Pizzeria Pomodoro in Mömbris

We've been ordering from here for years, but only when there weren't other options. Occasionally, the food wasn't bad; maybe they just had a different chef? Generally, it was "okay." Most of the time, the delivery arrived faster than promised, which was great! The driver, who was afraid of dogs, stopped on the street in front of the gate and honked until we came out, but she was quite nice. After our last order about a week ago, however, we decided not to order from there again: It was roughly the last day before their vacation, so maybe that was the reason for the incredibly poor quality, I don't know. In any case, the food was absolutely inedible! We had Jägerschnitzel with fries and salad. As soon as we opened the package, we were hit by an unpleasant odor. The fries were made from completely bad old potatoes, covered in black spots (not burnt, but black potato spots!). You just can't sell that! The breading and the schnitzel looked like they'd already been sold and returned; they were absolutely inedible! When I called and complained, they simply hung up in the middle of the conversation!!! I've never experienced anything like it! €30 wasted, the entire meal was thrown away – well, thank you very much! Keep it up, apparently you don't care about keeping your customers happy!! We're switching to the competition!

The food itself tastes good and the chef is great. Only the lady on the phone and certain drivers were very unfriendly because I wanted my money back for the overcharge, and that happens very, very often these days! The staff is very unfriendly!

10 out of 10. I don't understand all the negative reviews. I called and the pizza arrived 15 minutes later. Delicious and very friendly service.

The last shop! We ordered via Lieferando, delivery time stated: 1.5 hours. After more than 2 hours we called to ask, to no avail. A total of 5 attempts, all without success, no one answers the phone. To top it all off, the app later showed that the order had been delivered, which wasn't the case 😂 that's fraud! There is also a young lady who works there who is terrified of dogs. This fear is so great that the good woman can judge by the appearance of a house whether a dog lives there or not. Then she likes to just sit in the car and honk like crazy until you get to the car. Urgent medical attention or a change of job is required here.

Ordered 4 meals via Lieferando. The delivery time was stated as 1 hour, but it arrived after 2 hours and was incomplete. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time. Nothing but trouble with this store. I will definitely not order from there again.

I ordered pasta and a cheeseburger at 5:04 PM, and it arrived after 2 hours. When I tried to check after 1.5 hours, no one answered the phone. After two more attempts, there was still no one. I've never experienced anything like that before, and when my food was finally delivered, I didn't even get an apology or anything else. I wouldn't recommend it.

At first, I was satisfied. For some time now, the food has been taking almost two hours. The app says dsbri, one hour. Drivers stop on private property, leave the cars running, and get rude when you tell them to stop. Today, the aunt even came with her child. Poor Germany. I won't be placing any more orders here in the future.

The food there is okay, well, everything's okay, but not incredibly tasty. The pizzas are significantly better than the pasta, though. Otherwise, the delivery time was actually okay—not particularly fast, but it didn't take that long either. The pizzeria itself is okay.

We ordered at 5:37 PM, and the food arrived at 7:26 PM, so an hour would have been acceptable. We didn't like the pizza; it was too salty, the base was black, and it didn't taste good either. We won't order from there again 😠

Food ordered by phone: The food tasted okay to good (pasta and pizza), as before, but: Once again, we sat together with five children (under seven), ordered, and were told by phone that it would take 1 hour, or more like 1 hour and 20 minutes. Our call came after 2 hours. Here's the information: "Food is leaving now." And then it arrived again over 30 minutes later (with a door-to-door travel time of 3 minutes). Sorry, but as a service provider, I'm at the lowest level. I either have the manners to say "sorry, I just forgot, too much stress," or ask "should I prepare and deliver the food?" but don't just say "it's leaving right now" and make the customers wait as long as other delivery services take to complete the entire process. And we're existing customers with a registered number, so you can pick up the phone beforehand and say "sorry, we can't make it." So we repeatedly had hungry and whining children in the house, who, thanks to the late delivery, were two hours late getting to bed... If it were up to me, I wouldn't order from here again.

