Tasty pizza, very good price-performance ratio. Service is attentive, quick and polite.

The staff are very friendly and attentive. However, I didn't particularly like the pasta. However, the prices are cheap.

Yesterday we were in this restaurant for the first time. Unfortunately also the last time! Pizza was ok. The carpaccio (meat) was definitely older...far too thick and already a brown color on the back! The steak was chewy like chewing gum The fries were fried twice and just hard as a rock! Simply annoying when you pay around €100 for something like that! Unfortunately, no more visits from our side.

The pizza was super tasty. I will definitely eat out more often.

A really great shop when it comes to large and delicious pizzas! The quality of the food is top and the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. We even got a spot on a Friday evening without a reservation - a real plus! The atmosphere is cozy and the price-performance ratio is absolutely right. Its my first time in this place and the experience was not great at all. Im putting 2 stars in the service bc of the man who assisted us, wasnt nice at all, some of us had an especial request with the condition of the steak (médium) and it came durch and we complaint about it but the man didnt accept it, he Just say the Steak ist like that. The other 2 women were amazing. On top of that, I ordered pollo a la griglia. It costed 16 euro for 100-120g!! And very small portion of chips ( pommes). I know its my first time so if I ever come back id change the review in case I get a better experience.

Actually everything is good, but... Popular Italian restaurant in the city, always quite busy, so make a reservation. Pizzas good but like all dishes very mildly seasoned (you should keep this in mind when ordering) The service is friendly and fast (especially in the front part of the restaurant, further back you will be forgotten) Well suited for a visit to the restaurant without a special occasion. Not recommended outside in summer.

Unfortunately, all of the dishes were hardly seasoned. Vegan pizza didn't taste good at all, which was due to the vegan cheese. However, the staff was very friendly and competent. In addition, the atmosphere was very inviting.

We visited the Christmas market. We hadn't made a reservation and as a family of 3 we were already directed to 4 restaurants. Giuseppe's service made everything possible for us to get a place. The food was excellent. Unfortunately, I mistranslated the menu for my daughter and my daughter had different expectations of the food. Here too, everything was made possible to meet the child's expectations. One thing is certain for us: on the next visits to Trier, only Giuseppe will be there

I ordered the food to be delivered and it came in 2 hours and the pizza wasn't snowed and I also ordered fries extra but there were fries on the pizza.

Abgesehen von den langen Lieferzeiten auch noch ein Haar im Essen gehabt und die Gerichte waren total geschmacklos. Und das ist leider nicht das erste mal der Fall. Wir werden dort sicherlich nicht wieder bestellen oder hin gehen !

Here you can dine centrally in Trier with excellent Italian cuisine. We put our hearts and souls into ensuring that your dining experience is enjoyable and stylish. It's almost impossible for you to lack something. If you are in town or even just nearby: look no further!

Meine 36 cm Pizza Marinara war wirklich riesig, und sowohl lecker als auch üppig belegt. Gleiches gilt für das Bolognese Schnitzel mit Spaghetti meiner lieben Frau. Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Preisniveau ist für diese Qualität sehr angemessen.

Really bad, be careful when ordering, the driver could only give me €5 in change instead of €15, he would have given all the change to the customer beforehand but he would have to go back to the customer straight away, so he would bring me the remaining €10 He would be back in 10 minutes, but no one has come so far, the restaurant doesn't respond.

Lots of people and no intimacy like in fast food.

We took a seat on the outdoor terrace. To start with, we had to wait a very long time for the menu, while visitors - who came after us - received a menu more quickly. However, the terrace was not full at that time. After waiting 20 minutes, without a map, we left. Shame.

Ordered beef carpaccio, although it was a starter, really small portion. The meat was totally watered down, not seasoned & just slapped into the packaging. For the price, totally underground. The pizza (small) with extra scampi, olives and garlic arrived totally cold. There was no garlic at all. And paid over €40 for both including delivery costs. Unfortunately it is absolutely not recommended, it was very disappointing for the price 🙄

Amazing Italian place run by a true Italian, who knows his craft.... bravissimo!

