Posthaus Hotel Residenz in Kronberg im Taunus

A very well-maintained and clean hotel. The couple who run it are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are large, with excellent beds and mattresses. The decor is charming. An ideal place to stay overnight in Kronberg. We would be happy to return.

Very good menus. The tarte flambée is highly recommended.

The restaurant at the Posthaus Kronberg is highly recommended. The value for money is excellent, and the food is delicious! Thanks to the seasonal menu, they offer mussels in the fall. Served in a pot, not a bowl. Great!

The restaurant is highly recommended. They have delicious beers on tap, several wines, and very tasty food. Whether it was a schnitzel or a delicious ribeye steak, we were extremely satisfied. The quality and taste were excellent. Prices are reasonable. The service is also very friendly. We would be happy to come back and look forward to our next visit.

It’s how good hotels used to be. It’s not fancy, but it’s homey, clean, comfortable and heart warming. Fantastic restaurant as well, make sure to dine there.

The single room was large, clean, and tidy, exuding a 1990s charm. However, the fact that the curtain had a large tear and the chrome plating on the sink drain was already badly worn marred the overall impression. The breakfast buffet was modest but provided a good start to the day. Unfortunately, the smell of cooking from the restaurant permeates every hallway and floor of the hotel in the evening. The hotel is centrally located and just a 5-minute walk from the S-Bahn station.

Simply great... in the middle of Kronberg... shopping is rather difficult... Hotel Posthaus is great. Food in the brasserie was great...rooms were clean and really big, I think that was great...all the staff were very friendly...breakfast left nothing to be desired...thank you for two great days...

The cleanliness in the room left a lot to be desired. Disgusting stains on the carpet, toilet seat was loose. The breakfast room has a view of a terrace. That's nice in itself. However, this terrace is overgrown with weeds, so much so that you almost lose your appetite. The rolls were hard and seemed extremely cheap. The selection of sausage/cheese was more than modest. Given the steep price, I would have expected something better. There are now different variations of breakfast eggs available in every small guesthouse. Here: none. I don't even want to tell you about the taste of the coffee. The double bed we booked was two single beds pushed together.

Familiär, sauber und toller Service

Zentral in Kronberg. Tiefgarage mit Vorteilspreus vor der Tür. Zimmer zum Platz mit Straßenreinigungspotential. Aus meiner Sicht eher ein Appartement.

Ich war sehr zufrieden. Eine praktische zentrale Lage, wo es nachts trotzdem ruhig zugeht. Einziges Manko ist die relativ teure Tiefgarage, man kann aber auch etwas außerhalb umsonst parken. Das Essen im zugehörigen Restaurant ist sehr lecker und auch das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Zusätzlich war ich von dem gemütlichen Bett positiv überrascht, nicht zu weich oder durchgelegen. Ich hatte ein behindertengerechtes Doppelzimmer und es war sehr geräumig im Badezimmer. Komme gern wieder, danke.

Sehr schöne Gaststätte, urig, an jeder Ecke gibt es etwas zu sehen. Der "Feinschmecker - Salat" legendär. Bin gerne dort.

Das Hotel liegt zentral. Das Einzelzimmer hat sogar eine gemütliche Couch und eine Küchenzeile und eine Minibar. Wenn man beim Frühstück besondere Wünsche hat, einfach fragen.

Fünf Sterne fürs Posthaus sind ein Muss, denn... Stern eins - offener und ehrlicher Umgang mit den Gästen. Stern zwei - perfekte Lage in einer stressfreien Umgebung in der Kronberger Innenstadt. Stern drei - humorvolle, charmante Bedienung. Stern vier - abwechslungsreiche Karte und Spitzenqualität in der Küche. Stern fünf - Preis und Leistung schaffen Wohlfühlklima und sorgen für Stammpublikum.

Ich war im Rahmen einer Fortbildung in Kronberg und habe mich aufgrund der unmittelbaren Nähe zur Stadthalle für das Hotel entschieden. Ich würde auch privat immer wieder dort unterkommen, die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich, ruhig gelegen und sauber, beinhalten eine kleine Küchenzeile und sind recht groß. Ein weiteres großes Plus ist die Gastfreundschaft und die zuvorkommende Atmosphäre im Hotel - vielen Dank dafür, ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt!

Wir haben, auf Grund der aktuellen Lage, Essen zum Abholen bestellt. Wir waren sehr zufrieden, sehr netter Kontakt, leckeres Essen und alles hat super geklappt! Wir bestellen wieder und hoffen, dass das auch genug andere machen werden!