Ordered via Lieferando. After 90 minutes, we were informed that there was a technical problem but that the pizza was now in the oven. Another 70 minutes. later still no delivery.

Unfortunately, my experience with this pizzeria this time was very disappointing. I recently placed an order over the phone even though the pizzeria is closing in 20 minutes. The boss confirmed to me that an order was still possible. But the delivery person repeatedly had problems with the order, complained that it was too late and even called privately to complain. This wasn't the first time she reacted inappropriately. Another problem: The delivery person repeatedly pressured us to give tips directly to her instead of paying through the pizzeria's payment systems. We did this, but she still complained afterwards, which is unacceptable to me. It's a real shame because the food was good as usual, but the delivery person's behavior significantly spoils the overall impression. Unfortunately, such experiences mean that I will consider whether I will order here again in the future.”

We are appalled by the quality, prices and delivery times...Shocking that a store like this can survive for so long.

Delivery . I work in the catering industry myself. But unfortunately that was the saddest meal I've ever seen. The large schnitzel was squeezed together and folded so that it mainly fits into the box. And unfortunately just tough and dry. Fries were cold and without salt. It's a shame and I won't even talk about the pizza.

The food was ok at best. No spice, no spice, no love! It is mass production and no longer the usual quality. The delivery also took far too long as announced on Lieferando, the time was overrun by a whole hour. The delivery service is afraid of dogs, so you have to pick up your food on the street! That's not possible these days with such staff. I can't recommend ordering food there more. Sorry, but you used to be much, much better.

It's time to write a review again. Who doesn't know the Pomodoro pizzeria in Kahlgrund. If you want a pizza, you'll get it at Pomodoro. But that was about it. The food tastes like any average restaurant in Germany. I can confidently say that because I travel around a lot both professionally and privately. But honestly, with the prices, which are quite reasonable, you shouldn't expect a Michellin chef. But I would now like to get into the real reason for my rating. You shower, put on loose clothes and wait eagerly for your pizza. You don't want to go out the door like that, but that's why you can write a note on the delivery note at Lieferando. Already done it a thousand times. You would think that suppliers would finally have to get the hang of contactless delivery after Corona, but let's be honest. Even in times of Corona, the suppliers came without masks and rang the bell like a special school dropout who couldn't carry out the simplest processes. However, the most brazen thing I have encountered so far was this driver. The delivery note clearly states that he should leave the pizza at my door, I notice him. Unfortunately, he rang the wrong bell several times for at least 3 minutes and completely ignored my note. When someone opened the door for him, he claimed to have been waiting for at least 20 minutes. It was 5 minutes in total. He must have noticed the note by now, because he simply pocketed the delivery note and was generally very unfriendly. By the way, the gentleman wasn't exactly in a hurry to leave. But it's just Pomodoro... the pizza McDonald's of the Kahlgrund....

Conclusion: Pizza is a matter of taste Experience: ordered pizza/pasta there for a small “Christmas party”. Food came on time, but wasn't that hot. In terms of taste, the pizza doesn't suit MY taste. Positive: punctual delivery, friendly driver Negative: Unfortunately the pizza wasn't that warm anymore

Bestellung über Lieferando, 4 Pizza plus Salat. Sollte ca. 1h Lieferzeit haben, was okay ist Abends, dauerte aber über 2h. Anruf kurz vor der Lieferung ergab, dass die Pizza schon seit langem unterwegs sei. Als die Pizza ankam, schmeckte sie auch genau so, pappig und halb kalt. Beim Anruf wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass ich beim nächsten Mal eine Flasche Wein dazu bekäme. Dazu wird es wohl von meiner Seite nicht kommen. Früher hatte die Pizzeria einen guten Ruf, scheint wohl Vergangenheit zu sein. Schade.

