I ordered a chicken korma (to take away). Unfortunately, some of the rice was not yet cooked and the sauce was just brutally sweet. Separately we were given a kind of wasabi sauce and a mint yoghurt sauce - for whatever reason. Maybe the early hour (it wasn't quite midday yet), but I won't become a regular customer.

Restaurant with a large selection of Indian dishes at a fair price. “All you can eat” buffet package is also available at lunchtime on weekdays. We had chicken tikka (with papadam), chicken breast fillet - grilled on a skewer in the tandoor after marinating for 24 hours in a special marinade, and chicken breast fillet finely marinated with special spices, served in a mild mango sauce. Everything was great, sufficiently portioned and very tasty. The place is cozy but the seating is a bit cramped. There are a few steps in the entrance, then everything is at ground level. Parking on the side of the road is chargeable and a matter of luck. The State Gallery or the House of History are within walking distance.

Das Restaurant ist etwas eng und dunkel gestaltet. Wir wurden höflich distanziert von der indischen Bedienung begrüßt und konnten zügig bestellen. Die Speisekarte ist sehr umfangreich und lässt kaum Wünsche offen. Alle typisch indischen Gerichte waren aufgeführt und mit Hinweisen auf den Schärfegrad versehen. Mild geschärfte Speisen waren auch dezent gewürzt. Die Angaben sind zuverlässig. Leider ist die Bedienung sehr nüchtern und hat auf Rückfragen verhalten reagiert. Das Essen war hervorragend, sehr gut abgeschmeckt und ansprechend präsentiert. Leider waren die Portionen zu groß, um noch ein Dessert zu probieren. Doch wir kommen wieder, auch ohne Schlemmerblock.

I ordered biryani! Was really nice and different. I was not aware how a punjabi biryani is. They had something additional to the biryani. Only issue was it too oily.

Amazing food and service. The quantity of the curry that you get is 2 times that of any other restaurant. The rice is unlimited and also very fluffy and nice. The curry (we ordered the chicken vindaloo, fish vindaloo, and prince chilli paneer masala) itself is reminiscent of curries in India. We also ordered some roti and naan and it was filled with ghee. The roti was soft and the naan was top class. Overall amazing place and would highly recommend, I would definitely want to go again.

The hospitality and food in particular is top notch, one of the best experiences in Stuttgart yet. They even customise the order for one’s preference for best taste and avoid wastage of food. The Ambience is authentic and pure thus making it feel like home. Highly recommended this restaurant.

However, the ambience could be a bit more modern and cleaner to round off the overall picture. Nevertheless, a clear recommendation for anyone who loves Indian cuisine!

The naan was okay, the sauce for the paneer with vegetables was delicious, the paneer was okay. My companion didn't think the chicken dish was that good because it didn't taste typically Indian. It was rather emptier but also wonderfully quiet. The service was good.

I went there for dinner with my friend. We ordered Peshwari Naan (which contains coconut, raisins inside and is sweeter than normal naan), Puri/Bhuture, Shadi Paneer and Fish Pakoda. Naan comes with 4 pieces and it was too good. I didn't expect that to be good. Don't expect Bhuture it was actually puri. I expected it to be bhature so somewhat disappointed. Shahi Paneer again is too good and the quality is also very impressive. It was more than enough for two people. Fish pakoda is somewhat okaish type something special. It was just fried with gram flour, but they didn't add species to it. They gave a plate with four different kinds of chatney 1) Mango 🥭 Chatney, 2) Mint Chatney, 3)Raita kind of and 4) Chili chutney. I love mango chutney. The atmosphere is great 😃. Definitely recommend to try 🙌

Prince of India in the city of Stuttgart is a good Indian restaurant! I ordered vegetarian samosa, garlic nan and chicken tikka massala with basmati rice. The prices are good at around 15 euros for main courses and under 10 euros for starters/side dishes, various Indian restaurants in Stuttgart are more expensive (September 2024) The samosas are already quite a filling starter, I found them a bit dry, but well seasoned and totally okay with the salad. Garlic Nan was delicious, as were the dips. You can't criticize anything there. The Chicken Tikka Massala is of course the classic of Indian cuisine. Tasty and well seasoned, portion also generous. Chicken juicy and good, basmati rice also great. I took it very spicy, I could actually do with more, but I'm sure it was quite spicy for some people. Everything was packaged very well and delivered still warm, despite the longer delivery time. Overall, the price and performance are right here. Taste and portion sizes also good. Lunch is also offered. As long as the price stays the same I can really recommend it, many Indian restaurants are rather overpriced for what they offer. In my opinion it is true here.

Indian food in a German atmosphere

The place is very hot in the summer and the food does not contain the usual Indian spices. If you ask for more pepper, it will become unbearable due to its heat and the taste of this food will be lost. I do not recommend it and it is very expensive and not as expected.

Special and ethnic traditional Indian restaurant. I have been a regular customer in this restaurant. And I can say that this is the best Indian restaurant from my experience. U can even change the level of spice in each dish. Definitely recommend everyone to try this restaurant.

We went to Prince of India for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon.. they offer an "all you can eat" buffet of North Indian food.. indeed a very offer in Germany.. The owner and their staff are humble and very welcoming. The buffet has 3 vegetarian and 1-2 non vegetarian options with 1 starter and dessert. The taste was good and totally worth the money. They also have a la carte menu.. I definitely recommend a visit for delicious food and hospitality 😊

Worst experience ever, the serving staff is rude, I asked for mango lassi, they said why you want dessert, It's too much work load on us. They don't know what manners are and how to behave with customers. Even though the Punjabi owner is bad , he is behaving wisely as per the customers on different tables. The full vibe is coming like, they give different treatment to different people as they have personal issues with Indian people.

Worst Indian restaurant in Stuttgart. Taste of Chilli Paneer and Samosa was below average. We went there for dinner and owner was constantly pushing us to order something interrupting our conversations stating that later cooks would be busy, eventhough restaurant was empty whole time. He charged us more for Samosas eventhough it was on offer that day. He was constantly rotating around us expecting we might order something. And it is way costly in comparison to other Indian restaurants. We paid 25 per person. But taste is one of the worst. I won't recommend this place to anyone. PS: He neither thanked us or wished us when we left the restaurant eventhough we left tip.

First time I eat Indian food. It was absolutely delicious! They had a loooooot of options and everything sounded amazing. The service was great! And there's a cute little park for kids right beside the restaurant, so we sat at the tables outside so the baby could play at the park while we waited for our food (which didn't take too long to come) The place looked really nice inside, but as I said, we ate at the tables outside.

i just recently visited this restaurant i am giving 5 stars rating to it because the food is so delicious and you will get some special offers there and get actual Indian test and the service is top class. it is costed apparently 17 euro per person and totally worth it.

Wir sind wegen des Schlemmerblocks aufmerksam geworden. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und superschnell serviert. Die Sauberkeitsprobleme der anderen Kritiker konnten wir nicht nachvollziehen. Alles sehr sauber. Schade, dass an einem Samstag hier nicht viel los war. Besondere Aufmerksamkeit verdient das Angebot an veganen und vegetarischen Gerichten. Das hat man selten.
