Best Italian restaurant I've ever visited!

I can't understand the many positive reviews. All pasta dishes come with cream, pizzas with Emmental cheese? Bottles of wine arrive open, and the waiter doesn't even bother to pour, but kindly places two glasses. The food arrives about 15 minutes late, and only after a complaint.

A quaint pizzeria with delicious pizzas. We didn't have a reservation, but we were seated very quickly. The atmosphere was so wonderful, we'd love to come back.

We had the chef's spaghetti. The menu said fish and scampi. But the spaghetti only came with calamari and mussels. When we asked about the fish, we were told it was from the sea and therefore fish. The chef (I think) was still annoyed about the question for a long time afterward. I think there's a difference between pesce and frutti di mare in Italy, too. Otherwise, we were very satisfied.

The pasta was very good. The pizza also looks good. The service and atmosphere were also great. Parking is available nearby and is free after certain hours on weekends. Reservations are recommended on weekends. Restrooms are clean, but very small. The prices are also very good for the good quality.

We were at Pizzeria Alganero today, and what can I say? It was simply fantastic! The fish platter was a real highlight: super fresh, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. You can simply taste the love that goes into the cooking here. The entire team was very friendly and attentive. We felt completely at home and will definitely be back. Absolutely recommended for anyone who appreciates good food and a pleasant atmosphere!

I particularly appreciated the attentive service: The waiters were very friendly and checked several times to make sure everything was okay – you really feel welcome. The prices are also absolutely fair for the quality of the dishes. When the weather is nice, it's worth sitting outside – the outdoor seating is pleasant and inviting. I'd love to come back!

Trattoria Al Gallo Nero – a pleasant Italian stop Beautiful setting with a quiet garden, friendly service and food that won't offend. 🍕 Penne in tomato sauce was tasty, pizza well cooked. Coffee strong as it should be, and the selection of oils on the table was also pleasing.

We were on a trip to Cham and found a nice free table in front of this restaurant. We had pizza and salad and received quick and friendly service; we even got extra garlic and chili oil, and without any comment, we even received packaging for leftover pizza slices. It's a quiet place to sit with a view of the church and rectory (?). If we were in the area again, we would definitely eat another delicious Regina and Formaggi pizza!

I have visited this restaurant twice. On my second visit, I wanted to give the place another chance despite a previous disappointing experience. Unfortunately, the experience continued to fall well short of what one would expect from an Italian restaurant in terms of quality and authenticity of the food. Overall, the dishes were underwhelming - especially the salad, which lacked basic ingredients like herbs or olive oil and was more reminiscent of something you could make yourself at home. The pizza was undercooked, the ingredients were very simple and processed at a rather amateurish level. Overall, the food lacked typical Italian flavor; the whole concept seemed more like an imitation than a real dining experience. Although I have seen many positive reviews, I find it difficult to understand them - even an inexperienced guest would probably find that the level is not convincing. I'm sorry for the restaurant owner, but significant improvements are needed to meet the demands of Italian cuisine.

Went there for lunch today. Small and fine pizzeria. When you walk in, you are immediately greeted in a friendly Italian way. The atmosphere is typically Italian. You feel like you're on vacation. Staff very nice and friendly. We had tomato mozzarella and prosciutto pizza. The taste was very, very good. Price/performance top.

Food was really great. We sat in a side room, right in the middle, which wasn't great, but the good, fast and above all very friendly service together with the great food made me ignore it. Prices were also more than fair! Clear recommendation.

We are visiting Cham and have ordered 2 pizza calzones for this evening. It was otherwise super tasty, but today we are disappointed with the calzones. Totally dry. Both only had cheese, ham, salami with a few mushrooms in it. No trace of the otherwise delicious tomato sauce in it. Unfortunately we are disappointed with the pizzeria today. What a shame!!!!