Had ordered food, everything was fine and dandy. Food was okay, except for the toppings that completely stuck to the lids of two pizzas. When the food arrived, I was immediately spoken to indirectly by the boss, who wasn't particularly enthusiastic (was angry, according to what I was told) about the order, as it was supposedly outside the delivery area, the site there (I ordered it via Lieferando ) said the opposite. In addition, I had the audacity of being charged another €2 delivery fee upon arrival, which I found absolutely cheeky. I was then allowed to listen to a nice lecture, indirectly, from the boss (nothing against the supplier, he left a nice impression). To the boss: next time just let us know, it's best to CALL!!! that you don't deliver to the respective location, or that you then charge more delivery costs. And maybe also tell Lieferando that they don't deliver there.

First I waited three hours and then the pizza was soggy than mine and my underpants in the middle of summer due to cracked water, which is exactly what the pizza tasted like

What's the point of being an "Italian" that suddenly there are more schnitzel variations than pasta variations on the menu? The number of pasta dishes has been reduced from 38 to 13! Although we actually like the food (it's usually just missing a little salt), we won't be ordering here as often anymore because everything that my wife liked has disappeared from the pasta dishes!

The pizza was super delicious as well as the spaghetti aglio olio. The service was very friendly and accommodating. We'd love to come back.

Das Essen ist gut. Keine Frage. Service/ Lieferservice ist Glückssache, je nachdem, ob der Chef im Haus ist, oder nicht. Zuverlässigkeit in puncto Lieferzeit ist ne glatte 6! Und im Fall von gerechtfertigten Beanstandungen sind wir im Bereich Lösungsorientierung und Servicefreundlichkeit ebenfalls im Bereich 5-6

Bin hier schon seit einigen Jahren Kundin. Hier bekommt man leckeres Essen, die Lieferung war immer schneller als angekündigt und bisher wurde jeder Sonderwunsch richtig geliefert. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung für den Lieferdienst und das Restaurant!

Sehr freundliche Bedienung und sehr leckeres Essen. Wir hatten Calzone und Frutti de Mare mit Spaghetti. Empfehlenswert. Auch das gelieferte Essen ist immer einwandfrei .

Sehr guter Italiener essen war sehr gut. Lieferzeit aber leider sehr lange, Preise OK. Pasta und Pizza sind sehr zu empfehlen. Portionen könnten etwas größer sein. Die Karte ist überschaubar. Kann ich jedem empfehlen.

Wir bestellen schon Jahre dort und waren bislang immer sehr zufrieden... wenn ein Produkt der Bestellung fehlt, wird es zügig nachgeliefert. Egal ob Pizza, Pasta, Salate oder Schnitzel... Qualität und Geschmack passten jedes Mal...

Haben dort schon oft bestellt und waren bisher auch zufrieden, allerdings wurden inzwischen 4x in Folge, mitbestellte Extras vergessen. Zuletzt wurden bei einer größeren Bestellung sogar mehrere Extras nicht berücksichtigt. Sorry Leute aber ich bezahle keinen Aufpreis nur damit dann immer wieder aufs neue etwas vergessen wird!!! Unterm Strich geht es mir noch nich mal um die paar Euro, es ist mir nur einfach völlig unverständlich wie man sowas wiederholt schaft und das obwohl es nicht nur von mir bemängelt wird. Telefonat brachte zwar eine Gratispizza bei der nächsten Bestellung aber hey, die folgt nun wohl so schnell nicht mehr, es sei denn keiner will etwas spezielles.

Bestellung erfolgt über lieferando. Lieferzeit war gemäß der App mitgeteilt. Allerdings die Dame die geliefert hat, wollte die Treppe nicht runter laufen, da Sie Angst hatten die überdachte Treppe runter zu fliegen. Pizza, Salat war gut. Die Pommes hätten man ruhig etwas mehr salzen können. Aber die Lieferdame war echt keine empfehlenswerte Dame zum ausliefern. Ich habe wohlgemerkt ne schmerzende Schulter und habe das Essen mit einer Hand selbst in die Wohnung runter tragen müssen.

Richtig leckere Pizza und Pasta. Wenn man sich seine Bestellung selbst abholt, ist alles Top!

