Rarely have I eaten such delicious food.

It was our first time here. The burgers with the cheese sauce were fantastic... simply delicious. The service was incredibly friendly! We'll be back!!!

However, I unfortunately have to mention that I had to wait an hour for my food again today. This has happened twice before, which was perhaps due to the high volume of customers. Today the restaurant was barely occupied, and yet we still had to wait an hour. We did get complimentary drinks, which was very kind, but this could be improved, as an hour is quite a long time.

I found the food to be completely average. Nothing special, it was tasty but not amazing. The prices aren't exactly cheap either. We went because of the TikTok hype, and in my opinion, the trip all the way to Wilhelmsburg wasn't worth it. But if you're in the area anyway, it's worth a try.

The quality of the ingredients is particularly noteworthy. Everything tastes fresh and high-quality, and you can taste it in every bite. The price is also absolutely fair – you really get quality that's worth the money. For me, Port Island isn't just a burger joint, but a place you'll want to return to. Whether it's for a quick dinner, a get-together with friends, or just a really good burger – I feel welcome here every time. Highly recommended! I recently ate at this restaurant and was absolutely thrilled! I had a cheeseburger with fries and mayo, along with homemade lemonade. The burger was super juicy and perfectly seasoned, the fries crispy and golden—just as they should be. I especially enjoyed the fresh, homemade lemonade, which went perfectly with the meal. I ordered from this restaurant online and was unfortunately not satisfied with the taste of the food. What really impressed me, however, was that the restaurant owner took my complaint very seriously, apologized personally, and brought me a new, freshly prepared meal and a free drink. Extremely respectful and professional customer service! Thank you for the quick and accommodating solution – I will definitely order again and can only recommend the restaurant.

Nice ambiance and some of the dishes are really good. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, after a change of ownership, the burgers have deteriorated significantly in taste and are no longer worth a visit. Unfortunately, they also no longer serve cocktails or other good drinks. Furthermore, the staff on my last visit were very unprofessional (if not amateurish). This, unfortunately, has made a restaurant that was once very strong no longer worth a visit.

Recommended on social media as an insider tip in Hamburg, so we went with four people. We received a very friendly welcome. The place looks fun inside, everything dark but stylish. Thankfully it's summer, and we found a seat outside, as dogs aren't allowed inside. Outside... well, the area didn't really appeal to me. Lots of people, too close to the street, loud... The order came... everything looked good. It tasted really great, too. But insider tip... well, maybe I'm just too old 😁 And... the drinks are super delicious. We were there, it was good, we know it now.

Very friendly service. Our food arrived after about 20 minutes. The food was delicious and hot. Only the fried chicken, which was also very tasty, could have been a bit warmer. Our iced teas and lemonades were really good. We had cheesepool burgers, chicken wings, fried chicken, and sweet potato fries with various sauces: BBQ sauce, truffle mayo, and garlic parmesan mayo. Everything was really delicious and highly recommended.

This was our first time here, and we were with six people. Overall, it was a pretty good impression. The food was okay. I had a bacon burger with French fries and garlic parm fried chicken. The burger was quite good. Unfortunately, the French fries were rather poor. Very dry, and they seem to be using very cheap ingredients. The garlic chicken was good. Juicy, but there was a bit too much cheese for my taste. It diminished the flavor of the chicken too much. What is definitely delicious are the sauces. There's a lot to choose from here, and we enjoyed most of them. The service was very nice, but everything took a really long time. I even got the menu for ordering myself. There's a lot of room for improvement there. There's not much to say about the ambiance. It's geared more towards younger people, and I consider it standard. All in all, the Port Island was OK. The food could be improved, but it was sufficient for a one-time dining experience. What I don't like at all is that everything there is halal. Since it's known to be animal cruelty, I personally find it absolutely unacceptable. But I didn't factor that into my rating.

The cheese pool burger literally jumped out at me, fantastic. It was gobbled up in two minutes. The fries are also great, but you don't need to order mayo—the cheese sauce is enough for dipping. The staff was friendly. It was quiet at 3:30 on a Monday afternoon, and the wait for food was only the length of a cigarette.

The location is stylishly modern, clean, and cozy at the same time – a perfect ambiance for burger fans. Super delicious! We tried the entire menu and everything was really good! The Pool Burger and the Garlic Parm Fried Chicken were amazing, and the prawn salad was a real taste sensation. For those who like it spicier, the Red Chicken Burger is a must! Dessert was also a dream, so all around simply delicious! And the best part: the prices are really fair compared to other places. And everything was just super fresh and made with love. And finally, the French toast – guys, that was the perfect ending. Sweet, soft, slightly crispy on the outside… simply a dream. I'll definitely be back – you don't find something like that very often!

Unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience – disappointing both in terms of food and health. Four of us ate at Port Island yesterday. The menu selection sounded promising, and we opted for three different versions of fried chicken for starters. For main courses, we had the Cheesepool Burger, Chili Cheese, and Cheesy Bacon. The food tasted okay, but unfortunately, all of us struggled with nausea and stomach aches afterward – which is especially worrying with poultry. The night was therefore anything but pleasant. The service was friendly, but basic necessities were missing: no napkins, no additional cutlery, or small plates for the appetizers, and the dips we ordered didn't arrive with the dishes they were supposed to be with. It's a shame, we were looking forward to a pleasant evening, but were unfortunately disappointed – both in the process and the aftermath.

The burger was quite good, but not my absolute favorite ☺️ The fries were very well done, cut into spoon shapes, with a bit of green for color. 👍 A bit more crispiness on the surface would have been nice. We ordered from Port Island for the first time today and are absolutely thrilled. The burgers were amazing, super juicy and simply delicious. I usually have trouble eating burgers because every time you bite into them, everything falls out the bottom. But they've done a really great job here. The burger is in a little pocket like you get with a kebab. Nothing falls out. The fries are also incredibly tasty and juicy. They look homemade, not like "Mac Donalds fries." I even wrote a review on Lieferando, but since there's apparently limited space, unfortunately only half of them fit in. So if you want burgers and the like, order from Port Island. We'll go to the restaurant sometime; it's always interesting to see where it comes from. We're already looking forward to our visit. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Port Island in Wilhelmsburg – burgers with an oriental twist At first glance, Port Island looks more like a cozy bar where you can chill out with a drink on the outdoor terrace. But it also has a lot to offer in terms of cuisine. We opted for burgers – the Chili Cheeseburger for €11 and the BBQ Bacon Burger for €11.5, plus fries (€4) and Fritz Kola (€3.5). The beef burger patty was excellently grilled and tasted great. The spices gave it a more oriental touch, which was unusual but very tasty. The sauces were used a little more sparingly, which brought out the flavor of the patty well. The fries were good, but not hot when they were served. The service was rather leisurely, but this went well with the overall impression in this atmosphere. Conclusion: Despite minor weaknesses in the fries and the service – we will definitely be back!

The taste of the burgers was okay, but they lacked that certain something that made them stand out from the crowd. In addition, the consistency left a lot to be desired - the bun seemed soggy and unappealing. The service was extremely friendly, but not particularly attentive. Clearing away took place with a significant delay, and both napkins and cutlery were added late. Overall, the visit leaves a mixed impression: solid to good, but with clearly visible potential for improvement.

The burger at Cheesepool tasted delicious. The service was friendly, but unfortunately alone and therefore visibly overwhelmed, which led to longer waiting times. It was also quite cold inside, which made the stay a bit uncomfortable. With better organization and a more pleasant room climate, the visit would have been a complete success.
