Pizzeria Mimmo e Co. in München

This small Italian restaurant on Goetheplatz offers a straightforward menu, especially with a good selection of pizzas. The restaurant is simply and practically decorated, without any frills. The service that evening was friendly and attentive. The pizzas were delicious, a little dark in places, but still tasty. The prices are reasonable.

Awful service, terrible wine. No credit card service. One of the worst restaurants I’ve been in years. The pizzas are okay.

We were there a few days ago. We ate there and then paid the bill without checking it immediately. Only a few days later did I notice that a dish was listed on the receipt that we hadn't ordered. A good 16 or 17 euros more. Too late to complain. Therefore, only one star for "service."

Pizza with a dog outside, defecating everywhere. Barking very loudly. Not a good atmosphere. Price-performance ratio is completely out of whack here. The pizza is burnt on the edges in one spot. I would have liked to add a photo, but unfortunately I couldn't.

We visited Pizzeria Mimmo because it's often recommended. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The food was okay, but absolutely overrated. The pizza tasted average—not bad, but nothing special either. For the price, it was still acceptable. What really bothered us was the waiter's behavior. Since we rarely eat Italian food and were a bit unsure about what to choose, we politely asked for a recommendation. His response: "I haven't had any teeth for two weeks." We honestly found that inappropriate and unprofessional. We would have expected someone to give us friendly advice or at least recommend a house specialty. Good service should make guests feel good—unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. Overall, our visit was disappointing, and we wouldn't go back.

Seven of us wanted to have dinner together, but were very rudely sent away. What are we even thinking about going to a restaurant for dinner together...

I was immediately drawn to the checkered tablecloths. Our food, lasagna and a Quattro Stagioni pizza, was PERFETTO! Million Grazie e a Presto!

We spontaneously went to Mimmo on a Saturday evening with a group of 15 people and lots of children. The reservation worked straight away and we were welcome. The food was good and the service had to put up with a lot from us :). Thank you for the lovely evening.

The flavors were great and the prices reasonable. The pizzas were actually even bigger than we were expecting. We probably could have split one and ordered an appetizer, but we weren't complaining when we left with a little bit leftover for later.

Habe lange für eine einfache Pizza warten müssen, die dann auch nur mittelmäßig geschmeckt hat. Aber schlimmer war dass ich fast eine Stunde auf die Rechnung warten musste obwohl ich mich mehrmals bemerkbar gemacht habe. Ich konnte erst bezahlen als ich aufgestanden bin und mich neben die Kasse gestellt habe und darauf bestanden habe - als einziger Gast.

Very friendly service. The pizza was not for me. It didn’t taste like a traditional Napoletana pizza. It felt closer to an American pizza.

Von der Begrüßung weg taucht man hier vom Stadttrubel in italienische Atmosphäre ein. Nicht an italienische Straßenlokale gewöhnte Gäste sollten eh lieber innen Platz nehmen als im kleinen Wirtsgarten direkt an stark befahrener Straße. Klares Konzept basiert auf schlichter, sehr ansprechender Ausstattung über das Angebot mit hauptsächlich natürlich unverbesserlichen Pizze, zubereitet für den Gast sichtbar und (Gesangs-) hörbar authentisch italienisch mit Leidenschaft. Probieren Sie aber hier auch die anderen Gerichte, v.a. die der Wochenkarte, wo wenige Fleisch- und Fischgerichte mit korrektem Gargrad und harmonischen Zutaten zum angemessenen Preis angeboten werden. Neben nicht ganz günstigen Weinen gibt es bezahlbare Bier-Auswahl von Münchens bester Brauerei. Leider wird aber kein Augustiner Dunkel angeboten. Auch Bezahlmöglichkeit läßt noch Detailwunsch (best. Kreditkarte) offen. Statt z.B. zum Finale Grappe in omaggio gibt es hier passend vom Pizza-Ofen ein herausragendes Brot als ersten Bissen.

Both the food and the service are top notch! I really like this small, family-like restaurant and its delicious food. The food is great, without a doubt I will come back. I can't imagine how many times I've walked past the door without looking in - it's definitely worth it. We came straight from the gym thinking we would be looked at askance or treated poorly, as is often the case in Munich, but on the contrary: the service was great and the food even better.

We ordered a pizza from Wolt yesterday and unfortunately this is what we got. For a price of 16 euros frozen pizza looks better. We left very close to restaurant so hard to imagine what happened. Edit: We got our money back via voucher (Bold)

Hier kann man eine leckere Pizza aus dem Holzofen essen. Die Preise für das Essen sind recht hoch, die Getränkepreise eher moderat. Wenn viel los ist wird es ein wenig laut im eher kleinen Restaurant.

Türüf mantarlı pizza gerçekten inanılmaz lezzetli. 16.5 € fiyatı sonuna kadar hakkediyor. Mantarların aromatik tadını hissediyorsunuz. Pizza hamuru gayet güzel, peynirler taze ve enfes. Ayrıca başlangıç için bruschetta deneyebilirsiniz gayet keyifli.

