The Gnomenkeller has remained a good address. Roast beef with remoulade sauce, fried potatoes and salad... very tasty. Roast potatoes are not an easy business; can be too flimsy, too greasy, too anything else. In the gnome cellar they were perfect, as was everything. The employees were competent, friendly and courteous.

I love the atmosphere here, we've been here a few times and it's becoming a regular part of our travels when we come to these parts. All through fantastic food, sweet and friendly staff. It is easy to book a table per Mail, there is parking behind the restaurant, and if it is busy, there are other options nearby, and the staff will be happy to help. It is always clean and tidy and has a wonderful atmosphere. Worth a visit!

1 hour waiting time for the food. The food was not served as ordered, the meat was not cooked through and had an extra round in the kitchen and was so tough that it could not be eaten. the charcoal potatoes were half cold and had a bad taste. got no apology or compensation for the tough meat and half cold food.. All in all a bad experience for the whole family.

We have stopped here to eat steak on previous trips since the 80s. In recent years we have become more and more disappointed. The meat was only mediocre and the side dishes were rather poor: soggy fries, floury fried potatoes, cold roasted bread and salad were not included with the meal. The prices are absolutely excessive. A log house can do that a thousand times better. We won't be coming back.

The food was very good. My baked potato had a bit of a lack of sauce. My wife's carpaccio was delicious and the meat was medium rare. Unfortunately, the steak sauce was ready-made ketchup spiced up with spices. The service was perfect from start to finish. The ambience was very nice. We'd love to come back

Unfortunately that was nothing. As soon as we came in we were shouted at that we should wait outside. You just have to be patient were the words. 7 minutes later someone came and showed us to our table. It was so loud that we couldn't have a conversation at all. After a quarter of an hour no drinks had been taken so we left again. It wasn't the first visit. The food was good last time. I don't expect everyone to be in a good mood all the time, but that kind of behavior isn't even possible at Uschi's station grill.

Traditional Flensburg restaurant. The former cellar of the former town hall tells Flensburg stories also from Schleswig Holstein and Denmark. The food is great and the lunch menu can't be beaten in terms of price/performance.

Decent ribeye, however I've had ones that were more tender and flavorful elsewhere. Good source béarnaise and side dishes. Professional staff and top service.

A very nice restaurant in a basement in a centuries-old building in the middle of Flensburg.

The porterhouse is located in the basement with the vaulted ceilings you would find in a wine cellar. The atmosphere is accordingly rustic and cozy. The service was really great and the ambience was very fitting with a historical flair. Food was delicious and the menu had a nice selection. 🥩🥗🍖🍽️

The ambience is really nice and the food is really tasty. There is a really good selection of food and drinks, there is something for everyone. It is also practical that there is a dedicated parking space, even though the store is in the city center, from which you can enter through a separate entrance. If you want to eat a very good steak, you should try this place!

The quality and taste of the food was good. But waiting over an hour in a virtually empty restaurant was not appropriate. The ambience was also nice, but the service was subpar. Despite forgotten or incomplete dishes, there were pat reactions from the waiter and no trace of insight or apology. Even if there are process/organizational problems, these should not be left out on the guest. Was the first and last time in this restaurant.

Service below all cannon, unfriendly and absolutely not professional. Although the errors or shortcomings were on the part of the service or the kitchen, the service reacted rudely and felt personally attacked. We waited in vain for an apology for missing food, incorrect implementation of the order and more, and there was no compensation in the form of dessert or something similar. All in all, the group's mood was ruined and that shouldn't be the case after a visit to a restaurant. Conclusion: Never again and not recommended!

Unfortunately the price has no relation to the quality of the meat! Service was very nice, a great salad bar but the meat was lukewarm, tough and too fatty. Unfortunately, a total of around 141 euros for 2 people is simply too much!

There were 6 of us. Starter, main course and dessert - the whole thing was tight I think under €400 is reasonable. Price performance fits. And the performance was great!!! It was cooked perfectly to the desired doneness and came to the table exactly as requested. The Wiener Schnitzel was and I quote the little one: the best schnitzel she has ever eaten. The fillet was butter tender and every special request was fulfilled without any complaints. We are happy and satisfied and above all full when we go home ❤️ The ice cream selection is also very good and doesn't just consist of chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. Even the Toni could be chosen with other types of ice cream. Thank you!

I ordered the gourmet pot with small beef steaks and fried potatoes in Bernaise sauce. First of all, the fried potatoes were covered with the Bernaisr sauce, so that the fried potatoes were mushy. The Bernaise sauce could have been served in a separate bowl. Then I wanted the small beef steaks to be medium rare, which wasn't the case. Some of the pieces were well done or medium rare, which was very disappointing. The price-performance ratio is unacceptable. What was positive was the ambience and the service. If the food had been good, I would have liked to come back.

Pepper sauce only tasted like alcohol. Everything has become loveless and styleless...it used to be better...

