The best Greek in Schneeberg in terms of food and service... The terrace is nice, but is on the street and is unbearable when it's over 30 degrees. Overall, the building and the surrounding area are not very inviting. But the owner can't do anything about it.

The food was very tasty, portions were not oversized. Just the surroundings with the closed shops and that Barriers with fluttering tape are not that great. If you sit on the terrace, the street below can be quite annoying.

Had dinner there with my family today. 3 children, my wife and I. Staff very nice and friendly to my children too! Good selection of children's dishes and there is also everything for adults. We would love to come back, thank you very much

If you want to go out for a nice meal with the whole family, the Greek restaurant Poseidon in Schneeberg is just right. Very good service and great food are provided. There is a well-chilled ouzo to welcome you. The drinks are well chilled, except for the red wine of course, and you don't have to wait long for your orders. Went for dinner with 16 people, everything was perfect. It is better to reserve a table on Saturday.

It tastes very good and the staff is always super friendly, but unfortunately the price-performance ratio has declined recently.

Were there for the first time and will definitely come back. The food was very good and the portions were large enough. The rest was packed for us without any problems. The only point of criticism are the chairs on the terrace, which we found uncomfortable.

Mass production, everything heated in the microwave. Nothing on the starter plate was freshly prepared at all, even the lemon, and the main course was not freshly cut.

Were there for the first time, yucky from the outside, yucky from the inside. Well, salad wasn't the best option, as the dressing was simply brought in a dollop, tasted like soup seasoning and was very salty and thick. Had the village plate, gyros was too salty and also red in color? The rest of the plate was fine.

It's always nice with our local Greeks. We visited for the first time in 2 years and were pleasantly surprised. The music has been drastically reduced so that you can have a pleasant conversation again. The slightly lower midweek prices have been reduced, but at 17.90 euros the prices for the huge portions are still very acceptable. We will be back definitely.

The Greek Poseidon has the classic Greek dishes but they taste so much better than others. The atmosphere is very nice and comfortably furnished. The menu is extensive and there is also something for children. The staff is nice and accommodating. In my opinion the best Greek in the area and always worth a visit.

The staff was nice, but other than that I didn't like it there. Too loud, mass processing and the food was far too dry and hard because it was kept warm for so long. The plates looked careless. And there is so little tzatziki on the plate that you are forced to order an extra portion.

Greek cuisine restaurant in Schneeberg, large and well-kept. Menu with a lot of variety of choice, some dishes faithful to the original, others with a bit of German flavour, but all really good. Ouzo offered at the beginning and end of the evening. The owner is very kind and friendly, the same goes for all the staff. Fast service, really excellent value for money. Highly recommended

Very nice service, the food was great... we like to go somewhere Essen, Aue/SZB... but where? .. We now like to come to the Poseidon in Schneeberg more often..... really thumbs up for the kitchen and service👍👍 small addition after another visit... everything was great, great terrace, .... only gyros from the rotisserie are something different than what you get, nothing more... but everything remains 5 stars.....

When we arrived the hut was packed. Nevertheless, we were allowed to burst. And after dinner we were almost bursting. Tasty, plentiful and good value for money. With starters and lots of drinks for 4 people 147 euros - that's fair. Full recommendation.

We relied on the many good reviews and were there full of anticipation. Unfortunately we cannot agree with this. The ambience is good and the staff is also very nice. But the food... it's just OK, but not more than OK. Somehow everything tasted bland and we both had stomach problems the whole evening and night. And a good restaurant depends on the food. We definitely won't go there again.

Außen Pfui, Innen hui! Das Gebäude ist mit seinen Absperrbändern, Nässe und Dreck nicht sehr einladend. Davon darf man sich nicht abschrecken lassen. Das Restaurant bietet freundliches Personal, wohlschmeckende Küche, gemütliches Ambiente. Preis-Leistung empfehlenswert.

Wir waren zu viert essen und die Männer waren mit ihrem Fleisch zufrieden. Jedoch ist das Moussakka überhaupt nicht zu empfehlen. Es war sehr verkocht, hatte wenig Geschmack ( Gewürze fehlten) und war vom Preis total überteuert. Zudem war es lieblos auf einem Teller platziert, somit schnell ausgekühlt beim Essen. Das Personal war aufmerksam und freundlich.

Leider seit vielen Jahren nichts investiert worden. Der Service ist super. Beim Essen ist Luft nach oben...

Wir waren hier mit 4 Leuten essen und der Service war sehr gut, aber die Qualität des Essen leider nicht. Die Speisen waren recht lieblos angerichtet und die Pommes sehr weich und überhaupt nicht knusprig. Schade da der Geschmack von Fleisch und Salat nicht schlecht gewesen ist. Der Zugang zum Restaurant ist nicht sehr einladent da es recht schmutzig war und vor dem Eingang direkt die Raucherecke ist. Leider nicht sehr lecker. Im Gastraum war es jedoch sauber und gemütlich.

Für unser Geld etwas mehr Qualität erwartet und lieblos angerichtet. Ein Scampi für 4 € ist schon eine Hausnummer.

Für mich der erste und letzte Besuch. Die Metaxa Sauce war kalt. Nach einem Hinweis kam sie noch mal kalt (es wurde nur welche hinzugefügt) und danach war sie eindeutig zu lange in der Mikrowellen. Eigentlich freundliches Personal aber das Essen ohne Geschmack und für das was auf dem Teller war auch viel zu teuer. Salat war nur Blattwerk in Öl - sehr lieblos alles. Schade ☹️

Essen war viel und gut. Ambiente grenzwertig, uns war es zu laut. Service nach kurzen Anlaufschwierigkeiten gut.

