Polka in Hamburg

A lovely little café with good coffee and homemade bread and cakes. Nice ambiente. Tasty. Nice priced.

The Vlet is a really nice place in the Speicherstadt (warehouse district), where you can enjoy modern and delicious northern German cuisine. I had the marinated salmon with cucumber salad – super fresh and light, just the right thing to start your meal. My boyfriend absolutely loved the beef fillet – tender and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, with a great view of the old warehouses. The service was friendly and attentive to our needs without making us feel intrusive. The beer and wine selection also went perfectly with the food. Overall, a really good place if you want to try something special.

For that price the food was really good.
