Really nice rooms with rustic decor, and the atmosphere here was good. The food was also very good, although the service was a bit slow, just as we had to ask for certain things several times before they succeeded. However, it must be said that it was really busy this evening.

Nice restaurant, price-performance ratio is a bit too high, the food was good and tasty. The beef steak was fried as ordered, it was buttery tender and tasted great. Overall a good 4 out of 5 stars. What was really annoying was the layer of dust on the “light balls” that are on the tables.

Unfortunately the food wasn't really warm. Some of the fried potatoes were still raw. Service too little for the number of seats, so rarely at the table.

OK. Food and ambience are just a matter of taste, nice service, clean toilets.

Nothing to call home about, I don't understand the good reviews. You could just as well cut the food out of the bag yourself. I will definitely not be back

Exquisite dinner. We arrived without a reservation, but were nevertheless assigned a cozy corner. The food was well prepared and especially the meat was cooked to perfection. Probably the best piece of meat I've had in a long time. Would love to come again - both for the food and the atmosphere.

Fantastic cozy place. Totally packed with guests, must be because the food is fantastic and the portions are huge. We had booked a table for 7, unfortunately they had thrown our reservation away, but they managed to find a table for us anyway, incredible because there were no other tables available in the whole spacious restaurant. The meat is so tender that a toothless person could eat here😉

But at the expensive end, the price compared to what you get

Were there again today after a long time. Food was good for 6 people and the steaks were grilled to perfection. We were a little disappointed with the Mafiosi. It was heaped with green olives and garlic and hot peppers were spared. Actually, everything was just warmed briefly in olive oil. That has nothing in common with Mafiosi or Siziliana. But the steaks were...as I said...on point. Next time I'd rather have pepper steak.

We only give 4 stars because the food did not quite live up to the expectations we had based on recommendations from various acquaintances. The food tasted fine and was well prepared, but it was no better than what we ourselves manage to create in the kitchen. The staff were friendly and both drinks and food came quickly. There was good communication. The prices are affordable. There is a good atmosphere in the restaurant.

Vi spiste middag her en aften i november. Virkelig hyggelig gammel restaurant. Vi bestite hhv. kalkunschnitzel med pommes og wienerschnitzel med bratkartoffeln. Maden kom hurtigt. Til kalkunen var der friterede løg, og til wienerschnitzelen var der sauce hollandaise. Godt nok noget specielt, og hollandaise til wienerschnitzel, - det ødelægger en traditionel ret. Til wienerschnitzelen var der salatbuffet, men ikke til kalkunen. Portionerne var store, og det smagte udmærket. Temmelig uinspirerende anretning, lidt cafeteria-agtigt. Prismæssigt lidt i den dyre ende. Restauranten var næsten fuld, så det må være populært.

Unfortunately I've been there far too rarely, but the food is always an experience. The ambience is second to none. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The three of us went there for a business lunch and we didn't regret it. The drinks came quickly, the menu offers something suitable for everyone, both the turkey steak and the steaks were an absolute delight. When the food was on the table, no one talked anymore, everyone just enjoyed it. Every request was taken into account flawlessly. I'd better not start with the dessert... The cherry sundae was better than at many well-known Italian ice cream parlors, the sorbet seemed to come from heaven... I can hardly wait to come here again. Guys, treat yourself to something good and try it for yourself. You can hardly eat as well in a relaxed manner as here.

Vi blev placeret i et rum ved siden af, og dette var lyst og ret uinspirerende i forhold til det som vi havde set på billederne, og også havde bestilt ud fra. Maden var også ret uinspirerende, kold sauce og steak.. Personalet var dog meget søde

Her går man aldrig galt i byen hvis man vil have et godt stykke kød, en snitzel eller hvis man har børn med. Vi elsker at komme her med vores 2 børn på 6 & 9år da børn er meget velkommen og servicen er venlig

Cozy place. Always good German food on the menu - a place we like to visit when the trip goes past Flensburg. Also worth a detour if you are in southern Denmark.

The beef was wonderful. I ordered "blue" and received blue. They have escargot, which is surprising as we're so far north in Germany. This basement restaurant is a comfortable little place, however... A salad buffet. Don't judge a book by its cover. For a restaurant with a buffet, they have good food. I choked on my drink, and was immediately served a water. That should tell you how the staff are like. It almost feels overstaffed? Accommodation was frighteningly fast. (The menu is a little flashy, even for my taste. Describing the different cuts of beef word-for-word as stated on it's respective Wikipedia page is a bit... Distasteful?)

The food was, as always, excellent. We just won't go out to eat on a Saturday evening anymore. That's just too loud. Which unfortunately affects the ambience and service.

Unfortunately there was no small side salad with the steak. If you wanted a salad with your steak you had to order one for over 9 euros. I was then able to put this together myself at the salad buffet!

We were in the Gnomenkeller today and were totally thrilled. We felt really comfortable in this rustic vault. The service was great and the food was just great. We can totally recommend it.

Hier wird man durchgeschleust und so schnell wie möglich abserviert. Wir wollten einen gemütlichen Abend verbringen und hatten als Aperitif Prosecco bestellt. Dann hätten wir gerne den Salat vom Buffet als Vorspeise gegessen. Ehe wir es uns versahen, stand vor Salat und zum Prosecco bereits der Hauptgang auf dem Tisch. Ein absolutes No Go!. Das Kalbsschnitzel war zudem nicht gewürzt.

