It was my very first time there, as I was in the area and the reviews were so good. What can I say? They're true. I haven't had such a good and delicious pizza in a long time. I also want to give a shout-out to the price, absolutely fair. I could barely finish the Pizza Marinara, and all for €9.50!

I ordered two pizzas and a beer for takeaway. I went in and said I'd ordered two pizzas. He just told me "I don't care." Outrageous. Never again.

I've known Pizzeria Petro since my youth, which is now a good 40 years ago, and I'm still a customer there today. In the 80s, it had a turbulent history and was nicknamed "Bomb Petro." This wasn't just because the pizza tasted amazing, but also because it was often closed for extended periods because it had seemingly "blown up." Rumor had it that the Mafia was responsible. Whether that was true was never really investigated. Even after a change of ownership, the quality didn't suffer. Delicious pizza at reasonable prices, a few small tables for eating in, and a simple but always clean atmosphere are what characterize this pizzeria. Here, it's "normal" for an order to take up to 45 minutes to process, but that's actually a good thing, because the phone never stops ringing, and when it's time to pick up your order, it's like a beehive, with a constant flow of people coming and going. I often wonder how the staff manage everything despite the crowds and the consistently high quality. Thank you for being there and for these amazing, delicious pizzas.

We went to Petro Pizza for dinner. Our kids got a special pizza box folding class. But what was even better...the pizza...I mean, quite simply with salami and mozzarella. I think a good pizza has to score points. This one absolutely delivers. Great crust, good toppings, and cooked just right. Simply delicious and absolutely recommended!!! Thank you.

The pizzas and salads were great. I would recommend it to anyone. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The value for money is excellent! Just be sure to allow some time or order in advance by phone. When business is busy, an order can take a good half hour. But the wait is definitely worth it, as there's nothing to complain about. We'll be back!

The pizzas are average. The pizza dough was good, but the base was a bit black, and some of the edges were also black. The ingredients were fresh, garnished a bit carelessly. The overall flavor was rather bland. Despite being picked up on time, the pizza box's cardboard was already soggy, and the pizza was sticky.

Very good pizza in Langen. Prices are fair - however, they don't offer delivery. So, you'll have to call and pick it up later. We've ordered there many times and have found the quality to be consistently good. Highly recommend this pizzeria 👍

If you're in Langen, this is the best place for pizza. Really cheap and very, very good. We were treated excellently! It's our favorite pizzeria; we go there every time we have to travel on business. It's undoubtedly one of the best pizzerias in the city, and on top of that, one of the cheapest. Try the Tavern Pizza.

The food itself is good but I emphasized three times that I wanted garlic sauce but they just gave me garlic.

The service was terrible, the staff were very rude, especially the woman. I was there with two friends. We ordered pizza and my friend said three times that he wanted garlic sauce on his pizza but the staff member didn't put any on it. Even when we went back in to ask him to put sauce on the pizza, he said he already had, there were only small pieces of garlic. The pizza was disgusting and they hardly had any drinks except for 7up and pepsi. They don't know how to deal with customers, have zero respect and think they can lie to their customers. 0/10. I've never seen such a shitty pizzeria.

A very tasty pizza at a fair price. The map is easy to read for allergy sufferers. Unfortunately no card payment possible, otherwise I would be here more often (maybe better for my figure). You only want to sit inside if you feel like watching the staff bake, which isn't a bad way to end the day.

By far the best pizza in Langen. The fact that this restaurant has survived for so long without seating or delivery says it all. Since the renovation there have been a few bistro tables inside, but it's not comfortable. The pizza, fresh from the wood-fired oven, is absolutely amazing. You should always call and pre-order so that you don't have to wait too long when you get there. Lasagna and canelloni are only available while stocks last, so it's best to ask here too.

Typical pizzeria, nice bakers and delicious pizza at good prices. No. 25 is one of my big favorites, I can only warmly recommend it 🍕 💕

Discovered by chance and immediate enthusiasm. Friendly welcome even just before the lunch break and still prepared 3 great tasting pizzas. Great price/performance ratio. Will definitely use it when we are back in Langen.

I visited this establishment 2 times in short succession - once one a Sunday evening, then on the following Tuesday for lunch. There are plenty of reviews here who write about service, no answering phone etc. Yet when you are good, then you are good. When you are busy, you are busy. When you are at max capacity, you are at max capacity - and all for good reasons. Both times I ordered in at the establishment to take away. I understand why this establishment is so good. The pizza’s are spot on. What makes a great pizza Rosa, ie tomato sauce base is 1. the hydration of the dough. 2. the sauce. And 3. The cooking method. The sauce is 100% spot on. Very tomatoey taste with that right tang. The dough, for my liking, could be a little more hydrated, yet tip top as it is. And fired pizza, a match made in pizza heaven. Sunday evening was busy as - hectic! Returning on Tuesday at lunch time the pizza cook remembered me, and even my order from Sunday. Tuesday lunch time it was much quieter and we had time for a great chat. If ever in Langen and looking for a great pizza, then this is the place for you. HIGHLY recommend and hands down awesome value for money in December 2024 - a margarita pizza still costs 5.50€ !!!!!

