Lovely staff, great phô, disappointing sushi

Unfortunately I have to give it one star, but it's only zero stars. Eating between beverage crates and garbage trucks. Food comes carelessly on the plate, not even a (!) lettuce leaf. 5 people behind the counter, no one brings the food, everyone looks around bored! For the price and this meager offering, I eat better and more comfortably in any Chinese or Vietnamese restaurant! A NO-GO!!!! An impudence. You normally pay half price for such a run-down snack!

Absolute recommendation I wasn't a sushi fan before but viet pho changed my mind 10/10! Simply delicious frame! The bowls are a big recommendation. All in all, the price/performance ratio is really very good! Food is prepared quickly and portions are reasonably sized! Always happy!

What I can really recommend here is the sushi. It's the best thing I've ever eaten in Oldenburg. And I've actually tried a lot of restaurants. The portions are generous. When it comes to the salmon, they really don't save money here and I find that really impressive considering the quality and the price. Really fantastic!

Not recommended! To take away I had No. 8: Sour spicy soup with duck and vegetables. Sour and spicy is right, although too spicy for my taste. But there was no sign of the duck anywhere (it probably ran away when it saw the broth it was supposed to dive into). I also “enjoyed” number 51: fried noodles with various fresh vegetables and tofu. The emphasis here is clearly on noodles; I didn't see any vegetables apart from a few carrot strips. The taste was actually acceptable, except for the tofu, which was poorly processed. Unfortunately I don't see any reason to go there again.

I will never eat there again, I came at least once a week but now it's over I have the number 52. Ordered and paid an extra 2 euros for the spicy sauce and got sweet and sour. I can't stand the taste but I only noticed it when I got home after a bite and tried to confront the person who prepared it for me, he said I hadn't ordered anything extra, it was too stupid for me, I left the food and would advise my friends not to eat there

Good Vietnamese. Delicious curries and friendly staff. There are better curries out there, but for the price it's all right and a clear recommendation!

I ate the red curry with tofu. Delicious! Well seasoned and okay in terms of quantity. Price wise too. Cold drinks are also sold there. I don't like the atmosphere that much, it's very restless in this market hall. But the food tastes good.

Unfortunately we weren't told beforehand that a huge horde of people had pre-ordered. Every now and then I went back and asked - "yes, it's currently being prepared...". After an hour I went back and asked for my money back. Thanks for nothing! Never again!

We regularly order takeaway here and all the dishes are always delicious and of consistently good quality. The promised pick-up times are always adhered to and the staff is very friendly. However, it was more rustic at the old location under the railway bridge.

Didn't like the food at all. I really like Asian food, but this is not a place I want to return to, I returned the dish after the first try. TomYam soup, from their menu, has only a common name with a delicious Thai soup, and no similarity in appearance or taste. She left there hungry.

This was one of the worst places that I have ever had dinner. I ordered noodles with beef and even though it came super fast it was sooo tasteless even the dogs wouldn't eat it. The noodles were cold , not cooked at all. The meat tasted like paper in your mouth. Price was decent but no worth it for what you get. Never going back there.

After a recommendation, I tried Viêt Phô yesterday and was unfortunately massively disappointed with the food. I had the fried rice with chicken fillet. Unfortunately, the rice was extremely dry and had little to no seasoning. Unfortunately the chicken fillet was tough. I couldn't enjoy the food and put an almost full plate in the storage container. A pity! The service person who took the order was friendly, but in principle there is no traditional service in the CORE market hall/food court like in the restaurant. The cleanliness of the tables and the full clearing containers don't make a good impression, so I unfortunately downgrade the service rating significantly. There is great potential for improvement here. The ambience in CORE is, apart from the problems with cleanliness, fundamentally modern and has an industrial charm.

Overall mixed. It's obvious which direction the food is going. People usually come here for fried noodles, crispy duck and sushi. I had crispy duck fried flat rice noodles. There was also a crunchy roll with chicken, spring rolls and fried flat rice noodles with beef at the table. Everything tasted very good. It was also served very nicely. The food is “delivered” to your table. However, you have to put it away yourself afterwards!? But this is more due to the core in general and not to the individual restaurant. The background noise may also play a role. We were there on Sunday afternoon. Luckily it was quiet there. The best way to reach Viêt Phô is via 91er Straße (if you come by car).

