Despite the simple ambiance, the food is delicious, home-style cooking with generous portions and moderate prices. Very friendly service, and there's no extra charge if you skip the potatoes and get a bit more salad. Unlike other local restaurants, you feel welcome there, rather than being fobbed off with unexpected surcharges or unfriendly communication when making reservations. Always happy to return.

It's about time these stars were upgraded. 🤗 You deserve it. Whether... at lunchtime, on vacation. Or... in a cozy evening. But only... by phone or in person. Reserved seats in the restaurant. What seems important. The service, always a kind word and approachable towards guests. The cook, with extensive experience. Not only in the kitchen. 👍 The food, whether chicken... schnitzel or rump steak... super delicious. Simply... delicious. 😂 Above all... imaginatively and colorfully presented.♥️ We hope... that the wooden spoon will continue to be swung here for a long time to come. And that the service will continue to be loving. Also worth mentioning: the restrooms are very clean. Parking... right outside the door. 😎 One small minus star... The name of the restaurant. The opening hours...from 5 p.m. would also be great. Also a shame that... when it gets warmer...you can't sit outside, even though there's a wide pedestrian and bike path. Otherwise... Saturday,...November 26, 2022🤔 6 p.m., once again, at a German restaurant, for dinner. Walked... here... walked, but To my surprise, or total disappointment, I found it closed. 🙄 But... online, it was shown as open. The notice said, Closed due to bulk shopping. Mon+Tue anyway...closed Selgros or Metro...in Magdeburg, are, or should have been, open from 7:00 a.m. If you even go there. But they complain that no one goes for German food anymore, how could they, when the shopping trip at a weird hour seems more important... Or... did the notice serve as an excuse, because there was a light inside.😷 Guests are... Not seen as welcome here.☹️

It was a bit disappointing that we couldn't get a table in the restaurant without a prior phone reservation. Unfortunately, we weren't able to reach anyone by phone. We would have loved to try the dishes on offer; perhaps we'll be able to make a reservation next time. We hope to gain a positive impression of the cuisine then.

Wer die Deutsche Küche mag, ist hier richtig. Alles frisch zubereitet und vom freundlichen Personal fix serviert. Schaut einfach mal rein, es ist dort urgemütlich.

Hallo, heute waren wir mal hier spontan zum Mittagessen eingekehrt. Hier gibt es in einem kleinen gemütlichen Ambiente ( im Eisenbahner-Stiel ) eine schöne Auswahl an rustikalen Gerichten die auch wirklich sehr lecker sind. Der Preis für die Gerichte und Getränke ist wirklich angemessen und nicht überteuert. Uns hat es allen sehr geschmeckt, unsere Kinder waren auch sehr zufrieden und satt waren wir auch alle. Die Bedienung ist auch hier sehr nett und höflich. Und die Essen werden hier frisch zubereitet. 👍😉

Das ist ein sehr gut geführtes, kleines aber vorzeigbares Restaurant nicht allein für Lokführer und deren Angehörige.
