Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right here. Starters, main courses and desserts are good, but the taste does not do justice to the price quoted. Service friendly, ambience is ok. Everything is rather cramped.

Were there with a larger group. No card was handed out, but various bottles of water were given. They were supposed to have already been paid for, but in the end they were charged 6.50 euros. Food was good and the price was okay. Drinks were too expensive. There were also various discussions about the bill at the end. Service was slightly arrogant, supposedly being typically Italian. I won't go back because of that.

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. I found it a bit strange that there was supposedly no card to choose from and see the prices. The waiter was very eager to comply with his recommendation. Although the food was very good, I will not visit this restaurant again.

More than 80 people to be served by 3 waitresses was the recipe of our night. Unfortunately the service overcame everything and we will remember the 2 hours we were waiting for our food. We won’t return and won’t recommend it to anyone. Overpriced!!

As other reviews mentioned, no menu and pricey considering the portion of food. Food itself was amazing.

All stars go to the ambience and service. The food and drinks were simply too little for too many euros. 4.50 for 0.2 liters of cola is about 2.25 per sip. I personally had an Aperol Spritz in a white wine glass filled with ice. I think there was maybe 0.1 or 0.15 liters of Aperol in there? Here too I drank in 3 sips. The sea bream is delicious, but you only have very little, not even 100 grams of sea bream on your plate. With some vegetables and potatoes. We are around 50 euros per person. lighter, hungry and above all thirsty. So it would be nice if they either lowered prices or increased quantities. Now that was it Balance sheet very bad.

Terrible service, no menu, overpriced, and 3 hour wait for food. My steak was adequate, but some of our party don't like their food bloody. Worst roast potatoes I've ever eaten. No pasta options. Wrong food brought to the table initially. Since reviewing, the restaurant's legal team have been in contact threatening action if this review is not removed! Very dismissive of criticism on the day, and apparently not willing to accept that a party of 10 had a frankly awful time.

Great find in Frankfurt. Excellent product, very good Italian wines and great service. It is a small restaurant and a bit noisy.

Arrived at 8. Drink orders werent even taken until 9. No menu. Seemed annoyed to have to take our order. No menus or food prices. Had to go inside after sitting for 2.5 hours to ask where or food was, and ask them to turn on the heat as we were all shivering. No food until 11pm. Steaks were basically raw when they finally came out. Not even a hint of apology for the terrible service, aside from giving us a round of cheap beers, skipping the order for the person in our party who wasn't drinking. The only thing they were quick with was asking us to pay the bill. Not worth it. Don't go here. Update: Instead of responding to this review, or looking to improve their service, they have now sent me and another member of our party a letter from google review removals claiming we weren't there, and threatening legal action. Anything to keep the high review ratings, right?

As an Italian food lover, everything was perfect. Various and delicious appetizers, excellent first courses, dessert too. All perfect. Prices in line with the city.

You don't get a card but are almost forced by the waiter to eat what he suggests. The food itself tasted good but the prices were ridiculously high.

Azzurro - La Cucina Italiana looks like a great Italian restaurant. The staff is friendly and helpful, the dishes are tasty and inviting and the atmosphere is welcoming. Unfortunately I couldn't have dinner because there was no room, but they showed me another restaurant where I had a great dinner. Suggestions: Book in advance, especially on weekends. If you can't find a seat, ask the staff to direct you to another restaurant. Try the typical Italian dishes.

The Osso Buco was amazing! Food: 10/10 Cost benefit: 7/10 Service: 3/10 Desapionted with the attention, to get someone to be aware that you need help is a pain.

