I've been going there for decades. Christmas party and other celebrations held. Everything is fine, again and again.

The food here tastes excellent and the service is very friendly and helpful. In addition, you sit very comfortably without having to wait long. Highly recommended!

Very good food, absolutely recommended!

It was very loud because of a large event and the tables were very narrow for the other guests. When half of our food was forgotten, we had to ask three times where it was. My wife and daughter had long since finished their meal when a quick, undercooked pizza finally arrived. And then when I asked, I just heard an annoyed, yes, you forgot, it happens, which was really sad. That used to be a good shop, I didn't expect anything like that.

We were impressed by the dishes and the service. The price-performance ratio is very appealing and the portions are generous and balanced in terms of components. Despite the many guests, the service was present and the waiting time was reasonable, which was rounded off by our dishes being presented at the same time. We wish the team much success.

Nice Italian restaurant, very authentic. The food was very tasty and the service was also very attentive and professional. Prices are okay. There is a deduction for the toilets, they could be cleaner. Otherwise clear recommendation. We'd love to come back.

Good food in a nice atmosphere, different daily specials, friendly service

Unfortunately bad and extremely overpriced food. Octopus was very crispy to the point of burnt, noodles were extremely aldente and would have easily needed 2 minutes longer. Service extremely slow and far too few staff. Extreme difficulty in understanding and being served the wrong dishes several times. Some only had to ask 30 minutes later when no order came and found out that these dishes weren't even available. Was a total failure.

Good pizza for being abroad, a bit of confusion with the bill and as an appetizer we had asked for bruschetta but they never arrived. Another thing I asked for was the pizza with sausage but I wasn't told that the sausage was with fennel...

The atmosphere of the winter garden is pleasant. The food, which is what matters in a restaurant, is mixed: Convenience products are definitely used here, and the prices are simply outrageous! The pizzas are not recommended, some are matchy and soft right up to the edge. The meat I've eaten so far has been frozen, Ready-made products are used for the sauces. I can't understand all the positive reviews. The service is reasonably hard. I definitely won't go there again, I tried it a few times because of the good reviews, the food was always like in a good canteen. Maybe the ratings come from the presentation on the plate, which is done quite well… When it comes to pasta dishes and pizzas, there are small shops that cook much more delicious food and are cheaper.

Unfortunately disappointing! The ambience is ok...the rest is not. Sorry...I know a lot of Italians who are better! More care in preparing the food would definitely help.

They don't care about allergies at all. My wife specifically mentioned that she is allergic to onions, yet she was served a dish containing onions, even after being assured there were none. The waiter didn't even apologize and made inappropriate jokes at the end. It's no surprise how people could die in restaurants from more dangerous allergies when such irresponsible staff work there.

The pizza pistazzio was close to the one in Italy. Service was extremely nice and authentic.

Again at Dante😀 this time I chose the homemade ravioli with Gorgonzola sauce, simply delicious👍with a small mixed salad and a Lillet. An all-round lovely Sunday meal😀

Always full marks. We've known each other for almost 40 years. I have to say that almost nothing has changed, at least not in the quality of the food and drinks. Anyone who starts working there will do so until retirement age. I love being there.

Even after another recent visit, you can't add anything to the review from back then: it is still a very nice restaurant not far from Charlottenburg Palace. You can sit inside and outside, the winter garden is nice with individually adjustable windows and doors, so that the main street in front of the door is hardly noticeable. You have a view of the park from Charlottenburg Palace and can also watch the sun sink into the park. The food was very tasty, especially the fried anchovies! The staff was very friendly and nice. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not entirely barrier-free and finding a parking space can be difficult. However, bus 109 stops in front of the door. The Spandauer Damm and the Jungfernheide train station are within walking distance (approx. 10-15 minutes)

Eleven of us were at Dante for my wife's birthday. Although Dante was very busy, the service and food were quick. And both the antipasti and the pizzas as well as the pasta were very, very good. And Dante can't help the not-so-nice street in front of the door. If we lived in Berlin, we would eat there more often. PS Photos will come as soon as my actual smartphone is repaired.

For me one of the best Italians in town

The food was very tasty and the service was courteous. Prices are a bit high, but it's worth it. Some of the tables are in front of the restaurant and near the street. But that didn't bother me.

I used to go there very often, now I go there less often, and I think I'll stop altogether. Don't get me wrong, I'm used to people asking after eating if we would like some coffee or maybe something stronger. Apparently our bill was too low today, the tables next to us got the last round, they charged us and that's it. I've been there many times over the last few years, and they always make me feel like they're seeing me for the first time... 😅 Last year, for my birthday, I received a candle placed in gravel, I was shocked... twice before (see, I had nothing to do on my birthday and was going to Dante...) each time it was a beautiful piece of tiramisu with birthday wishes written in chocolate sauce . This was taken care of by a very nice bartender. Last week I asked for a birthday tiramisu for a friend. We never paid extra for it. We just tipped. We got the leftover tiramisu and a piece of chocolate mousse and the waiter charged almost €7. We always tip, but for this? Oh no... It's not a problem that they billed extra for it, times are hard and I understand that, but it was leftover cake! The waiter said it himself... The things that make a person feel special and willing to come back are over. I.e. It's not for everyone, but it didn't happen to us. I used to think Dante was one of the better Italian restaurants, but they have become very average, also with the food... maybe they changed the chef?

