During my one-time visit to this pizzeria in Bad Wimpfen, I was not disappointed. Extremely attentive service, delicious pizza with a thin, crispy crust and not too heavy toppings, fresh, crispy salad, and special requests were promptly fulfilled. Reservations are recommended. The tables were full at lunchtime. The rooms/decor are a bit dated, and could be improved. But all in all, good!

The food was absolutely delicious, whether it was salad, pizza, or prescchetta. The friendly service and cozy atmosphere also contributed to a pleasant stay. We would be happy to come back.

We decided on short notice and went there for the first time. We received a very friendly welcome. The food didn't take long to arrive and was delicious. The service was friendly. We'd be happy to come back.

I think the restaurant is great: the food was delicious and the service was perfect!

The food was truly delicious and freshly prepared – highly recommended. Unfortunately, during our visit, they weren't open to small requests for changes. We would have liked to order a half/half pizza (Margherita for our child and ham and mushrooms for me) – even at the full price of a full ham and mushroom pizza. Unfortunately, this was flatly refused, with the comment that they "didn't even want to get started with special requests." It's a shame, because a little more flexibility would have made the visit almost perfect.

For me, this is the best and tastiest pizza outside of Italy. What a shame I'm only in Bad Wimpfen for one evening. I would definitely come again. Also worth mentioning is the incredibly friendly service.

We went there for the Schlemmerblock (snack bar), but it was the guild market in Bad Wimpfen, and the Schlemmerblock (snack bar) wasn't accepted. We stayed anyway, were hungry, and weren't disappointed! The pizza tricolore and lasagna were delicious 😋😋. The service was friendly and quick, however... (OK, complaining on a higher level, since I learned it in a hotel myself)... The waiter didn't come directly to the table (table 1) to take our order, but asked over a small wall, 😏, my husband got his drink first... Yes, all good, we were at a pizzeria, not a 3-star restaurant. Personally, I would have bought the Schlemmerblock owner two espressos on the house as a small compensation for the Schlemmerblock not being accepted... But no problem, we'll be back because the pizza was absolutely amazing!! Molto gustoso, grazie mille

The restaurant is located right in the old town. Parking is a short walk away, and then it's a short walk to the restaurant. The service is very friendly. They were also very attentive. The child's pizza was brought straight away, sliced, without us having to say anything. Drinks/beers were relatively expensive. The pizza was large and very tasty. I needed to add a little seasoning. The ambiance could use some work.

It was my first time there and I was very satisfied; everything was perfect.

The farfale were still a bit hard, but otherwise good. The fact that they only serve 0.25-liter water is a bit irritating. The fact that the sparkling water costs €3.90 and the non-sparkling one €3.50 is also irritating. The advantage for me: I won't be going there anymore.

Beautifully located in Bad Wimpfen's old town, you can enjoy good food in a pleasant atmosphere. The pizza is impressive – and at a very fair price. The service is also very friendly.

We had actually found our new favorite restaurant and were there today for the 3rd or 4th time and were happy with everything beforehand. The food tasted good, the price was right and the service was poor. But today was not the day to win new regular customers, but to lose them. There were 6 of us there, got a table without any problems and ordered as usual, it took a while but it wasn't really a problem for us, we got the pasta and pizza we ordered and now the turkey schnitzel which was not ordered but a schnitzel, no turkey in front of the schnitzel but schnitzel, unfortunately the staff didn't ask whether it was pork or turkey, just schnitzel and I think if you order schnitzel you should get a pork schnitzel and not turkey. In any case, we complained as usual that it had not been ordered, it was taken back to the kitchen and then it was the beginning of the end, we were loudly and rudely informed that they only serve turkey schnitzel even though it is on the menu as well as pork schnitzel. We insisted on our order because of the unfriendliness. They continued to shout loudly that we could leave if we didn't like it and rudely asked us to leave. From a new favorite restaurant to a restaurant we avoid because someone was having a bad day, which is really unfortunate. In response to your very unprofessional statement and reply, you noted that we are paying customers who, given such unprofessional and unfriendly behavior, would gladly find another restaurant. Where you are served professionally and politely, what they think of me as a customer is their problem and not mine. To avoid being accused of business-damaging behavior or even being threatened with a lawyer, I ask everyone who reads this post to form their own opinion and visit this restaurant.

So my daughter and I went there yesterday for the third time. Twice it was great...service top-notch...food top-notch. But yesterday something seemed to have gotten on her nerves. We ordered schnitzel. Three times...schnitzel. A young man came and brought schnitzel but turkey schnitzel which we hadn't ordered. He went into the kitchen and a woman came out...boss? I don't know exactly. In any case, she said snippy that we as customers had made the mistake of not saying we wanted pork. She turned around angrily and threw the plates around, I don't know, it made quite a noise....I went to her and said that it wasn't our fault and that her staff should have asked...she got loud and so did I and in the end we left without any food...a shame because I wanted to celebrate my birthday...well, at least today I was in a restaurant where I was treated properly as a customer.

