Definitiv ein Ausflug wert. Leckeres Essen, ein tolles Ambiente, sehr kinderfreundlich.

Was für eine schöne idyllische Lokation. Mit dem Camper übernachtet und mit unkompliziertem vorbestellen auch noch um 20:45 Uhr auf beste und freundlichste versorgt. Vielen Dank dafür.

Tolles Ambiente gutes Essen.Was zu bemängeln ist das es sehr lange gedauert hat bis das Essen serviert wurde.1Mahlzeit kam 19.50Euro was preislich sehr viel ist aber die Portion für das Geld viel zu klein war.Ansonsten wie immer sehr schön zum entspannen.

Ideales Ziel für eine Radtour mit den Kindern (aber auch ohne). Großer Außenbereich direkt am Teich mit viel Schattenplätzen, großer Gastraum innen, sehr freundliches Tischpersonal. Preise der heutigen Zeit angemessen, alles lecker und eine gute Auswahl, sowohl Speisen als auch Getränke.

Ein tolles Lokal in idyllischer Umgebung und mit schönem Ambiente. Die Speisenauswahl war groß, der Service nett und fleißig. Es hat alles super geschmeckt, auch die hausgemachte Limonade ist sehr zu empfehlen. Vielen Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, immer einen coolen Spruch parat. Speisen waren sehr gut. Umwanderung des Teiches gut zu umlafen. Großer Spielplatz vorhanden und versch. Tiere zum besichtigen. Kommen wieder. Toiletten auch für Rollstuhlfahrer vorhanden.

Zu jederzeit. Essen top, im Garten unter dem Baum im Schatten, mit Blink auf den Teich wunderbar, war nicht das letzte Mal.

An Ostern kamen wir ohne Reservierung zum Kaffeetrinken vorbei. Wir bekamen einen sehr schönen Platz im Gastraum. Alles ist passend zum Ambiente des Restaurants ländlich eingerichtet. Es gibt wirklich schöne Außenplätze mit Blick auf den Teich. Hier schwimmen Enten. Auf dem Gelände gibt es noch einen Spielplatz und ein kleines Ziegengehege. Mit Kindern kann man sich hervorragend die Zeit vertun. Sie werden Spaß haben. Wir beurteilen hier nur das Kaffee und Eis Angebot. Da hätten wir uns etwas mehr Wertigkeit gewünscht, besonders beim Eis. Waffel war gut und frisch gemacht. Bedienung freundlich. Preis in Ordnung. Lautstärke in Ordnung um sich zu unterhalten. Toiletten sehr sauber. Es gibt noch eine schöne Kegelbahn. Parken kein Problem. Personen mit Handicap können hervorragend ans Objekt fahren.

Sehr schönes Ausflugsziel, Verbunden mit einer Wanderung zur Wolfsgrüner Talsperre. Die Wirtin ist sehr geschäfstüchtig und feundlich. Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis auch Top!

Gekommen 11uhr45.Essen kam 13 Uhr 40. Die Hälfte des Essen war kalt. Das war leider unser letzter Besuch.

Der Spielplatz ist sehr groß, doch braucht unbedingt Reparaturen in vielen Bereichen. Ansonsten ein Traum für die ganze Familie um einfach mal abzuschalten. Es war ein gelungener Ausflug

Sehr schön dort, essen hat aber relativ lange gedauert war aber auch sehr voll .

Die Lage der Pohlteichschänke ist wirklich schön, doch leider war unser Besuch insgesamt sehr enttäuschend. Besonders erschrocken hat uns die Kaninchenhaltung vor Ort. Die Tiere werden einzeln in winzigen, veralteten Holzbuchten gehalten, was in keiner Weise ihren natürlichen Bedürfnissen nach Bewegung und Sozialkontakt entspricht. In der heutigen Zeit wirkt eine solche Haltung einfach nur noch traurig und absolut nicht mehr vertretbar. Passend zu diesem wenig zeitgemäßen Umgang mit Tieren ist leider auch die Speisekarte: Ein einziges veganes Gericht ist für ein modernes Ausflugsziel im Jahr 2026 definitiv zu wenig. Wer Wert auf Tierwohl und eine zeitgemäße Küche legt, fühlt sich hier leider nicht abgeholt. Wir kommen unter diesen Umständen nicht wieder.

Wir waren heute mit Familie zum Oster essen in der Schänke. Das Essen war super, hier und da etwas mehr Salz, aber das kann man ja nachwürzen. Die Deko ist geschmackssache und außer Wertung. Was mich extrem gestört hat, war der Spielplatz auf dem Gelände. Wir waren mit einem 4 jährigen Kind, welches unbedingt auf das kletter Gerüst wollte. Die Seile sind extrem verwittert, die Drahtseile sind stark verrostet und schon zum Großteil durchtrennt. Das Holz sehr marode. Da konnte ich mein Kind nicht drauf lassen und für unser Kind war der Mittag dann erstmal gelaufen. Bitte sperren sie den Turm unbedingt ab.

