Hello everyone, one word first: MEGA! But from the beginning: 1. Reservation: made via Open Table, very good. With a table request that was perfectly fulfilled by the team. 2. Greeting: We came as strangers and left as friends. In no other restaurant have we been greeted with a handshake as completely unknown guests who were there for the first time. Great! 3. Service: What can we say other than Fantastic! Very quick, extremely friendly and nice, there at all times, but not intrusive in any way. Terrific! 4. Food: my wife had the black tiger prawns, I had the classic gyros. As a starter, fried pepperoni and olives in olive oil and garlic. Unlike some other Greek restaurants, the pepperoni was not drowned in garlic (paste). The ratio of olive oil to garlic was absolutely balanced. The prawns were exquisite and the gyros were super tender. The tzatziki is not garlicky but has a great fresh note of dill. 5. Farewell: Just as warm and friendly as the greeting. 6. Insider tip: Metaxa private reserve: Nowhere else have you ever had this divine drink served in this way, a glass of hot water with a large cognac snifter on top to bring the drink of the gods up to temperature. Simply delicious! CONCLUSION: We will definitely come back, for us the best Greek restaurant in Heidenheim and the surrounding area. Thank you for a wonderful evening. We enjoyed it very much!!

Once again very tasty, nice staff

We had made a reservation and were immediately shown to our table. We didn't have to wait long and our drink order was taken. They came straight away too. When we had chosen our food, the always friendly service welcomed us straight away. The food came to our table promptly and was very tasty. The wine, too, but the price for it was already high. The waitress kept asking what we wanted. You didn't have to make an effort if you wanted something else. The atmosphere wasn't overly Greek. Otherwise it was quite cozy. The restaurant was busy so it was a bit noisy. Maybe on other days - we were there on Saturday evening - it's a little quieter. All in all, it was quite good to eat there. Portions were sufficient and tasty. We will definitely come back again.

Although it was Saturday, the dishes could be selected from the lunch menu. The redfish fillet was cooked to perfection and the combination gyros with calamari were also very tasty. Price/performance was great. 30 euros for 2 meals, 2 drinks are unbeatable, plus 2 ouzo on the house. Very friendly staff

This is my second time visiting this restaurant and I have to say I remember it better the first time. We have a lot of Greek restaurants in comparison, although we don't even want to compare them with those in Greece, that's not possible. The starters were nothing special, we've had better, with a variety of cold and hot options for the same price. The main courses were also quite simple. The taste was okay, but not outstanding. What should be highlighted, however, is the really excellent service. The staff is very attentive without being intrusive. You will be warmly greeted as soon as you enter the restaurant and also warmly farewell.

But here too I'm disappointed, why do you pay €7.90 for a 0.7l bottle of water in the beer garden in summer. We came spontaneously on Sunday and were lucky that we got a table for a certain time slot because unfortunately we didn't make a reservation. Our chosen meal came without any long wait and it tasted great. The service is very prompt and everything happens very quickly, but the store was completely booked. Our visit there was spontaneous because we were on vacation in Heidenheim and were looking for a restaurant.

We are currently on a short vacation in Heidenheim! We go out for a delicious meal every time and wanted to exchange Greek here. There was Poseidon! The reservation went quickly and the anticipation is increasing. In the end we are disappointed! The ambience inside was only visible outside in hot weather, like today. When I went to the toilet, everything inside was dark and uninviting. The staff wasn't exactly friendly and that's exactly what happened with the meal. Prepared very quickly, and that's exactly what you noticed when you ate it. Meat not cooked through and the salad so dry that it tastes more like a rabbit than a human. Then there's the over-salting of the food. In the end the price wasn't even fair to the food (just not recommended) Price and performance simply fell by the wayside. In addition, the poor staff simply cannot recommend the Poseidon of Heidenheim.

Simply absolutely recommended! The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. Super tasty, rather large portions and a large selection. But what's most convincing is that the men are on their toes and super friendly at all times, even when the house is full. As a guest you feel absolutely welcome and can simply enjoy food and drink in comfort without having to constantly fight for the waiter's attention (as is unfortunately now the case in many places). Here you simply feel comfortable and are pampered☺️ and it wasn't our first visit and it won't be the last either. Thank you, welcome again at any time! 👍🏼😁

Very nice restaurant with friendly service. The price-performance ratio is very good and the portions are nice and big. There are a few dishes to choose from and we all really enjoyed them. Traditionally there is an ouzo at the beginning. We will definitely eat here again.

