As always, good food and extremely fast service. Everything is very well organized. But you get the impression that the boss has the whip behind the employees and everything has to happen *quickly quickly quickly quickly quickly*. Like: Eat - clear away - next paying customer!!! You almost feel pressured by the hectic pace and that completely ruins the cozy atmosphere. It's really crazy when it comes to CASHING OUT at the checkout. Quick, quick, quick, the boss doesn't look you in the eye and with a 5 euro tip you don't even get a thank you. Well, next time = card payment and tips are given to the runners, done! A reduction in his somewhat arrogant manner would look good on the boss.

Decent portions and plenty of space. Tip: Gyros gratinated with fried potatoes

Cozy Greek restaurant with great service. Meat lovers will definitely get their money's worth here. Had the only vegetarian main course on the menu. It was very rich and tasty. Prices for drinks and food are moderate and reasonable.

A nice Greek restaurant. If you want to go out for a finer meal and not in a snack bar style. It was tasty and the staff was very friendly. Special requests for fixed foods on the menu can be easily accommodated (e.g. fried potatoes instead of fries). I will go there again when I feel like it.

Recently I was there again very strongly. I never wanted to go there again 1.5 - 2 years ago because the food and service was catastrophic, but now everything has changed. The food is much better and I can only recommend it The pork steaks are super tender, something you don't get everywhere, and still edible and delicious even after 2 hours of cold. Lamb fillets (recommendation) Man, it tastes like it's not a joke but really a lamb tastes great. All in all, this is a good restaurant. The disadvantage is that the tables are too close together and there is little privacy. The people sitting next to you at the table hear your conversations.

The food is typically Greek, high quality. No matter what you order, it is always very tasty and plentiful. The atmosphere is modern, there is a winter garden and it is homely. The parking situation is good - partly on the street, partly behind the house. Unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. Some steps are already in front of the house, others inside. It was a pleasure.

It was again very tasty. The portions are so large that you don't actually need the extra side dishes. The prices are reasonable for the large portions. The liver was tender and juicy. The fried sheep's cheese was also very well received. The Djuve rice had a slightly spicy note and was also very tasty. All in all, it was another very successful evening. We'll definitely come back.

Everything delicious as always. Unfortunately, the prices are slowly becoming absolutely cheeky, for us it's the last time for now. Fries and other side dishes cost extra, which is different for us in this price segment.

Was there for the third time today. But now for the last time. Steaks are good but also relatively expensive. But not the grill plates. Even the bifteki is dry, you have to manage that first. The liver is tough, the meat is dry, everything has no kick. Even the tzatziki tastes boring like it comes from a discounter. The Djuvic rice also has no pizzazz. The good reviews are a mystery to me. Stars for the good service and steaks.

Plaka is always worth a visit. Best Greek in Hamm and a radius of 100km!

The food was very good and the restaurant was very noisy.

We were there spontaneously on Sunday lunchtime and were greeted warmly and served quickly. The staff is really nice and asks questions too. The food is rich and, we were surprised, the portions are really big, but the quality is still good. Although many people ordered gyros, for example, it was well done and not "floppy". Everything was delicious. Price/performance is definitely at the top here. There are enough parking spaces. We'll definitely come back when we're in Hamm again. Best Greek in a long time!

Very great food, the starter (scampi in olive oil) was the best thing I've ever eaten. But steak is not recommended as there is a lot of room for improvement in my opinion. The star for food and service is missing because a medium steak with Metaxa sauce was brought instead of a normal English steak. This didn't taste that good either. Otherwise it would easily be 5 stars in service. When it comes to eating, it's also about the steak, which was very good compared to the rest, but I've also eaten better.

Always go there, there is no better place in the area 👍👍

Today we ate there again after a long time, I've never had such a bland salad and for the price. The tomatoes were so big that you can't fit them in your mouth, instead of feta it was cheap shepherd's cheese .the gyro was the only thing that was good.