First, on a positive note, the food was exceptional, but unfortunately that is where my positive review ends. I have to say this is the worst service I have ever seen in my life. My advice is not to even consider going to this restaurant as you can find good food elsewhere without the stress of terrible service and attitude. It started well, with our waiter Massimo in good spirits and quite attentive, but the problems began when we ordered some beer for 3 of the guests and a non-alcoholic drink for 1 of the others (the rest were drinking wine). After several polite reminders from us we received our beer after around 1 hour. It seemed like they were trying to tell us we shouldn't drink beer, only (very expensive) wine, even more expensive than in London. We tried to order another beer and a non-alcoholic drink from 3 different waiters, but after another hour I had to go directly to the kitchen to ask what the problem was. Apparently, they had run out of beer the previous night, but instead of telling us this (we would have been disappointed, but understanding), they just kept saying it would come. The non-alcoholic drink never arrived, even after 2 hours, so I was forced to take a bottle of water from another table so our guest didn't die of thirst!! Finally, I asked for the bill, 2 Limoncello and 1 Espresso. 45 minutes later I was forced again go to the kitchen/waiter area to tell them that we were leaving in 4 minutes as our Uber was about to arrive. Strangely they immediately provided the drinks and a couple of minutes later, the bill. There were several mistakes on the bill, which I tried to question, but finally gave up as my stress levels were going through the roof. We were charged for 9 beers (we got 3) and 6 bottles of water (€9.50 each!), we only received 4. There was a table of around 20 next to us, who arrived at least 30 minutes after us, but somehow managed to get out around 1 hour before us! All in all, our 'experience' lasted 4 hours. My advice to the owner is to employ more staff (or limit how many guests you have), train the ones you have to communicate with customers and treat them with some degree of respect, manage your stock levels properly and generally treat guests like humans, not like idiots. You have some of the best food I've tasted, but your service is totally unacceptable. My advice to anyone considering this restaurant is probably obvious from my review. If you do go, I wish you the best of luck because you might be fortunate enough to catch them on a good night, or you might not. For €100 per person (2 courses of food, a few beers and 3 bottles of wine) you should expect much much more. Finally, I added a picture of the bill (our reservation was 19.15pm, the time of the bill was 23.20pm - 4 hours later!

A fuir!! Grosse arnaque surtout si vous venez en groupe, les prix sont très élevés et la qualité ne vaut pas le prix payé!! Demandez la carte pour vérifier le prix de la carte des vins et de la nourriture. Ne pas acceptez ce qu’un serveur vous propose car il mettra toujours le plus cher!! Il y a tellement de meilleurs restaurants italiens que ce genre d’arnaque!!

Ein ansich wirklich schönes Restaurant aber die Tische wurden wohl mit kurzen Zeitabständen neu vergeben daher sollten wir sofort unseren Nachtisch bestellen da sonst die nächste Gruppe kommt. Das finde ich ok aber muss bei Reservierung gesagt werden. Ansonsten kam ein Tisch wohl zu früh bzw. Der Tisch war noch nicht frei. Die 8 Leute sollten dann vor dem Restaurant warten. Das ist für die eher gehobene Küche leider nixht ok und drückt allgemein die Stimmung. Essen war ansonsten richtig gut aber preislich auch hoch

Wir haben einen schönen Abend zu fünft anlässlich eines Geburtstages im Azzuro verbracht. Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut, jedoch gab es Probleme bei der Vorspeise. Wir hätten uns gerne zu fünft ein paar Vorspeisen geteilt, was laut des „Chefs“ aber leider nicht möglich war. Der Herr hat uns stattdessen eine gemischte Vorspeisenplatte empfohlen, was an sich in Ordnung ist. Leider hat diese jedoch am Ende mit 20€/Person auf der Rechnung eingeschlagen. 100€ für Vorspeisen ist deutlich zu viel und erweckt den Eindruck, dass man „über den Tisch“ gezogen wird, da ein gemischter Vorspeisenteller auch nicht auf der Karte zu finden ist und man somit vorher keinen Preis erfährt. Alles in allem ist der „Chef“ nicht sonderlich zuvorkommend gewesen. So sollten wir später beim Aufteilen der Rechnung unsere Beträge selbst zusammenrechnen… Insofern gibt es in der Gesamtwertung 4/5 Sternen aufgrund der mangelnden Freundlichkeit des Seniors.

Insgesamt war unser Erlebnis enttäuschend. Obwohl die Antipasti und das Brot gut waren, enttäuschten uns geschmacklose und langweilige Pasta-Gerichte und die insgesamt winzigen Portionen zu exorbitanten Preisen. Der Service war unfreundlich, und nach knapp 2 Stunden wurden wir rüde aufgefordert, das Restaurant zu verlassen, obwohl unsere Reservierung keine Zeitbeschränkung vorsah. Ich werde nie wieder hier essen und kann das auch niemandem empfehlen.

