Quan Ngon in Bad Berneck i.Fichtelgebirge

Wir waren letzte Woche in der Mittagszeit bei Quan Ngon. Das anwesende Personal war eher unfreundlich bis mürrisch. Die Auswahl an Mahlzeiten ist gut, die Mengen sind ausreichend und preislich ok. Maggi-Soße zum Würzen? Geschmacklich durchschnittlich - nicht schlecht, aber auch nicht besonders gut. Alles in allem und mangels Restaurant-Auswahl in Bad Berneck ist Quan Ngon eine Alternative zur fränkischen Küche: wer Hunger hat wird satt und ist danach wenigstens ein bisschen zufrieden.

Wir gehen sehr gerne in das Restaurant und holen uns auch öfter was für Zuhause. Essen und Preise sind sehr gut ( Preis Leistung ist sehr gut)

Heute haben wir erstmalig die vietnamesische Küche bei Quan Ngon in Bad Berneck ausprobiert und waren total begeistert.

Das Essen war ganz gut, die Bedienung sehr nett! Aber sie verlangten dreieinhalb Pfund für ein Glas Wasser… Wir sprechen kein Deutsch, und als wir fragten, ob wir die Rechnung unterschreiben müssten, wurde sie wütend und schickte uns raus!

Verstehe die hohe Bewertung leider nicht so ganz. Das Essen war sehr durchschnittlich und die Ente sehr durchwachsen, nicht knusprig. Süß sauer Sauce bedeutet hier man holt sich selbst eine Flasche Maggi Asia Sauce. Als Berliner ist man deutlich besseres gewohnt. Schade.

Authentisches leckeres vietnamesisches Essen. Es gab auch Sushi, japanisch und typische Asia Küche.

Das Essen und alles andere ist echt cool 🤗 wir empfehlen weiter!!

Ich war 3x hier essen, im Jahr 2025 und jetzt im März 2026, die Qualität und auch der Geschmack sind volle 5 Sterne, genauso wie der Service. Von allen asiatischen Restaurants die ich kenne, ist das meine Nr. 1! Absolute Empfehlung

Das Essen ist super lecker, egal was man sich bestellt. Der Spruch "das Auge isst mit" kann ich nur bestätigen. Es wird mit Liebe und Leidenschaft gekocht denn anders kann ich mir das nicht erklären warum es so lecker ist 😋. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist einfach nur Top👍. Ich komme sehr gerne hier her. Das Ambiente bekommt nur 4 Sterne weil es doch etwas "spärlich" eingerichtet ist und man ja den Leuten die das Lesen ja bestmögliche Eindrücke geben möchte. Ein Asiate der sich seit Jahren in Bad Berneck hält sagt aber alles über die Qualität aus finde ich.

Ich und mein Mann sind sehr kritisch was Sushi angeht, alleine weil die meisten es geschmacklich mit dem Reis usw nicht hinbekommen. Unser liebelings Sushi laden war in Bayreuth ,,Miss Vietnam", dass war das Restaurant was kein anderer topen kann für uns. Als wir dann nach Bad Berneck gegangen sind waren wir sehr überrascht, normalerweise gingen wir von Himmelkron bis nach Bayreuth zum Sushi essen. Aber als wir dann gesehen haben, dass in Bad Berneck auch einer geöffnet hat sind wir direkt hingegangen. Wie gesagt wir waren sehr überrascht weil das Essen sich sehr ähnelt und haben dann beschlossen nicht mehr für Sushi extra nach Bayreuth zu fahren. Es sind die gleichen Preise für das gleiche essen und es lohnt sich mehr dort hinzugehen + das Essen wird auch schön angerichtet mit viel Salat, Ingwer und Wasabi. Im großen und ganzen hat Bayreuth eine ehrliche Konkurrenz. 🍣♥️ + ich würde mich freuen wenn sie auch liefern würden 🤭

Gebratenes Hähnchen des öfteren dort gegessen schmeckt immer wieder gut

Das Essen war überwiegend lecker, die Portionen reichhaltig. Das Entenfleisch leider sehr durchwachsen. Hähnchen und Sushi sehr gut. Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Wir hohlen uns hier regelmäßig Sushi und wurden noch nie enttäuscht der tolle Geschmack und gute Service hat uns von Anfang an überzeugt

Hier fühlt man sich sofort wohl: super gemütlich, liebevoll eingerichtet und einfach zum Entspannen. Das Essen ist richtig lecker und frisch – absolut empfehlenswert. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Besitzerin, die unglaublich nett und herzlich ist. Man merkt, dass ihr das Wohl der Gäste wirklich am Herzen liegt.