Wir sind seid Jahren Kunden und im großen und ganzen waren wir immer sehr zufrieden. Wir haben auch die Preiserhöhungen in der letzten Zeit verstanden, da Corona einfach alles verändert hat. Aber der Lieferaufschlag von EUR 2,00 ist nicht mehr schön und wir sind deswegen sehr enttäuscht. Wir müssen von daher unsere Bestellungen reduzieren, ob sich daher für Euch die Erhöhung lohnt ? Wir finden es sehr schade😒

Alle Pizzas hier laut Menü beinhalten Geschmacksverstärker.... Manchmal war der Boden von gelieferten Pizzas fast komplett verbrannt....

Soßen bei einem Schnitzel haben oft keinen Geschmack ansonsten ist vieles super

Leckere Pizzas ! Originelle Auswahl! Findet man nicht in jeder Pizzaria! Orginal Italienisch Freundliches Personal Chef immer anzutreffen, sei es als Fahrer, in der Küche oder im Service ! Frische schmeckt man heraus -> auf dem Weg zur Toilette kann man in die Küche schauen, hier sieht es nicht nach Zutaten alla Dose und hygienischen Mängel aus !

Die Pizza an sich war lecker... allerdings erst nachdem ich sie im Backofen wieder aufgewärmt hab. Bei der nächsten Bestellung kam sie sehr schnell und sehr warm an

Die Pizza war gut, nur bei den Nudeln war in der Bolognesesauce wenig Hackfleisch, generell wurde mit der Sauce recht sparsam umgegangen.

Die Pizzen sind geschmacklich sehr gut! Pasta und andere Gerichte stehen den Pizzen in nichts nach! Probiert doch mal die Pizza " Vier Jahrens Zeiten" ! Guten Hunger - geniesst das Essen !

Essen meistens gut. Aber bei Bestellung Relativ lange Wartezeit.

Das Essen an sich immer Sehr gut und bezahlbar. Die letzte Essensbestellung leider nur lauwarm liegt aber eventuell auch an der Anfahrt von ungefähr 20 Minuten

Wir hatten heute 2 Pizzen bestellt. Ich habe extra die Namen genannt um Verwechslungen zu vermeiden. Der annehmende Mitarbeiter erzählte mir, dass die Nummern reichen und hat diese selbst ergänzt. Als die Pizza eine Viertelstunde nach Bestelltermin eintraf stellte ich fest, dass eine der zwei Pizzen falsch geliefert wurden. Ich rief dort zufällig auch beim gleichen Mitarbeiter an und sagte, dass sie eine falsche Lieferung hatten. Dieser sagte mir, dass dies überhaupt nicht sein kann. Sie hätten alles richtig gemacht. Ich muss die falsche Pizza bestellt haben ??? Als ich mir den Chef geben lassen wollte, hatte dieser wohl zu tun und keinerlei Interesse!!! Niemals wieder 😡

We enjoyed our dinner at Pomodoro. 2 pizzas were ordered, 1 small and 1 large and they were plenty large for each person. 1 person had mushroom rigatoni which was great and large quantity to eat. 1 order of spaghetti was good. The drinks, wine, soda and water were the lowest costs during our entire trip in Germany, so glad to see the bill. Credit card was not accepted, Euros only. Service was good. There were a few tables outside but all were taken so we ate inside. Due to the extreme heat in Bavaria, the room was quite hot.

Ich weiß nicht, wie man es schaffen kann, bei 35 Grad Außentemperatur eine Pizza anzuliefern, die weniger als 25 Grad hat. Pizza Pomodoro schafft es jedenfalls. Statt der bestellten 30 cm Durchmesser hatte sie auch nur 28. Auch geschmacklich, natürlich nach dem Aufwärmen sowieso, war das alles andere als ein Erlebnis. Die Beurteilung bezieht sich nur auf den Lieferservice. Das Restaurant haben wir eine ganze Weile nicht mehr besucht. Lasagne kenne ich von Früher, ist ganz OK. Nur Pizza bestelle ich sobald keine mehr dort.
