PULS - Restaurant & Bar in Köln

Went there yesterday as a couple and had the menu. We thought it was okay. The pulp was rather tough, the fish also tough. That's a downer given the price. We liked the starters and the main course with the veal fillet best. Service very friendly, atmosphere top.

The kitchen also impresses with exquisite dishes where you can taste the passion and quality. I would particularly like to highlight the relaxed atmosphere, which perfectly rounds off the evening. Whether it's for dinner with friends or a relaxed drink at the bar – you'll feel completely at home here. The biggest highlight, however, is the team. You immediately notice that the guest is truly the focus here. The service is warm, attentive, and professional – simply perfect. A visit to PVLS is not just a pleasure, but a true experience. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by a modern yet relaxed atmosphere – stylish, but by no means stuffy. The "shared dining" concept is fantastic: You order different dishes, which are then served in the middle of the table – perfect for sampling the sophisticated cuisine. Each dish was a small work of art full of finesse, creativity, and absolute explosions of flavor. We particularly highlight the roasted cauliflower and the Iberico ribs – simply divine! The dessert creations were also an absolute highlight. In addition to the first-class cuisine, the bar team also deserves enormous praise. The cocktails are unique and perfectly matched – the Fusion Cocktail was a recommendation we couldn't be happier with! The drinks are just as innovative as the food and perfectly round off the experience. The service was excellent – ​​attentive without being intrusive, super friendly, and with great advice on food and drinks. You can immediately tell that a passionate team is at work here. The ambiance? Casual, modern, and simply comfortable. The music was cool and not too loud, so you could have a relaxed conversation. On Saturday March 8th, 2025 there were three of us, the first (but not the last) time in the pulse. We wanted to have a nice evening together and eat delicious food in a pleasant atmosphere. Everything was exceeded! A real stroke of luck was the fact that our table was not yet free and we were led to the “bench” by the very polite and friendly bar manager. This place was so exciting and pleasant that we unanimously decided to stay there and start the evening. We ordered the menu M and were extremely POSITIVELY surprised... without listing everything, I remember the egg, zander, wild shrimp and the veal... everything was perfectly prepared and tasted exquisite (greetings to Johannes/Jojo and crew). I particularly remember the tuna tartare - wow! Rarely have I eaten anything better. We previously had a delicious aperitif with mango and sparkling wine, a bottle of white wine and a very delicate Syrah from Lebanon (top recommendation). Afterwards a few glasses of champagne and an exceptional herbal nightcap. A very, very successful and worthwhile evening (I think we were the last to leave) and we will definitely be back. Ein Ort an dem man sich wohlfühlen kann. Schönes Ambiente, leckeres Essen und vorzügliche Cocktails und nettes Personal. Wer das sucht, wird hier fündig. Das Essen ist sehr kreativ angerichtet und so lecker, wie es aussieht. Für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei. War schon mehrfach dort. Ich hatte einmal das Chefs Choice Menü mit Weinbegleitung und was sehr zufrieden. Wobei ich allerdings sagen muss, dass ich mich nicht sehr gut mit Wein auskenne. Die Cocktails auf der Karte sind sehr lecker. Dennoch kann man sich einen zusammenstellen lassen, wenn man auf der Karte nicht fündig wird.

Wonderful food – visually as well as tasty – innovative, perfectly balanced drinks, pleasant atmosphere & great service! Today I had a really nice, spontaneous evening in the pulse. I managed to get a seat at the bar (my favorite place!) and was able to end the day with an excellent cocktail and a corresponding culinary treat. This isn't my first time here and with all the delicious food, I always find it difficult to choose. Luckily, the recommendations from the attentive Puls team guide me happily through the evening every time. I would particularly like to highlight the Pulpo – an absolute taste experience! A clear recommendation! What I also always notice positively is that the good and friendly atmosphere in the Puls team is clearly noticeable and contributes enormously to making the experience as a guest perfect. Herrliches Essen – optisch genauso wie geschmacklich – innovative, perfekt ausbalancierte Drinks, angenehme Atmosphäre & großartiger Service! Heute hatte ich einen wirklich schönen, spontanen Abend im Puls. Ich habe einen Platz an der Bar ergattert (mein Lieblingsplatz!) und konnte den Tag mit einem vorzüglichen Cocktail und dazu passendem kulinarischen Gaumenschmaus ausklingen lassen. Ich bin nicht zum ersten Mal hier, und bei all den köstlichen Speisen fällt mir die Wahl immer schwer. Zum Glück geleiten mich die Empfehlungen des aufmerksamen Puls-Teams jedes Mal glücklich durch den Abend. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den Pulpo – ein absolutes Geschmackserlebnis! Eine klare Empfehlung! Was mir außerdem immer wieder positiv auffällt: Die gute und sympathische Atmosphäre im Puls-Team ist deutlich spürbar und trägt enorm dazu bei, das Erlebnis als Gast perfekt zu machen. Ich war letzte Woche gemeinsam mit meinem Freund zusammen im Puls essen und ich muss einfach sagen sowohl die Speisen als auch der Service und das Ambiente sind für Köln wirklich eine Bereicherung. Ich würde jedem einen Besuch im Puls empfehlen der großen Wert auf gutes Essen und guten Service legt.