We were there for the first time today. The waiter was friendly and recommended various dishes to us. We had pizza with roast beef, Rigatoni Gorgonzola, tagliatelle with mushrooms, fish dish.. A large salad as a starter for everyone.. And an extra starter for my son.. The salad came, 4 minutes later the starter.. the starters hadn't been eaten yet , the main courses arrived, which bothered me a bit.. But the food was excellent.. Service was also good.. Price-performance ratio was also great.. Points of criticism were that the food was too quick between the starter and the main course and the tables were a bit too narrow placed. Otherwise everything is perfect...

Het eten was niet verfijnd en niet lekker. Bruschetta Primavera was heel gewoon, geen lekkere mozarella. Als hoofdgerecht lamsvlees aangeraden geweest. Niks speciazls, einig vlees en teveel gebakken.

Charming restaurant but with room for improvement I recently visited this charming little restaurant and although there were some positive aspects, there are also points that should be improved. We didn't have a reservation, but we still got a table, which was nice. The service was initially courteous, but I found the frequency with which we were asked if everything was OK to be a bit excessive. It felt like we were constantly being interrupted, which went against the relaxed dining experience. The food, particularly the rigatoni al forno, was fine – not outstanding, but acceptable for the price. Unfortunately we decided not to order dessert until a little later as we were still full after the main course. However, to our dismay, we were asked to leave even though my glass was still a quarter full. We were not told in advance that the table was limited in time. I found it rude that we were asked to leave in no time (we were only there for 50 minutes, as I looked at the clock), while the guests after us were immediately brought to our table and we had to pay at the front. Like us, these guests had not made reservations. From then on the staff was unfriendly to us. Overall I would say the experience was a mixed bag. However, we doubt whether we will go again.

If you want to enjoy very good fish, you should come here. The best salmon I've ever eaten! Great people, nice restaurant, best food!

Waited 1 hour for 3 pizzas. Then she still didn't come. The neighboring tables ordered after us and received their food before us. Despite repeated requests, no delivery of the food

Went there today because we believed the reviews. We could have saved ourselves the detour. We had 2 sea bass from the grill. One with grilled vegetables and one with salad. The fish were not of the best quality, dry and fatty. Topped with an oily garlic marinade. The fish's own taste was gone. The vegetables and salad were carelessly prepared and served. Rolls made from pizza dough were served, these were cold, probably leftovers from lunch. For us that was just two visits, the first and the last.

Were there for the first time and would love to come back. Food tasted very good and was large. Service very good. Ambiance is little Italy in Cham :)

The waiter's tip, spagetti with fresh mussels, was great as always. The portion is enough to fill you up and the taste is top notch.

The atmosphere is unique and very cozy. Fish is particularly recommended here. Prices are reasonable.

We filled up, like in Italy. Food very tasty, nice staff, attentive and polite. The only thing I didn't like was that the dishes came to the table differently. Nevertheless, I would go there again in a heartbeat because the taste is unique. Price wise completely ok.

Spaghetti all'Amatriciana is just spaghetti with ketchup, 3 tiny pieces of onion and 5 tiny peaces of meat. Don't reccomend

The place is cute little. We liked the old tables. My husband's cordon blue with fries was tasty. My pasta with pesto worked. I would have liked to eat something with fish. I didn't dare because I had already touched sticky vinegar and oil bottles at the table. The menu is huge, the restaurant is small. You have to make your own dressing for the side salad at the table. The portions are large to impossible. Some of the waiters were disinterested after we didn't order an appetizer. Already mentioned that the tables were very small. Then there were supposed to be 4 people sitting there and there were 4 vinegar bottles, an oil bottle, salt, pepper and decorations on the table. Pretty much every free spot on the walls and window sills was also decorated. Oppressive. It's a shame about the beautiful room.

For me personally the best pizza in Cham. Friday evening and with the restaurant full, 2 pizzas ordered and ready for pickup after 20 minutes. And the dough is simply the best. And 10 euros for a full pizza in a large size is a great price these days. P.S. Embarrassingly, I was missing 50 cents that I should have picked up from the car, but that was immediately dismissed as fine. I have to say that.