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a sushi platter for myself and my friends (4 people) as well as pasta dishes with baked duck and chicken and all I can say is WOW! The sushi platter was a true masterpiece! Each roll was carefully prepared, the fresh ingredients and artful presentation were impressive. The variety of sushi rolls, sashimi and nigiri offered something for every taste. Particularly noteworthy are the delicate tuna and salmon sashimi, which melted in your mouth. The rice was perfectly seasoned and the side dishes like ginger and wasabi completed the experience perfectly. The sushi platter was completely sufficient for us, so we had the other dishes packed up to take away. Overall, it was a culinary experience in a class of its own. The service was first class and the quality of the food was unparalleled. Absolutely recommended for every sushi lover. 5 stars – I’ll definitely be back!

I've been eating here regularly for years and have always recommended the restaurant. Unfortunately, with the move to the core, the prices have also increased significantly. The former USP of “good and cheap” simply no longer exists. I now prefer to eat at the small Asian snack bar directly opposite, where you pay around 30% less but can still sit outside.

Fair prices, very nice service, great food! Not a romantic place but wonderfully uncomplicated. If you like Asian food, this is the place for you.

I have eaten at this restaurant several times and have always been satisfied. However, what happened to me today is impossible, so I will never come back. I ordered number 18 with tofu. I then received number 18 with chicken. So I went to the checkout and told the lady that I had received the wrong food. She pointed out to me that I had forgotten the “A” in the order (18A) and said that she couldn’t do anything for me. I specifically said “number 18 with tofu” when I ordered. End of story: The lady approached me 0.0%, insisted “you have to say A” and I neither got my money back nor the food I had actually ordered. Additionally, the lady became very loud and absolutely rude. So I paid money for nothing. That is not how it works. I've never experienced anything like this and I'm really shocked.

The soup Pho dau Phu contained neither intense spices nor significant coriander and tasted so boring that I had to advise against it. Unfortunately. But it really can be done much better. For almost 11 euros.

The food was once again unique. Sushi as a starter and green curry with baked chicken as a main course. Delicious. We are regular guests and would love to come back.

Everything is OK to good. The shop is now housed in the "Core", which doesn't make the ambience any better. The food is good, like many Asian restaurants, and the price is right.

Nice place with quick service. Summer rolls were tasty but for example the soup not very balanced. Sweet and sour chicken with a re-deep fried chicken might have become a disappointing standard but a sauce with broccoli, chick peas and green beans are just off.

A really great meal at a good price. I haven't eaten duck so well in a long time. The soup was also to die for. The atmosphere is great for families, as there are play areas for children nearby.

We have known the store since the beginning and were initially blown away! Really great, delicious food and for a fair price. Unfortunately, some dishes will be increasingly reduced in terms of ingredients in the coming years. Back then, the Pho Bo soup still had ginger, chili and lemongrass. Now probably only in the form of powder or something similar. With the current move to the new store, the store is losing its charm. It was always great to sit outside under the railway bridge in summer. Unfortunately, prices have also risen enormously, so the frequency of our visits has decreased significantly. A pity. We really loved the store. Food is still good!

Very tasty dishes. The sushi is very tasty. The staff are busy but attentive and friendly. Only the ambience suffers somewhat from the basic structure of the core.

Vorm Umzug in die Heiligengeiststraße waren wir häufig und gerne dort, aber leider hat die Qualität echt nachgelassen. Alles hatte heute einen merkwürdigen Nachgeschmack, selbst der Fisch... Das Maki-Sushi sah lieblos zusammengedrückt aus (siehe Foto)... Alles in allem war es schade ums Geld, nur der Hunger trieb es halbwegs rein... Kommunikation am Tresen war mal wieder eine Katastrophe und dann durften wir noch miterleben, wie ein junger Mann von der Mitarbeiterin durch den Laden hindurch ANGESCHRIEN wurde, weil er den Pieper wohl nicht sofort mitbekommen hatte oder was auch immer das Problem war.. Als zahlender Gast von der Mitarbeiterin im Restaurant angeschrien werden... Geht gar nicht!! Wir waren heute zum letzten Mal in diesem Laden. Schade!

Gestern kränkelnd auf der Suche nach einer warmen Suppe hier eingekehrt. Ist in einer sogenannten Markthalle mit anderen Anbietern. Angenehmes Ambiente. Suppe war hervorragend, Frühlingsrollen auch. Nur zu empfehlen.

Wie immer sehr lecker! Auch nach dem Umzug ins Core Center keine Änderung der Qualität der Speisen. In der neuen Location präsentiert sich das Viêt Phô sehr einladend.

