Tasty and inexpensive (under today's circumstances)

We had fried noodles with baked chicken...the noodles were okay, but there were very few vegetables. All three of us tried the chicken and then couldn't eat it. The meat was far too dry and very marbled; unfortunately, it just didn't taste good. The restaurant's decor doesn't really invite you to eat there; you'd rather eat in the comfort of your own home. But the staff were very friendly.

Great Chinese food with lots of flavor enhancers at a reasonable price! What more could you want? My stomach doesn't like it, but my head does.

We wanted to have lunch here on a Friday, so we quickly made a reservation online via Google Maps late the previous Thursday evening. But we didn't receive a reservation confirmation before our visit. A reservation wasn't necessary on our Friday, as there were plenty of free seats. We were recommended a table. The menus were there, so we could choose our dishes right away. A short time later, we were asked for our order. Maybe 5 minutes later, the soup of the day arrived. This was a spinach soup, lukewarm, with no real seasoning, a clear broth with spinach leaves. Immediately afterward, the main course was served hot. Crispy duck with vegetables in a mango-coconut sauce was okay, lots of vegetables, broccoli, peppers, and mushrooms, not Asian enough for me. The duck meat was crispy, but also dry. The sauce was very good, although it also had mango slices, which were a bit rubbery. Fried noodles with crispy duck and vegetables were also okay, with carrot strips and bamboo shoots. Here, too, the duck was crispy and dry. What a shame! After finishing our meal, we waited for service, and apparently no one wanted to ask if we enjoyed it or ask for payment. Later, the server wouldn't pass our table without seeing us. Please show more interest in the guests. Less restaurant, more snack bar.
