Pizzeria Napoli in Essen

The "Don Michelle" pizza was ok. There was a little bit of garlic, pepperoni and spiciness to it. But otherwise good. The focaccia was disappointing. Everything different from what makes a focaccia. The olive oil was missing. It was just a pizza crust with spices sprinkled on top. Too thin, dry, hard and partially burned. ... Too bad.

I ordered pasta today and also ordered it for the last time. I had diarrhea after eating. It was the same last time, I didn't think anything of it. But today exactly the same. So I won't order pasta there anymore. Who knows what is being put in there!! In my opinion it deserves 0 stars.

They don't have bad food, but they throw garbage everywhere and make a lot of noise. They also harass the neighbors and their behavior towards women is really disgusting.

I hate to write a bad review, but I'm someone who doesn't like trying new restaurants and when I do, I rely on the reviews. That's why I would like to share my experiences here. If the quality of the food improves, I will change the review. The team is very friendly and the atmosphere in the store is pleasant. Since the store hasn't been open that long, I'm hopeful that things could get better. I tried to give the restaurant a chance several times and unfortunately I was always disappointed. I can only comment on the pizza and pasta dishes, but at a pizzeria these are also the main dishes, so they are primarily relevant. Since I'm not a chef, I can unfortunately only give partially constructive criticism. My girlfriend and I found the pasta dishes just about edible. I don't know what exactly was wrong, but it just tasted sad. The pizzas, on the other hand, were sometimes inedible. I would particularly advise against the hollandaise variants. The broccoli is tasteless, seems like frozen vegetables, and the texture is unpleasant. Unfortunately, the chicken meat was also a disappointment, both in terms of consistency and taste. There is also way too much hollandaise applied, and not exactly the high quality kind. It made both of our stomachs bad. Pizza salami is actually always a safe food for me, but even that is just okay, I wouldn't look forward to it, even if it were free (then I'd rather have it frozen, because then the flavor enhancers at least taste like something). I would recommend the operator to invite a good chef and get feedback from him. In addition, I would revise the menu or offer the option of putting things together yourself if you wish (this is not possible online). If necessary, reduce the menu and make the few dishes really good. Otherwise, it will be difficult in the long term to attract new customers and retain old ones. It would be a shame if you had to close like your predecessors. You can tell that you are motivated and committed. There aren't many options for quick food in the area, but you really have the chance for something long-term here. However, both the ingredients and production quality need to improve significantly.

Despite the sign on the mailbox that clearly asks not to post any advertising or flyers, my mailbox was repeatedly harassed with unwanted advertising. This continued disregard for my request is extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Because of this experience, I have decided never to visit your establishment. It is unfortunate that I cannot give a review about the food as I did not have the opportunity to try your dishes. I hope that in the future you will respect the privacy of your customers and avoid such incidents.

The pizza wasn't tasty, the onions were raw and the cheese was very greasy and too much, badly cut, difficult to digest, I had diarrhea afterwards, the delivery person was nice, that was the only good thing.

Update January 3rd, 2022 Once again the distributor of their flyers was unable to read the text on the sticker on my mailbox! Incidentally, the last time I ate in your restaurant about 1.5 years ago, I was only able to eat a quarter of my dish because it was almost inedible. When I brought the plate of pizza back to the counter, the owner asked me what was wrong. I explained it to him, whereupon he looked at the pizza maker angrily and reproachfully. The fact that the owner didn't offer me a partial refund made the negative impression of this restaurant complete. I can make tastier pizza myself. ______________________________________________ Please tell your flyer distributor that if my mailbox says "Please no advertising..." that he will not put your advertising in my mailbox! ______________________________________________ Update March 1, 2024 Once again, the distributor of their flyers was unable to understand the text on the sticker on my mailbox! For your information! "Unaddressed advertising mail, leaflets and direct mail To keep away unaddressed advertising, leaflets and mailings, the simple “No Advertising” sticker is sufficient. The Federal Court of Justice has decided that advertising companies must take note of this sticker or a sticker with the same message (ref. VI ZR 182/88). Even if the advertising company has its advertising material distributed by third parties, it is responsible for ensuring that such advertising contradictions are taken into account. The Munich District Court decided this on March 18, 2022 (Az. 142 C 12408/21). This means that commissioned distributors must be strongly advised of the need for appropriate organization and control of the advertising campaign. In addition, the advertising company must effectively monitor whether the distributors it commissions also observe “no advertising” stickers and investigate complaints. We ordered three dishes, the delivery time was approx. 60 minutes instead of the stated 30 minutes. That would have been ok, but the food was cold, which is very bad with pizza!!! My complaint was responded to with disinterest!! Absolutely not recommended!!

Habe bereits öfter Pizza dort gegessen, sehr lecker, heute auch Salat und nudeln probiert. Sehr sehr lecker. Sehr freundliches Personal . Kann nichts schlechtes Anmerken. Schade eher das es so klein ist. Ihr könnt was großes starten 😊. Und alle die schlechte Bewertungen schreiben... jeder hat mal einen schlechten Tag vielleicht. Dann muss man nicht von einmal essen eine schlechte Bewertung schreiben.

Über die Pizza kann ich nichts erzählen. Allerdings habe ich Werbung im Briefkasten gehabt. Trotz Schild "Bitte keine Werbung". Wer sich daran nicht halten möchte, wird negativ bewertet.

Trotz eines kleineren Fehlers (jedoch von Lieferando nicht dem Restaurant) wurden noch Salate und Pizzabrötchen als Entschuldigung mitgeschenkt. Wirklich beeindruckender Service!

Habe mir dort eine Pizza Margherita und eine Pommes spezial bestellt. Die Lieferung hat 70-75 Minuten gedauert, obwohl ich in der selben Straße wohne. Das Essen warm lauwarm, fast schon kalt. Ich hatte drum gebeten, dass die Pizza geschnitten wird, dies hat man nicht gemacht. Darüber hinaus war diese sehr trocken und der Geschmack nicht gut. Die Pommes waren sehr weich, nicht knusprig. Lediglich der Preis und die Menge waren in Ordnung. Leider nicht enpfehlenswert.

Essen war nach 40 min da, troz relativ langer Weg, lange gebraucht. Doppelt Käse obwohl ohne Käse gewünscht. Bauchschmerzen bis in die Nacht hinein gehabt, und fast übergeben. War vielleicht auch ein schlechter Tag, aber Ich traue mich erstmal nichtmehr an diesen Laden. Kann es leider nicht empfehlen.

10 von 10 Sternen für eine Pizzeria! Haben das Partysngebot am Samstag für Sonntag bestellt! Es gab 2 Pizzableche (Hawai,Salami,Margherita und Thunfisch zwiebel),ein Lasagneblech,ein Salatblech mit 2 verschiedenen sossen,ein Nudelblech (Schinken Sahne) Pizzabrötchen und Kräuterbutter! Alles hat super lecker geschmeckt und alle waren begeistert!Für mich die beste Pizzeria die ich bisher probiert habe!
