Absolutely recommended! The food was fantastic – fresh, authentic, and prepared with great care. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive. We felt completely at ease. We'll definitely be back.

Everything was fine and perfectly acceptable – nothing extraordinary, but it's a really nice place to eat. They definitely deserve four stars, but it's just not quite enough for five. The booking system was particularly positive: booking online was straightforward and worked perfectly.

We were here today with a group of eight people. It got quite crowded in the evening. And loud. Even so, the owner was hardly willing to turn the music down. It wasn't subtle Greek music, unfortunately. Also, the lighting was so dim that I've rarely experienced it. If you're meeting up for a romantic candlelight dinner, it would be just about okay, but we would all have felt much better with more light and less music. The food was good, but not exactly plentiful. I had the advertised swordfish; yes, it was fine, but there were only two small slices. It also came with four slices of zucchini. And some small potatoes in their skins—which are annoying to peel, and they weren't good with the skins either. Honestly, I don't want to eat there next time. I didn't feel comfortable.

I'd describe the food as standard. The vegetables were mushy, the meat was okay. The waiters were very friendly, albeit a bit inattentive to empty glasses. But that could also have been because the restaurant was completely full.

The restaurant isn't particularly bright. They offer few Greek dishes. The prices are a bit too high, and the taste is nothing special. The service could be a bit friendlier. Before 10 p.m., you'll be warned that they're about to close, even though there are still a few guests there.

We try to accommodate allergies. Unfortunately, there are language barriers. Otherwise, it was delicious.

An exceptionally delicious, professional restaurant in the heart of Heidenheim. The chefs, the service, everyone puts their heart and soul into it and makes you feel welcome. The dark, relaxed atmosphere is perfect for a romantic evening for two. While there aren't many vegetarian dishes, for everyone else, the food is nothing short of 10/10! The gyro plate is second to none. I recommend making a reservation in advance, though.

After years of searching, I found a 100% Greek restaurant. It was a fantastic evening.

We were there for the first time yesterday. It was a fantastic evening. The food was excellent and arrived very quickly. The waiters were very attentive and friendly. Only the dim lighting and the smell of food on our clothes after our visit slightly detracted from our experience. Otherwise, it was top-notch!

Reserved for today, August 23, 2025, for 3 people. The decor is functional, not traditional. The aisles are very narrow and cramped (or there's simply too much furniture, which suggests profit maximization). The service is very simple and straightforward, but it was more than a tad too intrusive for me, and I'm not sure I was understood. The salad served after the obligatory ouzo was... so edible that one could only detect a hint of dressing—except for the water. The lunch menu was manageable and seasoned more spartanly than Greek. My conclusion: If you don't value tradition, quality, culinary delights, etc., you're in good hands there. The "boss" took my muted criticism—only—of the salad relatively seriously, but wanted me to work for his kitchen immediately, as good staff was hard to find (original quote, and there are two witnesses for this). For me, it was the first and last time under this management that I set foot there again.

We arrived with a well-behaved, well-trained dog and were refused entry. I've never experienced such a dog-unfriendly restaurant.

Good Greek restaurant, I definitely recommend the appetizers and fish dishes (the sea bream was juicy and tender as butter). The waiters are attentive and polite. It's a mix of German and Greek atmosphere, but we found it a bit dark. But definitely recommended!

Unfortunately, the quality of the food has declined compared to a few years ago. The gyro meat, for example, was a bit dry, and the salad had been dressed a long time ago. The portions are average, and the price-performance ratio is unfortunately only okay. The ambiance is perfectly fine.

We were on our way home from vacation. We spontaneously decided on this Greek restaurant. Very inviting, tastefully decorated, discreetly lit with lamps and candles, soft music in the background. Best place for food and break. A large selection of dishes; What we chose was served very quickly and appetizingly on our table. Very fine food, many thanks to the thoughtful and courteous service people in the restaurant and kitchen. Very happy again.

It was our first time in HDH and we ordered a table online. It couldn't be simpler or more digital. An Ouso for everyone as an aperitif - and for our short one (4) a Sprite in a shot glass so that he can also have a say. The food was super good and more than plentiful and inexpensive. Next time we're in HDH we'll go there again, no question.

Well...grilled gyros with calamari...with salad...the price is ok...but the portions are small...location...very dark...taste...average...salad, water dressed with garlic. ..leaf lettuce...suggested carrot...not particularly nicely prepared and ready...it's a shame, I think the Delphi with Absrand is the better choice in Heidenheim...sorry

Four of us went to the Poseidon for a meeting. The service is very good, the reception was super friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the tables are very narrow, leaving little space for the service and the guests. The food is really very good, we had two starters and two main courses that tasted very good and were also very generous in size. As already written, the service is very courteous and very friendly! We will definitely be back and can definitely recommend Poseidon!

Hello everyone, one word first: MEGA! But from the beginning: 1. Reservation: made via Open Table, very good. With a table request that was perfectly fulfilled by the team. 2. Greeting: We came as strangers and left as friends. In no other restaurant have we been greeted with a handshake as completely unknown guests who were there for the first time. Great! 3. Service: What can we say other than Fantastic! Very quick, extremely friendly and nice, there at all times, but not intrusive in any way. Terrific! 4. Food: my wife had the black tiger prawns, I had the classic gyros. As a starter, fried pepperoni and olives in olive oil and garlic. Unlike some other Greek restaurants, the pepperoni was not drowned in garlic (paste). The ratio of olive oil to garlic was absolutely balanced. The prawns were exquisite and the gyros were super tender. The tzatziki is not garlicky but has a great fresh note of dill. 5. Farewell: Just as warm and friendly as the greeting. 6. Insider tip: Metaxa private reserve: Nowhere else have you ever had this divine drink served in this way, a glass of hot water with a large cognac snifter on top to bring the drink of the gods up to temperature. Simply delicious! CONCLUSION: We will definitely come back, for us the best Greek restaurant in Heidenheim and the surrounding area. Thank you for a wonderful evening. We enjoyed it very much!!

We had made a reservation and were immediately shown to our table. We didn't have to wait long and our drink order was taken. They came straight away too. When we had chosen our food, the always friendly service welcomed us straight away. The food came to our table promptly and was very tasty. The wine, too, but the price for it was already high. The waitress kept asking what we wanted. You didn't have to make an effort if you wanted something else. The atmosphere wasn't overly Greek. Otherwise it was quite cozy. The restaurant was busy so it was a bit noisy. Maybe on other days - we were there on Saturday evening - it's a little quieter. All in all, it was quite good to eat there. Portions were sufficient and tasty. We will definitely come back again.

Although it was Saturday, the dishes could be selected from the lunch menu. The redfish fillet was cooked to perfection and the combination gyros with calamari were also very tasty. Price/performance was great. 30 euros for 2 meals, 2 drinks are unbeatable, plus 2 ouzo on the house. Very friendly staff

This is my second time visiting this restaurant and I have to say I remember it better the first time. We have a lot of Greek restaurants in comparison, although we don't even want to compare them with those in Greece, that's not possible. The starters were nothing special, we've had better, with a variety of cold and hot options for the same price. The main courses were also quite simple. The taste was okay, but not outstanding. What should be highlighted, however, is the really excellent service. The staff is very attentive without being intrusive. You will be warmly greeted as soon as you enter the restaurant and also warmly farewell.

You don't feel welcome at reception, there is no communication at all, at least a "Hello" would have been possible. How often I judge something negatively and who I judge at all is none of your business.
