Pizzeria Salento in Landstuhl

We visited Pizzeria Salento with our six students from SFMG Landstuhl for the end-of-school-year celebration – and received a truly wonderful welcome! The entire team was incredibly warm, attentive, and respectful. Our students were treated with such warmth – it touched us deeply. The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, lovingly prepared, and delicious! The students even got to watch the pizza chef make the pizzas! A place where you feel completely at home. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts, highly recommend Pizzeria Salento, and would love to come back! 💛🍕

From start to finish, this Italian pizzeria and restaurant delivered a flawless dining experience. The moment we walked in, despite not having a reservation (which I would strongly suggest), we were greeted with warm, attentive service that made us feel right at home. The food? Simply incredible. Every dish was bursting with authentic Italian flavor — the pizza was perfectly crisped with a chewy, flavorful crust and the freshest toppings you could ask for, and so far it’s one of the best pizzas we’ve ever had. You can tell the pizza maker takes real pride in his craft. But the showstopper? The pistachio tiramisu. We’ve had tiramisu in Italy and nothing has ever come close to this. It was rich, creamy, and completely unforgettable. If you’re looking for genuine Italian cuisine with top-tier service and a dessert you’ll be dreaming about for days, this is the place. Can’t wait to come back!

We had a party of 10 people there. Everyone enjoyed the food. The staff were very friendly and competent.

We met the boss and his lovely wife at another restaurant—which was really fun 🥳😊🤭 After we figured out where his restaurant was, my girlfriend and I decided to go there too. No sooner said than done, and it was amazing! Whether it was a pasta dish, salad, meat, or pizza—we were thrilled. And this won't be our last visit—we'll be back 👍🥰

Unfortunately it wasn't possible to get a place because it was fully booked. So reserve in advance 😉. Ordered a pizza to take away which took a while. However, it was worth it. Damn delicious 😋

On our way to Austria we had dinner in this pizzeria. Delicious food! Italian pizzas according to the rules of the art. Thin, crispy crust and nicely balanced toppings. Very friendly owners. We imagined ourselves in Italy for a moment. In short, highly recommended!

A very nice, well-kept restaurant. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food tasted really great. Unfortunately, the portion shocked me. I'm actually not a person who devours huge portions, but 6 croquettes for the schnitzel is quite a bit 🙈. I would like to be full when I go out to eat😅. The prices are too high for that, maybe you should work on it a bit🤪

Our favorite Italian spot. We just happened upon this place and we would always drive by and see that it was crowded and now we know why. The food is exceptional with a great ambience. The staff is most wonderful as they are attentive to your needs. It does get quite busy but you do not feel rushed as if they want to fill the table with other guest - quite the opposite. Staff want you to feel relaxed and enjoy!

Love the food and the aesthetic overall. Everything feels quality in this place. The Fettuccine Salmon and the Steak are so good.

As someone who isn’t a big fan of Pizza, the Pizzeria Salento happened to be one of the select few exceptions. Everything about the place is exceptional. From the personnel, location, meal selection, to the view of the street. The only ding worth mentioning is eating not far from their oven. Other than that, go have fun and make memories.

Our large group had an amazing time this weekend. Definitely make a reservation! We had caprese, pizza, pasta, etc. It was all delicious and the owner/manager was so friendly. We will definitely be back!

We have lived in the Ramstein area twice for a total of six years. Of all the great restaurants in the area, this is one of the best! The food is simply excellent in every category. The specials are always interesting, fresh and delicious. The normal menu items are also very, very good. And the pizza... just amazing! I love the crust. And to top it all off, the Italian owner is a really great guy!

Excellent food and service. My only complaint is that they don’t have a diaper changing station, I had the hardest time with my daughter.It’s weird to me to go to a place nowadays where they don’t have a diaper changing station, for that only reason I won’t go back unless I take out.

Everything is fine, except for the background noise. When it's full you can no longer have a conversation. Too bad.

Great pizza and pasta. I had the pasta with salmon. Amazing! My friends had various pizzas and an Alfredo pasta. They all raved about their food. Wine selection was limited to Italian wines, and my Primitivo (Zinfandel) and Chianti Classico were quite good. Desserts were also excellent. I had all that for 34 Euros.