I've known the Meninno family for 5 years and have been to their restaurants, including the predecessor Villa Venezia between 2018 and 2021, 75 times now as of January 2024. I've never been disappointed and, basically without exception, have been delighted by the authentic Italian atmosphere, the warm reception and attentive service by family and staff, the great quality of the food, and the interesting selection of wines. For the above reasons, Da Giuseppe is by far my favourite Italian restaurant in Trier and I'm looking forward to the next 75 visits :)

The pizzas were amazing, we were actually just walking passed and seen a few people eating so decided to go in as the pizzas looked really good and they didn't disappoint. The service was quite slow considering we were actually the only people there by the time we had finished. I went in to ask for the bill as the staff were inside chatting I then went back in 10 minutes later to ask again. This was the only negative though so as long as you don't need to catch a train like we did then I would recommend this place.

We were in Trier over the weekend and spontaneously stopped by while looking for a restaurant. We liked the pasta so much that we went back to eat it the next day. The pizza was also absolutely delicious. Service was very friendly and the price was also great.

We've been there several times now and tried a wide variety of dishes. What can I say, everything there tastes like a vacation in Italy. Many thanks to the lovely team for such a successful evening every time.

Food and service were great, outdoor seating was ok, unfortunately shuttle buses constantly drove past me (approx. 50cm distance).

Authentic Italian with delicious food. The employees are very friendly, although there can be short waiting times when there is a high rush as there are only three waiters on duty, all of whom speak Italian. The dining room wasn't too loud, but it can get warm in some areas due to the open kitchen. The pizzas were large and excellent, but the panna cotta was a bit too sweet for my taste.

Delicious food, good portions, good value for money

Unfortunately, the male waitress was so extremely annoyed and in a bad mood that I felt totally uncomfortable. Everyone can have a bad day, but here I think someone missed their job... But the pizza was delicious and the other conditions were very good.

The pizzeria was recommended to us and we wanted to end the day on a nice note. Immediately found a free table. The waitress seemed nice, but we then had to ask the waiter for the menu. The waiter seemed a bit stressed. We also had to wait a little longer for our food, which we justified by the fact that the pizzeria was very busy. The carpaccio must have been too close to a warm plate, because it was no longer red and rather lightly cooked. On the other hand, the pizza was very good. Even though the waiters saw that we were finished, we were ignored, which we - two women - didn't think was nice. We've been here in Trier for two days, but we wouldn't go to the pizzeria again. Actually, it's a shame. We didn't feel comfortable.

Good food, we had to wait a long time to order our food. The waiter had few words. Cozy terrace with some wasps.

I had lunch here twice. First day food and service was excellent. Second day had a male waiter who seemed more keen on roaming around shouting in Italian and doing things other than serving people. Also on second had pizza marinara..very little in the way of marinara. I suggest avoiding seafood pizza unless you are happy with very little seafood.

Good pizzeria, you can choose between pizzas of 30 or 40 cm diameter. You can eat outside on the terrace in a car-free street.

The food is freshly cooked and you can watch the chefs and pizza makers at work. It tastes fantastic (we were there three evenings in a row and tried everything on the menu) and the portions are made for the big appetite. The service is incredibly attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere is simply great. Any time!

We had dinner there with good friends and it was a great evening. All pizzas were super tasty. The service was very attentive and friendly, especially to our friends' child. The little one even got a heart ❤️ pizza baked. We always enjoy going there to eat 👍.

Sehr lang gewarted. Unfreundlich. 50 minutes for bruschetta and then more than 30 minutes for a simple spaghetti . Not even An appolagize or compensation.

Blijf hier weg als toerist. Eten is ok, bediening is verschrikkelijk. 50 minuten gewacht op bruschetta's terwijl iedereen rondom al lang hoofdgerecht had. Buiten een simpele "probleem in de keuken" geen enkele uitleg. Dan nog eens 30 minuten voor een gewone pasta. Bij afrekenen kregen bijna alle tafels de vraag om nog een digestief van het huis te nemen. Deze vraag niet gekregen (hoeft voor alle duidelijkheid ook niet maar als je het op één plaats vraagt, doe het dan overal). Het enige wat er wel direct kwam was de rekening zodat we konden opkrassen en plaats maken voor iemand anders

When the Bill comes, everybody gets An limoncello of the house. But not the tourists. You can only pass there if you have a lot of time.not recommandable

Any time! Food was very tasty and the service was also very friendly! The prices were cheap compared to the location.

