I was there for the first time today. Absolutely fantastic! The food was delicious and freshly prepared. You could tell the gyros was homemade, as was the sauce. The service was incredibly friendly, and they kept asking if we were enjoying our meal and if we'd like anything else to drink. They even had ouzo. We had three rounds of ouzo today, which isn't always the case. It's a bit noisy, but you can still easily have a conversation. That's why I'm only giving it four stars. All in all, though, the food was great, the service was excellent, and everyone felt comfortable.

If there were six stars, I'd give them. I'd rather never go to a restaurant again. Price, quality, and service... you have to experience it for yourself.

We were really disappointed... We've eaten there several times before, but last week was awful. Unfortunately, the owner was incredibly unfriendly; he's completely unlike us. He didn't listen to our requests at all, which was a shame! We won't be coming back anytime soon.

We were a group of 25 and were very satisfied with everything, although the service dipped slightly towards the end. Otherwise, all the guests were completely happy. I can highly recommend Galini. We've already made another reservation. A wonderful host couple and fantastic staff.

The food was great. I had baked feta cheese and gyros in Metaxa sauce. The service was also good. The only downside was the noise level, as the tables were very close together. All in all, though, very good.

My wife had to convince me to go here, as I've had a favorite Greek restaurant for years. Now I have two! :-) Fantastic service, excellent food, you just feel right at home. We're there quite often now; they even make your own gyros spit and grind the meat yourself. The gyros pita to go is also incredibly good. If I had to find fault with anything, it would be the salad dressing for the side salad; it's not quite to my taste! You have to try it! Yamaha!

Good food at fair prices. There are plenty of staff, but they sometimes lack a focused approach to customer service. If you enjoy drinking a lot of ouzo and like chatting with the owner, you'll certainly feel at home here. However, the restaurant itself isn't very inviting; there's simply no atmosphere. On a positive note, the food here has a more unique flavor than what you'd expect from Greek cuisine in Germany—please keep it that way.

We were greeted with a handshake and shown to our table. The menu can change very quickly, and 30 seconds later, the question arises as to whether we already know what we'd like to drink. After asking for time to study the menu, we were able to attract a lot of attention and order our drinks. After we had chosen our food, things moved along fairly quickly. Ouzo before the meal and with the salad were on the house, then came the grilled platter, and a little later the sauce. It tasted good, but a bit too little, so we had dessert. Ordered the bill, waited. The manager came, first checked the bills for the tables on his way to us, who then said they'd like the bill. Then a small dessert was on the house (ice cream instead of yogurt, since we'd already had a large one), and other tables continued to be billed. Eventually, everyone except us had been served, and we also received the bill (of course, we had to go and get the card machine first; I'd only said "cards please" twice). Conclusion: Food good, portions OK, service friendly and always attentive.

You immediately notice that his guests' well-being is close to his heart. This was our first time eating at Galini's, and it definitely won't be our last. Making a last-minute reservation was absolutely no problem. The restaurant was very busy. The food was delicious and plentiful, and the staff very friendly.

I enjoy coming here; the staff are extremely attentive and friendly, but never intrusive. The side dishes, like rice, tzatziki, or fried potatoes, could perhaps be a bit more generous with some dishes, but the main course is definitely more than enough to fill you up. The prices are reasonable. When the restaurant is full, the noise level can be quite high. The service compensates for this with small additions from time to time. I'd be happy to return.

Today, the three of us went there for the first time, driving from a bit further away after reading the many good reviews. The reviews are truly accurate. The food is delicious, the portions are generous. You can taste the freshness, including the fact that the gyro is hand-cut and marinated. The lamb platter was divine. Very tender, perfectly grilled, and wonderfully seasoned. My mixed grill was also delicious. All in all, a fantastic Greek restaurant. The service was just as excellent and friendly! We'll definitely be back.

For the second time, but certainly not the last, we enjoyed an excellent meal. So far, all the dishes have been delicious and refined with Greek spices, perfectly fitting the Greek ambiance. Fresh ingredients, imaginatively presented, and leaving you wanting more. The family business works hand in hand and is incredibly hospitable. The father, in particular, makes every effort to keep an eye on all the tables. Maria, in particular, has perfected the service. It's a pleasure to dine with such warm hospitality. Galini can only be recommended!