I went twice with my mother and sister (actually the third time today), and the woman was so nice the first two times, but today she freaked out just because of a service error and yelled at us for doing something wrong. As an employee, you should stay calm and not throw things around and immediately get loud. Actually, everything was so great there, but today's incident ruined it. If you had a bad day or week, whatever, it doesn't excuse the incident because no matter how bad something was with the customer, you have to stay nice. Best regards

We had to wait a very long time (an hour), and at least three tables that arrived after us were served before us, some of whom had already finished their starters and main courses by the time we got our two pizzas. If the waitress had warned us that it might take longer, or at least communicated with us once during the hour, we might have been more understanding. The drinks were barely carbonated, the pizzas looked good but unfortunately weren't well seasoned, so we both had to add more salt. The ambiance is okay, but it can't save the rating if the food and service aren't up to scratch.

After visiting the market with friends, I spontaneously stopped in for pizza. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The table was clean. All the pizzas were delicious.

We've been here several times now with several people (5+). The food was always good, and the servers were always polite. Unfortunately, the owner seems rather unpleasant and snooty, considering the shop consistently generates good sales.

Very tasty food, super-tasty pizza sticks (definitely try them! :)). Some vegetarian dishes too. A cozy atmosphere in the old city center. Service was really attentive and friendly. Highly recommended! :)

We went there by chance because of a special treat. Even though we couldn't redeem it because of the holiday, we were thrilled with the service and food. When the manager told us about the White Night, we spontaneously booked two tables. The service and food were fantastic there, too. We definitely recommend it.

We ate a delicious vegetarian pizza there. We had a very comfortable outdoor seating. The service was good.

Hello everyone, first of all, I'd like to say that we went there with a bit of a queasy feeling on May 17, 2025, with a 4.1-star rating, to see for ourselves. First of all, it's a really nice little pizzeria in the old town, in a small half-timbered building. Back then, everything was smaller than it is today, so it's small and cozy. Regarding the service, we were served by Erwin, and the rest of the staff were also very nice and friendly. For dinner, we had an appetizer, a salad, lasagna, and a pizza. Everything was very good and served fresh and delicious. There were no questions or complaints about the reservation or redeeming the Schlemmerblock. It's also worth mentioning that you should mention the Schlemmerblock when making a reservation or taking a seat. It's even stated in the block and applies to all restaurants listed here. We were very satisfied and can wholeheartedly recommend the San Valentino and will definitely stop here again when the opportunity arises. We're giving it 5.5 stars to compensate for the unfair 4.1 stars. Best, M&M

Were here in the city and stopped there. We had two pizzas, two non-alcoholic wheat and two coffee drinks. The quality and service were top notch. Priced fairly and reasonably. We are very satisfied with it and give it a 100% recommendation 👍😊

We were in Bad Wimpfen for the first time and wanted to have a relaxed and not too opulent dinner in the old town atmosphere. The San Valentino was a hit: fantastic pizzas, one of which had a well-sized children's portion, fast, extremely friendly service - and all of this, as we noticed as we left, despite the large "closed company" in the restaurant inside. We were definitely not here for the last time!

I travel around Germany a lot, but it's definitely one of the three best pizzas I've ever eaten. Always my pleasure

Service staff as read in other comments Patzig. It is very important to register your gourmet block in advance and do not tear it out yourself! Is very important to the service person. Otherwise it doesn't count. Lasagna Watery and salty at the same time. Calzone is only partially good. Dough was undercooked and not served hot.

We came without a reservation and were happy to get a table! The smell of oregano lured us in, the other guests' pizzas also looked good, but: The salad we ordered was terrible! Dried, soft and old cucumber slices, only the carrots tasted fresh. Very, very unfortunate! A piece of bread with the salad would have been available for an extra 5.50, I've never experienced that at an Italian restaurant! I ordered farfalle and was given penne without comment - I understand if something is off, but if you bring the guest pasta that they don't like without asking, it's just not nice. The sauce was ok and definitely could have been fun with other pasta! Lasagne is certainly a matter of taste, it wasn't dry here, in fact there was no béchamel to be found under the thick layer of cheese, but a soup that was unfortunately too watery for us. We were very happy about the free table and if we had ordered a pizza, we might have left happier…

Overall everything was great! Friendly staff

The pizza was ok, pretty large, but nothing special. Its toppings felt dry without strong adhesion to the dough. Unfortunately the knives are too thin, making it difficult to cut the pizza, as they bend when cutting into the crust. The atmosphere was nice.

I had carbonara and they were the worst I've ever had. The egg set and overall little taste. There are pasta dishes here that fill you up, but have nothing to do with an Italian restaurant.