Service super, Ambiente gut und Essen top! Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt und das Essen wurde heiß und lecker serviert. Gerne wieder. Wir hatten gebratene Nudeln mit gebackenem Hähnchen, Reis mit gebackenem Hähnchen und Ente mit Bratreis.

Beste Asia Küche in Oldenburg.......bin Gast erster Stunde und feier die Crew total ab.

Unfassbar schlecht und dazu noch unfreundlich Ich hatte die Nr. 50, "Gebratene Nudeln mit verschiedenem frischem Gemüse, Sojasprossen und Gemüse (vegetarisch)", und es wurde ein Haufen trockener Nudeln serviert, mit vereinzelten Stäbchen von Möhren und Lauch (?), im Format kleiner als Zahnstocher, dazu eine winzige Garnitur aus trockenem Chinakohl und einem hauchdünnen Plättchen Möhre sowie ein winziges Schälchen Soße. Auf meine Frage, wo das Gemüse sei, wies man auf die erwähnten mikroskopischen Möhren- und Lauchstückchen. Ich erwiderte, das sei wohl nicht ihr Ernst? und bekam darauf lustlos und mit grimmiger Miene 3-4 Stücke gedünsteten Chinakohl auf den Teller geworfen. Ich beklage mich nicht über den Preis, sondern über die Diskrepanz zwischen Beschreibung und dem tatsächlich Dargebotenen und über das völlige Fehlen eines Problembewusstseins. Das sollte eine vollwertige Mittagsmahlzeit sein! Auf den Tellern meiner KollegInnen sah es zwar teilweise besser aus, dennoch war es für mich der erste und letzte Besuch in diesem Etablissement!

Leider werden die Portionen kleiner, aber der Preis ist geblieben. Sehr Schade

Wer lecker und nicht schick essen möchte ist hier am richtigen Platz. Ich bin jedes Mal aufs Neue ganz hin und weg nach dem Essen wie lecker es doch wieder war. Vegetarier können hier auch richtig gut schlemmen.

Wir hatten Pho Suppen. Leider nach wenig geschmeckt und alles sehr lieblos angerichtet.

Solide vietnamesische Kost. Frisch und lecker zubereitet. Preislich derzeit günstig, finde ich. Freundliches Personal. Ambiente ist Geschmackssache. Klare Empfehlung!

The authentic taste of Pho here reminds me of my hometown so much after living far away from home for a few years. I will definitely come back here soon.

Für mich das beste Thai-Curry Oldenburgs. Dazu immer freundlich und schnell im Service.

Es ist eventuell nicht das Asiatische Restaurant mit der schönsten Einrichtung, aber das ist, für uns, das beste Asiatische Restaurant in Oldenburg...

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis. Pho ist enorm gut. Schön, dass die Küche sichtbar für den Kunden ist. 5 Sterne in einer Imbissskala. Natürlich im Vergleich zu richtigen Restaurants ist da noch an vielen Stellen Luft oben.

Preiswerte, authentische vietnamesische Küche. Es ist kein nobeles Retaurant. Dennoch kann man hier schnell und gut Essen.

Essen war lecker. Meine pho-suppe war Recht mild, aber Gewürze standen am platz.Preis-Leistung top.

Wer den Mix aus koreanischer und vietnamesischen Küche mag, wird das Viet Pho lieben. Sehr nettes Team und ausgezeichnete Küche. Auf dem Waffenplatz mit einem Cocktail starten und dann Kimchi und Vorspeisen aus der Auswahl bestellen. Die eigene Würzsoße unbedingt probieren. Asia at it's best.

Immer super leckeres Essen. Leute aber sehr unfreundlich und tauschen das essen nicht um, wenn es versalzen ist. Der eine mit der Cap sagt denn einfach gehört so und will dich auch nicht verstehen. Hab das Gericht schon tausend mal gegessen und es war laut meiner Begleitung auch versalzen. Ihn Wollten sie auch nicht verstehen.

Wirklich sehr gute Küche. In Oldenburg schon lange kein Geheimtipp mehr, daher besonders zur Mittagszeit recht voll. Im Sommer ist dies kein Problem, da zusätzliche Plätze draußen zur Verfügung stehen. Im Winter kann es zu Wartezeiten kommen, was ja am Ende auch für das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis steht. Die Speisen werden in einer offenen Küche frisch aus frischen Zutaten zubereitet und sind geschmacklich wirklich sehr gut.
