PLEßER's in Fröndenberg/Ruhr

We were in the restaurant on September 22nd, 2023 with 12 people after a funeral. Had reserved for it on September 13th. On the one hand, the service staff were completely overwhelmed, even though the restaurant was almost empty, and on the other hand, some of them were dressed completely inappropriately for service staff. A 1/2 hour after we arrived we were asked for drinks. We then asked for a drinks menu. Several menus were also brought, but they were all different. The highlight was the card with empty plastic sheets. Half an hour later we actually had something to drink. Then we also ordered food. About 2:45 hours after our arrival the first dishes were brought. Unfortunately there was no cutlery included. After the cutlery was brought, the first people could start eating. “Surprise” it wasn’t even lukewarm. Schnitzel, fries, “cold” sauce. The side salad we ordered was actually that. “No dressing”. We let the young restaurant manager try it and he couldn't help but agree that the food was absolutely cold. After more than 3 hours we paid for our drinks and went on our way hungry. We actually wanted to commemorate our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother at a family gathering, but that was taken away from us too. Thank you!!! Addendum to our ruined meeting: I would have liked to have spoken to the owner the following day. But again the young restaurant manager was sent ahead. To be honest, I felt sorry for him because he had to hold his head. He explained to me that his boss wasn't able to have a short conversation with me. She wouldn't be in a good mood mentally. Sorry, I wasn't either, after the experience. But if I, as the owner, am not in a position to have a quick conversation with a rightly dissatisfied guest, that should give me something to think about!!!

Unfortunately, it was a complete disaster. All the staff were overwhelmed, and nothing ran smoothly. The wait times, whether for drinks or food, were incredibly long, even though the restaurant and terrace weren't full. The food was just like the service; it must have been sitting around for ages because when it arrived at my table, it was cold—not even lukewarm. I can't recommend this restaurant and wouldn't go back.

The restaurant was highly recommended to us by friends, so we went there spontaneously and received a warm welcome. We were immediately offered a quiet spot with very comfortable seating. Shade was immediately provided by a huge parasol. The service is first-class. The owners served us personally and were courteous and incredibly friendly. It felt like we'd been regulars for years. Now for the food: I had a Wiener Schnitzel and my wife had tagliatelle with a cream sauce. I must admit, I've rarely eaten so well. We'll definitely be back! The restaurant also offers space for larger events, such as birthdays or similar, which we will definitely use for my wife's next milestone birthday.

"all around" satisfactory in every way!

A superb terrace with a fantastic view. The potato salad was delicious, home-style cooking, with everything mixed together on the grill...unfortunately inedible for me as an allergy sufferer. The service was unfortunately lacking in clarity.

Essen sehr gut Parkplätze ohne Ende

Tolles Ambiente, sehr schöne Aussicht auf den Golfplatz. Bei der Speisekarte ist von Currywurst bis Ente alles dabei (aber auch nicht zu viel, man muss es ja auch lecker zubereiten können). Es schmeckt super, Chefin und Personal sehr nett, Preis-Leistung total angemessen und alles ordentlich und sauber. Passt also, weiter viel Erfolg mit dem Pleßers.

Das Pleßer's - die neue Gastronomie am Golfclub Unna-Fröndenberg - hat viele neue und sehr leckere Gerichte und Kleinigkeiten (für zwischendurch) in der Speisekarte aufgenommen. Da ist für jeden etwas dabei. Wünschen dem Pleßer's-Team weiterhin viel Erfolg … macht weiter so 🫶