Ein Abend zum Valentinstag hätte ich mir anders vorgestellt und so kenne ich Plaka gar nicht. Die Kerzen auf dem Tisch brannten überhaupt nicht, die Kellner gingen etliche Male an unserem Tisch vorbei ohne zu sehen, dass mein Glas leer war. Als erfahrener Kellner ein absolutes No Go. Der Chef selbst war an den Tag auch recht unfreundlich und sollte sich mal überlegen wovon er lebt. Das Essen war meiner Meinung nach auch schon mal mehr auf dem Teller.

We had dinner there with the family at Christmas. From experience it was of course very crowded. The staff still seemed a bit overwhelmed. Paying for it was a catastrophe in my opinion. Paying at the table was not possible. That meant you had to pay in line at the counter. Because it was very full, you would have to wait quite a long time. It doesn't work like that at all. The very good food made up for the minor mishaps. However, there is still room for improvement in terms of service.

When I go out to eat, I want a holistic experience! For example, a Chinese restaurant in a train station hall is a break in style for me. And that's why when I go to a Greek restaurant, I want to get a bit of a holiday feeling back. At PLAKA I have already come close to this ideal. The food was really good, can't complain much. The quantity was generous. Of course, the grill plate was typically meat-heavy and the side salad was mostly filled with boring iceberg. Just right for the average consumer - I would have liked a little less meat and a little more Greek salad. The service staff were friendly, but a bit pushy at first. If two people are sitting at the table, talking and haven't even picked up the menu, you don't need to ask three times. It seemed a little rushed, even though there wasn't so much going on. The ambience in Plaka is something like this: Looking from the outside, I remembered a building ruin that I once saw on Karpathos. But inside it was very tidy. However, I missed the Greek flair a little - just Greek radio and the occasional conversation between the waiters and a few fellow countrymen wasn't enough for me. All in all it was really good. We may come back sometime!

Einfach ein hervorragender Grieche der etwas gehobeneren Kategorie. Da probiert man tatsächlich gerne mal was aus, weil die Küche wirklich gut und das Personal sehr aufmerksam und flott ist. Preis- Leistung absolut in Ordnung. Am Ambiente wurde die letzten Jahre regelmäßig gearbeitet. Parkplatzprobleme gibt es nicht. Ich fahre gerne mal vom Hammer Osten in den Westen, um dort einen netten Abend zu verbringen.

Sehr lecker Speisen haben wir Kellerkinder mit frischen Bier und Schnaps verdrückt 👍Wer einen großen Hunger verspürt, für den ist das Plaka die richtige Adresse 😀 Der Service war top und es war ein unvergessliches Vergnügen 👍

Wir waren am 2 Weihnachtstag zum Essen dort Die Auswahl der Gerichte war nicht eingeschränkt was wir sehr gut fanden Das Essen war sehr gut und lecker Da Weihnachten war haben wir uns nach dem Essen noch ein Desser bestellt Meine Frau und ich hatten uns für Vanilleeis mit heißen Kirschen bestellt Leider waren die Kirschen komplett verkocht Schade dann möchte man sich mal etwas gönnen und dann wird man so enttäuscht

Essen war lauwarm und das bei den Preisen. Es würde was bringen, wenn man Warmhalteplatten und Stövchen nutzen würde. Getränke wurden beim abräumen verschüttet. Keine Entschuldigung, kein Ersatz. Service teilweise Planlos. Es dauerte, bis jemand neue Getränke aufgenommen hat. Menge an Beilagen eher mager. Das war früher, bei den Vorbesitzern, alles mal anders. Echt schade.

Wir waren heute am 1. Feiertag mit 26 Personen dort essen. Nachdem wir frühzeitig darüber informiert wurden, dass sich unsere Reservierung verspäten würde, konnten wir nach einer kurzen Wartezeit vor Ort im Restaurant Platz nehmen. Nachdem Alles geklärt wurde, wurden wir zügig und trotz des großen Stresses durchgehend freundlich bedient. Das Essen war mehr als reichlich und wie immer sehr lecker! Wir kommen definitiv wieder!
