Took pizza to pick up and it went quickly

Unfortunately, the noodles were still pretty hard and nothing special, the ingredients weren't very well balanced and generally not 'restaurant quality'. The portions were still very large. We didn't have any pizzas, so we can't say anything about that. The ambience was still quite nice and the park situation was good too. Unfortunately we wouldn't go there again.

Our order was only taken after 20 minutes and we then waited another 2 hours for our food, even though we had reserved. Apparently completely overwhelmed. In the end, the food was pretty average.

Not 3.9 stars but 5 stars! I was initially concerned about the previous reviews and I have to say - we're glad we formed our own opinion! Super friendly staff with Italian charm. We were always served in a friendly and courteous manner. The salad was good as expected, the pizza was really very tasty. We will definitely come back next time we are in Oberstaufen, because here the guest is not a number, but a person. Greetings to “Forza Patrone” (-:

A warmly run restaurant that reflects Italian hospitality. Very good advice and the food is also very good. Coordinated dishes and the presentation is very good. Like in Italy, the atmosphere is warm and friendly. Happy to recommend and linger over an espresso or good food. Keep it up and I'll be happy to stop by often

Very clean rooms, good service and top pizza, gladly again.

The two of us were there for dinner on December 28th, 2024. We each ordered an appetizer, which was ok. Unfortunately, the respective main courses were served shortly after the starter (soup) was served. We pointed out that the main courses would probably be cold by the time we finished the starter. The waiter apologized briefly, but didn't respond to our complaint any further and left straight away. The quality of the main courses (pizza and pasta) was not adequate in terms of price/performance ratio. Conclusion: once and never again

Italian canteen! For the prices you get much better food in Oberstaufen. The owner is even unfriendly than the staff, we waited over an hour and a half for our food and there were no special requests!

I had the best pizza there in a long time!

I was there three times from December 31st, 2024 to January 2nd, 2025. I am very enthusiastic, highly recommended. The kitchen is alive, you can hear the boss and cook, as you should, full of emotion. As a Croatian, I love it when my heart is boiling. I'll definitely come back with pleasure. Plates are out of the kitchen in 5 minutes. Overpriced, you can see that certain people only buy packaged goods and no longer have the price reality in mind. Next time you cook for yourself, stay at home.

I love it there so much... that I always have to go there every time I visit Oberstaufen. A must for everyone....anyone who likes to eat Italian.... Everything was great....fish, mussels....fantastic. Owner sooooo welcoming....always happy!

Despite reservations, we waited 1.5 hours for our food and we didn't order anything out of the ordinary. Many tables around us whose guests arrived later received food before us. Quality below average, prices overpriced (gnocchi filled with cheese €22). Boss very unfriendly and not accommodating. After pointing out our waiting time, he got mushy and said: it's busy and they only have two hands. We were very annoyed and can't recommend the restaurant at all

I had scampi with noodles, slightly spicy but unfortunately no taste. The pasta was aldente. The service friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, I couldn't pay with my cell phone because a physical card is taxed differently than the one on the cell phone. So I had to get my card and come back. Very unpleasant. There is also an uncomfortable lighting atmosphere in the guest area, but it could be a bit more comfortable. All in all a pleasant visit

I ordered pasta...no seasoning at all in the dish...also the portion of a handful of pasta is simply ridiculous, and the whole thing for 15 euros...a disgrace. Unfortunately I can't recommend ordering, it's a rip off!! BC

Food was great, pizza comes from the wood-fired oven, the dough was super tasty. Friendly service, everything went quite quickly and we were asked about our well-being every now and then. At the end there was a grappa on the house. Thank you!

We loved this restaurant. It offers everything you would expect from a good "Italian". The menu is very rich. The pizza comes from the stone oven and the pasta dishes are perfect. Not to mention the fresh salads and Italian starters. Special requests are no problem. The service leaves nothing to be desired. The terrace offers plenty of space. And inside it is typically Italian furnished. We were actually on holiday in the Allgäu, but felt like we were in Italy. The next evening we went straight back and didn't regret it.

Staff unfortunately completely overwhelmed and understaffed, waiting time for pizza of more than 1.5 hours was unreasonable. Terrace not really lit in the evening. The pizzas were okay and the price was appropriate for the region. No card payment. What remains is the impression of mass instead of class. Unfortunately no recommendation.

Tuna salad for €12.90 consisted of 6 lettuce leaves, 2 cocktail tomatoes stuffed with 2 olives, onions and of course tuna. Size wasn't even the size of a side salad. Pizza rolls were also missing. Pizza also poorly seasoned. Not recommended for at home!!!

The food was very tasty and any special requests were catered for. You can order pasta and pizza as children's portions for 9.90, but they are still quite large. Price-performance ratio was good (especially since the other restaurants in town are even more expensive). Next to the terrace there is a trampoline, 2 swings and a slide so that the children can keep themselves busy while waiting for food. Unfortunately, that was necessary because it took a long time until you got the card, could order and then the food came. The staff seemed very stressed and overworked. Then there was a very loud argument between a guest and the boss because of discrepancies when paying, in which the boss showed unacceptable behavior.