Super süßes, tolles Restaurant. Von außen sieht es sehr unscheinbar aus. Die Pizzen sind der hammer und es gibt neben klassischen Pizzen auch ein paar exotische Sorten. Die Preise finde ich sehr fair. Besonders lustig ist das Personal :)

Was für ein kulinarisches Erlebnis! Dieses italienische Restaurant hat meine Erwartungen bei weitem übertroffen und verdient meiner Meinung nach mehr als fünf Sterne. Die Pizza hier ist schlichtweg phänomenal und ohne Zweifel die beste außerhalb Italiens. Von dem Moment an, als wir das Restaurant betraten, wurden wir herzlich von einem äußerst freundlichen und aufmerksamen Personal begrüßt. Sie haben sich wirklich Mühe gegeben, um sicherzustellen, dass unser Besuch unvergesslich wird. Die Pizzen waren frisch zubereitet und von höchster Qualität. Der Teig war perfekt knusprig und der Belag außergewöhnlich lecker. Die Auswahl an Pizzasorten war beeindruckend, von klassischen Margheritas bis zu kreativen Spezialitäten. Die Atmosphäre des Restaurants war charmant und einladend, was zu einem gemütlichen Abendessen beitrug. Es ist definitiv der perfekte Ort für ein Treffen mit Freunden. Alles in allem war unser Besuch in diesem italienischen Restaurant ein echtes Highlight, und ich kann es nur wärmstens empfehlen. Die Kombination aus köstlicher Pizza und hervorragendem Service macht es zu einem echten Juwel in der Restaurant-Szene. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen!

Non male se volete mangiare italiano,non è comodissimo essendo che non è proprio vicino al centro(15/20 minuti) e la via dov'è situato non è il massimo. Servizio un po' lento e cameriere un po' esaltato...per il resto è ok (Non fanno la pizza con le patatine,non so forse perché non le hanno)

La pizza era leggermente bruciata, nonostante questo aveva un buon sapore. Il posto è un po' distante dal centro. Il bere è arrivato subito mentre la pizza abbiamo dovuto aspettare 20/25 minuti. Consiglio il posto a chi vuole mangiare una pizza "Italiana" a Monaco di Baviera.

Ci sono tornato stasera dopo un bel po’. Avevo voglia di pizza italiana. È esattamente come lo ricordavo. Stessa cortesia e medesima qualità. Un locale 5 stelle. Tappa obbligata per un italiano a Monaco. Devo venire più spesso.

War nun schon mehrmals da und immer zufrieden. Es ist ein ehrlicher Laden mit einer wirklich guten Mannschaft, letztlich so, wie man "seinen" Italiener mag und wie ihn schon die Eltern mochten. Die Preisgestaltung, Stand 07/2023 (!), ist immer noch fair, wahrscheinlich eine der letzten noch nicht angepassten Speisekarten. Macht einfach Laune der Laden und man fühlt sich echt willkommen.

We got 4 pizzas for 5 folks, two large bottles of mineral water, 3 tall beers and two deserts. Total cost with tip 94 euros. Not bad. I recommend this place !

Mein Kollege meinte dies sei die beste pizzeria außerhalb Italiens - und er hatte recht! Super Service vom Kellner Rosario. Wir werden sicherlich bald wieder kommen.

Wir waren früher öfter hier aber leider hat die Qualität und der Service sehr stark nachgelassen. Außerdem konnten wir uns nicht mehr in normaler Lautstärke unterhalten da wir neben eine Musikanlage gesetzt wurde die die ganze Zeit Radio gespielt hat. Kein Ort für einen ruhigen romantischen Abend!

Un'ottima pizza. Ambiente famigliare e accogliente.

Waren mittags dort und saßen draußen. Tische schön mit rot/weißer Tischdecke eingedeckt. Service freundlich. Es gibt eine Mittagskarte. Wir hatten ein 2:1 Buch, das für alle Gerichte galt. Wir bestellten 1 Holzofenpizza Tonno (10,50) und Spaghetti Zander, die würziger hätten sein können (9,90 incl. Salat), dazu Weißbier ( je 4,20). Da es etwas länger dauerte bekamen wir einen 2. Salat gratis zum Essen. Der Kellner (oder vielleicht auch Besitzer) war sehr freundlich, nett und lustig. Er entschuldigte sich immer wieder für die lange Wartezeit und gab zum Schluss noch 2 Limocelos aus. Hier ist der Kunde noch König. So muss es sein. Essen war lecker. Wir kommen sicher wieder ! Zu empfehlen !

Wir sind wegen des Def Leppard / Mötley Crue Konzerts nach München gereist und haben durch Zufall bei Mimmo gelandet. Der Zufall hat es gut mit uns gemeint. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Unsere Bestellung wurde trotz des Hochbetriebs schnell aufgenommen und die Wartezeit wurde uns mit einem netten Plausch des Chefs verkürzt. Der Vorspeisensalat war, ebenso wie die Pizzen aus dem Holzofen sehr schmackhaft und wir hatten einen sehr kurzweiligen Abend und werden bei unserem nächsten Besuch in München ganz sicher wider zu Mimmo gehen.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Die Atmosphäre ist wie in Italien , ein bisschen laut und hektisch aber total authentisch und man liebt‘s. Haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt und der Inhaber ist ein sehr sympathischer Mensch. Immer wieder gerne , wenn wir in München sind.

Diese Pizzeria ist das die Pizza betrifft recht ordentlich… Ambiente ist jetzt nicht das eines modernen oder stylischem Münchner Laden aber das braucht es auch überhaupt nicht. Service typisch Italienisch,charmant witzig und gleichzeitig chaotisch aber sonst für eine schnelle Pizza keine schlechte Adresse

Hervorragende Pizza (Napoli) und Pasta (Spaghetti aglio e olio). Espresso war super. Service war sehr zuvorkommend. Nettes kleines Lokal. Reservierung ist zu empfehlen. Gutes Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis, da die Produkte von guter Qualität sind.
