I went to Port Island and I'm absolutely thrilled! 😍 The burger was super delicious and fresh – and the best part: they even made me a gluten-free burger! 🫶 You rarely find service like this. The team was super friendly and the food came quickly. I highly recommend it! 💯🍔

An all-around fantastic experience! The burger was simply sensational – I haven't had one this juicy, fresh, and perfectly balanced in a long time. The ambiance is also impressive: modern, cozy, and designed with great attention to detail. After the meal, I had an Americano, which was also top-notch in terms of taste. Bottom line: Port Island in Hamburg is absolutely recommended – everything here is just perfect, from the cuisine to the atmosphere!

I recently ate at this restaurant and was absolutely thrilled! I had a cheeseburger with fries and mayo, along with homemade lemonade. The burger was super juicy and perfectly seasoned, the fries crispy and golden—just as they should be. I especially enjoyed the fresh, homemade lemonade, which went perfectly with the meal. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I'll definitely be back!

I ordered from this restaurant online and was unfortunately not satisfied with the taste of the food. What really impressed me, however, was that the restaurant owner took my complaint very seriously, apologized personally, and brought me a new, freshly prepared meal and a free drink. Extremely respectful and professional customer service! Thank you for the quick and accommodating solution – I will definitely order again and can only recommend the restaurant.

Nice ambiance and some of the dishes are really good. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, after a change of ownership, the burgers have deteriorated significantly in taste and are no longer worth a visit. Unfortunately, they also no longer serve cocktails or other good drinks. Furthermore, the staff on my last visit were very unprofessional (if not amateurish). This, unfortunately, has made a restaurant that was once very strong no longer worth a visit.

Four of us went to PORT island for dinner on Sunday. It was very busy, but the service was still excellent. We were served quickly, and the drinks weren't long in coming. The food was definitely a 9 out of 10! We'll definitely be back!

Recommended on social media as an insider tip in Hamburg, so we went with four people. We received a very friendly welcome. The place looks fun inside, everything dark but stylish. Thankfully it's summer, and we found a seat outside, as dogs aren't allowed inside. Outside... well, the area didn't really appeal to me. Lots of people, too close to the street, loud... The order came... everything looked good. It tasted really great, too. But insider tip... well, maybe I'm just too old 😁 And... the drinks are super delicious. We were there, it was good, we know it now.

Very friendly service. Our food arrived after about 20 minutes. The food was delicious and hot. Only the fried chicken, which was also very tasty, could have been a bit warmer. Our iced teas and lemonades were really good. We had cheesepool burgers, chicken wings, fried chicken, and sweet potato fries with various sauces: BBQ sauce, truffle mayo, and garlic parmesan mayo. Everything was really delicious and highly recommended.

I always order the same crispy chicken from the store because the taste is unbeatable, so it's definitely based on the spicy crispy chicken that I recommend this store. The fries were also solid, and the sauce was good. Favorite: Chicken Rashville style

This was our first time here, and we were with six people. Overall, it was a pretty good impression. The food was okay. I had a bacon burger with French fries and garlic parm fried chicken. The burger was quite good. Unfortunately, the French fries were rather poor. Very dry, and they seem to be using very cheap ingredients. The garlic chicken was good. Juicy, but there was a bit too much cheese for my taste. It diminished the flavor of the chicken too much. What is definitely delicious are the sauces. There's a lot to choose from here, and we enjoyed most of them. The service was very nice, but everything took a really long time. I even got the menu for ordering myself. There's a lot of room for improvement there. There's not much to say about the ambiance. It's geared more towards younger people, and I consider it standard. All in all, the Port Island was OK. The food could be improved, but it was sufficient for a one-time dining experience. What I don't like at all is that everything there is halal. Since it's known to be animal cruelty, I personally find it absolutely unacceptable. But I didn't factor that into my rating.

The cheese pool burger literally jumped out at me, fantastic. It was gobbled up in two minutes. The fries are also great, but you don't need to order mayo—the cheese sauce is enough for dipping. The staff was friendly. It was quiet at 3:30 on a Monday afternoon, and the wait for food was only the length of a cigarette.

Super delicious! We tried the entire menu and everything was really good! The Pool Burger and the Garlic Parm Fried Chicken were amazing, and the prawn salad was a real taste sensation. For those who like it spicier, the Red Chicken Burger is a must! Dessert was also a dream, so all around simply delicious! And the best part: the prices are really fair compared to other places. I was at Port Island in Hamburg and I'm absolutely thrilled. And everything was just super fresh and made with love. And finally, the French toast – guys, that was the perfect ending. Sweet, soft, slightly crispy on the outside… simply a dream. I'll definitely be back – you don't find something like that very often!

The cheeseburger with the cheese pool was something truly amazing – a real explosion of flavor. If you like cheesy highlights, you'll definitely get your money's worth here: juicy, intense, and crammed with cheese. Funnily enough, we also ran into Abdelkader there again – a waiter we already knew from another restaurant. Super friendly, attentive, and always with a joke on his lips. Great guy! A truly successful stop on our tour – we'll definitely be back! 🍔🧀🔥

Unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience – disappointing both in terms of food and health. Four of us ate at Port Island yesterday. The menu selection sounded promising, and we opted for three different versions of fried chicken for starters. For main courses, we had the Cheesepool Burger, Chili Cheese, and Cheesy Bacon. The food tasted okay, but unfortunately, all of us struggled with nausea and stomach aches afterward – which is especially worrying with poultry. The night was therefore anything but pleasant. The service was friendly, but basic necessities were missing: no napkins, no additional cutlery, or small plates for the appetizers, and the dips we ordered didn't arrive with the dishes they were supposed to be with. It's a shame, we were looking forward to a pleasant evening, but were unfortunately disappointed – both in the process and the aftermath.