Das Personel lebt Service, sehr freundlich, sie gehen auf Wünsche problenlos ein. Wir haben abends mit 7 Personen gegessen. Alle waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Essen. Es ist ein wirklich nettes Ambiente im historischen Keller. Wir kommen gerne wieder, da wir eine gleich gute Erfahrung bereits Anfang des Jahres gemacht haben.

The Gnomenkeller has remained a good address. Roast beef with remoulade sauce, fried potatoes and salad... very tasty. Roast potatoes are not an easy business; can be too flimsy, too greasy, too anything else. In the gnome cellar they were perfect, as was everything. The employees were competent, friendly and courteous.

Ikke noget at råbe hurra for. Fik wienerschnitzel, hvor der var dobbelt så meget panering, som selve kød. Ca. 3 mm kød... Championsovs der ikke var smagt til. Appelsin og citron skive til wienerschnitzel. Hvad skal appelsinen? Ingen dip til pomfritter.

I love the atmosphere here, we've been here a few times and it's becoming a regular part of our travels when we come to these parts. All through fantastic food, sweet and friendly staff. It is easy to book a table per Mail, there is parking behind the restaurant, and if it is busy, there are other options nearby, and the staff will be happy to help. It is always clean and tidy and has a wonderful atmosphere. Worth a visit!

1 hour waiting time for the food. The food was not served as ordered, the meat was not cooked through and had an extra round in the kitchen and was so tough that it could not be eaten. the charcoal potatoes were half cold and had a bad taste. got no apology or compensation for the tough meat and half cold food.. All in all a bad experience for the whole family.

We have stopped here to eat steak on previous trips since the 80s. In recent years we have become more and more disappointed. The meat was only mediocre and the side dishes were rather poor: soggy fries, floury fried potatoes, cold roasted bread and salad were not included with the meal. The prices are absolutely excessive. A log house can do that a thousand times better. We won't be coming back.

The food was very good. My baked potato had a bit of a lack of sauce. My wife's carpaccio was delicious and the meat was medium rare. Unfortunately that was nothing. As soon as we came in we were shouted at that we should wait outside. You just have to be patient were the words. 7 minutes later someone came and showed us to our table. It was so loud that we couldn't have a conversation at all. After a quarter of an hour no drinks had been taken so we left again. It wasn't the first visit. The food was good last time. I don't expect everyone to be in a good mood all the time, but that kind of behavior isn't even possible at Uschi's station grill.

Traditional Flensburg restaurant. The former cellar of the former town hall tells Flensburg stories also from Schleswig Holstein and Denmark. The food is great and the lunch menu can't be beaten in terms of price/performance.

Decent ribeye, however I've had ones that were more tender and flavorful elsewhere. Good source béarnaise and side dishes. Professional staff and top service.

En virkelig fin restaurant i en kjeller i en meget gammel bygård,vi spiste snitchel som hovedrett men litt forskjellige tilbehør og type, og creme brulee og en iskrem med krem og eggelikør,dette var gode smaker,men prisklasse i øvre prisklasse.

The porterhouse is located in the basement with the vaulted ceilings you would find in a wine cellar. The atmosphere is accordingly rustic and cozy. The service was really great and the ambience was very fitting with a historical flair. Food was delicious and the menu had a nice selection. 🥩🥗🍖🍽️

The ambience is really nice and the food is really tasty. There is a really good selection of food and drinks, there is something for everyone. It is also practical that there is a dedicated parking space, even though the store is in the city center, from which you can enter through a separate entrance. If you want to eat a very good steak, you should try this place!

The quality and taste of the food was good. But waiting over an hour in a virtually empty restaurant was not appropriate. The ambience was also nice, but the service was subpar. Despite forgotten or incomplete dishes, there were pat reactions from the waiter and no trace of insight or apology. Even if there are process/organizational problems, these should not be left out on the guest. Was the first and last time in this restaurant.

Service below all cannon, unfriendly and absolutely not professional. Although the errors or shortcomings were on the part of the service or the kitchen, the service reacted rudely and felt personally attacked. We waited in vain for an apology for missing food, incorrect implementation of the order and more, and there was no compensation in the form of dessert or something similar. All in all, the group's mood was ruined and that shouldn't be the case after a visit to a restaurant. Conclusion: Never again and not recommended!

Unfortunately the price has no relation to the quality of the meat! Service was very nice, a great salad bar but the meat was lukewarm, tough and too fatty. Unfortunately, a total of around 141 euros for 2 people is simply too much!

There were 6 of us. Starter, main course and dessert - the whole thing was tight I think under €400 is reasonable. Price performance fits. And the performance was great!!! It was cooked perfectly to the desired doneness and came to the table exactly as requested. The Wiener Schnitzel was and I quote the little one: the best schnitzel she has ever eaten. The fillet was butter tender and every special request was fulfilled without any complaints. We are happy and satisfied and above all full when we go home ❤️ The ice cream selection is also very good and doesn't just consist of chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. Even the Toni could be chosen with other types of ice cream. Thank you!

I ordered the gourmet pot with small beef steaks and fried potatoes in Bernaise sauce. First of all, the fried potatoes were covered with the Bernaisr sauce, so that the fried potatoes were mushy. The Bernaise sauce could have been served in a separate bowl. Then I wanted the small beef steaks to be medium rare, which wasn't the case. Some of the pieces were well done or medium rare, which was very disappointing. The price-performance ratio is unacceptable. What was positive was the ambience and the service. If the food had been good, I would have liked to come back.

Pepper sauce only tasted like alcohol. Everything has become loveless and styleless...it used to be better...