We were treated very warmly and the service was 110%. My fillet was on point ......Thanks to Mario and also the kitchen ..I'd be happy to do it again! By the way, we were there with around 12 people and celebrated a birthday.

A really nice restaurant, but the food and service do not live up to the room. It was very small portions and in addition the bread was forgotten!!! Serving and food certainly did not live up to expectations, sour show.

Celebrated a good friend's birthday there yesterday. As a starter I had a beef carpaccio, highly recommended, it was extremely tasty. The main course was the Tip Porterhouse Steak with potatoes, pan-fried vegetables and Bernaisè sauce. Also very tasty. All in all, a successful evening in a lovely atmosphere. We will come back

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio no longer fits at all. The garlic baguette is really very small and the quality of the meat is not optimal for a steakhouse. Unfortunately the beer wasn't to our taste either. We were there and couldn't understand our own words as a large Danish company also came into the room. This was excessively loud and inconsiderate of the other guests. Unfortunately, several attempts by the service to have the noise contained were unsuccessful. "There's nothing we can do..." That was the last time for us for now. Too bad, negative development.

The meatloaf was too peppery and the turkey steak was tough The service was hardworking and hardworking. There was no goodwill like coffee or a glass of wine or a quick drink to make up for it. Ok ställe. Vi tog var sin wienerschnitzel. Men inget märkvärdigt. Lite för dyrt dessutom. Det verkar som om de försöker att få restaurangen att se ut, flera år gammalt med sina valv. Men det är bara fejk, ser bara löjligt ut…

Helt ok mat. Treg betjening. Tar for lang tid å få det man har bestilt, enten det er mat eller drikke.

God schnitzel. Venlig betjening. OK priser.

Meget hyggeligt sted med dejlig atmosfære. God mad og dygtig betjening. Kunne ikke få plads ved første forsøg, men næste dag var der plads, så måske en god idé at bestille plads, selvom det er et rimeligt stort sted.

Das Carpaccio war insgesamt gut zubereitet, es fehlten jedoch komplett jegliche Gewürze. Kann man natürlich auch selbst nachholen, wenn denn selbige nicht erst erfragen müsste. Das Bier war warm, der degustierte nur halb voll, Der Service glich dem in einem Imbiss. Bis auf „Bestellung aufnehmen“ und irgendwann einmal „Bezahlen“ gab es keinerlei Kontakt. War mal deutlich besser, schade.

Atmosfæren er rigtig fin og de ansatte er meget søde. Desværre er maden under forventning. Stort set alt det kød, vi bestilte, blev ikke tilberedt korrekt. Brødet var som gummi - næsten, som om det havde ligget ude siden dagen forinden og ristet lige inden servering. Vores ribeye-bøffer var næsten smagsløse og "steak-saucen" smagte af karryketchup. Stedet har masser af gode anmeldelser, så måske vi har været uheldige. Vi var også en større flok med børn, og selvom børnene larmede, var personalet meget overbærende. Det skal de have ros for.

I have been coming in Gnomenkeller for more than 40 years and of course the place has changed over the years but it has always been an excellent experience. Lately I was surprised over the affordable price but unfortunately the steak size and quality has been affected. It is still ok, but not excellent anymore.

Vi havde booket bord via telefon, 4 dage inden vores ankomst til 2 personer. Vi ankommer ca 10minutter før vores booking, hvor vi bliver mødt af en tjener. Jeg angiver navnet bookingen er lavet under, men vores booking står ikke anført nogle steder, der var absolut ingen hjælp eller forståelse, at finde hos tjeneren, trods fremvisning af opkald historik, hvor dato og tid for booking var sket. Vi fik blot en besked om, at de ikke havde vores booking, og der var intet ledigt. Så vi måtte gå igen. Virkelig dårlig stil, når jeg føler fejlen ligger hos restauranten. Fejl kan ske, det var bare en rigtig dårlig håndtering af den.

Leider mussten wir im Raucherbereich warten, da unser Tisch 10 min.vorher noch besetzt war. 5 Minuten nach unserer reservierten Zeit wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass unser Tisch eingedeckt wird und wir uns gleich setzen könnten. Das Essen war lecker, mehr aber auch nicht.

On a business trip to Flensburg, I was looking for a place that was open during the afternoon (as I like to dine early). Since I'm very picky about the food, I chose a grill/steakhouse to avoid complications. Porterhouse has an excellent choice if different meat, and the staff is very attentive. I can recommend the Porterhouse Steak with vegetables, delicious. The location is ok, I'm just not a fan of underground establishments (personal preference). During two nights dinner, I went there twice and don't regret it!

Tolles Ambiente, zuvorkommender und aufmerksamer Service, Essen kam schnell und war ausgesprochen gut. Hinzu kommt das schöne Kellergewölbe, was man so nicht alle Tage in anderen Restaurants vorfindet. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
