I've known the Raj restaurant for about a year now. The atmosphere is always good, and the decor is also top-notch and in a pretty Indian style. You always feel immediately comfortable and invited. As for the food: No matter what you try here, be it food served on a hot plate, butter chicken, soups, and much more, it is always more than just delicious, and the portions are huge too. The starters are also really tasty, like the garlic bread, my favorite. And if you don't want to eat anything and just want to sit somewhere and relax and drink a cocktail, this is the best place for you. There is a large selection, from weak to very strong cocktails, and they are all always delicious. I haven't had a single one that I didn't like, and at €8.90, that's a really great price. And the service is simply fantastic. I haven't seen people with such good service for a long time, and they are always so friendly. You can tell they have their hearts in the right place. I stopped by here one evening on a bike ride with my young daughter, when there were already no other guests. We received a very warm welcome and service, the food was delicious, my daughter received several gifts, and at the end, the owner even gave us a blanket for my daughter so she wouldn't freeze for the rest of the tour in the cargo bike. We will always remember Raj fondly and definitely recommend him!

Delicious cocktails and Indian delicacies. The restaurant is centrally located near the market square. There's a lovely outdoor terrace, partially covered. We started with cocktails, of which there was a wide selection. Delicious and fruity. Then we followed the recommendation and had 'Polak Gosht,' lamb with spinach, ginger, garlic, and special Indian spices, cooked in a sophisticated 'Punjabi style,' with a mixed salad. Accompanied by fluffy basmati rice, it was simply delicious. The portion was generous. The service was fast and friendly. The value for money was right. If you like something a little more exotic, this is the place for you.

A fantastic Indian restaurant that certainly holds its own against the best Indian restaurants in Berlin. Delicious dishes with perfectly used spices and super friendly hosts. Whenever we want to treat ourselves as a family, we love going to Raj. It's a very homely atmosphere and highly recommended!

A culinary gem in Zehdenick – Restaurant Raj Who would have thought that such a taste experience would be hidden in a small village like Zehdenick? Restaurant Raj is by far the best restaurant within a 20-kilometer radius if you're craving authentic Indian food – a wonderful change from the usual Greek, Italian, or Spanish cuisine. Special mention must be made of the owner, Billa, who works true magic with his hands – not only in the kitchen, but especially at the bar! His cocktails and freshly prepared juices are legendary. The mango lassi is a dream, and the ginger and mint lemonade is an absolute must. Anyone visiting Raj shouldn't miss trying at least one Billa drink – they alone are worth the visit! The food is also impressive across the board. It tastes wonderfully authentic, even if the spiciness has been slightly adjusted to suit German tastes. My personal highlight on my last visit was the lamb biryani – tender meat, perfectly seasoned, simply heavenly. A place with heart, taste, and an atmosphere that keeps you coming back. Highly recommended!

It was a great pleasure to visit Raj Restaurant in Zehdenick. A small town with a really nice and beautiful Indian restaurant. The owners are very polite and their hospitality is great. The food is soo tasty and the naan is delicious. They have veg and non veg options. Hopefully I will visit them again.

We have stayed at the Raj several times when in the area on business. We are always impressed by the very good food and the super friendly service. The best place to sit is in the winter garden. The Sizzling Brownie dessert is highly recommended. We'll be back.

I travelled to Templin with my family and 2 other families early April. About 20mins from Templin, we encountered this place. The food was tasty and the service was wonderful. I especially recommend the Lamb bhuna gosht - we had it on 2 successive days.

Six months ago we thought it was pretty good and went again. Service was friendly but had to be called. The lentil soup tasted like "dishwashing water", the vegetables (peppers and onions) in the dish were relatively undercooked (just hard), the chicken was good, but overall the food was dry and boring in taste. This could be done much better with very few tricks 😉. The vegetarian version No. 28 was okay. The Aperol Sprizz...was already different from what we know last time, but that's not bad. 😉 Personally, I think Prosecco would be better instead of OJ. And apart from the fact that the light went out in the middle of going to the toilet 🙈 there was nothing to criticize about the cleanliness and furnishings. 👍 Conclusion: it wasn't entirely bad, but it wasn't a burner either. 🤷‍♀️ But it's not enough to come back too quickly.

Was the best Indian place I've been to so far. The three dipping sauces you get tasted very interesting, except for the red one, which was okay. And the starter was good. These triangles.

In the end, in addition to the delicious mixed starter platter, which not only looked good and was served with three sauces, there was also a very tasty mango duck and a really delicious lamb korma. Unexpected things often happen, we arrived at the port of Zehdenick late on Monday, were hungry and were looking for a restaurant. Unfortunately, many things were closed. We then chose the Raj. We are not really familiar with Indian cuisine but we were very impressed and surprised. We ate very well, were served very friendly and had a nice chat with the manager of the house.

We were there on a Saturday, July 13th for the first birthday. We were a large group of family and friends, but the service was super quick. Despite the large number of guests, the service was not overwhelmed at all and everything arrived on time. The guest never has the feeling that everything is stressful for the staff, the owners always had a smile on their face. Paneer Makhni and Chicken Korma are highly recommended! The Bhatura is larger than other restaurants and fills you up well. They also have interesting cocktails :) We'll be back at the next birthday party :D

I tried different restaurant in berlin and Brandenburg area for sure Raj Indisches restaurant is among the best. Real Punjabi taste try Chicken Tikka, Palak Gosht, Tandoori Chicken, Batora, Cocktail's.

It was very tasty and the food was on the table quickly. Pakora as a starter with very tasty sauces and Korma as a main course. It doesn't look like much in the small bowls, but that's deceptive, we were very full and satisfied afterwards. Unfortunately we couldn't fit any more dessert, we would have loved to try the Sizzling Brownie. Overall, highly recommended! Our spot in the covered walkway area wasn't quite as quiet, but it was too sunny outside. Very friendly staff. However, unusually often someone came by and asked if everything was okay, that's nice, but it doesn't have to be 8 times during the meal. The fact that children were running around and playing catch between the tables didn't have to happen, but that's okay. Recommendation from us, we would eat here again! 👍👍👍

I loved this restaurant. The outdoor area is really fabulously designed and you immediately feel at home. Plus the Indian details that you see everywhere. Care was also taken to ensure that there is a baby changing table in the toilet so that you can easily eat with a baby. In addition, you can find a parking space quickly and it doesn't cost anything. There were even several of us and they served us really well and responded to our wishes. The food was very tasty and warm as well as the delicious cocktails. I would recommend eating bread pakora which is filled with cheese and potatoes. At the end they also surprised us with a sweet dessert. The employees are very helpful and friendly and you immediately feel understood. It's a really nice atmosphere if you want to celebrate a birthday or if you go out for a nice meal with the family. You can find many vegetarian dishes and there is something for everyone. I recommend the restaurant and enjoy your meal if you go.

Best restaurant here in Zehdenick. I love eating there. The employees are super friendly and the food is also super good. I'm happy every time I go out to eat there with my family because it's always fun to eat there and try the extremely delicious food and especially these extremely delicious cocktails. I recommend you go there and try and enjoy the cocktails because they are really incredibly tasty and you will always be surprised. We were here last Sunday, June 23rd. The two young people are trying very hard. As a guest you immediately have their attention and for me that is good service. We don't know much about Indian cuisine, but we were given good advice, the chef explained everything and it tasted good. Gladly again.