I'm wondering where to begin my review – probably with the service. It reeked of racism. Let me briefly tell you a bit about myself: I'm Ukrainian, but I look a bit like a Muslim, even though I'm not. From the very beginning, I was treated like some kind of domestic worker – they probably thought I was another food delivery person. The woman at the register showed absolutely no friendliness. She greeted other customers with a smile, but not me. It seemed as if she were looking at me with contempt. When I was already at the register – and I should add that no one brought me a menu; I had to get one myself – I chose the most expensive set menu and sushi. The moment I got to the register, a woman came to collect her order. They practically pushed me aside to serve her first, as if I wasn't even there. All the guests who came in after me were greeted warmly, and their meals and drinks were brought to them immediately. Not me – I had to get everything myself from the bar. And when my order was ready, it was handed to me completely without any emotion. Secondly, the most expensive set and the sushi were given to me without any bag; I had to carry everything home open in my hands. The sushi itself looked as if it had been put together from leftovers from previous orders (photo attached). I haven't tried it yet because the whole experience has completely put me off my food. An hour has already passed since I bought it and drove home. This restaurant was recommended to me—but I can't recommend it.

Very good food at fair prices. Pickup usually takes 15-25 minutes, rarely longer. We've been regular customers for almost two years and have never been disappointed. 👍

We enjoy eating here regularly and can never decide with the wide selection of dishes. The portions are very generous, the service is attentive, and everything is delicious. We've always been very satisfied and would gladly return 😊

Super delicious food with generous but not overly large portions. I had the 181 and the spring rolls were incredibly delicious. We were served by a tall, young, blond man who was very polite and courteous. Unfortunately, he wasn't the one who took the cash, but his (presumably) boss.

Quan Ngon has the feel of a snack bar. The interior, in particular, is uninviting. I'd say it's rather uncomfortable. The service was friendly but not very attentive, even though we were the only customers. What bothered me most about the menu was that all the Chinese and Vietnamese dishes were labeled as Vietnamese. My Chinese chicken dish was okay but nothing special; a Germanized Asian dish with ready-made sauce, like in all snack bars. Unfortunately, all the Vietnamese dishes came with noodles; otherwise, I would have preferred a Vietnamese dish.

We only ordered sushi, and it was delicious. There are many special rolls that I'd never heard of before and found very interesting. The service was always friendly and they gave us excellent advice and served us well. We'll definitely be back.

I often order something here to pick up. I've only had good experiences; the selection is large and the portions are enormous for the price. I'm always happy to come back.

The food is delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced. The service is also very friendly. The ambiance is a bit austere, though. It's a bit echoey and chilly.

We absolutely love Quan Ngon! The service is always incredibly friendly, and the food is simply delicious. We have been here several times and tried a variety of dishes, from Asian salads and stir-fried noodles with vegetables to rice dishes with various veggies and sauces, as well as sushi. Everything is always super fresh, and the sushi, in particular, is outstanding. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing Asian cuisine!

We ate here at the restaurant based on a recommendation. At the beginning I had a lot of concerns about the service because of the reviews. But we weren't disappointed. The young man in service was very helpful and extremely friendly. The waiting times for food/drinks were completely okay, despite the fact that those picking up were still served at the same time. The food was very good and tasted convincing. The next day we ordered food to take away. That also worked great. 👍 Gladly again.

Were there for the first time today. The service was very nice. Food was very tasty 😋 Waiting time for food was 20 minutes. Definitely coming back.

We also had to wait half an eternity for an order to even be taken. After about an hour we got our drinks. In the meantime, mind you, at least 20 people were served “to-go” food. The food finally arrived after 1.5 hours (simple pasta dishes, spring rolls). The service was also absolutely lackluster and didn't really make an effort to "move forward". Overall, the food was okay, but the crispy duck was anything but crispy. Picking up food is obviously possible, but I strongly advise against eating there.

Food good. Unfortunately, waiting times are too long. You can wait up to 2 hours for the food. Guests in the restaurant are ignored. Priority is given to take-away callers. At peak times you can't reach anyone by phone to order food. Too much demand, but apparently too little staff and capacity. Too bad!!