Mega tolles nettes Personal, man fühlt sich direkt wohl und essen kann man dort immer gut, egal ob Kaffee oder Mittag es geht immer.

Mir und meinem Begleiter hat es hier sehr gut geschmeckt, außerdem empfand ich den Service als absolut super. Auch die Umgebung und das Styling im Restaurant ist absolut Klasse.

Seit längerem waren wir in größerer Gesellschaft dort, um Geburtstag zu feiern. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Wir fühlten uns super aufgehoben und kommen gern wieder. Dankeschön.

Mit einer großen Familie etwas zu finden ist nicht immer einfach. Hier haben wir die Möglichkeit gemeinsam zu essen und danach noch zu Kegeln. Das Essen ist super und der Service ebenso 😊

Wir haben am 2.Feiertag auf 13.30 Uhr (2.Durchgang) reserviert. Getränke haben wir nach 1h bekommen und das Essen nach 2h. Qualitativ und mengenmäßig Durchschnitt, keinesfalls dem Preis entsprechend. Nie wieder! Das Personal war restlos überfordert! Hier will man schnell viel Geld verdienen! Sucht euch eine andere Lokalität!

Wir hatten Karpfen gegessen. Sehr lecker. Und eine sehr nette Chefin.

Sonntag Abend, ohne Reservierung, trotz voller Gaststube Platz geschaffen, Service sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, Speisen sehr Lecker, Danke an die Küche u.das ganze Team. Wir kommen mal wieder.

Essen war gut, Personal war freundlich und die Kegelbahn war auch gut. Alles im allem Top.

Wir waren zum Geburtstag meiner Tante in der Poolteichschänke Kirchberg und wurden positiv überrascht. Der Hirschbraten mit Wickelklößen war geschmacklich ein Volltreffer. Beim Servieren hatte man sich zwar mit der Kloßanzahl vertan – aber keine Panik: Der Nachschub kam schnell, heiß und mit reichlich Soße. Fehler passieren, aber so souverän muss man sie erst mal ausbügeln. Insgesamt ein Besuch, der zeigt: Hier nimmt man Qualität und Service ernst. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Kann nicht viel dazu sagen war nur auf dem Parkplatz davor... Aber ein ruhiges Örtchen

Sehr gemütliche Gaststätte, freundliche und schnelle Bedienung. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Ein sehr schönes Ausflugsziel für Familien. Schöner großer Biergarten, Kinderspielplatz, ein kleiner Teich und einpaar Tiere. Sehr zu empfehlen.

It's always worth a visit. This time we each just had a small meal (fish sandwich, spicy meat) and once again some delicious ice cream. The service is friendly, the food is always delicious, and the atmosphere is pleasant.

We celebrated our 50th birthday at the Pohlteichschänke in Kirchberg – with a "Gatsby Party" theme – and it was simply wonderful! The venue is very charming and cozy, the ambiance perfectly matched the theme, and the team there was super friendly and attentive. An all-around successful celebration that we can recommend to everyone!

We were there two weeks ago and have never experienced such unfriendly service. The young man was completely unhelpful and extremely rude and irritable. The music was way too loud. The sauerbraten was tough, the sauce watery, and the dumplings must have been stale. We'll never go there again! The price/performance ratio is disproportionate!

A very good restaurant in a fantastic location on the lake. In summer, you can sit on the large outdoor terrace and, after dinner, take a short walk around the lake or go rowing. There's a playground for children and plenty of animals (ducks, swans, rabbits, horses) to see. The location is also ideal for celebrations of all kinds. The owner plans everything individually according to your wishes and, with the help of her team, executes it flawlessly. We are always very satisfied.

Good location for family celebrations.

It was my first time there and I only knew it from stories from 27 years ago. A lot has changed since then; there's space for celebrations of all kinds. A modern bowling alley with a bar and room for a table, both inside and outside (first floor/extension). After bowling, we sat outside by the lake, watching the sunset and all. :P Nice chef, but he's on the B shift ;-)

Yes. There's a lovely playground, a pond, and animals you can pet. Highly recommended for families with children. The service is simply excellent. We arrived 45 minutes earlier than our order yesterday. It wasn't a problem.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We brought our dog, and they were also welcome. The food was quick and delicious. Highly recommended, and we'd love to come back!

