Sehr liebevoll zubereitete Gerichte- sowohl im Geschmack als auch optisch, exzellenter Reis und Salat, sehr angenehmes Personal und blickiger, freundlicher Chef, schöne Lage am Zehdenicker Markt. Erst im fernen Berlin habe ich vergleichbares bei den besten ‚Indern‘ erlebt.

Ich war schon fünf oder sechs Mal hier und bin jedes Mal von den leckeren Speisen begeistert. Das Personal ist außerdem sehr höflich und zuvorkommend. Sie haben mir verschiedene Gerichte empfohlen. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist sehr groß.

Gestern war ich mit einer Freundin in diesem Restaurant essen. Das Essen war hervorragend und sehr lecker. Die Bedienung war überaus höflich und hilfsbereit, was unseren Besuch noch angenehmer machte. Ich habe den Besuch sehr genossen und komme gerne wieder.

Also, wo soll ich anfangen… ich habe gestern (31.12.2025 - 01.01.2026) richtig hart einen gesoffen, und das war lustig, ohne Spaß. Aber das tut nicht zur Sache, worauf ich hinauswollte, das Essen schmeckte wie mein Rückwärtsgegessenes von gestrigen Abend. Traurig, eigentlich war der Laden unter meinen Top 3 in der Stadt. Hinzu kommt, das der Kellner meinen Bruder abzocken wollte, welches Tatmotiv, ist nicht bekannt. Fakt ist, das ich in meiner Lebenszeit, selbst wenn ich zu verhungern drohe, nicht mehr einen Fuß in dieses Etablissmaint setzen werde. Aber der Cocktail war gut 👍 bis dahin, gute Besserung!

Heute war ich das zum ersten Mal in diesem schönen Restaurant,Ich war positiv überrascht, es war hier alles sehr sauber und es ist unbedingt empfehlenswert. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und ist meine Wünsche eingegangen. Das Essen war super lecker 😋 😋 😋 😋 😋 und ausreichend, ich werde bestimmt wieder kommen.

Es scheint ein Wechsel des Personals stattgefunden zu haben, denn dieses Mal waren die Beiden anderen sehr unaufmerksam, man müsste lange warten. Er hat nur mit meinem Freund gesprochen. Und zum Schluss wollte er mir vorschreiben, dass ich nur ein Absacker ohne Alkohol bekommen kann.

Fantastisches Essen, angefangen beim Reis hin zu jedem Gericht hat alles sehr aromatisch und einzigartig geschmeckt. Sehr freundliches Personal, große Empfehlung

Authentic Indian cuisine in Zehdenick! The food at Raj is excellent, freshly prepared, and exceptionally plentiful. The service staff deserves special mention: extremely courteous, professional, and yet pleasantly humorous. A restaurant where you feel completely at home – we would love to return!

I've known the Raj restaurant for about a year now. The atmosphere is always good, and the decor is also top-notch and in a pretty Indian style. You always feel immediately comfortable and invited. As for the food: No matter what you try here, be it food served on a hot plate, butter chicken, soups, and much more, it is always more than just delicious, and the portions are huge too. The starters are also really tasty, like the garlic bread, my favorite. And if you don't want to eat anything and just want to sit somewhere and relax and drink a cocktail, this is the best place for you. There is a large selection, from weak to very strong cocktails, and they are all always delicious. I haven't had a single one that I didn't like, and at €8.90, that's a really great price. And the service is simply fantastic. I haven't seen people with such good service for a long time, and they are always so friendly. You can tell they have their hearts in the right place. I stopped by here one evening on a bike ride with my young daughter, when there were already no other guests. We received a very warm welcome and service, the food was delicious, my daughter received several gifts, and at the end, the owner even gave us a blanket for my daughter so she wouldn't freeze for the rest of the tour in the cargo bike. We will always remember Raj fondly and definitely recommend him!

We started with cocktails, of which there was a wide selection. Delicious and fruity. Then we followed the recommendation and had 'Polak Gosht,' lamb with spinach, ginger, garlic, and special Indian spices, cooked in a sophisticated 'Punjabi style,' with a mixed salad. Accompanied by fluffy basmati rice, it was simply delicious. The portion was generous. The service was fast and friendly. The value for money was right. If you like something a little more exotic, this is the place for you.

A fantastic Indian restaurant that certainly holds its own against the best Indian restaurants in Berlin. Delicious dishes with perfectly used spices and super friendly hosts. Whenever we want to treat ourselves as a family, we love going to Raj. It's a very homely atmosphere and highly recommended!

Restaurant Raj is by far the best restaurant within a 20-kilometer radius if you're craving authentic Indian food – a wonderful change from the usual Greek, Italian, or Spanish cuisine. Special mention must be made of the owner, Billa, who works true magic with his hands – not only in the kitchen, but especially at the bar! His cocktails and freshly prepared juices are legendary. The mango lassi is a dream, and the ginger and mint lemonade is an absolute must. Anyone visiting Raj shouldn't miss trying at least one Billa drink – they alone are worth the visit! The food is also impressive across the board. It tastes wonderfully authentic, even if the spiciness has been slightly adjusted to suit German tastes. My personal highlight on my last visit was the lamb biryani – tender meat, perfectly seasoned, simply heavenly. A place with heart, taste, and an atmosphere that keeps you coming back. It was a great pleasure to visit Raj Restaurant in Zehdenick. A small town with a really nice and beautiful Indian restaurant. The owners are very polite and their hospitality is great. The food is soo tasty and the naan is delicious. They have veg and non veg options. Hopefully I will visit them again.

We have stayed at the Raj several times when in the area on business. We are always impressed by the very good food and the super friendly service. The best place to sit is in the winter garden. The Sizzling Brownie dessert is highly recommended. We'll be back.

Six months ago we thought it was pretty good and went again. Service was friendly but had to be called. The lentil soup tasted like "dishwashing water", the vegetables (peppers and onions) in the dish were relatively undercooked (just hard), the chicken was good, but overall the food was dry and boring in taste. This could be done much better with very few tricks 😉. The vegetarian version No. 28 was okay. The Aperol Sprizz...was already different from what we know last time, but that's not bad. 😉 Personally, I think Prosecco would be better instead of OJ. And apart from the fact that the light went out in the middle of going to the toilet 🙈 there was nothing to criticize about the cleanliness and furnishings. 👍 Conclusion: it wasn't entirely bad, but it wasn't a burner either. 🤷‍♀️ But it's not enough to come back too quickly.