ch war vor kurzem im PULS Restaurant & Bar in Köln und bin absolut begeistert. Schon beim Betreten des Restaurants wurde ich herzlich begrüßt und habe mich sofort willkommen gefühlt. Das Ambiente verbindet modernes Design mit gemütlicher Atmosphäre – lebendig, stylish und trotzdem entspannt. Obwohl das Lokal nicht riesig ist, nutzt es den Raum optimal: Es wirkt intim und zugleich trendy. Man merkt, hier wurde mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, vom schicken Interieur bis zur stimmungsvollen Beleuchtung. Zum Essen kann ich nur sagen: einfach grandios. Die Speisekarte bietet ein innovatives Konzept aus À-la-carte-Gerichten und Gerichten zum Teilen. Wir haben uns für das Überraschungsmenü des Küchenchefs entschieden (mittlere Größe) und jeder Gang war ein Erlebnis für sich. Die Gerichte waren modern und kreativ, ohne übertrieben verspielt zu sein – man schmeckt die Sterneküchen-Qualität, aber auf eine lockere Art. Alle Zutaten waren frisch und hochwertig, die Aromen waren perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt. Von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert wurden wir immer wieder positiv überrascht. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich, wie gut die verschiedenen Geschmacksnuancen harmoniert haben – unser Gaumen wurde mit jeder neuen Kreation aufs Neue verwöhnt. Dazu haben wir eine Weinbegleitung genossen, die hervorragend zu den einzelnen Gängen passte, und auch die Cocktails, die wir im Anschluss probiert haben, waren top (unbedingt die Signature-Drinks testen!). Der Service im PULS war ebenfalls spitze. Das Team war aufmerksam, professionell und gleichzeitig sehr herzlich. Unsere Kellnerin hat uns die Idee hinter jedem Gericht mit sichtbarer Begeisterung erklärt, was das Erlebnis noch spannender gemacht hat. Zwischen den Gängen konnten wir uns Zeit lassen, denn im PULS bestellt man jeden weiteren Gang erst, wenn man bereit dafür ist – dieses flexible Konzept fanden wir genial. Trotz dieses ungewöhnlichen Ablaufs ging alles reibungslos: Sobald wir unser letztes Häppchen genossen hatten, war das Service-Team direkt zur Stelle, um die nächste Bestellung aufzunehmen. Das Personal hatte ein tolles Gespür dafür, genau im richtigen Moment da zu sein, ohne je aufdringlich zu wirken. Wir haben uns rundum umsorgt gefühlt. Insgesamt war unser Abend im PULS unvergesslich. Essen, Service und Ambiente haben auf ganzer Linie überzeugt und zu einem rundum perfekten Erlebnis beigetragen. Selten habe ich in Köln so stimmig und hervorragend gegessen. Für mich ist das PULS jetzt schon eine der Top-Adressen der Stadt. Ich kann dieses Restaurant jedem empfehlen, der auf der Suche nach etwas Besonderem ist – egal ob für einen feierlichen Anlass oder einfach, um sich kulinarisch verwöhnen zu lassen. Ich komme garantiert wieder – mein Puls schlägt immer noch höher vor Begeisterung!

