Very nice ambience and class setting with the castle.friendly and courteous staff. Starters are recommended, pizzas are OK. In terms of price, you eat in the moderate middle.

Looks good from the outside, the tax office should take a look inside. Last time the card payment terminal was supposedly broken and now a few months later the same note is hanging on the door: No card payment possible. It may be nice and tasty, but that's stupid. But yay cash should be abolished. 🥲

Unfortunately I can only give one star because payment was only possible in cash, which is why we had to leave. We liked the ambience. It's hard to imagine what will happen to all the restaurants if the state abolishes cash.

Simply great. We were a larger group (10 people) and had pre-booked a table. Very nice atmosphere. The outdoor area is currently being remodeled for the "new season". It will certainly be wonderful to sit outside and enjoy the sunny weather. The restaurant was very busy. Despite the many visitors, the service was great. Nice service staff, delicious food. Simply brilliant. Despite the many visitors, we were served quickly. The starter platters, the selected dishes and also the desserts were lovingly prepared and tasted extremely delicious. Special requests were also taken into account (vegan). People kept asking if everything was OK. And even the boss came to the table every now and then. Unfortunately, due to the higher volume (many visitors), it was difficult to have a conversation. Conclusion: Thank you for a great evening in a relaxed atmosphere with delicious food. Highly recommended. We'd love to come back.

We were there on a Saturday evening. It was very crowded and therefore a bit noisy. But the service staff tried very hard and that's why we can highly recommend it!

Here you can indulge in culinary heaven! Everything just fits: the food is always a pleasure - no matter what you choose from the diverse menu, the service is always courteous, friendly and on the ball, the atmosphere is fantastic, especially at sunset in the beer garden, and Francesco (the boss and soul of the restaurant) rounds off the visit to the restaurant with his incredibly warm-hearted and charming manner! A host with heart and soul, and you can feel it! My personal recommendations: the lasagne (I'm lying: I've never had a better one), the pizza la dottore (it's not on the menu - just let it surprise you), the tagliatelle vegetariano, as well as the tiramisu and the profiterol 😍 Important: there are also gluten-free alternatives here!

Our daughter had dinner at the Ristorante this evening. A pasta dish with broccoli cream sauce. We had to drive her to the hospital 1 1/2 hours ago after severe vomiting and diarrhea with blue lips. She is being treated for food poisoning.

Sorry or Called to order a Tuna and Onion Pizza, the Chef comes on the phone and says 20 minutes and comes after 50 minutes... The most serious thing is that the pizza on top is burnt, especially the onion and mozzarella... And the pizza cost €14.90 this is not a pizza to be presented to 1 customer..

Francesco is very charming and the food was ok. - When taking the order, the service should ask whether you want yoghurt or balsamoco dressing or pizza crispy or soft.

We sat in the “winter garden” of the restaurant. Unfortunately it was a bit loud due to the many conversations at the other tables. The pizza and especially the dough was very, very tasty!! The portion of the tagliatelle with salmon and spinach was large enough, but unfortunately I was missing that certain something extra, which is why I have to classify the pasta as a bit boring. Service was very nice. There is more to the atmosphere.

Very tasty food, great ambience and great service

The O Sole Mio is our absolute favorite pizzeria...this is due on the one hand to the good food and on the other hand to the beautiful ambience - especially in summer in the Burggarten. The Italian charm and empathy of the owner leaves nothing to be desired. You can tell from the guests that they like to come and feel comfortable...that includes us, of course. We are regular guests at O ​​Sole Mio and that will not change in the future. I'm looking forward to a cappuccino again in the summer - in the evening - in the castle courtyard - when the guests gradually leave - it becomes quiet and the stars and the moon are above the castle in the night sky. ....oh yes, if you want a table at peak times and on public holidays, you should definitely make a reservation!!!