Ordered pizza to take away. While eating it was discovered that there were also 2 unwanted “toppings”. On the one hand, there was tuna on the pizza, which wasn't part of it, and on the other hand, there was a large piece of plastic (separating film from the ham) on it. 30€ for a Margherita with corn and a Quattro Stagtione is really a lot, if it doesn't even taste good it's outrageous.

If you don't know this restaurant, you've missed the world! No lie, the best Italian between Lake Constance and Milan. I stopped here as a cycling tourist and was simply exhausted. A menu that leaves nothing to be desired, a staff right up to the boss who absolutely understand their craft of gastronomy. Price/performance in an absolutely, slightly superior context, absolutely top. Plus a beautiful location with an idyllic outdoor terrace. My tip to all holidaymakers in this region: Definitely go there and drink delicious food and delicious wine. It's rare that so many things are true, so actually 11 out of 10 points!!!!!

We had a salad and a pizza. The pizza was good. The salad consisted almost exclusively of green lettuce and 4 tomatoes, which I didn't find that amazing. Especially not at that price. It all took a very long time before any service even came.

The antipasti were unfortunately subpar: seafood salad with sometimes huge chunks of squid (sometimes over 7 cm long), then again tiny pieces. Everything became sour, so the other ingredients on the plate were also affected. Contrary to the menu, the bruschetta came gratinated with grated cheese (I assume Emmental?!). The pizzas are very thin, which is a matter of taste. The surface is normal. There were 5 of us there and we tried 4 different desserts. We didn't like the panna cotta at all. The tiramisu was OK. The rest were ice cream sundaes a la banana split or based on Coup Denmark. Unfortunately, only the ready-made cream was used for the ice cream sundaes. In total we paid over 230€ for the evening (5 people), two starters, 4 pizzas, 1 pasta dish, 4 desserts and 1 bottle of house wine —> 46 per person. All in all, the price-performance ratio is not right here. I would recommend a maximum of one pizza to pick up here. The only plus point is the wood stove. Contrary to many reviews, the owner was very friendly.

I'm doing a mother-child treatment here and was at the Pizzeria Limone. Service was very friendly, food came very quickly. The pizzas are prepared in a stone oven and were amazing, really tasty, thin base. My kids were so excited that I had to order a second pizza. We'll definitely come again

My absolute favorite pizzeria in town! I love the pizzas but the other dishes are also delicious. I often eat there or order a pizza and they are usually ready quickly and, above all, always equally good. The service is good, especially the bosses are super nice and warm. We recommend!

Can't understand the mediocre reviews. A great loka. Were in Oberstaufen for the second time and in Limone for the second time. The staff is very, very friendly and the food tastes absolutely great. We had mussels, salad and pizza. I haven't eaten such delicious pizza in a long time. It was well topped, nice and hot and the edges and base were really crispy. The innkeeper was very friendly and funny. We observed that many locals picked up food. One thing is certain for us: we will be back. We wish the Limone team continued success and joy in cooking.

We called and ordered two pizzas to pick up. The gentleman on the phone was extremely friendly and the pizza arrived within 15 minutes. ready for pick up. The restaurant looks very cozy. Unglaublich. Wir hatten 25 Pizzen zum abholen bestellt. Als die Pizzas an die Leute verteillt wurden, stellte sich raus, dass 8 Pizzen falsch waren. Statt den ertwarteten Pizzen wurden nur ganz einfache Tomate Mozzarella gemacht. Im Ergebnis sind es 8 x 1-2 Euro pro Pizza zuviel bezahlt und riesen Enttäuschung bei den Personen die sich z. B auf eine feurige Diavolo gefreut haben, denn die mussten jetzt die fade Tomate-Mozzarella essen. Das ist aber noch nicht alles. Wenn ich schon den überzogen Preis von 14,- € für eine Pizza bezahle, dann erwarte ich aber auch eine vernünftige Pizza und nicht so eine Abzocke wie es hier der Fall ist. Auf ca. 3-4 cm vom Rand nach innen war nicht einmal mehr Tomatensoße drauf. Dann kam Tomatensoße, aber immer noch kein Belag. Es sind vom Rand nach innen ca. 7cm trockener Pizzateig mit vertrockneter Soße bis der Belag kommt. Wir hatten einen halben Müllsack voll mit unkaubaren trocken Rand der wegeschmissen werden musste. Wir reden hier immer noch von einer 14,-€ Pizza. Für den Belag soll sich der Betreiber aber richtig schämen. Es waren auf der gesamten Pizza 4 halbe Cocktailtomaten und ungefähr 1,5 kleingezupfte Blätter Basilikum. Ein WITZ, schämen soll sich der Betreiber für so eine ABZOCKE.

