestibles. Esto era básicamente eso. Es muy crujiente por fuera y seco por dentro. El ramen no era ramen. En serio, ¿qué clase de reunión hicieron allí? Se conocieron como de Pho y carne magullada de una sopa china. No olvides al chico Choy. ¿Es esta fusión comida china japonesa vietnamita? ¿Fui testigo de mi propio asesinato? Estoy empezando a dudar de todas estas críticas de otros.

There were two of us for dinner on Saturday evening, it would have been better to have a reservation, luckily we found a place, even in a crowded restaurant, the service came within moments and the ramen was also on the table within 10 minutes. I had tonkotsu and my friend miso with chicken. It was less of a shock for me that there was a large piece of pork belly in the ramen, luckily the taste reminded me a little of Czech pork belly and the fear was gone. The ramen is different from, for example, what I am used to from Prague, where it is probably more adapted to us Czechs, but I still rate it positively. A pleasant and tasty visit. Toilets ok. I recommend booking in advance for the evenings.

We chose the miso and shoyu ramen and were absolutely thrilled and more than satisfied. The atmosphere is great and we personally really liked the fact that there were some pictures from the anime “Naruto” on the wall 😀 Absolutely delicious and recommended - we will definitely come back on our next trip!

The food was delicious, place looks like you are in Japan. Unfortunately it is not kid and wheel chair friendly, because the place was quite small.

Visité esta tienda Ramen en 2019 cuando abrieron y estuve visitando Dresde con mis amigos. Volvió este año en dos visitas a Dresde y cenamos un par de veces. Todavía el mismo buen ramen de cerdo, gran sopa y carne, siempre tomo el Kimchi que es genial y tuve la oportunidad de probar la Gyoza también. En general, una buena experiencia, a veces el personal es difícil de comunicarse con, pero eso no es un gran problema. Gracias!

Nice atmosphere and that's it. Waitress rude, was more interested in her boyfriend. Waited 15 minutes for the drinks and then another 15 minutes for the food. By the way, the food was cold and the meat was of poor quality. Save your money and go to the next store

The food is really incredibly delicious. I could particularly fall for the Kakuni. Unfortunately the prices have gotten really high

We had to wait a long time for our order even though there were very few people there. Likewise, others who came in later than us were served before us. Tables very uncomfortable. The tables are very low.

I had a bowl of tuna. It was just disgusting. The smell was musty, the food was poorly put together, you really don't sit well (even if that's probably the charm of the restaurant), I personally would never go there again. However, the people are very nice

Very authentic restaurant with great food.

The food was great. But what was really annoying is the people running the place. I just felt they were a bit condescending. I did get the feeling that it was to do with my nationality as I had done nothing to be treated that way. I was not rude, or loud or demanding. I ordered and waited and got my food. However, I asked for water and it never came. No one came and asked if I'd like something to drink. I asked for a bill after paying, and was completely ignored. Infact I went to the counter to settle the bill to save them the trouble. Did not see the same happen to the other customers. So feel it was more targeted to me and my guest. In short, great food but horrible service. Food not worth the bad treatment.

Ramen und Gyoza waren sehr lecker, wir hatten jeder ein anderes und alle waren sehr lecker. Auf Extrawünsche wird im Rahmen des möglichen eingegangen. Extra wie mehr Nudeln oder extra Ei sind möglich.

We spontaneously got a larger table in the evening and received a friendly welcome. Nice service even when there is a lot to do. Everyone was happy with the ramen (or 1x bowl). The ramen really has a lot of content and tastes good. Hence good P/L. In winter I can imagine that the seats at the entrance are not nice as it gets quite draughty. Toilet is fine.

It was my first time eating ramen and unfortunately I wasn't entirely impressed. First we had a place where cold air was constantly blowing at us in cold October. After the service came after 15 minutes, we asked for a new place. Then we sat directly in front of the counter, none of the seats were very comfortable. Everything was kept very small and cramped. The service was ok, it was quite busy so they seemed a bit overwhelmed to me. The food was also ok, but I found the starters even better, like the ramen.

The ramen and gyoza were really delicious! We each had a different version and they all tasted great. Extra requests are accommodated wherever possible - for example, you can order extras such as more noodles or an additional egg and swap things out in the ramen. The restaurant also offers a nice atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. Overall, highly recommended!

Absolutely recommended! A gem in that city :) the vegan tantan was very good.

The food was good, but service was terrible. After ignoring us for about 15 minutes, instead of handing us the menus the waiter rudely asked us to move to a smaller table where we had to seat back to back with other people just to put a "reserved" sign on our table. There was no "reserved" sign when we first came. It was extremely rude and heavily spoiled the overall impression of the restaurant. 4 for food, 1 for service. Also, an egg was missing in my ramen.

Wir hatten das Tekkadon und das Tonkatsu Curry. Der Thunfisch war völlig übergart, damit trocken und geschmacklos, schade um den Fisch. Dazu gab es kalten pak choi. Das "Curry" ist eine dicke pastenartige Tunke mit leichtem Currypulver Geschmack vom Discounter. Dazu ungewürzten Klebreis und ebenfalls kalten pak choi. Die 5 Zuckerschoten und die Sprossen sind ebenso kalt und ungewürzt, das Hühnerschnitzel ist zumindest in Tranchen geschnitten. Das beste an unserer Bestellung war das Fladchenbier. Zum essen braucht man nicht unbedingt dorthin gehen aber nettes Personal und schöne Deko.