Sehr nettes Personal. Sehr aufmerksam. Die Pizza aus dem Holzofen, war lecker, gut gewürzt und groß. Der Wirt hat uns noch eine Exkursion in die Welt des Crappa gegeben. Alles in Allem, ein angenehmes Essen.

Amazing place to eat a traditional pizza. The owner and staff are very friendly, the atmosphere is very enjoyable and by sitting outside you have a look towards the forest. Just keep in mind that the waiting time might be a bit longer if you go on a busy day since quality service appears to be standard in this place.

Toller Chef, der mit lockeren Sprüchen eine Familiäre Stimmung schafft und gute Laune versprüht. Schickes gepflegtes und gemütliches Restaurant mit schöner Aussenterasse und Parkplatz vor der Tür. Odyssey mit Happy End. Am Ende unserer Cabrio Tour wollten wir noch Essen gehen. Das erste Lokal war geschlossen, Öffnungszeiten Vor-Ort Fehlanzeige, Daten in Google falsch. Das zweite "offene" Restaurant gab es dann gleich gar nicht mehr, dass Dritte hätte normalerweise offen, leider hatte sich der Koch krank gemeldet. Dann in der Pizzeria gegenüber abgeblitzt. Dann das Salento angesteuert. Was ein Glück, dass die anderen Lokale zu hatten. Tolles Ambiente, super nettes Personal, eine der besten Pizzen, die ich nördlich der Alpen je gegessen habe und auch die Nudeln lecker. Auf jeden Fall kommen wir wieder.

Keine Ahnung warum das Restaurant so viele positive Bewertungen hat. Wenn das wirklich die beste Pizza in Landstuhl ist tut mir die Stadt sehr leid. Service? Na ja. Der Chef meint er wäre lustig und redet viel zu viel. Aber so hat jeder einen anderen Geschmack und Niveau.

Guter Italiener. Habe wirklich mal nichts auszusetzen. Der Inhaber hat uns bedient, nimmt sich wirklich Zeit und kann einen gut beraten. Als Hauptgericht hatte ich Nudeln combinazione. Sehr lecker und gut gewürzt. Als Nachtisch hatte ich Tartufo. Das war sooo lecker. Keine Ahnung, ob es hausgemacht war. Einfach nur gut, auch die Anrichte. Komme bestimmt wieder.

Great NY style crust cooked perfectly and not burned like other wood oven pizzas. Be sure to confirm that when u order pepperoni as one of your toppings in a build your own pizza (outside of the normal menu) that they understand you want meat (i.e salami) or else they will give u cut up green pepperochini. Disappointed but otherwise my veggie pizza (had mushrooms, jalapenos, and extra cheese) was good. Cut in 4 large pieces so u can fold it like a NY pizza.

Mein absoluter Lieblingsitaliener. Habe hier noch nie etwas gegessen, was nicht geschmeckt hat. Hatte dieses Mal Vitello Tonnato und die Pizza Roland. War wie gewohnt sehr lecker. Die Pizzen werden im Steinofen gemacht. Den Salat kann ich hier ebenfalls sehr empfehlen. Neuerdings kann man auch draußen sitzen. Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam.

Me and a group of friends decided to try this place out cause we wanted to see if the pizza could measure up to pizza places where we are from and omg the pizza was amazing we all want to go back.

Hervorragende italienische Küche! Pizza aus dem Steinoffen, immer frisch gemachte Pasta und zudem eine ständig wechselnde Tageskarte. Preise für die Qualität mehr als gerechtfertigt. Der Besitzer hält sich für witzig, aber echt ein guter Service. Meiner Meinung nach der beste Italiener in unserer Umgebung!

Absolutely great Italian restaurant with great food. The atmosphere is great, and feels very welcoming. The waiter sat down with us and explained each of the specials in detail. And the food was DELICIOUS. I got the seafood risotto and wow was it great. 10/10, and probably my new go to for Italian with my girlfriend.