Pizza was very tasty but the service was extremely arrogant! We were two families and had an order value of over 100 EUR. When we wanted to pay by card, the lady who took our order said that the card machine wasn't working at the moment. However, just ten minutes earlier, I had seen in front of my eyes that another customer had paid by card without any problems. Another time I ordered pizza to be picked up via Lieferando. When we picked up the pizza, the kids wanted to eat it at the restaurant. The lady explained to us that this was not allowed because of the tax office and an alleged fine of EUR 5,000 and refused. That was very disappointing. Based on these experiences, I unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant.

Best pizza in Trier ♥️🙏 The other dishes are also all recommended. We love coming here because of the pizza and eat salad and vitello tonnato as a starter. The bread is homemade. Service is great. Please pay cash in this restaurant.

The food was good and the wine too, but for over 20€ for 6 homemade noodles it's a bit stingy...!!! And when I asked, I was answered with arrogance that it was normal because it was homemade... and something about VAT. I have NEVER seen such a ridiculously small portion in all of Luxembourg (even though the rent costs almost twice as much) as any honest restaurateur I would be ashamed to serve such portions... My wife was able to eat his ridiculous portion of pasta alone because my pizza arrived 15 minutes later. First and last time eaten here. REALLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

I came here for a trip with school and me and my friends decided to pop in here for a lunch. I had my doubts in the beginning but I quickly changed my mind. The woman working there was extremely nice and really helped out with choosing the dishes. Oh and did I mention that they had like 3 pages for only pizza. Once the pizzas arrived I realized that if they mean large they really mean it. The pizzas were huge and were even bigger than the plate! The taste of the pizza was just sublime and that’s without the delicious homemade spicy oil sauce added onto the slice. Overall the place is clean and prices are good. Would definitely recommend to everybody who’s looking for a nice Italian meal in Trier!

Excellent value for money, have been here many times, eaten through the menu once, everything was delicious, from the original Italian pizza to the steak! Heartily recommended ❣️

Pizza good (Italians should do it too). My minestrone, a lot of vegetables but without taste and Italian influence. Scaloppina al Vino Bianco are not recommended = meat more schnitzel than what Italian Scaloppina is supposed to be (thinner slices of meat), the sauce due to too much flour, not what you expect = Italian is different! Cook for us only suitable for pizza.

A cozy and - thanks to clever interior design - pleasantly quiet restaurant, you can have a conversation without having to shout. Neat and clean, exemplary toilets. The waitresses are competent and extremely friendly, without seeming fake. All the food we ordered (soup, pizza, schnitzel, penne, various desserts, including a very excellent tiramisu) was a success, as was the extensive drinks menu. All of this with a very good price-performance ratio. Absolutely recommended!

Nice pizza and a cozy little restaurant in Trier Center. Staff is pleasant and speak English. Pizza is of the Italian thin crust style just to warn you, not a puffy fluffy crust of the neapolitan kind. Also great beer! All good 4/5.

I didn't think that all of the Lieferando reviews were correct. Pizza soggy and dough tough, bruschetta or baguette definitely from yesterday at least. Driver extremely unpleasant. One would say it was worth a try, but that's how it stays. A pity. Prices are all going up and quality is going down. Let's see how long restaurants can afford something like this...

We have rarely eaten such a delicious and excellently prepared pizza as we did here. Grade 1a!!! In addition, we felt completely at home there straight away, as the staff were extremely friendly and created a great atmosphere. Although we only discovered it “by chance” on a day trip from Aachen to Trier, we already know that we will definitely stop there again at some point. That was “Italy (Naples) in Germany” - driving over 1,500 kilometers less to eat a class of pizza. Highly Recommended. Thank you for the lovely evening.

Insalata Piccola with pastries was good. As Tagliatella Scampi Zucchini Gamberetti, I initially received ribbon noodles with only 2 pieces of shrimp... After my announcement, I was given another portion with several small shrimps but with overcooked noodles and burnt, fatty sauce with no taste... I was hungry, but I could hardly eat it eat. Afterwards I had problems with my stomach that night... Paying by card was impossible because of a "problem with the internet"... When paying, even though I left the rest of the pasta on the plate, I wasn't asked whether I liked it …

The pizza was good, no doubt, but there are better ones in Trier, which doesn't mean that this pizza deserves a good one, it's big enough to make you happy
