Portofino in Lübeck

I had the pleasure of visiting Pizzeria Portofino in Lübeck and all I can say is that it was an absolute delight! The pizzas are simply fantastic – perfectly baked, with fresh ingredients and a great taste. Every pizza I tried was a little masterpiece! I would particularly like to highlight the appetizers. The focaccia with the garlic dip is an absolute must! It's so flavorful and goes perfectly with the crusty slices of bread. A wonderful start to the meal! The atmosphere in the restaurant is also very welcoming and the staff is friendly and attentive. I can only warmly recommend the Pizzeria Portofino - every pizza lover will get their money's worth here!

Popped in for dinner when visiting the town for a few days, really good pizza, good services, nice spot! Was busy, we were lucky to get a table without a reservation.

Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Be sure to reserve on weekends. We had pizza and pasta. Both very tasty. You can also sit outside. There also seems to be an igloo outside in winter.

The pizza and atmosphere were good, but the salad wasn't good and was very expensive. The leaves were already brownish at the edges and some were wilted.

I was recently in the pizzeria and all I can say is: Here, love is pushed through the stomach. The crust is crispy, the topping is juicy, and the atmosphere is simply unbeatable. You can smell the delicious scent before you even open the door. 5 out of 5 stars – I’ll definitely be back!

Very nice and small restaurant with Italian dishes. A typical Italian restaurant in Germany, unfortunately without its own fish and meat dishes that are typically Italian. Just pasta and pizza. Although that's not entirely true, because the dishes on offer are even better. I would even go as far as: “Best pizza and pasta within 25 km. So the taste is excellent! And you don't have to wait long for the food you ordered. The size and price are good. Friendly, competent and fast service. Given the ambience, I suspect that eating in the courtyard in summer is more spacious than the indoor dining room. Unfortunately everything is a bit tight. I would recommend reservations. All in all, we'd love to come back! It was very very good!

Had dinner there today and was still blown away. The restaurant is beautifully located on the water and has a beautiful courtyard where you can eat. There is also a nice atmosphere inside as you can see directly how the pizza is being prepared. You feel like you're in Italy and the taste intensifies this feeling🥰 It's been a long time since I've had pizza this good. The dough is amazing!!! I'd love to come back

The pizzas are super tasty and great, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, thin dough. Since I've already been to Italy, I also have a comparison. The service was good, but we were a little disappointed, we all wanted to try the homemade bread, which had supposedly just been served, but it was a bit weak on a Sunday at 5:30 p.m. and then our neighboring tables received their homemade bread directly with our food. When we asked, it was explained to us that shortly afterwards there was some again...weak, they could have told us that, especially since the restaurant was not very busy.

Tables are quite close together and accessibility is not really a given. Fully occupied restaurant with partially open kitchen, so cross-ventilation had to be done and we sat full on the train. With a small menu, unfortunately not everything went smoothly in the service.

I'm totally annoyed that this is the second time I've ordered food from you, I've been waiting for an hour and a half and then suddenly I get the information that you've canceled your order from Lieferando. This time it was so bad that Lieferando called me and asked if I had canceled the meal because the driver was at your restaurant and you said I had canceled the order over the phone - which is complete nonsense . Honestly, that doesn't work at all. If you accept orders via Lieferando, then deliver them and don't make up any stupid excuses. That's totally annoying. What do you think of spreading such disgusting lies about me? The claim that I insult your employees and make spam calls is a complete outrage! I don't know your employees at all! Do you seriously think anyone believes this nonsense? It's unbelievable how low you sink to spread such made-up stories. Be ashamed of lying so shamelessly and distorting reality like this! “Your behavior and disrespectful treatment of an angry customer based on a negative review is completely unprofessional and unacceptable.”

Very good pizza. In summer I recommend the courtyard. Or you can order pizza to take away and sit on the Trave.

Delicious food, but a very long wait. Drinks were forgotten despite reminders. Unfortunately, the service staff didn't try to score points with friendliness. Conclusion - I would come again, but only with a lot of time and maybe during the week.

Very cozy restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food at reasonable prices. We ate here twice on a city trip to Lübeck because we liked it so much on the first evening. Both the interior and the terrace in the courtyard offer comfortable seating. The food (pizza) is great if you don't mind the fact that there are dark spots on the bottom. We were pleasantly surprised that you can get delicious food at such a great location at such a reasonable price! The only shame is that there is no changing facility.

The food was very, very tasty and of good quality. We managed bruschetta and a whole pizza per person and were pretty full afterwards, but didn't have the unpleasant feeling of fullness, as is often the case with greasy foods or cheap ingredients. The service was quick and friendly. In my opinion, very good value for money!

The pizza was quite thin and soft in the middle, the closer I got to the edge the better it got. I thought it was delicious but it didn't blow me away. My dessert was really tasty and the drinks were tasty too.

