We have been coming to this family-run Italian restaurant for decades. There was never anything negative with either the food or the service.

ticket price to high and service was unfortunately not the best. I had to pay the full price for my daughter even if under the given age and this just because she forgot her id at the hotel. nevermind, we took it anyway but in that price the minimum expected is to get a digital guide to allow following the story. Still a place full of history and emotions

The food is perfect. We have been eating there again and again for many years. We have never been disappointed.

Small pizzeria run exclusively by the family. Food is varied and very good. We will eat there again and again.

The food was absolutely fine, the service was attentive and friendly. After dinner you had the pleasure of thoroughly putting your entire wardrobe through the washing machine - as if the evening wasn't exciting enough!

The staff at this restaurant are incredibly inconsiderate! I am woken up every night between 1 and 2 a.m. because trash and glass bottles are being disposed of with maximum noise and employees are shouting loudly. The noise echoes extremely from the surrounding residential buildings, giving you the feeling that the employees are shouting directly into your ear. I am woken up every night and can only sleep through the night when the restaurant is closed. In the morning I drag myself to work, exhausted. It's an imposition!

Very nice service, good food, nice atmosphere. I've been going there since 1982.

We became aware of the Pompei restaurant based on a recommendation. At first glance I was really suspicious as to whether it could do anything. But when I ate, my concerns disappeared. Eat; Pizza was super tasty, seafood salad was super tasty. Service was very nice and value for money was absolutely OK. Simply furnished with italo sound, environment sola 🫣. But would recommend it.

Delicious!! This family owned and operated restaurant was so good. I did not get pictures of everything but we enjoyed the Bruschetta and Caprese Salad as well as this Jagerschnitzle.

We waited over two hours for our food and after this long wait we were informed that two of the dishes we ordered were no longer available. This is simply unacceptable. Despite a reservation, we were ignored for almost 5 minutes, then a table was half-heartedly prepared and assigned to us. Basically, we felt very unwanted. Because we were hungry, we stayed anyway. The food was delivered to me first and to my fellow guest 15 minutes later. There was no eye contact or questions. After almost 1 hour we got our pizza and our spaghetti. The waiting time was still acceptable, but there was a massive difference in the delivery of the food, which could have been managed by the coordinator. In my opinion, the way guests are treated has no place in the catering industry. 1. you were ignored and people deliberately looked past you and walked past you. 2. Standing around in the middle of the restaurant seemed very strange to everyone. 3. Italian guests were given priority. 4. During the busy period, all other guests were treated as second priority. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be an isolated case. I had previously remembered the restaurant as very good and had organized a business lunch there. I will organize this somewhere else in the future. I hope that Pompei will shine back to its former glory. But I am very disappointed.

I've never written a review in my life, but I've never experienced such poor service. We had reserved a table by phone and then stood at the entrance for 5 minutes without being noticed. When you arrived at the table, you felt really unwelcome, as other guests, including Italian guests, were served earlier and in a friendlier manner. The drinks we ordered came after about 20 minutes and our starter was even there beforehand. My colleague got his spaghetti 60 minutes after ordering, while I had to wait another 12 minutes for my pizza. We were never able to order more drinks... I was there today for the first and last time, and I don't understand why the restaurant still has such good reviews because, according to the reviews, we are not an isolated case.

Price/performance ratio is top 👌 Main menu always very tasty. However, this time we had a long hair in our food. The bruscetta was also seasoned far too lightly for our taste. Almost no flavor except the tomatoes. We also found the bread much too hard. However, we would go back at any time.

Typical Italian local. Good original Italian food, good ambience. The staff very nice. Try it out, it's worth it.

Small but fine Italian restaurant. The whole thing is rather inconspicuous from the outside, but it is very busy in the evening, especially on weekends. It's better to make a reservation, especially if you are more than two people. You can also order your pizza and pick it up yourself. This is also used extensively. But there is not only pizza, but also various pasta, meat and fish dishes. When we were there, mussels were on sale. They were huge piles. The pasta with seafood also had a lot of mussels. To get to the toilets you have to go into the basement with a narrow spiral staircase.

Price /Quality ratio for this place is amazing, decent pizza with great crispy dough. Very nice staff. A bit outdated interior but that doesn't matter when the food is great. Also very big portions. Might be a good option to offer half portions, especially the pasta was a lot of food.

I've never eaten so badly. Cold cuts antipasto was tasteless, the pasta was oversalted and still half raw, the pizza was also half raw. When I was clearing up I wasn't asked how the food was, even though I didn't eat anything Sorry but that was all very bad.

Lunches with the family depends on between 14 and 20 people....always good, all pizza especially cooked and not soggy, kind staff always attentive...my father in a wheelchair, Mrs. Angela, the owner, always tries to give us a place where we can settle my dad well...anyway to summarize..super quality, quantity.. honest price.. excellent staff

I've been ordering pizza here for years but lately it's completely different. I always get burned from underneath, it tastes like coal. In short, it is an unnecessary expense. I don't recommend it anymore. They do it very badly, they don't care about words

The food was very tasty. You have a lot of different choices. The staff was nice too. Waiting times are okay. It's a nice restaurant but relatively noisy when it's full.

