An absolute recommendation! The samosas are fantastic, just like everything else! My favorite restaurant for years!

A restaurant with a cozy and well-maintained atmosphere. It's run by a polite and warm-hearted couple. Whether you're looking for an appetizer, a main course, or a combination, whether you prefer meat or vegan options, everything is highly recommended. The homemade lemonade or a refined tea selection, paired with a delicious tandoori dish, are my personal favorites. Need more sauce or extra rice? No problem, they'll promptly fulfill your request. It's the only restaurant in AB that I know of (and I know quite a few) that still uses cloth napkins. A nice touch, in my opinion. A definite recommendation: Give it a try! The cocktails are also delicious and expertly mixed. The Caipirinha was really potent. Take the train to AB. Cross the street to the restaurant. Enjoy a delicious and well-appointed meal. It's a ten-minute walk to the AB Christmas Market. A great plan! 👍🏼🙂

I ordered here for the first time yesterday. The order was placed through Uber Eats. ... We had a special offer: Tandoori Chicken 2 for the price of 1 Plus a wrap. When the delivery arrived, which was on time, and I even tipped the driver, we discovered upon opening one of the bags that one of the Tandoori Chickens was missing. Great – food for three, but only two delivered. We couldn't get anywhere with the app, so I called the restaurant directly. The man kept telling me they hadn't done anything wrong and that it was entirely my fault that one of the dishes was missing. After talking to him for a while, he said they were busy and would call back later. I asked them to simply send the missing dish, no matter how long it took. He hung up. Of course, I never received a call back or the missing dish. Regarding the taste of the delivered food, I can only say – it wasn't to my liking. It was also cold, and the wrap was missing the sauce. It's a shame, but I won't be ordering from here again.

I ordered through Lieferando and waited over two hours for my order. When I called to inquire, I was simply told the driver was stuck in traffic. When I asked when he would arrive, I was told "I have no idea," and the owner just hung up. When I called again, he claimed the connection had dropped. When I asked for an estimate of the arrival time, I received a curt reply: "Do you know when you'll arrive stuck in traffic?" When I said that Google Maps would show me, he hung up again. The tone was rude, disrespectful, and completely inappropriate. No information, no apology, no service. After a two-hour wait, this is absolutely unacceptable. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

The best I have ever experienced; the food was delicious and superbly seasoned.

Ordered on just eat with delivery and was accepted but never arrived. I then noticed was only 300m away from my hotel and shutting in 15 mins I ordered over 1 hour ago so I walked over. They didn't seem to get order and claimed I never paid and tried charging me again. Food was cooked once I arrived. After much explaining and showing my bank payments he eventually said go. But only after I said dont worry I will take up with just eat. Never got my drink also. Bad experience but food was ok.

I was in Aschaffenburg with some friends, and we stumbled upon this restaurant by chance! The food was incredibly delicious, and the service was super warm and friendly! The ambiance has a wonderful oriental touch, and combined with the food, it truly felt like being transported to South Asia for a moment. Highly recommended; we'll definitely be back!

An absolute highlight for all lovers of Indian cuisine. The Punjab Tandoori in Aschaffenburg impressed us across the board – from the warm welcome and attentive service to the incredibly aromatic dishes. Every dish tastes fresh, authentic, and perfectly seasoned – just as you would expect from India. The butter chicken, the tandoori dishes, and the homemade naan breads are especially delicious! You can simply taste the love and passion that goes into the cooking here. A true piece of India in the heart of Aschaffenburg, opposite the main train station – we will definitely be back and highly recommend the Punjab Tandoori.

It's always great. We always combine our appointments in Aschaffenburg with a super delicious lunch! It's delicious, and the staff are very friendly.

The appetizer plate was unfortunately bland, with only vaguely definable fried vegetables and nothing else. The main course portions were very small. The flavors weren't very varied. The value for money was not right. Too little for too much money.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. The food is super delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. But the best part is the service; I haven't experienced such friendly and customer-friendly staff in a long time; it was truly fantastic. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough cash left for a tip worthy of the service, which I was a bit sorry about. But I'd definitely do it next time! The restaurant is definitely recommended if you're ever in Aschaffenburg.

I was there again yesterday after about a year, and it's still the best Indian restaurant in the area. We like to drive from Munich to visit this restaurant because we're always very satisfied with everything. Truly authentic cuisine!

Wir waren wieder sehr begeistert und können das Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen. Bestes Essen, sehr zuvorkommender Service und total gemütlich, ja fein eingerichtet mit schöner Tischdekoration. Sehr stimmiges Konzept.

Very nice little restaurant at the main station. The food is super tasty and I really like the mint yoghurt that they have there. The homemade lemonades are also very tasty. 1 star deduction for the ambience because - due to the size of the room - it is sometimes very narrow.

I had dinner there today with two friends. I ordered butter naan and chicken korma, it was very tasty and the portion was absolutely sufficient (I still have some at home for later :) ). Great place, great food and great staff. Owner very pleasant aswell. Had walked into the neighboring oriental place on accident and the difference is like day and night (Owner was very rude to us, telling us he was sorry that we didnt like his food, even though we were served bland deep dried meat). Definitely go to this Indian place and avoid the next door oriental one 😀

I ordered something to pick up. The food was sealed so that the sauces couldn't spill over. I think it's awesome. The food was very, very, very tasty, the meat was tender like butter, both the lamb and the chicken and turkey. I can warmly recommend the restaurant. We would love to come back

We have been to this small authentic Indian restaurant several times. The food is always fresh and very tasty, and your wishes are catered for - there is also a lot on offer for vegans and vegetarians. The owner is incredibly friendly and served us a little surprise dessert on the house. Thank you very much, we would love to come back! (Reservation is recommended)

I'm now afraid to eat outside because the price-performance ratio isn't right. Everything becomes more expensive, but tastes weaker. It tastes surprisingly good here. I can only recommend it. We'll be back.