We ate at Poseidon today and were very satisfied. The food (1x gyros, calamari with rice, tzatziki and salad as well as 1x chicken breast) was excellent! The restaurant is worth recommending.

Food is great and came very quickly. Service is ok. The atmosphere is rather old-fashioned. But the food easily makes up for it.

It’s delicious, but personally, I didn’t have enough spices and vegetables in the moussaka; the bechamel covered everything up with its milky taste. Definitely service at the highest level, thank you. The atmosphere was pleasant with pleasant music, but the company at the next table was too loud.

Wir gehen immer wieder gerne ins Poseidon. Das Essen ist lecker, die Karte bietet ausreichend Auswahl an griechischen wie auch internationalen Gerichten, und der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Besonder hervorheben möchten wir das klassische Gyros, die Lammkeule, die gegrillte Dorade und der Vorspeisenteller und natürlich ein Glas leckeres Mythos Bier. Wir empfehlen einen Besuch im Restaurant Poseidon.

Schon bei der Bestellung am Vorabend ist mir die Höflichkeit am Telefon aufgefallen. Bei der Abholung genau das Selbe! Essen war sehr gut , danke !

Da es nicht mein Stammgrieche ist ich aber positiv überrascht war natürlich eine Bewertung. Zum Vergleich zu meinem Stammgrieche gibt es hier Abzüge für Ambiente und die unbequemen Stühle. Da ich immer das selbe esse war ich hier etwas enttäuscht von meinem Gericht,hatte Gyros mit Metaxa Soße. Salat war schön angerichtet und in Ordnung. Das beste war der Service super freundlich und nett. Aber interessant mal was anderes zu probieren.

Ich mag das Poseidon und das seit dem ich Kindesalter. Ich bin empfindlich gegen Geschmacksverstärker und mag auch sonst kein billiges Essen alla Dose oder aufgewärmtes Industrie-essen. Daher, danke dass Ihr immer noch da seid :)

Ich war das erste Mal hier essen (alleine), sofort mit Handschlag begrüßt. 🤝 Sofort einen Tisch, nicht wie üblich wenn man alleine ist in der dunkelsten Ecke bekommen👍 Alle Angestellten waren extrem freundlich (nicht übertrieben) und sehr aufmerksam. Das Essen (Gyros Teller mit Pita) war sehr gut. Ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen. FAZIT: Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Mein absolutes Lieblingslokal. Die Messlatte liegt im Poseidon sehr hoch, da können die meisten Restaurants die ich kenne nicht mithalten. Das Essen ist immer 1a, das Servicepersonal ist immer freundlich und aufmerksam und es ist ein gemütliches und schönes Restaurant. Wir haben schon viele tolle Abende da verbracht und sind immer mit einem Lächeln raus. Ein großes Lob und Dankeschön an das ganze Team.

Nettes Griechisches Restaurant mit einer guten Auswahl an typischen Gerichten. Sehr schmackhafte Vorspeisen und passenden Hauptgerichten. Hier wird sicher jeder entsprechend fündig. Ausgesprochen freundlicher Empfang und flinker Service. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren Sonntag mittag da, sassen auf der schönen Terrasse, Blick kns Grüne. Ein Ouzo zur Begrüssung, freundlicher flotter Service, tolles Essen, viele griechische Spezialitäten, die Qual der Wahl. Gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Ich hatte Calamari, Salate, toll und was für Hungrige! Kann ich empfehlen.

Der Service war gut und schnell, die Portionen waren groß und lecker, die Dolamdes waren mit Hackfleisch, was nicht auf der Karte angezeigt wurde, aber dennoch sehr lecker. Leider gab es kein Moussakas wie auf der Karte angezeigt, aber das war bis jetzt in jedem Griechischen Restaurant in Deutschland Fall...

Schöne Candle-Light Atmosphäre, charmante Kellner, tolle Auswahl und super leckeres Essen und Wein zu moderaten Preisen. Wir hatten mit Feta gefüllte Calamari (16,90€) und eine Riesen Portion Galaktoboureko (6,90€). Zum Schluss gab es noch eine Ouzo auf's Haus. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.