We know the restaurant from before, when it was still idyllic to eat there. The restaurant was completely overcrowded yesterday, January 27th, 2024, so that others had to get up so that I could get to my seat. It was extremely loud because the rooms were simply overcrowded. When I go out to eat with my family, I expect that we get the meal together and that a dish doesn't come to the table 30 minutes beforehand. For example, a mixed salad should not consist largely of iceberg lettuce, a porcini mushroom pizza should contain porcini mushrooms and it should not be dominated by tomatoes and rocket. On the whole, an evening like this, which I want to enjoy, is torture for me and not worth a cent. My suggestion is to take out some of the tables and tell the customers we are full so that you don't have to pay money for such stress. The ratings were already subpar three years ago and nothing was done.

So gut das man eigentlich schlecht bewerten sollte das es nicht überrannt wird. Alles Top, Sehr gutes Essen durchweg, Preise sehr fair und der Service ist extrem Gut! Bleibt wie ihr seit ich freue mich wenn ich mal wieder in Cham bin werde ich sicher wieder bei euch vorbeischauen!

Bisher die besten Pizzen von Cham.... Keine die von Öl trieft , trotzdem saftig und knuspriger Rand

Der Service vom Chef persönlich, absolute Frechheit! Gestern waren wir zu zweit und ohne Reservierung in diesem Lokal zum Abendessen. Bevor wir uns an den Tisch gesetzt hatten, haben wir die Bedienung gefragt welcher Tisch frei wäre. Der Angestellte sagte, dass der große Tisch reserviert sei, allerdings könnten wir uns den Tisch mit den Gästen teilen oder an einen anderen Tisch wechseln, sobald die Gäste kommen. Als wir Platz genommen hatten, kam der Chef reingestürmt und machte uns den Vorwurf, weshalb wir uns an einen reservieren Tisch gesetzt haben und wurde richtig aggressiv und laut. Er sagte, er ist der Chef und er bestimmt wo wir zu sitzen haben. Er hat uns anschließend an einen Tisch im Flur verwiesen. Ein anderer Angestellte hat sich bei uns entschuldigt und gesagt dass der Chef unter Stress steht weil heute so viel los ist. Dieses Verhalten und dieser Ton vom Chef eines Restaurants ist eine absolute Frechheit. Wenn er nicht mit Stress umgehen kann, dann ist ein Restaurant das falsche Business. Hier war ich einmal Gast und nie wieder.

Richtig lecker zu sehr fairen Preisen! Service sehr gut und gut gelaunt

Sehr gute Pizzen! Personal war sehr freundlich und bemüht und gab eine Flasche Wein obendrauf. Gerne wieder :) Preislich etwas über dem Durchschnitt Die Rigatoni waren lecker und hatten eine schmackhafte Soße. Spaghetti waren etwas trocken und die Speckwürfel waren recht groß, dennoch gut. Penne war schön würzig und kräftig, aber nicht scharf. Cannelloni: Füllung etwas fade und Soße sehr tomatig, aber i.O.

Perfekt, wie bisher immer. Service, Essen, Service. Hatte Vorspeisenplatte Fisch, Tagliata, Primitivo, Grappa. Und nette, freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung.