Bald zehn Jahren gibt es dieses pakistanisch -indische Restaurant in Aschaffenburg am Hauptbahnhof. Dank der gleichbleibend guten Qualität und des hervorragenden Geschmacks des liebevoll zubereiteten Essens, ist es berechtigter Weise wohl das beliebteste Restaurant diese Art im Großraum Aschaffenburg . Wenn man das Restaurant besucht, fühlt man sich angekommen, - zuhause, denn das Personal ist überaus zuvorkommend und in den meisten Fällen sind die Inhaber selbst vor Ort und überzeugen mit ihrer Freundlichkeit. Wer bislang noch nicht dort war, sollte es auf jeden Fall mal versuchen. Genial ist übrigens auch der Lieferservice.

The Punjab Tandoori is always worth a trip. The food is delicious and the owners are super welcoming. There is a huge selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes. The paneer mango curry from the chef's recommendation is simply heavenly.

Das Punjab Tandoori ist immer eine Reise Wert. Das Essen ist köstlich und die Inhaber sind super herzlich. Es gibt eine riesige Auswahl an veganen und vegetarischen Gerichten. Das Paneer Mango Curry aus der Chefempfehlung ist einfach himmlisch.

Try out the delicious dishes at the Punjab Tandoori right at Aschaffenburg main station The mixed starters are great to try out - also vegetarian. Great main courses, also vegetarian and vegan, served in cute little bowls, with cooked rice or naan bread on the side, ideal for sharing with loved ones And for dessert, mango or pistachio ice cream or a cool mango lassi!

Small authentic Indian restaurant with friendly staff. There are also a few seats outside on the street. You can park easily, for example in the parking garage in the train station. There is a normal menu and an extra menu with recommendations from the chef. Everything was very tasty and the prices were absolutely right. We would be happy to come back.

Der Machi Curry mit Fisch war sehr lecker, die Flasche Wasser mit 5,80 € überraschend teuer. Obwohl ich erst kurz vor 14 Uhr kam, wurde ich sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient. Die Größe der Portion war ausreichend, da ich gut gefrühstückt hatte. Ansonsten braucht man extra Reis.

Delicious! There are probably 2 chefs (?) In any case, there are sometimes fluctuations when it comes to the spiciness of the dishes, but it stays within limits and always tastes really good 👍🏻 Always and only fresh vegetables. Very nice, small restaurant where you can forget the busy Bahnhofstrasse, but you can also have it taken away or delivered. There is a lunch menu (reduced prices), but you can also choose from the full menu at lunchtime. The tofu preparation is not my thing (the only minor negative), but the selection of other dishes, including vegetarian/vegan ones, is large. Dogs are no longer allowed. It's a shame, but understandable given the spatial conditions. Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in Aschaffenburg!

As per Indian German standards this restaurant fits the bill. Full of German croud, the food was not so spicy and tasty as well. Little sweet, and the serving was quick too. The location is just outside railway station.

I visited at Aschaffenburg Germany for business purpose and I stayed there almost 6 week. Food is very good and delicious…. My favourite dishes. 1) Garlic Naan 2) Gulab jamun 3) Dum biryani 4) Tawa chicken 5) Chicken curry 6) Vegetarian Thali 7) Chicken Thali. I was there on a Sunday lunchtime and had a chicken curry with rice (€16.90). It tasted good, even if it didn't completely surprise me in a positive way (hence 4/5 stars). However, the chicken was incredibly tender. The food was delivered maybe 5-10 minutes after ordering, but there was very little going on in the restaurant at that time. I found the atmosphere very nice, the staff very friendly. Overall, I found it very good, but I have also been to places that offer similar cuisine and where I liked it a little better. Therefore 4/5 stars, I would definitely recommend the restaurant. Especially because it is a smaller restaurant and therefore creates a cozy atmosphere.

Very authentic Indian restaurant in the heart of Aschaffenburg. Once you've been to India, it's often difficult to find a restaurant at home where the food tastes like it does in India. The Punjab can do it. The restaurant is cozy and the service is very nice and warm. From Garlic Naan to Paneer to Chicken Tikka or Tandoori... everything is incredibly delicious. Highly recommended if you are looking for a good, authentic Indian restaurant. Thank you and I look forward to the next time.

Das beste indische Restaurant in Aschaffenburg und Umgebung! Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend und angenehm, man fühlt sich trotz anderer Gäste, als wäre man der einzige Gast, da sich immer genügend Zeit genommen wird und auf individuelle Wünsche problemlos eingegangen wird. Komme seit Jahren regelmäßig her zum Essen und werde es weiterhin tun. Preis-Leistung ist unschlagbar und das Essen unvergleichlich gut.

Essen ist sehr gut. Preislich in einem angenehmen Rahmen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die Speisenkarte ist umfangreich und hat denke ich für jeden was zu bieten. Komme gerne wieder.

Klein, aber zentral gelegen. Direkt gegenüber vom Bahnhof. Der Inhaber ist absolut freundlich und kommt sofort. Das Essen ist sehr schmackhaft und gut gewürzt. Es ist eine sehr persönliche Atmosphäre und wir hatten ein nettes Gespräch mit dem Chef. Wir sind nur auf der Durchreise, deshalb sind wir froh, dass alles so schnell ging. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.

Sehr, sehr gutes indisches Restaurant!! Vor allem für Veganer gibt es hier eine riesige Auswahl an super leckeren Gerichten, die man sonst in anderen Restaurants meist nur vegetarisch bekommt. Wir kommen immer gerne.