Yesterday we were at Dante for the first time. There was Pizza Tonno that was so burnt on the edge that it had to be cut away. And there was Pizza Frutti di Mare which only offered 2 seafood options. A bit disappointing, especially since we waited 50 minutes for it. Guests who came after us received their food before us. After this was noticed, after about 40 minutes we received fresh bread with olives. Our spot in the sun outside was excellent. Nevertheless, we probably won't come again. But all the best😉

Super delicious bread and lasagna

I've eaten here about 10 times in the last 15 years = every time I'm in Berlin. Always enjoy coming here, nice staff and good food. It's definitely worth the money! Very happy again :) hopefully in 2025

Super nice restaurant, the staff is kind and attentive, the drinks (aperol in different ways) are tasty and the food good Italian food! You get bread and olives free of charge, which is fantastic. Recommendation!

We had to get the waiter ourselves to serve us. I ordered a fish platter that actually included potatoes, but I preferred grilled vegetables instead. Was completely forgotten! Otherwise good portions. You can get a nice seat outside even without a reservation. I would like to try it there again. Parking spaces are rare there. Very easy to reach on foot or by bike. The beautiful castle park is right opposite. The service was very nice.

Everything tasted very good. The staff speaks a lot in Italian, which is a feeling. Being Italian strengthens. One negative point is that there are toilets: they have been in need of repair for a long time - 80 years.

Were there yesterday with a group of 12 people and the food and service were good, fast and friendly. The store is getting a bit old, especially in the toilet area. But everything was clean and tidy. I'm rarely in the corner, but I can recommend it.

Overall we thought the restaurant was great. Positive: You are greeted warmly at the entrance and assigned to a table straight away, I would recommend booking! The ambience was nice and the waiters were very friendly and attentive. You get bread and olives on the house as a starter and a schnapps at the end. The food was very tasty and of good quality. Criticism: The pizza was too thin for me personally, so that you only felt like you were eating the toppings, but the toppings were delicious. The time between starter and main course was a bit too long for me. We will definitely come again and this time I will try the pasta.

The food was good. The rest seemed a bit worn out. Toilets are not recommended. Good area that deserves something newer.

I had reserved a table at "Dante" for my birthday. I had read the reviews beforehand and we were not disappointed. I had reserved a table for 7 p.m., but we were there way too early and asked if we could come in. We were greeted warmly and were actually allowed to enter and choose a table. The guest room has a friendly, warm design and there is also a heated winter garden. After a short wait, we received the menus as well as a daily or weekly menu, nicely presented on a small easel at the table. The menu has everything you would want from an Italian restaurant: antipasti, pizza, pasta and great wines and aperitifs. What should be emphasized here is that dishes are offered that are classics of Italian cuisine, but are rarely found on other menus. Examples include “Gnocchi Alla Sorrentina” and “Saltimbocca”. I chose the homemade giant ravioli with “Cime die Rapa” from the weekly menu. We also had the veal liver and homemade ravioli with gorgonzola. Our aperitif was accompanied by a bread basket with fresh, very tasty and crusty bread and olives. It should be mentioned that the table was set very cleanly with real tablecloths and real flowers. For starters we had a salad and an antipasti platter. The salad was very fresh and varied. Everything on the antipasti platter tasted excellent, we found the “Vitello Tonnato” particularly delicious. As for the main courses: the homemade pasta was to die for! The consistency was excellent and the ingredients were very fresh. The liver was also fried to perfection, not tough but super tender. For dessert we had the homemade “Semifreddo”. It really tasted great, the only drawback for me personally was that it came with spray cream. It didn't detract from the taste, but I think that if you already have such great homemade desserts, they don't have to be served with sprayed cream. At this point I would like to emphasize how great the service was. Our pleasant, friendly and neatly dressed waiter looked after us with above-average attentiveness and good care throughout the evening. He was not intrusive and had answers to individual ingredients ready when asked. At the end he offered us a digestive on the house. We paid a total of around 155 euros for three people. This included starter, main course, dessert and drinks. This is an excellent price/performance ratio with a consistently perfect atmosphere. Absolute recommendation, we will be more than happy to come back.

I had dinner here with my colleagues for the 2023 Christmas party. The food was very, very tasty and served very attractively. The restaurant itself is simple & beautiful. If the drinks on site weren't so overpriced & the space between the table and the outside wall ("winter garden") wasn't so cramped, then there would definitely be 5 ⭐️.