Great dishes (we had red snapper, roasted cauliflower and spicy pumpkin, then chocolates), friendly and accommodating hosts and cool ambience (chill beats, cocktails). Nice start to the evening. We were only able to stay for a short time, but will come back for the whole menu.

For me the best restaurant in Cologne. Incredibly nice staff, delicious, always new, unusual dishes and a great ambience. The delicious cocktails and unusual wine selection always round off the evening. We are regular guests at the PVLS and are happy to recommend it. Above all, the Chef's Choice Menu (Large) is simply amazing in terms of value for money!

The service was very nice and attentive, the food was also very good - what I personally didn't like that much is the concept that you don't get your own ready-made plates. A plated dish is placed on the table and everyone helps themselves to it Some of it on your own cutlery. It may be part of the concept - I just found it a shame because you don't get the composition the cook wanted on your own plate. The dessert was difficult to share and there was no separate cutlery.

The selections elevated each course, highlighting flavors we might not have noticed otherwise. It was clear a lot of thought and expertise went into curating the pairings. The cocktails, however, were the true stars of the evening. The flavor profiles were nothing short of genius—where else can you find a cocktail that seamlessly blends carrot and white chocolate? The bartender’s creativity and skill shone through in every drink. One standout was the espresso martini, which was hands down the best we’ve ever had. The hazelnut-forward profile, complemented by a caramel simple syrup, was a luxurious and innovative twist on a classic. The bartender deserves a special mention—not only for crafting incredible drinks but also for sharing their passion and knowledge with us. They even showed us some fascinating cocktail books, adding an educational element to the experience that we truly appreciated. Overall, PVLS is a must-visit for anyone who loves extraordinary food, expertly crafted cocktails, and exceptional service. This is not just a meal; it’s an adventure in taste and creativity. We cannot recommend it enough and can’t wait to return.

Both the restaurant and bar were excellent. We were particularly impressed by the starter/bar snacks and the dessert. I also had the best non-alcoholic cocktail there so far (cucumbers and roses) In addition, the service was very good and the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. A very nice evening.

It is a very small place. Eventough we did not had a reservation there was a lovely table for us. We had wonderful food and great service. I really was baffled multiple times by the food. I can not express how good it was. Just experience it for yourself! They have spot for ±30 persons so not that big but its very cosy and lovely! If you go to Köln you have to go to PULS. Its a must! Thanks to the personell for the great service!

It is a small restaurant, but the service, food, and drinks were amazing. I started the winter special cocktail, which had a unique but nice flavor. Next up was the beef tartar with caviar (+€10) which was really well done. The presentation was nice and was very good quality. Then I had the US beef, which was also very good. It was cooked to temperature and seasoned very well. The sauce was a little overpowering, but the dish was still very good. I would definitely recommend stopping in for a quality meal if you are in Cologne.

Lockere sehr gehobene Küche. Das Essen wird im Menü für alle geshared. Sterne Küche Qualität aber in cooler unkomplizierter Atmosphäre. Sehr gemütlich und ein äußerst ansprechender und zuvorkommener Service. Am besten etwas länger vor reservieren. Toiletten auch sehr sauber. Musik lässig cool. Einfach top !!! Gerne wieder. Ich empfehle den Fusion Cocktail 🍸

Leider können positive Bewertungen nur bedingt geteilt werden. Das Essen war sehr ordentlich, insbesondere die Ente ist hervorzuheben. Das Gesamterlebnis des Abends war aber leider getrübt und geprägt durch den teils unterirdischen Service. Schon zu Beginn wurden wir - etwas zu früh erschienen - noch einmal zum Warten nach draußen gebeten; dies ist noch in Ordnung, obwohl üblich das Anbieten eines Platzes an der Bar gewesen wäre. Dort wurden wir dann aber vergessen, wir säßen ohne Nachfrage vermutlich jetzt noch dort. Erläuterungen zu den einzelnen Gängen bei der Bestellung konnten dann durch den jungen Kellner kaum gegeben werden. Bei Auswahl der Weine wurde uns die Weinkarte wieder entrissen, dies sei die "falsche".??? Nachfragen zu einzelnen Weinen der durchaus ansehnlichen Weinkarte (Rebsorten bei Cuvéeweinen) konnten unter Verweis auf die "Weinspezialistin" (? Sommelière?) nicht gegeben werden. Dieser wurde dann hörbar mitgeteilt, dass "die doch tatsächlich wissen wollen, was in den Weinen drin ist". Inkompetenz, gepaart mit Lästern über die Gäste? Das geht gar nicht! Die "Weinspezialistin" war offenbar keine Sommelière, denn sie hatte nur wenig mehr Ahnung von ihren Weinen auf der Karte. Dass dann auch noch Gänge beim Service vergessen wurden, fällt dann schon kaum mehr ins Gewicht. Schade. Ein weitgehend verlorener Abend, den das insgesamt schon sehr ansprechende Essen alleine auch nicht retten konnte. Nicht wieder.