I've never been here before, but I'll change that, even though I live north of the Elbe. Super friendly service! Even though it was busy, it was fast and flexible, and with a nice atmosphere. We had burgers, onion rings, and fries. All very good and very reasonably priced. 6 stars would be justified.

The burger was quite good, but not my absolute favorite ☺️ The fries were very well done, cut into spoon shapes, with a bit of green for color. 👍 A bit more crispiness on the surface would have been nice. We ordered from Port Island for the first time today and are absolutely thrilled. The burgers were amazing, super juicy and simply delicious. I usually have trouble eating burgers because every time you bite into them, everything falls out the bottom. But they've done a really great job here. The burger is in a little pocket like you get with a kebab. Nothing falls out. The fries are also incredibly tasty and juicy. They look homemade, not like "Mac Donalds fries." I even wrote a review on Lieferando, but since there's apparently limited space, unfortunately only half of them fit in. So if you want burgers and the like, order from Port Island. We'll go to the restaurant sometime; it's always interesting to see where it comes from. We're already looking forward to our visit. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Port Island in Wilhelmsburg – burgers with an oriental twist At first glance, Port Island looks more like a cozy bar where you can chill out with a drink on the outdoor terrace. But it also has a lot to offer in terms of cuisine. We opted for burgers – the Chili Cheeseburger for €11 and the BBQ Bacon Burger for €11.5, plus fries (€4) and Fritz Kola (€3.5). The beef burger patty was excellently grilled and tasted great. The spices gave it a more oriental touch, which was unusual but very tasty. The sauces were used a little more sparingly, which brought out the flavor of the patty well. The fries were good, but not hot when they were served. The service was rather leisurely, but this went well with the overall impression in this atmosphere. Conclusion: Despite minor weaknesses in the fries and the service – we will definitely be back!

The ambience of the burger shop is modern and at the same time cozy, which invites you to linger. The taste of the burgers was okay, but they lacked that certain something that made them stand out from the crowd. In addition, the consistency left a lot to be desired - the bun seemed soggy and unappealing. The service was extremely friendly, but not particularly attentive. Clearing away took place with a significant delay, and both napkins and cutlery were added late. Overall, the visit leaves a mixed impression: solid to good, but with clearly visible potential for improvement.

The burger at Cheesepool tasted delicious. The service was friendly, but unfortunately alone and therefore visibly overwhelmed, which led to longer waiting times. It was also quite cold inside, which made the stay a bit uncomfortable. With better organization and a more pleasant room climate, the visit would have been a complete success.

I would like to give an honest review. I'm here quite often. The staff is just great. It's a real pleasure to know that people here treat each other well and create a great atmosphere. Today I was there again, this time with a visitor from Switzerland and the vegan burger really impressed us! My personal favorite remains the Sweet Onion Burger, which I prefer to order with a normal patty instead of the vegan patty. Plus the unbeatable combination of sweet potato fries and truffle mayo dip. I'm really not exaggerating, but every time I'm here it tastes even better than the last time. Port Island stands out noticeably from other burger shops, even though each shop and taste is of course individual. If you haven't been here yet, you should definitely do so. Thanks to the whole team for your effort! 🤍

I find it extremely sad that if you order citizens there is never the cheese sauce but if you go there you get that!!! Last week I wanted to place an order for €300 but when I saw that no cheese sauce was available, I ordered somewhere else. Just don't think it's correct!!!

After we have often had something delivered from Port Island and the burgers are by far the best burgers you can get here on the island, even when delivered, we had the pleasure of getting to know the shop in Live this evening and we were as expected, not disappointed. The location is spacious, but not too big and cozy and modern. The service was very good and very friendly, although there wasn't much going on. The food was really great. As already described, the burgers delivered are already great, but fresh from the kitchen they go up a notch. Simply very well balanced, fresh and juicy burgers. Every burger lover will agree. We were very pleased that the on-site menu was being expanded in a meaningful way, as not every dish is suitable for delivery if good quality is the top priority. For example, the Friedchicken selection (Garlic Parmesan Friedchicken can be seen in one picture). The taste was different and delicious. I haven't had such an awesome combination in a long time. Although I would have liked it to be a little more thorough (a matter of taste), I think I would just give a quick hint next time. All in all great and also absolutely within the price range. For a burger, fried chicken, fries + dip and a drink it ended up being 30 thalers. We'll definitely be back. Keep it up 👍👍👍

Unfortunately, the order was mixed up once, and the same thing happened at a table next to us, but that can happen. Nice ambience, not too loud and plenty of seating. I think it's a real shame that there is no good transport option to reach the store (no subway or S-Bahn line), but the store can't do anything about it.

The positive reviews speak for themselves and I agree. My highlight was the Pool Cheese Burger (a burger in two halves, "floating" in cheese sauce). Really tasty, juicy and a really filling portion. Also priced very fairly at €12.50. The sweet potato fries with chilli mayo and the homemade lotus shake were also very tasty. The French toast for dessert, however, was the winner. 12/10 I can't say anything more about it. Delicious, absolutely recommended! Unfortunately, unfortunately I'm not from Hamburg. Port Island in Wilhelmsburg is definitely on the agenda for the next visit. If you're in the mood for burgers and the like, go for it! 👍

I'll always eat there again, the music isn't too loud, the food is delicious, the drinks are good and it's super inexpensive! The only thing to complain about was that the floor was super sticky, with every step you stuck. Still, it was really good.