Sehr enttäuschende Restauranterfahrung! Der Service war schlicht gesagt unterirdisch: auf mehrfache Nachfrage wurden keine Preise genannt, wir wurden stark dazu gedrängt die Vorspeisenplatte vorab hinzuzunehmen, um unser eigentliches Essen schneller zu erhalten. Einfach dubios und unehrlich. Flasche Wein wie auch Flasche Wasser wurden ohne Angabe eines Preises auf den Tisch gestellt: wir durften uns hier über schlappe 50€ Kosten erfreuen. Thema Essen: es gab 1/2 Portionen Pasta (was eine bahnbrechende Überlegung), den Vollpreis für eine ganze Portion konnte man uns auf mehrmaliges Nachfragen nicht nennen (...). Wir entschieden uns daher für die 1/2 Portion. Geschmacklich prinzipiell lecker, jedoch sind knapp 20€ für 3 Ravioli (es waren tatsächlich 3 schlappe Ravioli) dann doch seeeeeeehr anmaßend. Zum Glück gab es etwas Brot...Wir konnten unsere sehr teuren Mahlzeiten nicht mal zu Ende genießen, da versuchte der Kellner ganze 3 Mal unsere Teller wegzunehmen. Selbst in einer Imbissbude wiederfährt einem sowas nicht. Erst als der Oberkellner ein Machtwort sprach wurden wir vom sehr unfreundlichen und unprofessionellen Kellner in Ruhe gelassen. Man versucht hier auf sehr vornehm zu machen, schlussendlich wird man an der Nase herumgeführt. Die positiven Bewertungen können nur auf Mitarbeiteressen zurückzuführen sein. Es ist uns ein Rätsel wie manche Gäste hierher wiederkommen. Um uns herum sind 2 Gruppen gegangen, da auch sie auf mehrfache Nachfrage keine Preise erfuhren. Ende vom Lied: hier werden wir nie wieder Essen gehen und können es auch niemandem empfehlen.

Ich war mit Freunden in diesem italienischen Restaurant in Frankfurt-Westend zum Abendessen und war schockiert über die extravagant hohen Preise für ein paar Ravioli, die noch dazu versalzen waren und nicht geschmeckt haben. Außerdem haben wir drei Gläser eines offenen Weines bestellt aber der Kellner hat uns stattdessen eine ganze Flasche berechnet. Die Bedienung fanden wir hochnäsig und überlegen. Ich kann dieses Restaurant auf keinen Fall empfehlen.

可爱安静的意大利小店。前菜南瓜汤超好喝，黑松露意面的芝士味也很浓郁。可惜甜品舒舒芙蕾没有吃，下次还会再来的。

Leckeres Essen, gute Atmosphäre, angenehmer Service.

Seit mehr als 15 Jahren gehe ich in dem Restaurant regelmäßig essen. Im Sommer ist es auf der Terrasse "im Grünen" mittags und abends sehr entspannend, innen drinnen läßt es sich aber ebenfalls sehr gut aushalten. Es gibt keine klassischen Tisch-Speisekarten, statt dessen wird einem die "große Tafel" gezeigt. Qualitativ sind sowohl Fisch als auch Fleisch sehr gut, außerhalb der Karte sind Fritto Misto di Mare und Zuppa di pesce oder - wie gerade gestern - Carpaccio mit Steinpilzen als Primi und Steinbutt mit weißem Trüffel als Secondi überragend. Preislich ist es sehr fair für die gebotene Qualität und den Service nebst Lage. Das gilt auch für Wein. Der Service ist kompetent und überaus freundlich. Das Restaurant ist meine Top-Empfehlung für "italienisch" im Westend außerhalb von Messezeiten: Während der Messezeiten ist es - wie überall in Restaurants fußläufig zur Messe oder im Innenstadtbereich - "schwierig", sprich größere Gruppen und einschränkte Karte.