At the beginning there was a polite greeting in the form of the sentence: “At the window!” This spectacular guest experience continued with the information after our 1st order that there were no more fried noodles and sushi would take 1 hour. After a long wait of over 1.5 hours for simple pasta dishes, the service staff had no opportunity to ask whether you would like something more to drink. In the meantime, 25 guests came and were allowed to pick up their orders. When we received our food after our almost biblical period of hunger, we have to say that the food tasted good. This experience was rounded off with the statement that it would be possible to receive dessert as an apology. It has to be said that there was really only one dessert for only one person out of 5 people. So we cheered for the winner of this dessert and paid.

We were driving on the highway and stopped here for a quick bite to eat. We were thrilled when we came out. The portions are very large and the prices are reasonable. The service was nice. Unfortunately the atmosphere was a bit too quiet and there was no music playing in the background. Otherwise everything was great.

Was there for the first time today, the visit was spontaneous. Sushi was ok but I have to say it tastes better in Bayreuth. In itself it was ok, but I don't understand when the place is almost empty why a drink is forgotten or you have to wait or ask 🤔 well, there's nothing wrong, maybe it was that kind of day.

First of all, the sushi tasted good. Some of the sushi rolls were really very small. I also found it relatively expensive. Bottom line, I would say that with the Bayreuth competition you get the same amount of food for the same money. But that must be due to the expensive rents in Bad Berneck.

First of all, the prices are fair compared to Bayreuth. I had a main course with crispy duck, rice, vegetables and curry sauce. The rice wasn't overcooked, the vegetables still had a bit of a bite to them and the crispy duck was ok. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the sauce, as it is also an extremely important factor in this dish. Unfortunately, the curry sauce didn't taste like curry at all, but it was slightly spicy as described. 3 stars because the sauce wasn't really good, the food was filling, but I probably wouldn't order it again (at least not the same dish).

Really always very tasty and fresh. The Vietnamese dishes in particular are delicious, but the sushi doesn't need to be hidden either.

The food was excellent. Unfortunately, the service decreased over the course of the evening, so that someone was often sitting in front of an empty glass. The ambience is also more functional than cozy. Highly recommended for eating, I would then change to another restaurant for the cozy part.

A restaurant that offers a mix of Vietnamese and Japanese cuisine. As usual, the Asian menu is very extensive and offers something for every taste. We spent a pleasant evening with generous portions and good service. The ambience has an Asian touch and is quite practical, but does not quite offer the Asian elegance that you find in other establishments, which may also be due to the surroundings and the possibilities of the property. Overall, we recommend a visit just because of the cuisine, the food and the friendly staff.

Vorab: das Essen war sehr gut und eine große gute Auswahl. Ganz besonders gut haben uns die Frühlingsrollen geschmeckt, die offenbar selbst zubereitet waren. Alles war hübsch angerichtet. Service: hatte absolut keine Lust auf Gäste und nachdem wir unser Essen hatten, kam keiner mehr. Wir haben keine Getränke mehr bekommen, wir haben keinen Nachtisch bekommen und saßen mindestens 20 Minuten alle vor leeren Tellern und Gläsern (siehe Bild) Dafür hat der Mann hinter der Bar sehr laut Videos auf seinem Handy geschaut. Wir haben dann selbst jemanden gebeten, dass wir bitte zahlen möchten, der Herr sprach wohl leider kein Deutsch, weshalb er erst wen holen musste. Das dauerte wieder etwas. Ich habe das dann gesagt, dass es uns sehr geschmeckt hat, wir aber gerne noch etwas bestellt hätten, aber keiner da war. Da kam nur ein: Ja sorry. Zum Essen mitnehmen sicher ein gutes Lokal.

Gutes Essen mit Anfangs angemessenem Service, der leider stark nachgelassen hat, als wir unser Essen hatten. Niemand kam mehr, um zu fragen, ob wir etwas trinken oder später eine Nachspeise wollen und der Tisch wurde bis zum Schluss nicht abgeräumt.

Kleiner Laden, aber wirklich gut gemachtes Essen. Wird gerne wieder besucht

Wir waren am Dienstag den 7.3.2023 im Restaurant, alles war Prima, allerdings war nicht so viel los, es war Nett die Inhaber freundlich. Das Essen war sehr Lecker und die Portionen sehr reichhaltig. Wir werden wieder hin gehen.