Wirklich eine sehr gute Pizza, ist sehr groß. Haben unsere leider nicht geschafft, war aber kein Problem den Rest kann man locker mitnehmen

If ever in Cham, Bavaria Germany you must visit this place. Excellent pizza but a lot of real traditional Italian options. Owned and operated by Italians. Do not insult them by asking for German food... other than beer of course. Nice wine selections as well.

wunderschönes kleines italienische Restaurant. (es gibt aber auch ein grosses Nebenzimmer, wenn man mal gross feiern will) im Herzen von Cham, am Spitalplatz. Der Kenner von Cham weiss, dass ein Großparkplatz um die Ecke ist. Eine sehr umfangreiche Karte mit schönen Gerichten. Aber was man unbedingt mal probieren soll sind die Tagesempfehlungen vom Chef. Und frischen Fisch... und die frischen Meeresfrüchte .. und die frische Pasta... man sieht im ersten kleinen Raum in der Kühltheke, welche Leckereien heute angeboten werden... tja und die werden einfach extrem lecker zubereitet. Ich kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen...

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und haben glücklicherweise spontan einen Tisch bekommen, war nämlich ziemlich voll und nach kurzer Wartezeit wussten wir auch warum. Die Pizzen waren prima, Extrawünsche kein Problem, der Service schnell und freundlich.

Wenn ich 6 Sterne vergeben könnte würde ich das machen. Es kommt einem vor als wäre man von einem zum anderen Moment in Italien.

Waren vom 29.08 bis 03.09 in Cham zum Rennradfahren und Welness.Da wir nur mit Frühstück gebucht hatten (ein Glück) waren wir vier Mal und heute gehen wir das 5.mal zum essen dort hin.Einfach super lecker und ein Service einfach traumhaft. Wir hoffen das wir bald wieder nach Cham kommen und dieses wundervolle Restaurant besuchen können. Ein Tipp:Da gibt es das beste Tiramisu das wir je gegessen haben 😚😚

Das Essen wird von unzähligen Fliegen begleitet. Die Bedienung drängt einen zur Bestellung. Spaghetti Gericht hat nach nichts geschmeckt. Unfreundliche Behandlung anderer Gäste.

Das Essen war okay. Nach der Bitte das restliche Essen einzupacken, kam die Bedienung mit Verpackungen, damit wir es selbst am Tisch einpacken. Bei Nachfrage, ob es hier immer so gehandhabt wird, kam die Begründung Corona (Juli/23). Meine kopfschüttelnde Reaktion hat der Bedienung nicht gefallen, so dass er es für nötig hielt nun lautstark und für das restliche Lokal auffallend laut das Essen an unserem Tisch einzupacken. Dabei tutterte er laut und das klirrende Geschirr war im ganzen Lokal zu hören. Was für ein peinlicher Auftritt. Egal, wie gut das Essen hier ist. Das geht garnicht.

Sehr nette kleine pizzeria mit terasse, sehr lecker gegessen, service nicht steif, aber lustig und kompetent. Wir kommen sicher wieder!!!

Eine der besten pizza salate und Nudel in Cham

Italská restaurace v centru Chamu kousek od řeky. Prostředí restaurace je krásné a i sama restaurace. Zaměstnanci velice milí, ochotní. Jídlo bylo výborné, měli jsme pizzu a zeleninový salát. Těsto trochu slabší ale jinak asi jedna z nejlepších, co jsem kdy měla. Rozhodně doporučuji

Man kann hier sehr lecker essen. Die Bedienung sind wirklich sehr freundlich und sehr gut organisiert. Erfreulich war, dass ich kurz vor Küchenschluss während der Woche gerade mal 5 min. auf meine Pizza Margherita gewartet habe, die sehr lecker aus dem Steinofem kam ;-) Ich wurde zudem gut unterhalten von ein paar älteren Stammgästen die gerne gesungen haben und sich dann brav an die Ruhezeiten gehalten haben :-) Bei einem Altstadtbesuch in Cham sehr gut gelegen und ganztägig empfehlenswert.

Ich habe essen geholt zum mitnehmen, die spaghetti carbonara haben nach gar nichts geschmeckt und zwischen den nudeln waren teile einer plastikverpackung!!! Katastrophe

Spaghetti Mare mit besten und frischen Zutaten, sollte nur ein mittäglicher Imbiss werden, es war ein Festessen. Besondere Empfehlung!