Family-owned for over 40 (forty!!) years... and we have been highly satisfied guests there for almost as long. Varied, authentic Sicilian cuisine, good wines... very child-friendly... nothing left to be desired... the price level is okay for the service... make a reservation at the weekend and if there is a larger group, it is also recommended during the week

Unsere Gänsekeule enttäuschend die gefüllten Teig oder Nudeltaschen langweilig also hier stimmt offensichtlich nur noch die Pizza bei mir nun wirklich nicht mehr.

Super Service! Waren mit 9 Kindern zum Kindergeburtstag dort. Der Service war extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war auch sehr lecker. Wirklich sehr empfehlenswert.

Italienisch laut aber überaus herzlich - hier essen wir als Familie wirklich gerne. Der menschliche Service ist überragend...die Pizzas eher durchschnittlich gut aber die Vorspeisen, "echten" Hauptgerichte und Nachspeisen sind über jeden "Italienischen" Zweifel erhaben. Echtes italienisches Flair in Charlottenburg...

Das Dante ist seit Jahren der Lieblings-Italiener meines Mannes und mir! Es hat super leckere Speisen, auf Wunsch auch einen koffeinfreien Espresso und natürlich auch jede Menge andere Getränke. Der Service ist sehr gut, die Kellner sind aufmerksam und flott, die Preise sehr fair. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir gehen hier schon seit über 30 Jahre immer mal wieder essen. Die Qualität ist super.

Wir hatten Muscheln zur Vorspeise (hervorragend)! Als Hauptgericht Lammhaxe mit Bandnudeln und Thunfischsteak mit Kartoffeln. Wir haben selten so hervorragend zubereitete Speisen gegessen. Die Lammhaxe fiel von selbst vom Knochen, Thunfisch war perfekt Medium gegart. Sehr zu empfehlen!!!

Kenne dieses Restaurant schon sehr lange, die Qualität ist immer wieder auf hohem Niveau. Ein Italiener wie man ihn sich wünscht..

Good food nice atmosphere they have indoor outdoor places

Hier wird Service und Zufriedenheit der Gäste groß geschrieben. Eine unserer bestellten Pizzen war leider 1/2 Minuten zu lange im Ofen und schmeckte stellenweise etwas verbrannt. Es wurde sofort reagiert und eine sehr gute Lösung gefunden. Wir waren damit sehr zufrieden. Die Mitarbeiter, das restliche Essen, das Ambiente und die gesamte Atmosphäre hat den Abend für uns sehr angenehm gestaltet. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen und danken nochmals für den schönen Abend in der Pizzeria und Ristorante Dante.

Italy at its best: waiters Italian, ingredients amazing, pizza is like best of Italy, olives and oil smooth, fish made as if you were in mammas kitchen by the sea. Recommended!

Sehr lecker gewesen und haben gute Preise. Aber es liegt direkt an einer stark befahren Straße falls einen das stört gleich ins Restaurant gehen. Mich hat es nicht gestört.

Wir sind öfter hier, der Service ist sehr aufmerksam, das Essen ist ausgesprochen lecker, eine sehr schöne Lage, vor allem im Außenbereich, sehr zu empfehlen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Hier gibt's die meiner Meinung nach beste Pizza Berlins!

Die Speisekarte im Restaurant ist verkürzt – das nur als Vorabinfo. Wer trotzdem erwartet, dass die Auswahl groß ist, wird enttäuscht sein: Es gibt mehr Vorspeisen als Hauptgerichte, wobei viele Gerichte Meeresfrüchte oder Fisch beinhalten. Wenn man diese nicht mag, hat man kaum Auswahl und ist fast gezwungen, von der Tageskarte zu bestellen. Es sei erwähnt, dass man die Karte jedoch auch online finden kann. Wer dies jedoch nicht getan hat, könnte sehr enttäuscht sein. Nicht alle Getränke, die man bestellen kann, sind auf der Hauptkarte verfügbar. Wir haben ungefähr 15 bis 20 Minuten auf unser Essen gewartet, was sehr schnell war. Allerdings war die Lasagne kalt und wirkte sehr lieblos zubereitet – wenn sie überhaupt selbst gemacht war. Immerhin war das Tiramisu recht gut und eine positive Überraschung im Gegensatz zu dem Hauptgang.

Kategorie, Italiener der alten Schule. Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 6 Personen am frühen Abend zum Essen dort. Alle Speisen waren wirklich gut, aber auch nicht erstklassig. Man konnte trotz der viel befahrenen Straße gut draußen sitzen, bei schönem Wetter sollte man aber reservieren. Im Restaurant scheint die Zeit einfach stehen geblieben zu sein. Die Toiletten sollte man besser meiden.