Ci vengo sempre nuovamente, soprattutto per i piatti tipici del Cilento, che mi fanno ricordare la mia infanzia. Le porzioni sono piuttosto grandi, ma dato che la cucina è così buona, raramente rimane qualcosa nel piatto.

Waren zur Weihnachtsfeier mit ca. 10 Personen dort. Qualität des Essens und Portionen Größe sind gut. Der Service war jedoch nicht auf Umsatz aus und musste lmmer an der Tisch gerufen werden um Nachbstellen zu können.

Essen ist sehr gut. Service anfänglich gut, zum Schluss, nach Dessert gab es nichts mehr zu trinken. Schade

Outstanding food. Pizza was crispy and ingredients were fresh. The salad was beautiful. Cannelloni was also very good. Beer was also very reasonably priced. We were very happy with the price. Food came out quick and the restaurant was full. Service was great and very accommodating.

Leider muss ich meine Bewertung von 5 auf 3 Sterne machen. Die letzten 2x war das Personal so überfordert das ich mir schlussendlich selber das Besteck geholt habe. Man wird fast Ignoriert und wenn mal einer schaut versteht er kein Deutsch. Am Eingang standen wir 5-10 Minuten wie bestellt und nicht abgeholt. Schaad ich hab mich immer so wohl gefühlt in der Pizzeria. Pizza sind immer noch sehr sehr gut!

Beste Pizza auch Nudelgerichte sind super!

We waited 10 minutes to be seated, the waiter walked past us at least 10 times, didn’t bother greeting us. The food took an hour to be served. Then it was mediocre at best. Very disappointing!! It used to be much better, used to have better food and friendlier service!

Habe bestellt und sollte in 15 Min abholen, war dann auch pünktlich vor Ort und musste weitere 30 Min warten. Die Pizza war 15 Min vorher fertig und somit kalt.

Italienisches Restaurant, familiärer geführt und freundlichem Service. Es gibt die ganze Bandbreite an italienischen Gerichten, mit sehr guten Pizzen. Das Ambiente hat noch etwas Luft nach oben, die Tische sind schon recht eng gestellt. Eine Reservierung ist schon zu empfehlen, gerade wenn die Möglichkeit draußen zu sitzen fehlt.

Das Essen war OK. Die Chefin/Leiterin war Gästen gegenüber Ok, aber herablassend gegenüber Mitarbeiter. Komme nicht wieder und empfehle es nicht weiter.

Wir waren mit freunden Pizza essen. Die Pizza die wir hatten (Margarita, Schinken, 4 Käse) waren lecker. Auch die grösse der Pizza war echt gut. Bedenkt man das Ambiente muss man etwas Abstriche machen. Aber um mit Freunden ne Pizza zu essen absolut ok. Die Preise sind leider für das was ich kenne etwas teurer für die Qualität der Pizza.

Abbiamo ordinato pasta e pizza la pizza si puo mangiare ma la pasta proprio una delusione totale senza sale sugo acquoso e quando ho reclamato la cameriera signiora Angela mi viene a dire che e impossibile e mi da dell tu..... Ma come si permette lei?? Cmq se non siete in grado di sopportare delle critiche cambiate mestiere.

Freunde haben uns dieses tolle Restaurant empfohlen. Wie wurden herzlich empfangen. Grosse Menukarte, gute Wein Auswahl. Wir liessen uns vom Inhaber beraten. Feiner Apero, dazu Pruscetta. Dann eine kleine Pizza Bianca und als Hauptspeise eine leckere Fischplatte mit verschiedenem Fisch vom Grill mit Gemüse. Der Vino della Casa ist sehr gut. Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung. Preis und Leistung stimmen zu 100%. Reservierung ist von Vorteil. Immer gerne wieder.

Hier gilt Quantität vor Qualität. Im inneren stinkt es nach frittierten aus der Küche. Nicht einmal Salat Sauce wird selber gemacht..... Ich kam mit Vorfreude und war einfach enttäuscht über den Abend. Bedienung war nett.

Wir sind Spontan mit der ganzen Familie essen gegangen ohne Reservation was bei diesem Restaurant nicht gerade optimal ist da dieses restaurant echt gut besucht wird. Bedienung leider nicht besonders zuvorkommend, Fleischgerichte ok, 6 von 6 Pizzen trocken und zu durch gewesen. Der hohe Preis ist eindeutig der Grenznähe wegen, nicht der zu erwartenden hohen Qualität. Schade

Nichts zu meckern gibt es über die Gerichte und die Gastfreundschaft. Allerdings bräuchte das Restaurant dringend eine Renovierung und vor allem eine funktionierende Lüftung! Nach dem Essen musste ich alle Klamotten waschen und mich duschen. So sehr stinkt man, wenn man im Pompei war. Schade!

Immer wieder ein Vergnügen, super Gastgeber und super Speisen. Pizzas sehr zu empfehlen! Eine gute und übersichtliche Speisekarte! Weiter so!