Eravamo in 4 e abbiamo mangiato 3 pizze ed un antipasto misto e per dessert 3 panna cotte ed un tiramisù . Tutto molto buono e fresco e tutto servito dal proprietario in persona, persona cordiale e gentile e molto simpatica. Ciao Neim a presto.

Haben schon das ein oder andere Mal Essen geholt und auch einmal vor Ort gegessen. Die Preise für die Gerichte finden wir teilweise überzogen, weswegen wir auch nicht öfter dort bestellen oder essen gehen. Die Gerichte schmecken gut, aber besonders finden wir sie nicht. Parkplätze hat es direkt vor dem Restaurant und man kann im Sommer auch auf der schönen großen Terrasse sitzen. Zum Service können wir nicht viel sagen aber vier Ort waren wir nicht besonders zufrieden. Das Ambiente ist okay, man könnte aber durchaus mehr aus dem Restaurant machen! Für zwischendurch für uns okay.

Wir sind abends spontan zum essen gegangen und hatten gerade noch Glück, einen freien Tisch zu ergattern. Nach den doch eher negativen Bewertungen war ich sehr positiv überrascht! Die Holzofenpizza war wirklich sehr lecker! Ich hatte eine Quattro Formaggi die mehr als üppig mit Käse bedeckt war! Die Wirtsleute waren sehr freundlich und gut gelaunt, obwohl der Landen rappelvoll war. Gefühlt wurden während wir da waren 50 Pizzen abgeholt und trotzdem war unser Essen in 20 Minuten da. Mein Fazit freundlich, bodenständig und lecker, jedenfalls was die Pizza betrifft! Mehr haben wir ( noch) nicht getestet.

Die Bedienung und das Ambiente sind wirklich toll und lädt zum verweilen ein. Das Essen schmeckt gut und ist in Ordnung. Für fünf Sterne fehlt das gewisse etwas. Mit einem Besuch macht man nichts falsch und kann empfohlen werden

Wir betreten das Lokal und schon wird man sehr freundlich in Empfang genommen. Personal aufmerksam. Essen fürs Auge und für den Gaumen einfach nur genial. Beim bezahlen gibt's noch ein Getränk aufs Haus ( man darf sogar wählen).Ich komme auf jeden Fall immer wieder gerne.

Sehr schönes Lokal wie sagt man klein aber fein wir wurden herzlich in Empfang genommen und es war auch kein Problem das unser Hund dabei war sehr gutes Essen und freundliches Personal und was ich sehr schön fand der Chef ist persönlich für all seine Gäste da immer ein nettes Wort für jeden Gast als wir dort waren rundum ein Lokal zum empfehlen danke für soviel Freundlichkeit und leckeres Essen und für die Kinder steht eine schaukel und ein kleines Trampolin im Garten den auch Kindern sind den Italiener wichtig hier paßt einfach alles nur zu empfehlen

Das Essen war hervorragend, wir haben etwa 10 Minuten gewartet. Die Pizza war groß, reichlich belegt und hatte den typischen Holzofengeschmack. Der Salat war groß und reichlich, das Dressing passte wunderbar dazu und war sehr lecker! Zum Schluss gabs sogar noch Grappa aufs Haus. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis super, vielen Dank, wir kommen wieder!

Nach einer langen Motorradtour haben wir und auf ein leckeres Essen gefreut. Leider wurden wir enttäuscht. Wir hätte wohl auf die Bewertungen hier hören sollen. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis war nicht angemessen. Der Tunfischsalat bestand aus drei Salatblätter und einer haben Dose Tunfisch und die Pasta mit Spinat/Sahnesauce bestand aus TK Spinat mit „Bechermehlsauce“. Sahne habe ich keine gesehen oder geschmeckt. Die Nudeln waren mehr als bissfest. Die Pizza war OK aber nicht den Preis wert.

Bedienungen sind freundlich. Nudelplatte für zwei: Tortellini wie bei Norma im 2Jahres Haltbarkeitspack serviert. Rigatoni und Tagliatelle waren ok. Die Soßen waren lecker. Gemischter Salat ok. Muss man halt selbst anmachen. Wenn man zum Italiener essen geht erwartet man etwas mehr. Preise durchschnittlich.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist nicht angemessen. Portionen waren bei uns eher klein und vergleichsweise teuer. Auch die Getränke fallen definitiv im Vergleich zu anderen Lokalen negativ auf Espresso 3,20 als kleines Beispiel. Auch die Abrechnung wurde uns erst bei Nachfrage ausgehändigt und die Tagesempfehlung auch noch teurer als angeboten abgerechnet.

Saubere Gaststätte mit großen Terrasse unter Sonnenschirme. Kleiner Spielplatz mit integriert. Große Karte, für alle was dabei. Parkplätze vor der Tür. Bedienung flott u d freundlich. Sehr angenehm.