We've been to Galini several times now. What we find very positive is that the dishes on offer are consistently very good, appetizingly presented, and well-seasoned. The quality of the food is also consistently good. The service is very friendly and attentive; when we reserved a table in advance, everything always went smoothly. The ouzo for the chef, as well as a small dessert greeting from the kitchen, are really nice gestures. The decor is, well, let's say a bit dated; especially the chairs aren't really trustworthy anymore and could perhaps use a few drops of glue. But, despite all the positive aspects, there is also a fly in the ointment. Greek music is beautiful, especially when the chef is passionate about it. But when a party speaker comes into play and the volume is turned up to disco mode, then a cozy meal and, above all, pleasant conversation at the table is absolutely no longer possible. Especially with larger tables, such as a birthday party. Goodbye restaurant atmosphere. And unfortunately, this has happened on almost every visit so far, no matter what day or time. And unfortunately, you start to think about whether you want to come here often or even hold a small celebration there. That's a real shame, since there are fewer and fewer good restaurants.

The food... I had lamb... was almost all fat and hardly any meat. The fries looked like fried potatoes, only less cooked and cold. The salad... very tasteless, it was completely lacking. It tasted like it had been washed with cream. The atmosphere isn't very inviting. The noise level – we were in the next room – was very annoying... you couldn't even really have a conversation with the person across from you. In short... we won't be going there again.

We ate here for the first time, as we were looking for a good Greek restaurant. As it turns out, we should have come much earlier, because it was fantastic. There were three of us. We had a cold and a warm appetizer platter, and calamari and bifteki for the main course. Everything was shared, as is customary in Greece. We all enjoyed it very much. It would have been nice if there were more fish and seafood on the menu. But even so, there's something for everyone. The atmosphere is friendly and attentive, as is the chef. A very good ouzo was also included on the house for everyone. The restaurant is decorated in a Greek style, everything very authentic. We've definitely found our new regular Greek restaurant.

We went to Galini for dinner for our wedding anniversary, and I have to say it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The service was super friendly, and the food, from starters to dessert, was a delight. We'll definitely be back.

Staff very friendly, the food is very good and the prices are normal.

Fresh food, top quality. The price-performance ratio is right. The starter platters, whether warm or cold, are amazing and are enough for two people. The creams melt away. Every main course we had was amazing and they weren't greasy or swimming in oil. Service friendly, attentive and fun to have. You feel like you're in Greece. At the end there was a cake as a greeting from the kitchen. If we go out for Greek food again, it will be here.

Personally, there are too many tables in the small room for me and that's why the volume is very loud and you can't hear the people sitting next to you very well. The service was good but we had to wait a long time for drinks. But nonetheless, you can overlook it because of the good food. 😉

Very nice evening! We were lucky enough to have a table there for our anniversary. We have rarely felt so welcome. The boss and his team are so welcoming, it was a lot of fun. The ambience is “typical” for a Greek restaurant here, but I found the food to be very good in comparison. We had different dishes and all the meats were very good. All in all, very tasty and above all very nice. We'll be back.

I don't want to be forced to drink ouzo three times when I've communicated that I don't drink alcohol

The boss is very nice but sometimes a bit too pushy, I prefer it quieter :) . However, very child-friendly. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated but very noisy when there are already 5 tables occupied. The food is very cheap. The side salad consists of a few lettuce leaves and a lot of cabbage, the dressing doesn't taste good. The main course was okay for the price quoted (lamb). What stands out are the delicious potatoes, crispy and well seasoned. For dessert we were served a cake that was far too sweet and greasy, which is not to everyone's taste.

I can't say anything negative. Fine dining Price-performance ratio is right. Appetizer was so delicious. I can only recommend it. So as a starter I had calamares with garlic dip, and as a main course I had stuffed bifteki with sheep's cheese. Ouzo was available as much as you could drink, on the house. But I don't drink alcohol. So I don't need anything like that. You deserve 5 stars. If you want to eat moussaka, please order in advance because it is freshly prepared.

The food was unrivaled. The dishes, which are slightly different from those of other restaurants, were particularly convincing. The service was actually 5+ stars. The only thing I would have liked to break up the very large room with room dividers was the ambience in the very large adjoining room, but that's easy to fix.

Absolute enthusiasm! We spontaneously came here with 6 adults and 5 small children. Extremely friendly, fond of children and humorous staff.