It's a disgrace to charge such prices for the size of the food. Even the children's portions are too small for them. The schnitzels for adults were tasteless and tiny. If all the plates are empty, that's not always a sign that the food was tasty, but rather that there wasn't enough on the plates!

Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend it. They no longer serve outside, and you have to pay the same price as inside where you are served! And the staff, unfortunately, aren't the friendliest either! A real shame!

Very well located excursion restaurant (Schänke) with friendly staff and a good selection of food and drinks. Playground for children, rowing boat rental, large terrace and outdoor seating available. You can get to know nature on a hike around the pond and the signposted hiking trail to Borberg is also available. The Pohlteichschänke is highly recommended.

Ambiguous story. The location and outdoor area are very appealing, but unfortunately the food on offer can't keep up. A simple frozen croquette remains just that, even if the menu advertises it in ridiculously flowery terms... All in all, they're trying hard, but the price-performance ratio—despite the current circumstances—is grotesquely disproportionate. The decor may be okay for a simple snack bar in idyllic surroundings, but nothing more, unfortunately.

A lovely destination for a day trip, for example by bike. Whether coffee and cake or a fish sandwich and beer, whatever your heart desires.

Beautifully located restaurant. We went for Mother's Day dinner. Unfortunately, the food wasn't good. The asparagus was completely watery, and the hollandaise sauce was ready-made. The schnitzel wasn't good either. The asparagus cream soup didn't taste good, there were no seasonings. Everything looked like ready-made food. There's a lot of room for improvement.

Beautifully located by a pond. The restaurant is decorated in a maritime style with large panoramic windows and a beautiful terrace. When the weather is nice, there is also a stand with outdoor dining next to the restaurant. The staff is super friendly and happy to have a little chat with the guests. The range of food on offer is very good and everything is freshly prepared. There are also seasonal and vegetarian dishes. Everything is rounded off with a great selection of cakes and ice cream. Outside by the lake, a few rabbits and goats are the big highlight for children. We really liked it and tasted it too. We'd love to stop by here again when we're in the area.

Unfortunately I can only give one star and that's for the nice waitresses. We had ordered a buffet for a birthday, unfortunately it didn't meet our expectations, the buffet was set up too late because it was already cold and "thrown" into the bowls completely carelessly. Unfortunately the taste was bad, 80% of the warm things were frozen, I can do that much better at home. No thanks, not again.

We have been here several times, the restaurant is very lovingly furnished in a maritime style. The waiter is extremely friendly and accommodating. The food simply tastes great. A reservation is an advantage. As always, we were very happy with the service and the food was again excellent.

Parking lot next door. Quiet location. Employees are hardworking and friendly. The food, whether in the restaurant or “snack bar”, is delicious. The guest room is nicely furnished and you feel very comfortable there. The well-kept outdoor area is large and ideal for a trip with children. There is a playground and toys for the children and to relax you can either paddle around the pond or visit the rabbits and goats. The children always liked it and so did we.

Had dinner today with a larger table. The restaurant was relatively full with similarly sized tables... you have to expect waiting times, but it shouldn't be that long. At the beginning we didn't even get any tickets (we took some ourselves) and then we waited around for half an hour until our food was even taken in. We then had to wait at least 1.5 hours until we got the main course. It was nothing special and absolutely not justified for the price. Otherwise the dining room is beautifully furnished.

We've been there a few times and were actually quite satisfied before. Recently, however, we had to experience that the pork was no longer good or edible - so we had it returned. We especially had the impression that the ingredients were no longer as fresh as they once were. We didn't have to pay for all of the food, the waitress/cashier was largely friendly. We would give the tavern another chance in due course.

A very good restaurant for our Christmas party. We ate and drank very well and then ended the evening with a few drinks at the bowling alley. A great team pampered us well during the stressful Christmas season. Extra requests were also promptly implemented. The price is also okay. Thank you, keep it up. You'll see us again!

I really can't understand the positive reviews. Well, we waited an hour for the food. This is okay. I had a salad as a starter. This only consisted of canned food (beans, cauliflower and a red cabbage) sorry, unfortunately that was the case. For 6.50 euros. My family had Kirchberger carp and Rostbrätel. I'm a bitch myself. The carp was just scraps, not what one was used to seeing in other dining establishments in the area. The Rostbrätel also without words. My ground pork not a bit crispy, completely overcooked. The sauce is simply disgusting. No thanks not again. It has never happened to me that I felt so bad after a meal. You pay a lot of money and I think you can get good service for it. You don't criticize everything, but I've never experienced anything like that. So no recommendations from me.

We went bowling on a Saturday evening, had booked in advance and only 2/4 lanes were occupied. Nice atmosphere, good track conditions and a selection of drinks including our own beer.