Gemischte Gefühle. Vorab: das Essen war gut aber nicht besonders. Preis / Leistung passt leider nicht. Die Location ist schön und mal etwas anderes. Das Bar / Restaurant Konzept gefiel uns sehr. Der Tisch wurde um 20 Uhr wieder vergeben, wir hatten jedoch 2 1/2 Stunden Zeit. Allerdings hatte man direkt den Eindruck, dass man uns schnell abfertigen wollte anstatt die 2 1/2 Stunden auszukosten. Der Gruß aus der Küche war noch nicht aufgegessen, da kam schon die Vorspeise. Muss nicht sein. Der Pulpo war großartig, aber das Tartar für 19€ war nicht angemessen. Zwei kleine „Häufchen“ in Sushi Größe und ich hatte das Gefühl das Tartar war leicht angetrocknet und viel zu fest. Kein wirklicher Genuss. Zur Hauptspeise. Wir hatten das Milchkalb und das Beef. Beides war schmackhaft ABER bei beiden Hauptgerichten kam das Fleisch nur warm an und war innerhalb von 10 Minuten kalt. Schade. Der Hauptgänge lagen bei knapp 40€ und die Beilagen um die 12€. Alles schmackhaft aber außergewöhnlich oder besonders? Leider Nein. Die Nachspeisen waren sehr gut. Zum Service. Der Service hat stark angefangen und stark nachgelassen. Zum Schluss hat man uns kaum noch beachtet. Wir haben die hier genannten Kritikpunkte auch direkt vor Ort mitgeteilt. Allerdings hatten wir das Gefühl, dass es dem Service nicht gepasst hat. Kurzum: Preis / Leistung passt nicht. Da gibt es bessere Alternativen in Köln. Schade, denn die Location und die Küche hätten alle Möglichkeiten etwas besonderes aus dem Restaurant zu machen. Chance leider nicht genutzt.

Aus dem Parkhaus unter dem röm- germanischen Museum geht man 5 Minuten zum Restaurant Es befindet sich direkt am Rathaus und gehört zum Hotel Legend Das Restaurant ist modern eingerichtet und hat nicht sehr viele Plätze, es ist auch möglich an der Theke zu essen Angeboten werden Menüs mit Überraschungseffekt Dazu selbstverständlich a la carte Das Essen ist sehr raffiniert präsentiert und richtig lecker Der Service ist super und sehr freundlich Natürlich sind auch die Toiletten perfekt

Wir sind immer wieder gerne hier, weil sowohl Essen als auch Service einfach etwas Besonderes sind. Da es eine lebhafte Cocktail-Bar / Restaurant ist, ist es sicher nichts für ein romantisches ruhiges Diner, aber wenn man Gästen Mal etwas Ausgefallenes bieten möchte, ist man hier goldrichtig. Auch unsere Begleitung war begeistert!

Ich war mittlerweile 3-4 mal dort und liebe das Ambiente, das Essen, welches ein pures Erlebnis ist jedes Mal aufs Neue und das Team vor Ort ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Getränkeempfehlungen sind auch immer top und passen perfekt zu den Gerichten. Man kann im Puls einen perfekten Abend für unter anderem auch besondere Anlässe verbringen, komme gerne wieder.

Wir hatten einen absolut fantastischen Abend im Puls in Köln! Vom herzlichen Empfang über den aufmerksamen Service bis hin zum perfekten Essen war einfach alles hervorragend. Die Gerichte waren kreativ, mit einer wunderbaren Balance zwischen intensiven Aromen und feiner Präsentation, wirklich einzigartig und gekonnt umgesetzt. Das Ambiente ist stilvoll und doch gemütlich, und man spürt die Leidenschaft des gesamten Teams. Jeder Moment und jeder Bissen war ein Genuss, sodass ich hier definitiv sechs von fünf möglichen Punkten vergeben würde, wenn es ginge! Herzlichen Dank an das Team vom Puls für dieses außergewöhnliche Erlebnis – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!"