Great food, best side dishes, salad, great atmosphere

We were there for lunch today with eleven people. Although the restaurant was very busy, the service was very good, attentive, always helpful and friendly. The food was also delicious and everyone enjoyed it very much. Gluten-free and vegan were also possible without any problems. The boss was very friendly and also knew a lot about celiac disease. We are really very satisfied and will definitely come back! :)

Super charming and unique restaurant inside of the castle grounds. We sat outside. Great food and super friendly service. Cash only, no cards. The owner joked with us that Americans always want to pay with a credit card. Fortunately we had cash on us. :) Very nice ambience. Would definitely go back and eat there again. We had pizza and Schnitzel and Tiramisu for dessert.

Have been eating at this restaurant for several years now and have always been satisfied! You can even have birthday parties here. The food is always fresh and delicious. You will always receive friendly and quick service. You can really feel at home here and we always look forward to our next visit.

We were greeted warmly and had the choice of whether we wanted to sit in the restaurant or outside. The service staff was on their toes. We hadn't sat for a minute before she was at the table with the menu. After we ordered drinks and food, it took less than 20 minutes until I got the “house style” schnitzel. My partner took the parmesan schnitzel. Both schnitzels were super tasty. 😋 All in all a successful visit 👍🏻

Ordered a table but still had to wait until a table became available. The waitress then brought the cards and drinks were quickly taken. Ambience: Nicely decorated, but it wasn't what you would expect, it was more like a train station feeling, there was a lot of noise and tables were placed close together. Just take whatever people fit in with you. There were still a lot of people waiting at the door who were kept entertained with a liqueur. Food for my husband arrived and my order was delivered to the next table. So you sit there and wait for your food, your partner is almost finished eating and no one notices that something might be missing. When I asked about my order, I rolled my eyes and went into the kitchen and 5 minutes later my food arrived. The Italian in the restaurant is the entertainer who keeps people happy, fun here, signorina there. All in all, we'd be happy to come back for the food, but we don't need a train station atmosphere. There was no receipt either. Service should be a little more attentive.

Because of the good reviews, I reserved a table for 2 people 5 days in advance, hoping that all the positive reviews would be confirmed! But: My companion and I were given a "cat table" (in the middle, sitting in the aisle, not a table that you choose "voluntarily") in the next room. The salad we ordered as a starter was carelessly slapped down, pizza ham and pizza cheese were thrown on top, the dressing was ready on top - off to the table! Pizza was edible, but definitely not a highlight, it had more of the impression of Tk pizza pimped with a little something on it. Absolutely no recommendation from me, not worth a second visit!

Ich war, Pizza war kalt nudeln auch habe danach lebensmittelvergiftung gehabt und durchfall am besten würde null sterne gebe prei auch zu hoch lieber ein saftigen dönner essn anstatt dort ist auch billiger hab trinkgeld gegeben und haben sich nicht bedankt waren aggresiv der laden besitzer hatte ein sohn der wie eine kuh rumgelaufen ist vertraut mir geht da nicht hin

Hatten Bruschetta a la Chef als Vorspeise und Spaghetti Frutti de Mare und Spaghetti carbonara. Nudeln Perfekt, Beilagen Perfekt 100%. Leider einen Punkt Abzug wegen der doch nach einiger Zeit erheblichen Lautstärke und dünner Luft. Hier wünscht man sich eine kleine Lüftung und Schalllschutz. Dennoch empfehlenswert, sehr gut. Wir durften heute die Taufe unserer Tochter in diesem wunderbaren Restaurant feiern. 🕊️ Man kann einfach nichts Anderes als in allen Bereichen 5⭐️ geben! Es wurde uns ermöglicht, am Vorabend nach unseren Wünschen selbst zu dekorieren. Man wurde sehr herzlich vom kompletten Team empfangen und bedient. Es wurden uns so viele Arbeiten wie selbstverständlich abgenommen! Die Vorspeisen und das Essen waren einfach unbeschreiblich gut und jeder Gast wurde mehr als satt! Und unsere selbst mitgebrachten Kuchen wurden uns auch noch serviert! Wir sind wirklich überglücklich wie unvergesslich dieser Tag dank euch wurde! Vielen Dank für alles!!!! Wirklich nicht gut! Positiv: freundliche Bedienung, Karten, Getränke und Essen kam schnell, der Hof neben der Salzburg ist schön gelegen Negativ: das alles Entscheidende - das Essen - ist fürchterlich und jeder Italiener dreht sich im Grabe herum, wenn er sähe, was hier als italienisches Essen „gekocht“, nein, aufgewärmt, aufgetaut, verkauft wird. Schade, der hübsche Ort hat Besseres verdient.