The grilled shrimp and the salad with turkey strips were very tasty.

Came here because of the voucher book. Had two delicious pizzas, the Pizza Siziliana and the Pizza Prosciutto Salami, where we ordered spicy salami instead of normal salami. We found the dried herbs on the pizzas a bit annoying, but that's a matter of taste. The boss was very friendly and everything was served quickly. The decor is nice and the lighting is very appropriate and pleasant, there is also music playing. Only the chairs could be more comfortable, they are noticeably sagging, which makes you feel like you are sitting on the wooden frame of the upholstered chair. The prices are cheap for the size of the pizzas. There are paid parking spaces along the street, but they are very cheap (at the time of the review, one hour was about 50 cents - 1€) We can recommend the restaurant and would come again if we lived nearby.

Food and service top. Ambiance only 4 stars because you can quickly only find space at the entrance door in the small, cute restaurant. I'd love to have a big, great pizza again.

One of the best pizzas we've eaten recently. The salad was super fresh and crunchy. Unfortunately the dressing was a bit too acidic for us. The drinks could be a little colder.

Very unfriendly staff, complaints are not treated with understanding and you are just insulted when you leave. Knives are partially broken (fall into 2 pieces when eating). Quality of the food is unacceptable and the over 10€/pizza is definitely not worth it. Hours after eating, it still talks to you about what was definitely not a pleasant memory of the restaurant visit! There is also constant smoking in the entrance area (by staff and guests), which is why you always walk through the smoke when you want to come in from outside and vice versa.

The cream soup with broccoli is excellent. I also liked good service. I recommend this pizzeria to everyone.

Unfortunately the owner was very rude and unfriendly. We put together two tables outside because there were 6 of us. The boss told us that this wasn't possible because it was unfair to other guests. ??? There are extra larger tables in the interior area for several people. At the other end there were six Italians who had no problem putting the tables together 🤔. The order was taken with annoyance. The meal took a very long time, even though only three tables were occupied. The food was simply put in front of us without “enjoy your appetite” or anything else. The dressing was saved on the Mista salad. Accordingly, he was dry. The pizzas were very tasty. We would have liked to eat delicious pizza there more often in the future. But since we were treated so unkindly, we won't be coming back.

I can only recommend Pizzaria San Valentino to everyone. I had the Pizza Roma and I was very satisfied. My friend also had pizza with seafood that was really tasty 😋 My husband and his sister are schnitzel fans and they were also very satisfied. The schnitzel is fresh and is also freshly prepared in the pan, the fries are also made from fresh potatoes, which unfortunately you can hardly find in a restaurant anymore and are also really tasty. The service is very friendly and you immediately feel welcome! Price performance is more than appropriate. If you want to eat well in the old town of Bad Wimpfen, you MUST go to Pizzaria San Valentino!

Was on the way. I ordered the pizza over the phone, but it tasted good. Next time I will definitely order there again. I would have liked to have received more information about dishes that could be ordered.

Das Essen war nicht nur sehr gut und preiswert, sondern die Servicekraft war sehr zuvorkommend! Unsere Tochter hatte nämlich Ihren Ohrring im Restaurant verloren. Am nächsten Tag wurde der Ring wieder gefunden und die Kellnerin hat ihn uns netterweise per Post geschickt. Großes Lob für so eine außergewöhnliche Kundenfreundlichkeit und vielen Dank für die Mühe!

Atmosphere : Ok Service: Delivered first course with second course. Food: Bruschetta is a pizza? Spaghetti Aglio Olio tasteless and overcooked. Pizza looked ok.

Die Pizza mit gegrilltem Gemüse ist sehr empfehlenswert. Die Salate sind sogar noch besser. Sehr nette Servicekraft, die mit ihrer offenen Art unsere Kinder direkt in ihr Herz geschlossen hat.

Der Salat und die super knusprige Pizza waren sehr sehr lecker. Die Pizzasticks zum Salat haben uns positiv überrascht. Ein Besuch ist hier absolut Empfehlenswert!

Das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Gerade die Bruschetta war sehr gut. Personal sehr freundlich. Draußen sitzt es sich sehr schön. Preislich sind knapp 40€ für zwei Mahlzeiten inklusive Vorspeise und Getränken in Ordnung.

Kleines italienisches Restaurant in der Altstadt von Bad Wimpfen. Pizza war sehr gut. Die Nudeln sind gut allerdings waren die Tortellini nicht selbstgemacht. Preislich war es auf jeden Fall ok. Das Restaurant ist sehr klein und einfach eingerichtet. Alles in allem ein gutes kleines, preiswertes Restaurant.

Wir waren auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt und wollten etwas essen. Die Auswahl und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ließ uns dann in diese Pizzeria gehen. Die Entscheidung war goldrichtig. Wir aßen Spaghetti. Sie waren sehr schmackhaft und es war ausreichend viel. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.