Preis Leistungsverhältnis war nicht angemessen bezüglich der Menge und des Geschmacks. Die Drinks hingegen waren sehr gut und der Nachtisch ebenfalls. Als Bar für besondere Cocktails zu empfehlen, aber das Essen war dem Preis entsprechend nicht sehr überzeugend.

Tolle Kombination aus Cocktails und Essen. Eine Geschmacksexplosion mit vielen außergewöhnlichen Drinks und Essen.

Wonderful restaurant, service excellent, a great experience from entering the restaurant to paying. The cocktails are truly out of this world. I also found the portions to be very large for an upscale restaurant. I was expecting much less and was pleasantly surprised. The quality of the food and the taste are convincing. If we are in Cologne again, we will definitely eat here again. Once again a big thank you to the kitchen and also the excellent service, always very warm and attentive.

Einfach köstliches Essen und freundlicher Service

We were guests of the associated Hotel Legend and ordered food from the restaurant to our room on two evenings - it was simply fantastic! We were really impressed by the quality of the food and the intensity of the flavors. Particularly outstanding were the arancini, the tartare from German dry aged beef, the hanging tender with the incredibly delicious truffle jus and the mousse from the gianduja hazelnut chocolate. Everything was perfectly seasoned and simply heavenly. The restaurant itself is small and the tables are quite close together. We appreciated all the more being able to enjoy this culinary highlight in the privacy of our room. An absolute pleasure that we can recommend to everyone!

In the center of Cologne, this restaurant serving international cuisine with local ingredients is an excellent choice. The fixed sharing menu offers strong flavors and carefully prepared preparations, with very attentive service. The location, more similar to a rooftop bar than a gourmet restaurant, does not detract from the excellent culinary experience.

You could tell that the bartender who prepared the drinks worked with great passion and had a lot of knowledge about how to combine flavors that at first glance didn't go together for Leien. It was fun to watch him work. My absolute favorite was a pepper crust cocktail, it was a flavor explosion!

Ich war gestern zum ersten Mal im „Puls“ und bin heute noch begeistert! Die Bedienung war freundlich – und zwar auf eine ehrliche und herzliche Weise, bei der man gemerkt hat, dass die Mitarbeiter:innen ihren Job mit Freude ausüben. Der Service war aufmerksam, aber nie aufdringlich. Das Essen war nicht nur geschmacklich hervorragend, sondern auch in der Zusammenstellung und Präsentation etwas ganz Besonderes. Man hat geschmeckt und gesehen, dass hier mit Leidenschaft und Können gekocht wird. Die Kreationen waren kreativ und auf den Punkt zubereitet – wirklich ein Genuss. Auch das Ambiente hat überzeugt: man sitzt gemütlich und fühlt sich rundum wohl. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt absolut. Ich freue mich jetzt schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch und kann das Plus uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

The food was great and so was the staff. Although we reserved a table inside, the staff accommodated our request to move to the terrace. Because of the rain we had to move back in later and that was easily managed with two seats at the bar. It's a bit of a shame that the shop and the tables are so small, but that's certainly a question of concept and taste. We were there for more than 2 hours and, contrary to many reports here, we didn't feel rushed or processed quickly.

Eine absolute kulinarische Entdeckungsreise. Wir hatten uns für die Menü-Variante Medium entschieden. Vorweg zwei grandiose Cocktails, welche ihresgleichen in Köln suchen. Sitzplätze direkt an der Bar. Besser geht nicht. Tipp: unbedingt den Espresso Martini zum Abschluss nicht entgehen lassen. Das ganze Team ist authentisch, hoch professionell und man fühlt sich wie zu Hause. Wir danken herzlich für die wunderbaren Stunden!

Booked shortly beforehand online, very easy Outstanding friendly staff, giving lots of explanations to the different courses, Bartender with great taste mixing even non alcoholic beverages befitting the course, big plus. All in all, not the cheapest place, but you definitely get your money's worth. Can only recommend, will definitely be back!