Hervorragender Service in schmuckem Restaurant. Sonnengeschützter Aussenbereich mit authentisch italienischen Ambiente. Der Kellner war sehr aufmerksam, es gibt eine relativ kleine aber ausgewogene Karte, die Gerichte werden aufwändig serviert, geschmacklich waren wir sehr zufrieden.

The place and the food was really amazing. I only rated 4 stars for service because there is no printed menu to make it easy to make an order, and on top of that they couldn't understand what our order are and got us wrong things, it turned out to be delicious eventually, but still not what we ordered.

Wir waren zum Geburtstagsessen da und es war vom Service einfach nicht gut. Die Kellner waren nicht Service orientiert und es kamen nie nachfragen ob sie was bringen können etc. Man musste quasi immer rufen (mehrmals) wenn man etwas bestellen wollte. Preis ok, aber vorspeisenplatte für 20€ pro Person einfach nicht gerechtfertigt. Es fehlte das gewisse etwas.

Nichts Überdurchschnittliches... Ein Essen im Kreis von 12 Kolleginnen und Kollegen.. es gab nur eine Speisekarte auf einer Tafel und die Frage nach einer Tageskarte wurde mit dem Satz beantwortet, dass man mit zu vielen verschiedenen Bestellungen die Küche nicht überfordern will 🤦 Dann wurde in die Bestellung reingequatscht 🤦.. das Essen war okay aber mehr nicht.. der Lachs war trocken und der Spargel lappig 😏.. später haben wir noch zweimal Mineralwasser geordert, dass nicht gebracht wurde... Glaube nicht, dass ich da noch einmal hin gehe.. scheint eh nur mit Reservierung zu funktionieren..

Super lecker, sowohl das sehr zarte Fleisch, als auch der sehr frische Fisch,sehr leckere Vorspeisenplatte , alles toll zubereitet, sehr freundliche Bedienung und im Sommer auf der Terrasse sitzen möglich. Wir kommen sehr gerne immer wieder!!! Nur zu empfehlen!!! Auch die Preise sind angemessen. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an das gesamte Team!

Leckere Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte. Schönes Ambiente. Absacker wird vor Bezahlung der Rechnung abgerechnet und nach der Bezahlung nicht. Was ich ein komisches Konzept finde. Wieso wird zwei mal nach gefragt und erst der zweite ist kostenfrei?

Schöne und gemütliche Ambiente. Die Küche ist hervorragend geschmacklich und optisch. Ob Vorspeisen Teller, Fisch, Pasta, Fleisch oder Nachtisch - alles ist zu empfehlen. Alles ist gut bekömmlich. Die Portionen sind sättigend. Service und Qualität sind 5 Sterne Wert. Bedienung ist stets freundlich, vornehm und hilfsbereit. Gute Beratung bei der Auswahl der Gerichte ist viel Wert. Jederzeit empfehlenswert. Die Lokation ist nicht groß, am besten einen Tisch vorbestellen. Ist nicht billig, hier zählt die Qualität.

Leider kann ich die guten Bewertungen überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war katastrophal. Seeteufel war leider an der Grenze der Haltbarkeit, auf jeden Fall ungenießbar. Pasta von unserem Sohn war versalzen und insgesamt nicht besonders lecker. Wir mussten aufgrund großer Gesellschaft am Nachbartisch extrem lange auf unsere Hauptgerichte warten, leider sind Kellner nicht auf die Idee gekommen, uns mindestens ein Extragetränk während dieser Wartezeit anzubieten. Vorspeise und Weißwein waren ok.

Leider sehr prätentiös. Trüffel wird am Tisch mit einer Küchenwaage gewogen und per Gramm berechnet; keine Speisekarte, sondern riesige Tafel, die rumgereicht wird; Essen überteuert.

Persönliche Atmosphäre, Qualität des Essens gleichbleibend frisch und sehr gut. Die Karte variiert, Klassiker sind aber immer auch auf der Karte. Bei Wünschen zur Zubereitung, Weinauswahl oder wenn etwas nicht passt den Service ansprechen, wir kennen den Service als sehr Kundenorientiert.

Es gibt keine Karte nur eine riesige Tafel mit ganz vielen Gerichten. Nicht so dolle