Of all the pizzerias I know, the best pizza in the area :) In my opinion, the pizza at Petro is unbeatable: Crispy base, fresh ingredients and an addictive taste. The service is super friendly, the pizzeria is rather small but the WOOD OVEN and the pizza makers who I know from my youth because they helped my parents (for 42 years) make it. If you haven't been here, you're missing out on the best pizza around!

Very weak pizza now. Ordered today and very hard and dry. Unfortunately, there is no difference from before. I also ordered pasta and it was great, but how can you go wrong with pasta? Accordingly, only 1 star and hope that the quality comes back 🍀

A small stand-up pizzeria (with a few bar stools for sitting down). During my last visit a few days ago, I saw that there were now a few more seating options, but they didn't seem to be open. Accordingly, I can only base my rating on the main store. I was also just there to pick up pizza. The ambience is just like it is in a stand-up pizzeria like this. Nothing special, but completely ok. Very few people will spend too much time here. Pick-up times specified by telephone are appropriate. Staff are very quick and super friendly. The service rating only refers to what I can expect in such a pizzeria. Dishes are prepared in a wood-fired oven. Dough is very good, the rest of the topping is ok. Cheese only sprinkled cheese. I was last here about 4 years ago and remembered a really good pizza that made me come back. Unfortunately it was no longer there during my current visit. But it was still ok to good. Price-performance ratio is absolutely right and is included in the evaluation of the food. Well suited for a quick snack and the desire for something decent to eat.

Great takeaway pizza in Langen, but due to understaffing or lack of space at the oven, customer service is often lacking. There is no telephone system, so it is always busy when you want to order at 17 o'clock. Because of the busyiness the people are often in hurry and not really friendly.

It's been a tradition for as long as I can remember, we've had "Petro's Pizza Pie" or now "Pizzeria Petro" and it tastes absolutely delicious!

Such an amazing place this place makes great pizza and pasta and a wonderful salad but most of all its the owners and staff we had a great conversation with the owner and he was telling us they had been in business for 35yrs they helped us with the menu as best as they could we ate at this place 2 times once when we got there and once before we left to come back home this little place is a hidden gem and if you are ever in the area you should make this a place to go to and try their pizza great price and all is made fresh!

Have lived nearby for 15 years and never made it here.. UNFORTUNATELY... Went there for the first time recently and weren't disappointed, really good, the pizza was bigger than expected and very well topped, dough, sauce, ingredients were all great, the salad was the same, the right size... Ingredients were fresh and tasted great (no water tomatoes or similar) & the prices on the homepage are really still correct... (I didn't expect that these days) Conclusion: No exorbitant prices (like many others in the area), good portions, great staff :) Pizza Petro gets an A with * :)

Just a quick call and you're ready to be picked up at a moment's notice, even though the pizzeria is always busy. Perfect time management that you can rely on. Ordered three pizzas there for the first time today thanks to a recommendation. I called there and was able to pick up the pizzas in 15 minutes. The pizza was hot, the ingredients were fresh and the taste was excellent. You can taste the fact that two real Italians are lending a hand here. I actually only became aware of the store through a recommendation. I know what a good pizza tastes like in Italy and this one comes very close. For me the best pizzeria far and wide!

Leider kommt in letzter Zeit die Pizza zu schnell aus dem Ofen sodass der Teig nicht ganz durch ist. Schade... Ist nun wirklich das dritte Mal in Folge. Wir werden nicht mehr bestellen. Ich denke es liegt daran, dass Sie es vielen Kunden recht machen wollen sodass die Qualität der Pizza darunter leidet. Sehr schade.

Konnte bisher keine bessere Pizza in Langen und Umgebung finden. Denke auch nicht, dass sich dies ändern wird. Da ich in Langen wohne nehme ich die Pizza immer mit nach Hause, vor Ort wäre es nicht sehr gemütlich.

Fast schon zu günstig für den Geschmack. Zum abholen Top, eher nicht fürs vor Ort essen. Bisher haben Pizzen immer ca. 20 Minuten vom bestellen bis zum abholen gebraucht.

Nach langer Zeit mal wieder hier Pizza gegessen. Super schnell aufm Teller und mega lecker. Ja, eigentlich Abholpizza, aber ein paar wenige Sitzgelegenheiten gibt es schon. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.