We were sat in front of the cash register in the corner. We had no privacy. When the telephone rang, the staff discussed the reservation directly in front of us . Conversations between the waiters took place were directly around d the cash register . For the other few that we paid , we expected a little more consideration with regards to have if a conversation perhaps away from ear shot,. Perhaps taking the telephone call in another area . This was our wedding anniversary and we felt like we had no privacy at all.

A bit small, but food was delicious and well designed . The cauliflower was slightly on the salty side, but still yummy. Appreciate that the plates were heated hot before putting the food on, and served hot .

Cooles Restaurant mit sehr spannenden Gerichten. Der Koch hat tolle Ideen, die auf die Teller gezaubert werden. Der Service ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ruhig wird den Gästen die Karte und das Prozedere erklärt. Wein kann pro Glas und Flasche konsumiert werden. Die Lage ist sehr zentral in der Innenstadt, nahe dem Heumarkt. Dieses Lokal kann ich mit gutem Geweissen weiter empfehlen.

Gutes Essen, freundliche Bedienung, angenehme Atmosphäre. Zwei Bemerkungen: die Vorspeise kam richtig schnell, da könnte mann etwas mehr Zeit geben. Und die Weinkarte könnte etwas breiter ausgelegt werden mit Deutschen Weinen (weiss und rot).

Wir hatten einen schönen & entspannten Abend im Puls. Das junge Team hat einen tollen Service gemacht & das Essen war sehr lecker, wenn auch für meinen Geschmack etwas zu fettig.

We really had a very special evening in Pulse. The restaurant offers an exclusive selection of food and drinks. We decided on a variant with dessert and cocktails. It was all super delicious. If you're looking for exceptional cocktails, Puls is the right place for you. The dessert was incredibly delicious and very lovingly decorated. The service was also convincing. We received a very friendly welcome and advice. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

2,25 Stunden ist zu wenig für ein Chef Menü. Wir sollten ganz schnell essen und hatten keine Zeit zum Unterhalten und um das Essen zu geniessen. Also es lohnt sich gar nicht. Wir kommen nicht mehr wider und würden es auch niemandem empfehlen. Es gibt so viele Restaurants, wo das Essen nicht wie ein Kunstwerk aussieht, aber nicht weniger lecker ist und auch nicht viel weniger kostet. Und dadurch bekommt man mehr positive Emotionen. Unser Besuch war eine große Enttäuschung.

Das Puls ist eine lustige Mischung aus Bar und Restaurant (sehr wenige klassische Tische, dafür viele Hochtische und Plätze an der Bar mit zusätzlich einigen 2er Tischen im Außenbereich). Daher sind viele Barsnacks und auch Gerichte zum Teilen im Angebot. Und an den Gerichten, wir hatten das große Überraschungsmenü, war auch wirklich wenig auszusetzen . Das war wirklich gutes Niveau aber auch ganz klar, wir sprechen hier vom Zweitrestaurant des Ox und Klee, kein Sterneniveau. Vorneweg gab es das „Maggi-Ei“ des Ox und Klee, Arancini, ein klassisches Tartar und marinierter Lachs. Alles sehr lecker. Danach wurde es aber etwas schwierig, da sowohl der deutsche Spargel , der Pulpa mit ChorizoI, die Carbonara aber auch das Hanging Tender und der Heilbutt als Platten zu Teilen kamen. Was davon jetzt Vorspeise, Zwischengang oder Hauptgericht war, konnte ich weder von der Größe der Portionen, noch von der zeitlichen Reihenfolge der Speisen, die teilweise nicht mit der in der Karte genannten Reihung übereinstimmte, nachvollziehen. Das muss nicht schlimm sein, was aber gar nicht gelungen war, das die Portionen nur sehr schwierig auf vier Portionen zu verteilen war und aus meiner Sicht dafür zu klein waren. Da hätte ich mir manchmal weniger Speisen, dafür mit etwas mehr „Masse“ gewünscht. Für ein Restaurant, das sich dem Plattenkonzept „verschrieben“ hat, recht ungewöhnlich. Die zwei Nachtische und der zu stark getrüffelte Käse, fand ich von allen Gängen am wenigstens interessant. Da war die Praline am Ende das Highlight. Alles in allem ein sehr netter Abend, würde aber dringend vom Menü abraten.