It was okay, but for the price the pizza wasn't great and the tiramisu wasn't really a tiramisu... in a glass some kind of extremely sweet thick cream cheese or very firm mascarpone and then a few ladyfingers. Didn't inspire us and really picked us up.

The ambience in the Portofino restaurant was extremely stylish and inviting. The food was consistently excellent – ​​from the starters to the desserts we ordered, every dish was a delight. A very inconspicuous entrance with just 2 tables in front of the door, then inside there is a large room and further through a beautiful backyard with some comfortable seating.

We ate delicious pizza here and made ourselves comfortable in the beer garden. The beer garden is cozy and rustic. Unfortunately, the chairs and tables wobbled quite a bit on the stone pavement, maybe you can find a solution for that. You don't notice any of the hustle and bustle or noise. Perfect for switching off and breathing deeply. Smoking is not permitted in the courtyard. The pizza was very good, the dough was light, airy and crispy from the wood-fired oven. There is a star deduction for the focaccia. It was definitely pizza bread. A very tasty pizza bread, but not the fluffy, soft focaccia that smells of herbs and olive oil that you look forward to when you order. The service was very good and just the right amount of attentive and reserved. Overall, we were satisfied and would come back for your pizza at any time.

Good Neapolitan pizza. Sauce very tasty. Dough is delicious, but could be more intense. The pizza with buffalo mozzarella is very sparsely topped, there can be more cheese on it. The courtyard is very beautiful. Hardly any waiting time. Unfortunately we didn't really like the lemonade. Overall, it is a recommendation and definitely an enrichment for Lübeck.

We got a table in the courtyard. It's super protected and highly recommended, especially on hot days. The waitresses were all very nice, quick and courteous. And our dishes also tasted very good. We'll definitely come back again.

We went there on our last day of vacation because of the positive reviews. The food was really very good. We sat in the backyard, which is beautiful but unfortunately also very cramped. The service was a long time coming even though no one was sitting in the restaurant and there were only two other tables occupied outside. Nevertheless, we would come back and eat with you at any time.

Unfortunately the pasta was prepared with spinach and Gorgonzola, without Gorgonzola. This made the pasta taste like pasta and cream (I had to throw it away). The prosciutto e funghi pizza was good. The FOCACCIA FORMAGGI was also rather tasteless, but with the aiolo dip it was ok. The service was very nice.

In their system it showed that we didn’t have a reservation even though it was showing on our end and it was confirmed that morning. They then said it was their fault but they could not accommodate our original outdoor reservation which was very upsetting bc it was for 6 guests of mine who were from out of town. Poor experience and still had to pay extra for outdoor seating even though we never sat outside in the end

The map is a bit confusing. But the food was ok. Unfortunately, there is only one toilet for everyone in the really large restaurant. Price performance Well...

Yesterday we ordered 3 pizzas to take away which were supposed to be ready after 20 minutes. After 25 minutes we wanted to pick up the order, but they had obviously forgotten it. We were left at the counter with no further information, no explanation, and certainly no apology. The pizzas were finally ready at some point and we were looking forward to delicious food. What awaited us was an outrage. Three carelessly slapped together "pizzas" that were so soggy from all the fat and cheap cheese that when you took out a piece, the entire base, except for the thick edge, bent down and the entire topping ended up back in the box. The Tonno pizza was the worst, it smelled like the cheapest tuna that had probably been dumped onto the pizza base along with the oil. It was a bit disgusting what was being served to you for so much money. And this is supposed to be the best pizza in Lübeck???? Fortunately, there are alternatives that are much cheaper and better. My recommendation: give this store a wide berth, it is absolutely not worth the money.

Sehr sehr laut, zwei Tische stehen so eng im Durchgang, dass es förmlich frech ist dort Gäste zu platzieren… wir wurden aber dort hingesetzt. alle 20 Sekunden gehen da Leute lang, Gäste und Personal, und berühren den sitzenden Gast dabei, weil es einfach zu eng ist. Ich hatte nicht nur verschiedenste Klamotten über meinem Tisch, sondern auch den Duft verschiedenster Körpergerüche in der Nase. Geht gar nicht, zudem ist es dort u unangenehm laut - Gemütlich ist da gar nix.

Die Pizzeria Portofino bietet einen ansprechenden Außenbereich im Hinterhof. Der Service ist hervorragend, alle Angestellten sind sehr freundlich, dem Gast zugewandt und sehr aufmerksam. Man muss auf die Bestellungen nicht zu lange warten. Die Pizza schmeckt gut, ist aber geschmacklich noch zu toppen.

Very spontaneously we asked for a table for two people on a Thursday evening. No problem, we got a table in the beautiful courtyard. The staff was super friendly and the pizza was just how we like it. Crispy dough and a delicious, fresh topping on a not-too-thick layer of cheese, all from the stone oven of course. There are some interesting pizza combinations on the menu that are new to us - it's a shame that we don't live in Lübeck. We would like to come more often.

Unfortunately, if you want to sit outside you sit on the street. Great food, the waitress should ask more often, more service would be nice.
