When we received a rejection from another restaurant the evening before our civil wedding and the shock was profound, we discovered the Punjab Palace on the recommendation of a good friend. We got in touch immediately: communication was great! Our wishes as a bride and groom were taken into account. The Punjab Palace saved us! The entire wedding party was completely thrilled by the ambience, the service and of course the food. There is something for every taste here, especially for vegans. We are deeply grateful to the restaurant for making the impossible possible and can recommend it without reservation. This was not our last visit to Punjab Palace, we will come again. Thank you again!

Due to a rather unprofessional and rather poor excuse from another restaurant, who dared to cancel on the bride and groom on the eve of a wedding, we found our true happiness in misfortune here. Now you can certainly rent one or two locations spontaneously with a little twist and turn, but it's all good things If you fall on such a beautiful spot, it's almost a sign. The Punjab Palace doesn't deserve the full 5 stars simply because they knew how to save the day or were able to promise us quickly. No. How they did it, with what enthusiasm, time pressure, effort and courtesy, they deserve all the laurels. The food itself gets its own 5 stars for how good it was prepared and prepared. We had a rich, large buffet with a choice for everyone. Without exception. Without flavor enhancers or any coloring agents, as is unfortunately not uncommon, we bake, fry and cook here. The team was very attentive and the owner insisted on fulfilling all requests that were not covered by the buffet. Well, the buffet was way too good for that. :) In retrospect, we are very happy that everything came together like this and that we were able to celebrate at the Punjab Palace. Many thanks to the entire team and everyone who made this possible.

Stopped here for lunch because of a doctor's appointment in Pforzheim on November 14th, 2024. The atmosphere wasn't that nice, but we were treated extremely friendly and courteously. We had the Chicken Tikka Masala and a Carlic Naan. Delicious! Because the espresso machine was broken, we decided on Chai Masala. Something really nice, highly recommended.

The food was very tasty and the spiciness was normal depending on the choice. The bread with cheese was very tasty and the regular bread was perfect. The service was nice and friendly. The order came quickly, we didn't have to wait long. I can recommend it.

The good reviews are absolutely justified. We particularly liked the very friendly and courteous waiter. And yes, the Garlic Naan bread, which we were told was excellent, definitely does what it promised. Conclusion: Highly recommended!

Highly recommended! Went here for dinner with the family and received a very friendly welcome. The waiter also pointed out to us that each dish is also available as a mild or spicy dish. The chicken was very tender and the lamb was also very good 👍 Definitely try the mango lassi. We'll be back

A great, dog friendly, restaurant! The food was incredible:) We had the paneer pakora and samosa as a starter and as our main dish we had the chicken vindaloo and paneer badami with garlic naan and mango lassi. It was delicious!!

I and my wife ate here twice within a week because we were so impressed. The food is extremely tasty (we had, among other things, the shrimp in chickpea batter and a chicken tandoori). The menu shows how spicy each dish is, which was a good fit. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. We can fully recommend the “Punjab Palace”!

You're stuck in a traffic jam and have to go to Munich, what do you do? Exactly: eating at the Punjab Palace! Friendly and warm welcome from the owner. The food is some of the best Indian/Pakistani we have ever eaten. Nam bread is absolutely world class and finally: Mango Lassi. Something for all tastes and important: Vegetarians and vegans will find a large selection of fresh food and something cooked a la minute. What a discovery!

Top food very very tasty again and again.

The two of us ate here. I think it's extremely expensive for an Indian. Butter chicken 19 euros. It wasn't a nice atmosphere either. It was very hot and there were Liefando bags everywhere. There was only one other table occupied besides us. The location right on the main street isn't really good either. The food was very tasty but no different than any other good Indian restaurant. What you have to say the naan was very large and good and also included in the price. We wouldn't come back for a while. I also think that they live a lot from deliveries here.

The only point of criticism: unfortunately not air-conditioned... but everything else is amazing! Very friendly service (the owner is often there personally and warmly welcomes/serves everyone). Super delicious food. Can definitely be recommended. This is my new favorite Indian (and I have high standards).

Very good restaurant. Great service, you get a very tasty naan and rice with the dishes and we were offered to change the dish if we didn't like it. We felt comfortable! Since rice and naan are served with the dishes, the price is also okay. We'll definitely come again!

The restaurant is functional but nicely decorated. The operators are all extremely friendly and accommodating. Special requests can be accommodated without complaint. The dishes are tasty and will definitely fill you up. I enjoy coming here and also ordering meals for delivery. The delivery has always been on time. And the fact that they aren't there in 10 minutes also shows that they don't just "warm up" anything and send it on its way. For us it's just a real recommendation for good Indian food in Pforzheim

We had an excellent chicken tikka masala with garlic naan and a delicious biryani. The samosa starter was also great.👌However, the quantity overwhelmed us a bit. Thankfully, the leftovers were perfectly packed for us so that we could eat Indian food again the following evening. 😊The charming innkeeper was very concerned about our well-being and was happy to provide information about Indian cuisine and our astonished question as to why alcohol was not served in the restaurant. The location on Habermehlstrasse is not exactly idyllic, but there are enough parking spaces in the parking lot opposite. We will definitely be guests at the Punjab Palace in Pforzheim again!

We were a group of five and were welcomed by the lovely host. All dishes were fantastic, the meat tender and juicy, the rice nice and fluffy and the largest Naan bread I have ever seen. The sauces were to die for. I will surely be coming back here.

This attention, advice and commitment is very good, but unfortunately it has become rare these days, which makes it even nicer to experience it here again. Hello everyone, We ordered online and picked it up, everything worked great. I had the Chicken Tikka, which I had before at Ganesha, and it wasn't good there either! But didn't think it could get any worse. First of all, the meat was very tasty, but the rest is not recommended. Sauce totally spicy, of course it was expected to be slightly spicy, but this was way over the top. Then the rice and sauce just didn't taste like anything, and for such a price. My wife had the Malai Kofta. Very disappointing here too!!! So the best so far for me: Maharaja's Diner in Pforzheim, better in terms of price and taste than the two mentioned above! Hope I could save others something ;-)

Honestly great food. The service was crummy at first but then nice. What bothered me was that we said "please pack everything" and they didn't pack the sauce or the rice, so we only had the meat with the vegetables and the flatbread. I thought it was cheeky because the meal cost €25 and I don't want to pay that much for half of my meal

I would like to give 5 star. Even though the prizes are bit expensive, the food quality was really nice. We ordered chicken biryani, kadai paneer and Aloo paratha. Aloo paratha stuffing should have been better. But the other dishes were wonderful 😊. I hope they keep their consistency

Most authentic North Indian food in town! They offer wide varieties of veg and non-veg options, also halal. Grilled dishes are well marinated and fresh and juicy, and the nan they serve is soft and yum!

A really great restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. The staff was friendly and polite, open to conversation and gave good recommendations. The food came very quickly and was super tasty with a really nice presentation. The prices are completely reasonable (20-30€ per person for food and drinks). It is also recommended for people who like spicy food because the spicier dishes are not only spicy but also have a great taste (the green spicy sauce is delicious if you like to eat coriander). Recommend it to anyone who likes Indian food and does their rounds in Pforzheim, stop by the Punjab Palace. You can park for free right next door at the measuring area.