Das Essen ist lecker aber teuer. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Leider ist es sehr eng und dadurch sehr laut wenn viele Gäste da sind.

Leckeres Essen und sehr nette Bedingungen. Ich geh gerne hin und werde es auch weiterhin tun. Update: Essen und Personal sind nach wie vor perfekt. Etwas erschrocken war ich jedoch beim letzten Besuch, als plötzlich 3 Geigenspieler an unserem Tisch standen (kleiner Junge, 2 Männer). Das war mir sehr unangenehm und vielen anderen Gästen auch. Zum Schluss sind sie rum gegangen und hab Geld einsammeln wollen. Ich mag das einfach nicht und möchte dort in Ruhe Essen. Vielleicht war es ja nur eine Ausnahme.

Der bestellte Olympos-Teller ist sehr zu empfehlen. Grundsätzlich ist griechisches Essen etwas fleischlastig, aber die dargebotenen Fleischsorten waren allesamt zart und sehr lecker gewürzt. Dazu ein Salat mit einer wohlschmeckende Joghurtsoße und lecker Tsaziki Als Dank des Hauses ein Nachtisch aus leckerem griechische Joghurt mit leckereren, eingelegten Rosinen. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Hervorragendes Erlebnis im griechischen Restaurant Poseidon Ich möchte gerne meine Begeisterung für das griechische Restaurant Poseidon zum Ausdruck bringen. Nicht nur, dass ich mit meinem braven Hund herzlich willkommen war, sondern auch das Essen und der Service waren absolut top. Das Restaurant bietet eine vielfältige Auswahl an griechischen Spezialitäten, die mich geschmacklich vollkommen überzeugt haben. Die Gerichte waren frisch zubereitet, reichhaltig und authentisch. Besonders empfehlenswert sind die köstlichen Gyros-Gerichte und die knusprigen Calamari. Der Service war außergewöhnlich freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Personal war stets bemüht, alle Wünsche zu erfüllen und sorgte für eine angenehme Atmosphäre während meines Besuchs. Insgesamt hatte ich ein hervorragendes Erlebnis im Restaurant und kann es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Ich freue mich bereits auf meinen nächsten Besuch dort.

Das Poseidon hat leckere Speisen, ein sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal und die Preise sind auch erschwinglich🥰 Egal ob Regen oder Sonnenschein, man kann sich auf der Terrasse raussetzen oder drinnen win Plätzchen geben lassen, die Atmosphäre bleibt gleich-gemütlich👍🏿

Super leckere authentische Küche zum fairen Preis. Wir machen häufig Urlaub in Griechenland und haben uns in das Essen verliebt. Hier gibt es eine tolle Oase in Deutschland um dem Urlaub etwas näher zu kommen.

Essen so lala … Service unter aller Sau…. Preis Leistung ungenügend…. Ouzo muss erfragt werden… einmal und nie wieder………………,..

Wir kommen aus Zwickau auf dem Rückweg vom "Erlebnisbad Schlema" regelmäßig hier vorbei. Im Vergleich zu den Zwickauer griechischen Restaurants liegt das POSEIDON klar vorn. Das Zaziki & die gegrillten Pepperoni schmecken immer fantastisch. Die diversen ausprobierten Hauptgerichte auch. Das Dressing zum Salat vorab ist geschmacklich unerreichbar. Dazu gibt es einen Top-Service und nette sympathische Inhaber...

Die Bedienung war überfordert, die Speisen und Getränke waren teuer. Früher war es besser. Wechselnde Besatzung des Teams.

Wir sind hier spontan eingekehrt, die Bedienung war rasch zur Stelle. Die Portionen waren reichlich und sehr lecker. Für 3 Personen haben wir mit Vorspeisen, Hauptgang und Getränke 54€ bezahlt. Wir halten hier gern wieder.

Helt okej mat, med bra väntetider för mat. Trevlig personal. Trevlig stämning på restaurangen. Vi fick gratis Ozo som ”fördrink” och dessutom en gratis likör som efterrätt. Bra ställe.

Ich hatte die Hoffnung schon fast aufgegeben, ein griechisches Restaurant mit leckerem Moussaka zu finden. Hier ist es. Sehr lecker - auch der Salat und sehr freundliches Personal. Jederzeit wieder!!!

Wir waren schon oft hier, obwohl wir aus Zwickau kommen. Das spricht schonmal für das Restaurant. Diesmal gab es Tzatziki & gegrillte Peperoni als Vorspeise. Es folgten gegrillter Lachs und Seezungenfilet. Alles schmeckte hervorragend. Das Salatdressing muss ich noch erwähnen. Das klingt vielleicht banal, aber für mich ist es wichtig. Ein griechischer Mocca & ein flambierter Metaxa beschlossen den Abend. Bis zum nächsten Mal...

Sau lecker , super schnell selbst mit 22 Mann noch nicht einmal 30 min . bis alle ihr Essen hatten . Würde jederzeit wieder kommen

Anfangs dachte ich griechisches restaurant in Ostdeutschland .. - aber von wegen - von aussen in einem Einkaufscenter gelegen - nicht wirklich der resisser - wenn auch die Terasse - für den kurzen Sommer - durchaus schöne Abende verspricht. Aber Anfang November ?? Gut besucht war das restaurant. Zuvorkommendes Personal. Wie üblich bestellte ich Grillteller modifiziert - also nur Gyros,Lammsteaks und Beilagen. Was soll ich sagen ? alles zu meiner vollsten Zufriedenheit - sogar der salat !! Zaziki lecker - nicht zu knoblauchlastig. Lammkoteletts und Gyros schön braun aber nicht verbrannt. Als Vorbrenner gabs Ouzo, hinterher flambierten Metaxa - all dies unter 13 euro !!