Wir waren zu viert und haben à la carte gegessen. Toll war der Spargel und die Carbonara Nudeln, exzellent der Pulpo. Bei den Hauptgericht (Heilbutt, einmal vegetarisch, Zucchini, Rippchen) gab es nichts auszusetzen, tolle Produkte, sehr aromatische Saucen und jedes Mal auch ein Kunstwerk auf dem Teller. Am Nachbartisch wurde das Menue (Chefs Choice) aufgetragen - sah auch sehr gut aus. Wir kommen wieder und können es nur empfehlen.

This is an exceptional place to eat and drink. The detailed flavours of everything on the menu makes this a special experience. We loved everything we ordered, and, there is nothing on the menu you could attempt making at home which is the whole point of a great restaurant. The service was lovely, fun and friendly. All the staff had great knowledge of what they were presenting. Finally, there’s an amazing cocktail list, drinks were beautifully made in beautiful glassware.

We had the vegetarian menu medium, which was delicious, but apart from the Maggi egg, unfortunately nothing was particularly sophisticated or imaginative so that it was an experience like star cuisine. Given the price and the origins of the Ox&Klee chef, we expected that a bit. Overall, the experience was actually quite stressful, as the dishes and courses were brought out at extremely short intervals or at the same time. For me, an upscale menu also means that you have time to discover and enjoy the individual dishes. Unfortunately that wasn't the case here. We felt pretty rushed through the evening. But the service was very nice and accommodating.

Big cinema! Anyone who is lucky enough to discover this gem will be in for a treat, we were thrilled. Following a tip, we went yesterday without a reservation and were curious. The service was excellent from the first minute, warm and the food was a dream and topped all of our numerous dinners in the city. An absolute recommendation. Gourmet cuisine that we plan to enjoy again very soon. Thank you.

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit freundlichem und aufmerksamen Personal. Das Essen war sehr lecker und kam zügig, sodass man nicht lange warten musste. Wir hatten uns für das Chef‘s Choice large entschieden, was ich auf keinen Fall bereue, da man so von vielen der Gerichte etwas hatte und Sachen probierte, die ich mir persönlich so nicht bestellt hätte. So waren zwar auch Sachen dabei, die mir persönlich nicht geschmeckt haben, aber sowas ist immer Ansichtssache. Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung und wir kommen gerne wieder!

We stayed at the hotel - and ate at Puls on the first night. It was so good, we went back on the second night too (and couldn’t go the other nights as it was shut!). This is the sister restaurant of the 2 Michelin star restaurant Ox and Klee - but is a much more relaxed feel. But gives an idea of the type of food. We’re vegetarians, and went with the recommendation of having the set menu the first night (basically, dishes off the main menu - but brought out as the chef saw fit). Sharing plate concept. Simply amazing food - although we had to decline the last course as had no room left. The next night we went back and had the other dishes. Great cocktails too and very friendly staff. Fully recommend!

One of the best food experiences we had throughout Germany! Had the Chefs Choice and loved every dish. Imaginative, creative with an array of wonderful flavors. The wait staff was also very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Lovely meal in a compact but cool setting. Food was tasty and well thought through. We had the medium chefs surprise which was enough for us. Wine pairing was great and given by the glass as you go. Always nice to sit and eat and have a team of people who care about their offering and look after you.

A very chic restaurant, extremely tasty and unusual menu which is definitely recommended. Unfortunately we had to wait outside for the table for almost 20 minutes (we made a reservation for 8 p.m.). We would also have liked fresh cutlery and crockery between courses - therefore minus 1 star in the price category.

Wirklich tolles, außergewöhnlich gutes Essen und eine hervorragende Cocktail-Auswahl. Insgesamt ein Erlebnis an welches man sich lange erinnern wird.

Le restaurant est à côté de la mairie, avec vue sur les statues. L'ambiance est tamisée et le service assez rapide. Il y a deux services le soir donc il ne faut pas traîner! Le menu dégustation était original, et tout était bien sauf le plat de chou-fleur qui était trop salé. Les cocktails étaient bons mais vraiment petits et avec trop de glaçons. La salle est petite et il faut réserver à l'avance.