Ich mag dieses Restaurant so sehr das ich gern 100 km fahre. Das Essen ist hervorragend und der Service freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Am Abend wollte ich gerne eine Pizza essen im idyllisch gelegenen Restaurant O Sole mio. Die Pizzeria war sehr gut besucht. Der Service flink und freundlich. Nachdem ich im Städtchen Bad Neustadt schon ausgezeichnete Pizzas gegessen hatte, wollte ich auch mal im wunderschönen Innenhof der Burg essen. Die Pizza hat wohl ein begnadeter Pizzabäckerei absolut geometrisch kreisrund geformt, wie alle anderen Pizzas auch die ich da gesehen habe, oder ich ahne ein Tiefkühlprodukt gegessen zu haben🤔 Mama Mia, das ist mir in einem anspruchsvollen Italienischem Restaurant noch nie passiert. Hauptsache den Gästen schmeckst. Buon Appetito.

Freundlicher Chef. Leckeres Essen. Außenbereich ist schön. Der Innenbereich lässt etwas zu wünschen übrig. Toiletten könnten auch etwas angenehmer sein.

Diesmal waren wir beim italienischen Abend beim Franco. Ausgezeichnet leckeres Buffet wurde uns serviert. Das Essen, die Getränke und der Service sind aber immer AUSGEZEICHNET mega lecker😘

Auch zu später Stunde wurde uns noch ein Tisch angeboten und wir durften mit Hund Platz nehmen. Das Essen kam schnell und der Service war freundlich. Man hat eine schöne Aussicht über die Rhön und die beleuchtete Stadt am Fuße des Berges. Die Burg ist sowohl über einen Fußpfad sehr schnell vom Schlosshotel oder über das Klinikum zu erreichen.

Restaurant in sehr schöner Lage, wobei der Außenbereich mit schönen Gartenstühlen aber teils seltsamen Tischen - aus dem Innenbereich - versehen ist. Die Cocos Rolle mit Baileys wurde als Tiramisu für 5,90 gebongt und auf unsere Nachfrage auf 4,90 reduziert. Geschmacklich maximal befriedigend und auf unsere Nachfrage wurde uns gesagt dass es kostet was es kostet und wir sollen nicht um Preise diskutieren (Chef persönlich!!!). Keine Entschuldigung für den Fehler und wir wurden eher als seltsame Menschen behandelt und nicht als Gäste. Ich verstehe, dass in dieser harten Zeit vielleicht die Nerven blank liegen, Aber trotzdem hat man das Recht als zahlender Gast auch mit Respekt behandelt zu werden, besonders wenn die Reklamation berechtigt ist.

Essen ging sehr schnell. Salat nicht gut gewaschen, nur drei Sorten, Handvoll Blattsalat, 4 kleine Schnitz Tomaten, 5-6 Scheiben Gurke. Salatsouce aus der Flasche, Essen lecker aber viel zu teuer. Speiseeis mit vielen Wasserkristallen, Sahne aus der Sprühdose. Aussenbereich sehr schmuddelig überall liegen Flaschen und Getränkebecher rum

Tolle Location. Super Pizzen. Super auch für Besucher die Nähe zur Rehaklinik. Es gibt italienische Speisen für den kleinen und großen Geldbeutel

Im Vorhof der Salzburg gelegener Italiener mit Pizza, Basis italienische Gerichte, aber auch Schnitzel... Pizza auch mit glutenfreiem Boden !!! Große Portionen, lecker gegrillter calamari und prima Pasta. Nette und zackige Bedienung auch wenn echt Stress ist. Sitzt toll draußen. Preis Leistung top.
